_____’s time in Vegas City had been relaxing. There’s no way it wouldn’t be when everyone, mainly Cale, made sure it was. And the healer is grateful to all of them. It gave them time to think and lament over the devastating news they had received.

In turn of that kindness and space, _____ made sure to recover after they left the Caro Kingdom. It wasn’t easy, all they wanted to do was lay on the bed all day and cry. Getting energy for the slightest task, even eating, was so hard. But they still pushed themself, because war was approaching.

The battlefield is calling and its first target is their new home.

So the healer pulled themselves by their bootstraps. Even as everyone tried to assure them that it was fine to not be okay they still spared no effort to recover from their depression and be back to normal.

“Basen-nim will handle communications. The Count and Countess will be on the battlefield. Lily-nim is too young.”

Currently, Cale and _____ are having a disagreement.

“That doesn’t mean you’re the only option left. The Henituse have a lot of retainers and people we can use.”

“But can you really go all out if it isn’t one of your direct people guiding the citizens?”

Cale could only furrow his eyebrows at that retaliation. The two are currently disagreeing whether or not _____ should be in charge of leading and guiding the citizens once the Paerun Kingdom attacks. 

Silence lingered for a few seconds. Cale knows that _____ is right. Especially after that northeastern nobles meeting… Cale can only have peace of mind if the one in charge of the citizens is someone he knows. Someone he trusts

_____ reached out towards the redhead, holding his hand to show their resolve.

“Cale, I’ll be fine.”

The healer can feel Cale squeeze their hand back.

“Fine…”

Cale pauses for a moment and _____ thinks they are nearing the end of the discussion.

“But let Raon cast magic on you for disguise.”

Apparently _____ thought wrong.

No way are they allowing the young dragon to cast and maintain magic on them when they need his mana to maintain the barrier. It would also be dangerous to ask another mage for a disguise when there’s always the possibility of their enemies bringing mana disturbance tools.

“Cale you know we can’t do that.”

“Yes, that’s why you better just stay inside the castle walls or beside me and Raon.”

“I can’t do that either. I promise I’ll be safe, plus I’ll be wearing my hood and mask. There’s no way anyone would recognise me.”

Cale sighed as he used his free hand to push his hair back. 

Honestly, everyone listening in (the kids averaging 8 years old) doesn’t know why the young master is fighting this losing battle. If it had been anyone else Cale would’ve agreed in a heartbeat. 

Plus sooner or later they know he’ll give in to the healer’s wishes.

He always does.

True enough, Cale’s resolve did not even last 5 minutes before he agreed to _____’s request. It’s now official that they will be leading the citizens towards safe zones. They would also be the first line of defence in case enemies get past the barrier and start attacking the city. 

Of course, if Cale or someone else from their side gets injured then _____ will run immediately to aid them.

The other people who didn’t listen in on the conversation didn’t even have to ask how it went. Results were obvious from the way _____ was humming on their way out with Cale sighing and petting On and Hong.

“Knight-nim please check if there’s any people left on area d. If you need me I’ll be double-checking our inventory and supplies.”

It’s been a few hours after Cale and _____’s talk. Right now the healer is making sure that everything is in order while their friends are fighting the Indomitable Alliance.

As the Medicus sees Choi Han and the others attack they remember a conversation they had with Cale last night.

The two are the only ones in the room. Well, the only ones awake. The children are with them but Cale has forced them to sleep because they need the energy for tomorrow. A serving of blueberry crumble paired with jasmine tea is being enjoyed as they talk.

“I plan to create a new history. To bring new heroes forward.”

“And I assume you won’t be part of those heroes?”

_____ asked in a joking manner as they refilled both of their teacups.

“Of course not. I only want to win this war and then go rest at the underground villa peacefully.”

Cale stopped speaking to take a bite out of the dessert.

“I’m telling you this because I want to ask you if you’d like to be part of that history. This battle would be a good opportunity to show everyone that you are alive.”

“I… thank you but it would be unneeded.”

The healer’s immediate answer made Cale look at them in confusion.

“Hmm well, that’s a shame the crown prince was also thinking of giving you the Perduellio’s assets as all of them have been found guilty.”

“Is he? I didn’t know such a thing.”

Of course _____ didn’t. Only Cale and Alberu know of such a thing. They're also the only ones who know the sorry state that family is currently in.

“But still… While I do agree with you that this is a good time to do that I still don’t want to do it. My time in the spotlight was not a good experience for me. It would be enough for me to see our friends be known and bask in that light.”

_____ sipped their tea before continuing.

“There’s also the fact that my adoptive family had committed a grave sin. I don’t think it’s right for me to strive for fame when I am still legally part of that family. I will reveal myself, but it won’t be now. I hope Cale and the crown prince can understand…”

Cale nodded in understanding. He's not cruel enough to force someone to do what he wants just because he wants to hide in the shadows. There are already more than enough heroes that he can push into the spotlight.

“I understand, I’ll inform the crown prince don’t worry about it.”

_____ snapped out of their daydream to focus back on their task. 

At least tried to.

Right about when _____ is about to talk to another knight they saw Cale bleed. The healer would have left it to the priests and healers near the field if it was just Cale’s normal bleeding. But it wasn’t.

Cale is bleeding from basically every orifice of his body.

And his too far away for _____ to accurately see if he's okay.

“I’ll leave the rest to you knight-nim, I must assist our Commander.”

So the healer runs. 

They run the fastest they’ve ever had in their entire left. _____ ran so fast they got there before the healers could.

“__– healer-nim you shouldn’t be here.” 

Countess Violan made sure that the healer’s hood and mask were still intact. The fabric on their face had been removed to aid catch their breath from running. Good thing the hood was still intact so it’s unlikely that anyone has seen their face.

“Countess Violan It’ll be fine. Our priority should be the Commander right now.”

_____ has no way of knowing how at that moment, the Henituse’s respect for them grew even more.

The healer turned to Cale to see him talking to what seemed like the air. That must be why his parents are even more worried right now. It looks like the redhead is hallucinating.

Good thing _____ knows the truth. They know that he isn’t hallucinating and that he isn’t talking to thin air. Good thing they know that the words the young master was uttering are directed at a certain invisible dragon.

"It's fine now, I'll be supporting too."

Those words may seem like it was directed at the Countess and Cale but it was directed towards Raon. It's the healer's way of saying that everything will be fine so Raon better follows Cale's instructions.

_____ can’t see Raon nor can they hear his voice in their head, but they’re sure that the dragon has quieted down since Cale had stopped muttering

“Does healer-nim need help?”

The territory’s healer finally arrived. Meanwhile, _____ has not only aided Cale’s vitality of the heart, but they were also healing Choi Han while supporting Mary.

“Yes please.”

Short responses are the only thing _____ can form right now. They must focus all their strength on supporting three people. Choi Han is especially hard to heal. It’s because the Medicus had only known long-distance healing in theory and had never tried it in person.

The far away and moving Choi Han proved to be a difficult patient but _____ is certain that his recovering little by little from the wounds they are slowly absorbing.

It’s a good thing the colour coding for this event is black. Even as blood drips down their sleeves no one would notice from far away.

But not the people near the Medicus.

Cale’s hand that had been holding onto _____’s arms tightened at the blood dripping down the ground. On the bright side, they are now certain that Choi Han’s shoulder wound is getting better.

Meanwhile, supporting Mary is easier but still proves to be a bit of a challenge. The Medicus has to support her as stealthily as possible to not give away her location. Usually whenever _____ uses her ancient power droplets of water would appear. Then they would cover those droplets with their light ability. 

But they can’t do that right now.

Both would be too flashy and would reveal the necromancer’s location.

So they did the next best thing. Which was making their power travel through the cracks of the ground and the wall.

Doing this while doing long-distance healing and supporting the Vitality of the Heart made _____ use more power and energy than they usually would.

“Leave some of the work to the healers and priests.”

The still pale, but doing much better now, Cale whispered. _____ looked at him to assess his condition using their power. 

“I’m okay Commander, and it looks like you’ll be okay soon too.”

_____ heard Cale sigh but ignored it. Seeing that his being ignored, Cale proceeded to gather himself so he could stand up again.

And that made the healer relieved.

Sure they knew his fine. _____ knows that the young master has a regeneration power. But seeing him being in commission again made it feel real. Especially after seeing them bleed that much.

That relief was short-lived.

Because tell _____ why was the first thing Cale did was use his powers again. The healer swears that one day Cale is gonna give them a heart attack.

Fortunately, the healer and the redhead have similar temperaments. Both can work well under immense stress and pressure while making it seem like they aren’t breaking that much sweat. Thanks to that _____’s composure didn’t falter and they were able to do what they needed to.

Choi Han is still a problem though. Because of the distance, the healer can’t fully heal him.

‘If only I was stronger’

_____ tries to push unnecessary thoughts away.

‘If only I was a saint’

Just as _____ was about to get pulled in by their thoughts, they felt a familiar chubby paw on their shoulder.

“Kind _____ hang in there a bit more, we’re close to winning! I’m going to go help out Choi Han now okay?”

Raon’s bright voice had served as a wake-up call for _____. Thanks to him the healer can fully focus on their task until the very end.

“I didn’t know you could do that.”

“I didn’t know I could too.”

Cale and _____ are currently on their way to the underground dungeon. Both of them are pale and their clothes are covered with blood but they are walking as if nothing’s wrong.

“When you were at the Paerun Kingdom I started thinking of my powers in a different light, and this was the conclusion of that.”

“But doing this is harder for your body right?”

“As if, you’re one to talk.”

_____ laughed as they saw Cale scrunch his nose at the comment.

“Yes it’s harder but it’s very useful at times like this. It's all thanks to the anatomy books Ron bought for me. Having a more in-depth idea as to how our bodies work allowed me to assess them even from far away.

It’s good to know that as long as someone is within my eyesight I can heal them. Haaa, but I must say, healing Choi Han-nim while he was riding those flying bones is hard.”

Both of them stopped at the entrance of the underground dungeon.

“Since it’s hard and you overexerted yourself, does this mean you’ll leave Choi Han in the hands of other healers?”

The healer laughed again as they waved goodbye. There’s no way Cale is allowing them to enter the dungeon and they have better things to do.

“No promises Cale.”

And if one of those ‘better things to do’ is healing Choi Han, then Cale can find out for himself later.

I think I know why Sun doesn't want to talk about this or about the specifics of what Creator told him in that dream or how Dark Sun told him about Moons killing their Suns in most dimensions.. or about what Goliath told him.. or about anything else like that really..

Cause Sun holds all the blame for all these things to himself.. he blames himself for everything..

NOW THAT THAT’S OUT OF THE WAY, let’s talk about girl jeri, one of the few favorites of mine.

JERIKA ‘GIRL JERI’ BAYR ( now MATTHEWS ) , is featured in nightmare time 2, abstinence camp. played by the godly woman herself, kim whalen, she’s brought to the table a specific look into religion and it’s qualms with purity culture.

𝙰͟ 𝚂͟𝚃͟𝚄͟𝙳͟𝚈͟ 𝙸͟𝙽͟ :͟ ͟ ͟ ͟ purity culture being taken to the nines, resisting temptation, guilt overruling your psyche, not wanting to be a mother, giving birth to what you think will be hope but will ultimately kill you in the end.

─┈ㅤ ⠀starting off, i think from the get-go, jeri had grown up with an already fixed view of religion. most likely being baptist, and growing up in an uber-religious household had meant that there was no room for error. perfection, was called upon her. she was god's daughter, is god's daughter and creation. he had crafted her for a reason, not to be toyed with and disobedient. her mother was a godfearing woman who prayed three times a day, sometimes six. her father was also a faithful, god-loving man; who created the home. he was honored by the both of his girls. jerika doesn’t have siblings imo, her being an only child makes sense to me considering the isolation she goes through later in life.

i've seen people discuss a lot revolving around her being closeted queer as well, and i do agree with this notion to an extent. she to me, is a lesbian who unfortunately is in a comp-het situation with jerry and has been for a long time now. ( i personally view their dynamic not healthy but i will get to that ). HOWEVER, i can see her not being queer at all, but for the sake of my interpretation, she is.

i don't believe she was popular at all in highschool and i do like to think that she's only a few years older than the Nerds. my personal hc for her and jerry's ages are 23/24 at most, with a child ( lumber axe but i will go into more detail with how i view that ).. i feel if they were just a few years their seniors, it to me, makes sense, given jeri's reaction to steph and pete's shower attempt ( her worried for steph about teenage pregnancy ). i do know it'd be a loophole regarding the beef jerry has/had with ted, but i like to think this makes more sense due to the closeness in age she'd have with steph. again, this is my personal headcanon regarding their ages, you can definitely disagree with me on this.

( jerry didn't need to go, but he went to want to connect with the kids his age. he went to sycamore, like his brothers and sister ). they met while canoeing, the two quickly shared their favorite bible verses with one another and clicked. her favorite verse is 1 corinthians 13:4-7, whereas his is john 3:16 ( iykyk ). she didn't always question her faith, in fact, she rarely did. there were a few ladies in church her eyes would fall upon, but it never went longer than that, just glances at other women she thought were "pretty". she didn't think much about it until she was asked about marriage by her parents one night over dinner. her chest hurt, but she persisted and said she'd find her match soon.

that match, what she didn't know, would be jerry matthews. he was awkward, and she thought he was an alright person to be around. even now, she struggles remembering how they got together specifically, it being a blur for the most part. she liked him, but she wasn't sure she actually loved him. she didn't want to make him feel as if he was being led on though. she continued a relationship with him, maybe expecting things to go smoothly, like her parents were. she wanted nothing but the love she saw growing up.

she remembers the night they did things though, consummated their love. she remembers being confused, wishing that a woman said all the sweet things to her rather than jerry. the temptation of flesh grew stronger than she expected. he kept calling her a dirty girl, and she wanted to prove something. it was uncomfortable, but she did it. it was good in the moment, but the aftermath, she felt as if she committed the most sinful act she could. she was 17 when she found out she was pregnant. she didn't know who to tell or who to confide in. when she did tell her parents, it was greeted with disappointment.

"Our baby girl, tainted by the hands of the devil?" "I don't want you in my house, you wretch." "But mom, dad, I-" "Out. Now."

disowned, scared and alone, jerika made her way to the when she had told jerry, he had a similar reaction, initially pulling away from her, recoiling in disgust, but when he saw the tears well, and her having her arms wrapped around herself, he just watched. she sniffled, hiccuped and sobbed. she didn't want this. he came to and gathered his thoughts. he could leave. leave his family home, the family that had gone through a handful of events as of the last few years regarding his nephews and his late sister. that night, he and jerika left, he had packed a bag and left a simple note for his parents to find. 'Bye.'

“Teen pregnancy is no joke, Steph. If you don’t start taking this work seriously, you’re gonna end up with a child before you’re ready. You’re gonna have to drop outta school. Your family will disown you. Where are you gonna raise that baby? In the woods? We just wanna help you!” - Talking to Stephanie Lauter about the rumor of her ‘pregnancy’ in tears.

─┈ㅤ ⠀jerika during her pregnancy was confused, unsure of how she was going to raise this baby. she couldn't continue school, and when they left to go to camp idonwannabang, they had to scower whatever they could. jerry had suggested that she drop out, but he continue school, to help and fund for their bundle of joy who was bound to arrive eventually. she couldn't say no, so she listened, and stayed within a small cabin that the two found that went unused at camp idonwannabang. originally used as a councilor cabin and meeting room, they rennovated and flipped it to work as their living space. the former camp councilors hadn’t been in during the season, so they took the chance and seized it for themselves.

having had dropped out at 17, and disowned by her family, jerika felt as if he was a failure. a failure of a daughter, of a partner, if a devout christian. it all came crashing down on her. during one night, when jerry had fallen asleep, she carefully slipped out of bed to sit out on the back of the porch. she held her bump, wishing she didn’t have this- yet guilt crept into her body, wrangling her tightly and held her high in the air. what type of mother was she? she wasn’t. her girlhood felt as if gone, and thrown into motherhood, she didn’t understand— she didn’t know who to talk to, who to confide. so that night, she prayed.

she prayed for something, something good, to make this worth it.

when he was born, they didn’t go to the hospital, they ( jerry mainly ) didn’t want to let the existence of their now illegitimate child to the rest of hatchetfield. god knows what would happen if that news got out. was she really ready for that? the people of hatchetfield would know jerika bayr was a dirty girl. that she fornicated out of wedlock. she would rather die than deal with that. jerika gave birth in the bathroom of the councilor cabin, jerry delivering him. the baby was a whopping 8 pounds when he arrived into the world, and she remembered seeing him for the first time. hair, so much hair, dark like his father and nearly purple from oxygen meeting him for the first time. she didn’t even have a name prepared, but jerry swept in, calling him ‘little jerry’. that was his name now, apparently.

she didn't expect to love him as much as she did. the idea of her pushing him away had come up numerous times, during the first few years of his life, she fought hard to make sure the idea of purity was surrounding their new dysfunctional family. like in canon, she raised him off of the flora and fauna of the witchwood, the berries that'd grow locally became one of jerry jr's favorites. when he was two, he began talking, saying 'mama' and 'papa' relatively often. now, the difference between my hcs and canon is that jerry jr is NOT lumber axe.

─┈ㅤ ⠀jerika knew about the strange occurrences in the witchwood, it wasn't hard to know. everyone in hatchetfield knew that it was a dark place. she thought that the darkness wouldn't reach her family, her child nonetheless. she was wrong, like usual. jeri had witnessed the steady decline of jerry throughout the years. when campers started going missing, she thought it was the woods, the evil that lurked between the branches.

one night, after she had put jerry jr to bed, she went to check on her 'husband' ( they didn't marry officially, but she took his last name as a means to hide the bayr name ). she didn't find him in their bedroom, she didn't find him in the living space in the cabin, but she heard dragging. she heard whispers, and stepped out to the back to find jerry hauling a potato sack soaked in crimson and an axe over his shoulder to match.

"what are you doing?" she had asked. "taking care of those horny kids. go to bed," he told her, clicking his tongue.

weary, she listened, choosing peace that night even if she slept uneasily. she had heard him come in, run a shower, and close the bathroom door behind him. when he was showering, she stepped out, sneaked by to see what he was carrying.

approaching the sack of red, she swallowed, bracing for whatever. she didn't realize she had to brace for anything, but it scared her. he frightened her.

jerika was barely able to open it fully before she got sick at the sight, of a wrist with a WWJD bracelet still on it. blue, a boy camper, but who? she didn't know until the following morning that two campers had never returned from the bonfire that night.

she watched as jerry delivered a saddened speech, something about, 'well, hopefully, they'll find their way back to our lord soon.' but his eyes didn't match his tone or his mouth. it would've been here, at the age of 21, she would've realized that he was doing far more than expected.

the two had gotten into an argument, but it ended the same way, he was using jerry jr's existence as a threat. and he'd call her that. she was subdued whenever she was referred to as that, and it made her skin crawl. back before, sure, she would've liked it but she's grown to despise the nickname.

she had to comply and remain complacent, or else he would air out her business. she had to be obedient, in the eyes of god and her lover, because if she didn't, she'd surely be sent to the fires below.

she grows tired, anxious and wants to be free from this chamber. she wants to be free from the knowledge she has, the role she was thrown in. she was never meant to be a mother this early. she never was supposed to be with a man, a man like him. because of jerry's false preaching, she questioned her faith heavily, soon losing it.

the only reason she's still playing along is to hopefully fix whatever mess he creates, and help whoever she can. she wouldn't wish for anyone to go through what she did. by god, she'd do what she could, even if half the time, it meant being killed by the one she thought she loved.

Lestat loved Nicky so much ( and this episode louis agreeing with armand that lestat would just abandon Nicky pissed me off to no ends let me tell you)

Because already you can tell how much he loved him! He kept the music box, talked lovingly about him, had difficulty mentioning his death it was all there written between the lines

Also I love how already we saw a little of their true dynamic re: Nicky being pessimistic and making an acerbic comment and lestat passing it off with lightness

As a side note here -I'm sure we will get to this discussion when season 3 airs (here's hoping, wishing, manifesting!), but I believe Nicky loved lestat too.

I am a loustat fan until the end, but I have to disagree with the view that nicky never loved lestat back bc i find the love Nicky and lestat shared very true and profound.

Here's the thing: despite popular belief and (his own words) Nicky showed he loved lestat in his own way.

He may have hoped for them to fail in paris but he went and played violin in the streets and got drunk and danced with lestat and shared his joy and tried to comfort him when he could ( when lestat got freaked out by the witches place, or when he got scared about magnus stalking him). I believe he meant it when he said he loved him.

I think at the heart of it lies mental illness. Nicky was severely depressed and perhaps bipolar and even through his own words about his darkness it shows he recognized it and couldn't change it for lestat or for himself even if he tried.

And perhaps one of the differences between louis and Nicky ( though I don't think it's fair to compare the two) is that louis will try to conquer his demons for others and namely for his love of lestat whereas Nicky would not.

I believe next season we will fully see this dynamic play out and our hearts will break over the tragedy that is Nicolas the love that could not be saved.

The show will definitely pass up on the canon parallels that exist :)

But yes, Nicolas was severely depressed, and very disillusioned, too, which of course shaped his world view, too.

What little we saw of that specific time frame in 2x03 fit for me. It was interesting, because Armand tried to play down Nicki's importance, but of course he didn't quite manage, which in turn hints at other things.

I cannot wait to see it all play out in s3 - I bet this show will make us look at the darkness there as well - and the beauty.

Ok so I've just read all of your posts on Remus Lupin HCs, please allow me to rant into your inbox (kindly, I promise).

I think I completely agree with almost all your hcs here. My absolute favourite being Remus not being able to dance but doing it for Sirius anyway. Because yes!! They are so dedicated to one another, and absolutely remus may not be conventionally attractive, but Sirius sees nothing but the most beautiful man when he looks at him (and vice versa, though it probably goes without saying)

Also, I would like to add my personal favourite: He is the messiest marauder. His work is meticulous, so when he's researching something or fixated on a project he is a stickler for the details, but then he just throws his clothes everywhere when he goes to bed at night.

I adore fics with chronic illness Remus, and the rep is so important. That said, I do find it really fun to explore AUs where he's not afflicted with lycanthropy or analogous illness and the affect that would have on his confidence, his social demeanour etc. (not at all to say you can't be confident and happy with a chronic illness, more that I think it affects Remus strongly, especially because he has a tendency to compare himself to his friends who he's occasionally guilty on putting on a bit of a pedestal, and most especially as a werewolf where he views himself unworthy/monstrous).

But also sorry, I wanted to pile on with the flaws (not because I disagree that he is perfect, but actually I think you've nailed all the positives):

I think that he can occasionally be a bit preachy/know-it-all (not in an ill-meaning way where he's looking down on his friends, but that he feels he's the more responsible/mature one even if it's not always the case) and a bit of a martyr (suffer in silence even to the frustration of his friends who just want to take care of him).

And (to elaborate on one of your points) whereas Sirius will lash out to a fault when he is angry, on the rare occasion Remus is angry at someone other than himself or the world, he will shut it all up and refuse to communicate. Particularly as a teenager before he's developed healthy coping, I can see him doing this almost to a point of toxicity because he doesn't want people to realise that side of him - especially in universes where he is a werewolf. And in the more angsty AUs (though I much prefer all the fluff when it comes to wolfstar) this can be what drives them apart. But let's not think about that.

I won't say I identify most with Remus, because one thing I love about the marauders is that I identify a little with each of them, but I'm absolutely with you on the social anxiety (this is my first time writing someone an ask, and the thought of sending it is absolutely terrifying).

Probably nothing I've said here is very original or groundbreaking, but I enjoyed your hcs so much and then the rant came on. Also, sorry if this comes off as me trying to convince you of anything - I promise I'm not. I'm a very firm believer in 'to each their own', especially when it comes to fictional characters. I also wanted to reiterate something so important you said, and I agree with 100%, which is that good writing can get me on board with almost any characterisation. One of my absolute favourite things about the marauders fandom is where you have all these different hcs floating around and yet they're all so recognisable as the marauders. At his core, regardless of his characterisation, Remus is Remus and we love him for that.

Hi! Good to meet you. And talking about Remus is one of my love languages so I was glad to see this and the time you spent reading all of my rambling.

I love it when it's discussion like this or that reddit thread bc it's not how I've seen it where it's basically... "My opinion is the only one that matters." Bc it's a huge sandbox and I love the kind conversations like this. And didn't see it as trying to change my mind or anything just adding other great points.

And I'm glad you sent this. I promise, I'm not scary, I love interaction. But I totally get the anxiety. I usually either can't say anything or can't shut up. Working on it, lol.

Bc yes! It's the beauty of fandom that we see this same character and put him in so many different situations and then taking different aspects of personality and either latching on to one aspect, or exploring how things can be different when something shifts. Whenever it be taking out of magical world or like you said authors exploring what remus is like with out any kind of disability or chronic illness.

I think that is a hill I cling to and literally search the AO3 tags for bc it's something that I see in myself bc I've always had different physical challenges. Thats one of main factors that kept me into fandom and drew me to like his character before I ever read fanfic. So I write him that way always. And I search for fics that explore it.

But that said-- a lot on my favorites and rec lists don't feature it.

It's all a preference thing. Of what people search for and crave in a story.

And I like what you said about seeing a bit of myself in all of the marauders. Bc I love exploring and seeing myself in Sirius with mental illness but I guess that can also come back around to remus bc I think that's something they saw in each other and bonded over.

Bc while I think that the friendship between sirius and James is really powerful, and he tells him everything, there's just something about connecting with someone who gets complicated family dynamics even though they look very different, and the results of childhood trauma, etc. and ofc there's more to wolfstar friendship and relationship but I think that is part of it.

And absolutely, I agree. The man is far from perfect. I didn't go into that quite as much.

But totally makes sense about being know it all sometimes or thinking most nature when not the case all the time .. and I think that can come back to his wanting to be in control issues? Maybe a certain rigidity?

And martyr complex? Absolutely! Him feeling like a burden is something I like to explore and whether it's a physical or monetary thing. I think he's a mix of prideful, stubborn and feeling of being too much.

Love the point about the differences in how him and Sirius can express the anger and how it can lead to miscommunication or hurt and often does. But at the end of the day, I love it when they both work on themselves but still love the other even if it doesn't change. Figuring out how to help each other but yeah. Quite a few on my favorites list do have them divorced or separated for awhile bc those type issues

Quackity and Schlatt’s Relationship - More Complicated Then You Think

(this is all /rp and about the characters from the dream smp! pls assume i have the dignity not to write analysis of youtubers)

recently there was a bit of discourse surrounding the relationship between Quackity and Schlatt floating around on tumblr. tho i never saw the original post that sparked the conversation, i did see a few posts that were inspired by it mentioning how they disliked that the original post implied that Quackity and Schlatt were mutually abusive and/or equally bad for each other 

since i never saw the original post, i can't be sure if that's what the op meant to imply. it's not really my place to speak about a post that i never got the chance to read. BUT the conversation that was caused by the post in question did get me thinking about how this fandom treats the relationship between Quackity and Schlatt and how little nuance there is in discussions about it

now before i say anything else, i want to make a few things clear:

i don't think Quackity and Schlatt’s relationship is mutually abusive. no need to worry about hearing that from this post

i don't look down on ppl who have different interpretations of their relationship

there will be potentially triggering content in this analysis. i will place a quick warning whenever i think one is needed!

their relationship is romantic in canon and therefore i’ll be treating it as romantic

alright now that we’ve gotten all of that out of the way, we can finally get on with the analysis! i apologize for how long this is gonna be

part 1: let's talk relationship!

i think we can all agree that Quackity and Schlatt’s relationship was not exactly a healthy one. tho it didn't start out that way, it certainly turned into what could be read as abusive or toxic (i personally read their relationship as being abusive in its later half due to evidence provided by the text, but i understand if others prefer to view it as just toxic instead)

but what happened that led to their partnership ending so badly? what caused all of this mess?

well, it was a lot of things. but we will get to that later. let's talk relationship first!

from the very beginning, Quackity and Schlatt’s relationship was pretty one-sided. tho they both clearly liked each other as friends/partners in crime both before and after the election (yes they did interact before the election!) Quackity was also interested in Schlatt romantically- something that Schlatt wasn't fully committed to

as we all know from the infamous date stream and from a few other moments, Quackity and Schlatt enjoyed playfully flirting with each other- tho it was pretty obvious that Quackity was more serious about it then Schlatt was even tho Schlatt considered Quackity to be very attractive

in my opinion, Quackity is someone who wants a long term relationship, while Schlatt is more interested in flings. this can be seen in Schlatt refusing to marry Quackity and rejecting most of his advances while Quackity tried his best to convince him to feel otherwise. Tommy put it best: Quackity is just one of Schlatt’s many bitches U_U

to Quackity, the romantic aspect of their relationship was very important. because Schlatt never actually shot him down or told him that he didn't feel the same way, Quackity took that to mean that they were truly in love. Schlatt on the other hand wasn't very invested in the romantic side of things but clearly valued Quackity’s looks and his support as an ally against Pogtopia so he never fully rejected Quackity’s advances

this might not seem like too big of a deal considering the other things that happened between them, but i think it shows part of the nature of their relationship. there is a lot of miscommunication and, on Schlatt’s end, manipulation of emotions. love is a strong motivator for loyalty and Schlatt is a smart guy who would know how to use that to his advantage

but that isn't to say that Schlatt didn't ever care about Quackity!

Schlatt is a complicated guy and figuring out when he's actually being genuine can be pretty difficult. but i think there are some moments that point to Schlatt genuinely caring about Quackity

when he was alive, Schlatt was pretty paranoid. not as paranoid as Wilbur, but certainly up there. but there were never any times where he truly questioned Quackity’s loyalties after his first day as president. Schlatt also seemed truly upset that Quackity betrayed him, bringing up their status as partners in crime while ranting about how much it hurt him and singling Quackity out while talking about how he had been abandoned during his time of need

Schlatt also spent a lot of time sulking after Quackity betrayed him and whining to Ponk about needing a new bitch. this is in contrast to how angry he was after Tubbo betrayed him- both during and after the execution

there is also the situation with the Big Man Gym 

after being dead for a while, Schlatt contacted Quackity despite them leaving off on bad terms and asked for him to visit him in his cave gym. when Quackity showed up, Schlatt talked about how he valued their relationship and the good times they had together. tho this can easily be seen as emotional manipulation, Schlatt’s a lot smarter than he seems and- if he doesnt have memory issues due to being a ghost- would know that Quackity’s opinion of him was in the dump at the time of his death and most likely wouldn't have improved since then. Fundy has a higher opinion of Schlatt than Quackity does and is someone who obviously craves validation. but Schlatt went to Quackity first anyway and trusted him to help revive him

i think that this is all good evidence that points towards Schlatt truly caring about Quackity as much as someone like Schlatt can care about anyone- or at least valuing him as a companion

i also think that it is pretty common knowledge that Quackity cared about Schlatt- and possibly still does- but i will go over a bit of evidence that i haven’t already mentioned before we move on to the next part

Quackity tried multiple times to impress Schlatt (like when he lied about knowing how to play chess), would attempt to help Schlatt when he was drowning in water, sadly said that they could have had something together while Schlatt was dying in the caravan, and implied that he wouldn’t have left if Schlatt hadn’t taken down the white house. Quackity also willingly went to the Big Man Gym after being summoned there by Schlatt and wanted to revive him long before the revive book became part of the story

part 2: what made it fall apart?

everything i've said so far has been pretty interesting (hopefully) but it doesn't really answer the original question: what went wrong to turn Schlatt and Quackity’s mainly positive partnership sour?

well it comes down to two things in my opinion: their incompatible desires for political power and Schlatt’s deteriorating mental state

Quackity wanted political power from the beginning and wasn't afraid to be open about his desires. he pooled his votes with Schlatt because Schlatt offered him the position of vice president, something Wilbur and Tommy weren’t willing to give to him. tho Quackity obviously cared about L’Manburg and wanted to see good things for it, he also desired power and was willing to team up with someone he didn't fully agree with to get said power

at 32:40 in this video, Quackity talks about how in politics everyone uses everyone so it's alright if Schlatt is using him. he then talks about how he doesn't want to be a man with no power and how he understands that Schlatt’s main goal is also gaining/keeping power. Quackity also shows a bit of his naughty evil side by saying if he overthrows Schlatt then the fun ends too early! 

(side note: these two are pretty evenly matched in intelligence and manipulativeness, i love it!) 

it's a bit of a fandom misconception that Quackity was a love sick yes man during the Manburg era. tho Quackity did want to please Schlatt and was in love with him, he didn't shy away from standing up to or disagreeing with Schlatt when he believed it was needed

at around 26:12 of this video, Quackity and Schlatt meet together in private and Quackity tells Schlatt off for playing down his role in the power structure of Manburg. since this was very early in Schlatt’s reign, Quackity shows no fear towards him and confidently tells him not to treat him like that

Quackity also broke Niki out of jail after regretting letting her be put there in the first place, tried to convince Schlatt to not execute Tubbo, jumped in front of Fundy when Schlatt tried to attack him, tried to stop Schlatt from tearing down buildings, and attempted to protect the white house he built from being destroyed by Schlatt. these are not behaviors of a pure yes man but of someone who, despite fear, has the confidence to speak up for himself even when disrespected by someone in authority

Quackity has always been someone who wanted power and someone who was never a yes man to authority. this contradicts with how Schlatt believed Quackity should act as vice president. in Schlatt’s opinion, Quackity’s one job is to sit around looking pretty while Schlatt does all of the important things and holds all of the power. Schlatt was a big fan of promoting people to worthless positions of authority and its pretty obvious that he considered vice president to be similar to the fake positions he gave Fundy and Tubbo 

in the end, this was a big part of what destroyed their relationship. like it or not, Quackity’s a power hungry guy and always has been. he didn't like that Schlatt constantly shoved him aside and refused to listen to him

now onto the nasty bit...Schlatt’s mental state

cw for mentions of alcoholism, mental deterioration, and abusive behavior  

before i say anything more, i just want to say that i don't think having issues with alcoholism makes someone a bad person. i personally have some issues with such things so it would be pretty stupid of me to say being an alcoholic makes you a bad person. alcoholism does negatively affect your cognitive functions tho and, combined with other health issues, can cause some of the very serious mental problems that Schlatt clearly struggles with

throughout the Manburg era, Schlatt’s mental state rapidly deteriorated. he went from a pretty normal- if eccentric- guy who had a drinking problem, to someone who was delirious most of the time. it's a sharp and noticeable decline that caused a lot of pain for Quackity due to Schlatt often taking his excess aggression out on him by yelling at him and/or belittling him. tho Schlatt often belittled Quackity before he went fully off of the deep end, it was never as aggressive as it was when he was in this delirious state of mind

it was during one of Schlatt’s most aggressive and delirious moments that he tore down the white house despite Quackity’s protests. as we all know, this caused Quackity to snap and kill Schlatt (it's more complicated than that but we will get back to that). as mentioned previously, Quackity implied that he would have stayed with Schlatt if the white house hadn’t been destroyed

in my opinion, these two things combined are the biggest reasons why Quackity and Schlatt’s relationship fell apart. their differing desires for power were not compatible and Schlatt’s awful behavior while his mental state declined caused a rift between them that couldn't be fixed

part 3: how toxic was it really?

cw for emotional and physical abuse 

as i said all the way back in part one, Quackity and Schlatt’s relationship was not healthy. i have provided many examples in the other two parts that shine a light onto why it wasn't healthy, but i didn't show the entire picture

there are many moments that show exactly how Schlatt treated Quackity when he was acting at his worst and none of them are pretty. tho Schlatt was never truly aggressive with his insults until he started to go off of the deep end, that doesn't mean that what he said wasn't negatively affecting Quackity

Schlatt would belittle, insult, and mock Quackity for his appearance not being up to his standards, for his opinions, and for being emotional in ways that Schlatt disapproved of like crying. tho Schlatt would often brush off Quackity’s reactions towards this cruel behavior, it's very clear that Schlatt’s treatment of him has stuck with Quackity in many ways

Quackity is very sensitive about his appearance and it seems to be because of how badly Schlatt hurt his self esteem during their time together. Schlatt tied Quackity’s worth to his appearance and then would claim he wasn't meeting his standards of attractiveness. we can tell that this has stuck with Quackity because of his sensitivity towards people bringing up the scar on his face (something that greatly alters his physical appearance) and he still reacts very badly when Schlatt calls him the mocking nickname flatty patty

speaking of flatty patty- that stupid insult shockingly has a lot of weight in Quackity’s relationship with Schlatt. tho its something the audience is meant to laugh at, the nickname also shows just how little Schlatt respects Quackity because he's constantly throwing it around just to make Quackity upset. Schlatt’s last words are flatty patty all because he wanted to get in one last dig at his ex and ruin Quackity’s day even further 

Schlatt tends to do a lot of things that are intended to make Quackity upset. tearing down the room Quackity made for him in the white house is the biggest example of this- especially since Schlatt mentions how it will upset Quackity while he does it. you can see this moment at around 19:10 of this video

and now let's get into the elephant in the room when it comes to these two: Quackity was scared of Schlatt. tho we never really see Schlatt hit or attack Quackity physically outside of their confrontation at the white house or their confrontation in the caravan, these clips imply that Quackity was at the very least scared of Schlatt physically harming him in some way 

as for actually physically harming him, Schlatt hits Quackity multiple times with a pickaxe and with his fists during their white house fight. Quackity hits Schlatt a couple times too, tho these are all primarily defensive blows since he is trying to protect himself and his property. he also chases after Quackity with a bow after Quackity’s plan to trick him into signing Manburg over to the Pogtopians fails and hits him multiple times during the caravan confrontation

all of this evidence shows that Schlatt was an abusive (or at least toxic) partner towards Quackity and someone who greatly affected him in many ways

tho Quackity did a few questionable things throughout his relationship with Schlatt (such as trying to get Schlatt to have sex with him despite Schlatt not being interested as shown in the later half of this video) and did some downright morally wrong things during his time as vice president of Manburg, no one deserves the pain of an abusive relationship- even a person who has done bad things

as a brief side note before we move on because i know people will bring it up if i skip over it, Quackity did- and most likely still does- want to literally possess Glatt. he brought up reviving Schlatt and using him as a political pawn after Schlatt’s funeral and during their conversation at the Big Man Gym Quackity talked about owning Glatt and having him work at Las Nevadas with no pay

this is unsettling behavior to say the least but this essay isnt about the aftermath of their relationship so much as it is about their relationship when it was actually happening. maybe i will make another post talking more about how Quackity’s relationship with Schlatt affected him even after Schlatt’s death and/or about Quackity’s relationship with Glatt

part 4: final thoughts

i’m not exactly sure why the nuances in Schlatt and Quackity’s relationship get lost when it comes to the fandom, but it’s pretty disappointing to see. hopefully this essay can help people take a closer look at canon and maybe even help them find something interesting that they’d want to explore!

tho the point of this essay is to clear up any misconceptions and hopefully add some nuance to the conversations surrounding Schlatt and Quackity’s relationship, i also wrote it in hopes of showing people how fascinating these two partners in crime were back in the Manburg days. i didn’t cover everything but i think i did a pretty good job for my first analysis post in the dsmp fandom

also since you read to the end, i must say thank you! it really does means a lot to me that you did. i hope you enjoyed and maybe even learned something. this post can be used as a resource if anyone wants to use it as such

okay, here i go. i will just say my opinions on this, i'm not expecting you to agree with everything nor i want you to. please keep in mind i barely remember the series and have just reread the scene you mentioned. plus this is so long, i fear i will bore you.

the scene is so bad written. it's so funny how bad it is given the fact it is supposed to be a moment where both the readers and the seven get to be troubled and hesitant about what to do. except that we don't feel like that because the situation is showed to us like an emergency: nico has five days to live and he can't get out of it alone.

anyone who disagrees with the idea of saving him will be seem like an asshole. there's no question, because the situation that is presented was something urgent and without other choice besides them going and saving him.

i was surprised with piper being a mediator, i barely remember the stuff she did so reading she trying to calm and reassure hazel that yes, they are going to save her brother was so sweet. frank clearly was just trying to keep hazel from panicking so i will judge him here: he was only a trophy boyfriend in the whole scene. he didn't have an opinion and he just accepted that well, it's time to save hazel's brother then. i kinda can judge piper for the same, but given i hardly have good things to talk about her i will let it slide this time.

it's so funny how everything happens in percy pov and he. barely talks about it. he says he have a "rocky relationship" with nico, but he also affirms they are going to save him — that they have to —, but when he could say anything to make jason and leo to feel less suspicious about the whole thing, he does nothing.

it's interesting to see that since hearing about nico's situation, all annabeth does is analyze what's happening and say the obvious — she points out he is the bait when she is alone with percy and she is the first to make it seems ambiguous ether or not they were going to save him, as it shows here:

“The giants are trying to lure us,” Annabeth said. “They’re assuming we’ll try to rescue him.”

she doesn't say if she agrees or not to go save him. damn that's cold as fuck. in her defense, she is supposed to be more "rational", but she could still keep being neutral and make people think and theorize about the why nico couldn't tell anyone about the two camps instead of just passive watching. actually besides this and the other line about the death slumber, she says nothing in the entire scene.

(which is weird to me. guess i remember a different annabeth then.)

and now we came to the "assholes"! /hj

leo, like annabeth did in private with percy, was just pointing the obvious.

“Uh…” Leo shifted in his chair. “One thing. The giants are expecting us to do this, right? So we’re walking into a trap?”

that's his first line. it's after this that everything went downhill. in a critical approach, i think it should be questioned if they would save him or not before they know if nico is a) alive and b) could get out of the situation on his own. doing it after just seems like leo is being rude and apathetic to another human being life. which i doubt was the point here, given he does have some points to make:

“Don’t get me wrong, Hazel. It’s just that your brother, Nico… he knew about both camps, right?”

“Well, yes,” Hazel said.

“He’s been going back and forth,” Leo said, “and he didn’t tell either side.”

Jason sat forward, his expression grim. “You’re wondering if we can trust the guy. So am I.”

Hazel shot to her feet. “I don’t believe this. He’s my brother. He brought me back from the Underworld, and you don’t want to help him?”

while we, as a readers, knew about nico's intention and reasons, the characters does not. so if there was a change he was, in fact, a traitor, it would be great to point it out while they have time to discuss it. neither leo (, piper) or jason really knew nico — plus, while jason does says he remembers the guy — some pages ahead —, something we should keep in mind is how much does he actually remembers? and how much does he knew about him?

these two were not good judges of character here, since they didn't really knew nico beyond what others could tell them (and one of them was still working on remembering his past life). they really were the best ones for this, to add this tension, but the timing was bad. it made them look like bad guys even though they had the right to question if that was actually a good move.

hazel also gave them no actual reason as to why they should save nico (besides it being the actual heroic and right thing to do). the only thing she said here is he broke the law of the circle of life for her. and they don't want to help her?

she only made him look worse (/lh) while trying to defend him. it's not like jason or leo were bringing an impossibility to the table — he maybe could be gaea's ally, how would they know? his actions were not adding up and what she said is just a reminder of how far nico can go if he feels like it. were they right? of course not (but now my mind is like wHAT IF THEY WERE– damn being a ficwriter is ridiculous).

and even while bringing this possibility on the table, these two never said what if we don't save him, uh? it can be implied that maybe they didn't wanted to — to me it isn't though —, i guess it depends on the interpretation on who reads it. the thing is, they raised a point that nobody wanted to — or thought about — and the only thing that made they look like assholes was the fact that nico's days were counted. (my mind is so giddy to work on something like that i'm starting to hate this concept /hj)

and what it's the most funny about it for me is that hazel makes a jab at jason a lil later.

Hazel’s arms shook. A silver platter zoomed toward her and hit the wall to her left, splattering scrambled eggs. “You… the great Jason Grace… the praetor I looked up to. You were supposed to be so fair, such a good leader. And now you…” Hazel stomped her foot and stormed out of the mess hall.

my sweet summer child, he is being fair — but it doesn't seems like it because people are biased and are only caring about one life. (i probably sound like a big asshole too lmao, i swear i just being the "cold and analytical" cliche here, i hated this scene when i first read it too). was it really a good option to go in a rescue mission when they were fighting to save the world? one life is really more worth than thousand, millions one? should they really risk everything to save nico just because he is hazel's brother?

a good leader see all the options and try to see the situation from a lot of ways so they can better prepared for whatever is thrown at them. i don't think he is being a bad leader here (you, who is reading this, can totally disagree with me. my opinion won't change.)

now, if the question was only if it was a good choice to save him or not and his life time limit, i would end the post here. but no, there was another thing to put in the equation:

“That’s not much time,” Piper summed up. She put her hand on Hazel’s shoulder. “We’ll find him. At least we know what the lines of the prophecy mean now. ‘Twins snuff out the angel’s breath, who holds the key to endless death.’ Your brother’s last name: di Angelo. Angelo is Italian for ‘angel.’”

did they even had a choice here? another thing that came way too early in my opinion is how they must save nico because he was part of the prophecy puzzle. of course the majority would go on board with saving him if he is a necessary tool to defeat gaea — this could also be used as an argument, a pretty bad one being honest, since you would only see him as a way to finish your task. but still would be one more way to convince others to save him too.

it doesn't necessarily negates the point that leo and jason made though it does make it clear that ether it is a good or a bad idea doesn't matter — they will need him. they will have to rescue him, because the prophecy says that he is the one who can guide them, so even if they have solid proof that they shouldn't; it doesn't matter.

the prophecy always became true. be it by the way we think it would or be it in the unthinkable way.

to resume: does i agree with the character questions and debates? no, nico is dying and i need and want him alive. jason and leo acted like assholes? depends on how i am judging the scene, if i am being biased: yes. if i am not being biased: a little. does percy and annabeth silence is okay? no, cause it doesn't make sense — even if percy is feeling petty or is simple ooc (or both, because these two arguments can coexist), i still think he should have at least tried to make nico be seem in a better light (even if he failed at it, like hazel). annabeth could still make a neutral point about how he helped in the wars while also didn't help or made it easier in finding percy while theorizing about the reason why nico did that. frank could do better, maybe he could side with leo and jason (surprisingly) and it could be something to work on his relationship with hazel. piper actually was very interesting in this scene, i could feel she somehow empathized with hazel since she also was in a similar situation with her dad in the first book (also she calling jason and leo out for being cold?? amazing, perfect, i loved it, this piper is now part of the characterization i wil use to write her).

i don't even remember what point i was trying to do lmao. all i remember was being too annoyed with people being angry at the seven for this scene. like yeah it's completely okay and valid to be angry, frustrated or uncomfortable with their decisions (or lack of), i just felt like people didn't really understood why the scene was even there in the first place (although very bad done and executed).

OBEY ME! LESSON 55 DETAILED SUMMARY AND DISCUSSION/THEORIES

*I wrote this days after the lesson was first posted and never bothered to go back and edit it so meaning there will be me theorizing about the next lesson as well

OKAY! So first off the background for this is absolutely gorgeous and shows a real demon. You know the kind you’d imagine an actual demon to look like and everything’s dark (black, grey, brown) there’s a castle on a mountain like area with a narrow suspended pathway leading to it, there are crows flying around and a person in a robe pointing what looks like a lit wand at a snarling attacking demon, there are skulls and what looks like weapons on the ground and my favourite part: a person in a long robe, kneeling on the ground, covering the top of their face with their hands and wailing to the sky. It’s all tailor made to my taste and I love it! There’s one locked lesson.

It’s breakfast time and Asmo & Beel are heading to an all you can eat global sweet sampler, MC questions it and Asmo says you can get desserts from all over the world there and Asmo’s hoping to live stream it. Asmo invites MC but Mammon interjects asking them to come see “cute horsies” with him. “’Horsies.’ He’s so pretentious. Shut up, it’s the fucking horse race. ‘Horsies.’” Says Levi. Levi invites MC to a real life TSL themed escape room (that sounds really fun tbh), Satan invites them to come watch the sci-fi movie they were talking about, in their home theatre. (he’s actually watched it 3 times already but he read online theories about it and now he wants to see if he can catch the basis for those theories in the movie). They all start arguing about it (except Beel who’s just eating) when MC gets a text from Diavolo congratulating them on their 5th star and wishing them luck for the other 2 and inviting them to an amusement park date. Everyone – MC included – is kind of baffled by the one on one date with Diavolo. They ask any of the others if they want to tag along but they all refuse but Beel asks if MC can take Belphie along since he hasn’t really left the house in a while and Beel’s worried. MC texts asking if they can bring Belphie along too and Diavolo says the more the merrier and I just know this is gonna end in disaster like did Belphie ever even resolve all the problems he had with Diavolo back in S1?

Beel drags Asmo along to wake Belphie up because a.) he doesn’t want Asmo to leave to the sweets thing without him b.) they need all the help they can get to wake him up. MC suggests using force and Asmo happily volunteers to grab Belphie, turn him over and drop him on the ground, Beel says they can’t do this to poor Belphie cause Beel’s a sweetheart, and says the most force he’ll allow them to use is by tickling Belphie, which Asmo then does. It doesn’t work so Asmo says if they’re gonna use force they should do something like this right before he screams “ASMO DIIIIIIVE!!!” and jumps on top of Belphie as Beel protests and I love that despite what you’d assume from his aesthetic and despite what Asmo would like you to believe he’s a lot more rough and tumble and violent (I just really love the sweet with hidden edges trope as much as I love the jerk with a gooey centre trope). Belphie says ow and Asmo brightly and sweetly cheers that he woke up as if just seconds ago he hadn’t used a wrestling move on his sleeping baby brother. Beel says that though Belphie’s body is awake his mind isn’t (relatable), Beel fixes Belphie’s bedhead and Asmo complains that Belphie’s a stereotypical spoilt brat youngest child and says that Diavolo obviously would’ve wanted a one on one day with MC. Beel says he knows and it’s another reason he wanted Belphie to go. Asmo agrees saying that after everything if MC chooses their boss over any one of the seven guys MC actually lives with it’d feel wrong. Asmo tells Belphie to keep an eye on them and not let it turn into a “whirlwind romance”, Belphie just asks for his pillow and Asmo’s upset cause he doesn’t feel confident about the plan now. Poor Diavolo being constantly cockblocked

On the way Belphie complains about being forced to do this when his schedule is just as busy but MC says all he does is sleep and he says because naps are important to him and he takes them seriously. He wishes he could go back home and asks why of all the demons he had to be stuck with Diavolo (so guess those issues are still around good to know). MC asks if he still dislikes Diavolo cause of his fondness for humans and Belphie says he’s fully gotten over that whole human genocide phase which is great to have confirmed. They ask why he dislikes Diavolo – lots of reasons. He always thinks he’s right and expects to get his way about anything and everything and never listens to anyone’s opinions. He hadn’t bothered to listen to Belphie back when the exchange program had been proposed and Belphie was against it (and I mean to be fair back then Belphie was 100% okay with killing the entire human race for no reason other than the fact that he blamed them for Lilith’s death when really they had nothing to do with it and it was definitely the angels’ fault. I mean I don’t think I would have listened to him either and he really does have the spoilt youngest kid personality. I think out of all the brother’s Belphie’s the one who has the fondest memories of the Celestial Realm – probably helped by the fact that Lilith was still alive then – which is why he never blamed them for what happened and instead directed all his anger at the humans) Lucifer hadn’t let Belphie plead his case (what case Belphie!? That all humans should die!?) and that Diavolo’s surrounded by demons like Barbatos and Lucifer who shield him from criticism (and yeah I agree that this is true and that it’s a bad thing but Lucifer wasn’t shielding Diavolo from criticism when he refused to let Belphie plead his case, he was protecting Belphie cause if Diavolo found out Belphie wanted to kill humans he would have thrown him in jail like he did back at the end of S1 and MC you dumb fuck can you pls tell all this to Belphie) and that Diavolo doesn’t understand that he’s been saved from criticism and Belphie hates that about him and he shudders at the thought of spending the day with Diavolo. On the way they run into Simeon and tell him where they’re going, he says Luke’s been wanting to go there since he saw a ad for it and MC says they could take Luke along with them but he says Luke’s at a cooking class today but that he’d probably love to hear about it when he gets back. Simeon then takes off saying he has a meeting. Belphie goes to call after Simeon to tell him something and catches a glimpse of the person Simeon was supposed to meet. He’s surprised and says “Is that…” and when MC asks what’s wrong he said he must have just imagined it and that the person Simeon was meeting just looked really familiar and HOLY SHITTTTTTT GUYSSS rfhiefjoSJKWDLDADJSJ was I right are we really gonna get to see angels???? That’s the only explanation, right? It would have had to be Michael or even Raphael and there’s only a few lessons left and this and the next lesson are probably gonna focus on Diavolo and Belphie’s relationship and following the patter MC should get their 6th star next lesson, then the two lessons after that will be their final exam for the 7th star and then the last two lessons will focus on saying goodbye as the brothers go back to the Devildom and all that’s gonna have a lot going on but if they’re teasing the angels being here now could they manage to slip them in or will that be too much? I mean they’ll be introducing a whole new (or two whole new) character(s) and ahhh I’m rambling but pls I need the tension and angst between them and the brothers ok I’m done.

When they get there Belphie complains about how crowded it is and MC tries to look for Diavolo to which Belphie points to a group of fangirls surrounding Diavolo. Diavolo answers them sweetly and one of them says he’s even better looking irl and another shyly asks if he wants to walk around with them. Belphie cuts that short by barging in and asking Diavolo what’s going on, Diavolo happily greets Diavolo and one of the girls realises that Belphie called Diavolo ‘lord’. Diavolo apologises to them and said he’s already made plans with friends (and ugh he’s so sweet I love him just wanna give him a big hug I bet he gives great hugs), the girls are very understanding and sweet about it and they leave. Belphie’s a lil shit and says “Aww, too bad, Lord Diavolo. I’d hate to interrupt just as they were hitting on you…” and Diavolo laughs it off saying it wasn’t like that (and can Diavolo not understand sarcasm or does he just ignore it? Both seem highly likely) Belphie disagrees and says they were clearly hitting on him and Diavolo changes the subject and says he can’t believe Belphie actually came, MC explains why and Diavolo says it’s understandable that Beel was worried after Belphie hadn’t left the house in a week (Me, who hasn’t left the house in almost a year: :’) ) Belphie says he knows Diavolo wanted a date with MC but too bad cause now Belphie’s gonna third wheel them. Diavolo tells Belphie not to be ridiculous and that he’s happy that Belphie came (and the thing is other than a small twinge of disappointment this is probably the truth). Belphie says that it probably won’t be a good idea to go around calling him “Lord” Diavolo given the way the girls reacted, Diavolo says he can just call him by his name since he wouldn’t mind but Belphie says he himself would mind and anyway if Lucifer or Barbatos found out Belphie wasn’t using his proper title they’d kill him. So Belphie suggests a nickname which Diavolo’s really happy about and MC suggests DD (they can also suggest John or Cap’n), Diavolo adores it and asks them to call him it all the time hereafter (I want to give him a hug so badly). Diavolo then happily and with lots of exclamation points goes on to say that it’s time to let their hair down and that Barbatos had made minute to minute schedule for them to follow so that they could enjoy the park to the fullest and Belphie says he wants to go home

Diavolo keeps unsuccessfully trying to get Belphie to wear a themed headband and take a group photo, saying he also wants to wear the headband on a boat ride and the ferris wheel. Diavolo gives MC sad puppy dog eyes (which I’m sure he uses successfully on Lucifer regularly, but that don’t affect Barbatos at all) and MC can’t refuse, asking Belphie if there’s anything that’ll get him to change his mind. He says no but he’s not stopping the others from doing it, Diavolo says since they’re here as a group they all should do it, Belphie snaps saying he doesn’t like how Diavolo’s using MC as a tool to bend Belphie to his will and he says he’s going home. Diavolo tries to stop him but he marches off and Diavolo drags MC off to chase after Belphie. Diavolo grabs Belphie by the arm outside the park and begs for a chance to apologize, Belphie denies it and tries to free his arm. Diavolo refuses to let him go saying he should have listened to and considered Belphie’s opinions now as well as in the past, Belphie’s shocked and MC asks Belphie to just hear Diavolo out. He agrees but tells them not to have any expectations of what this’ll accomplish.

Belphie says he doesn’t want to wear the headband or take pics and that he’s only gonna ride what he wants to, Diavolo agrees with all that. He asks if Belphie will stay with them and Belphie agrees and Diavolo is just so brightly stupidly happy and I can completely understand how he was able to make Lucifer question his entire world view. Diavolo’s so happy he starts waving Belphie’s arm around unconsciously and then asks Belphie what rides he wants to go on as they make their way back inside, Belphie doesn’t answer instead he’s blushing and annoyed and asks Diavolo to let go of his hand. Belphie wants to ride ‘The Twisting Freefall of Death II’, MC & Diavolo would like to not freefall to their death thank you very much. Belphie quotes the ride as being, “the single most terrifying experience in the world where you’ll scream for mercy and receive none” Diavolo says, “Did you say scream for mercy…” Belphie happily agrees. Diavolo turns to his last hope, MC, and asks how they feel about this. I like to imagine that even MC has a line where their lacking self-preservation will kick in. Belphie just smiles saying it won’t actually kill them (this would have been more reassuring coming from someone who didn’t once murder MC but whatever.) They can also ask Diavolo how feels about it. After the ride Belphie’s cackling loudly and gushing about how great it was. He’s especially happy about the look on Diavolo’s face during the ride, saying he’s never seen it before (probably the look of a demon praying to God for mercy). MC can say that Belphie seemed to be having a lot of fun, cheer how the ride was the best or say they thought they were going to die. For the 3rd option Belphie very cheerfully says MC’s alive and ok. Belphie asks Diavolo how it was only to realise Diavolo’s missing. He fell off the ride at its highest peak. He’s dead.

They’ve tried texting Diavolo but he doesn’t read them. Belphie wonders what kind of person actually gets lost in an amusement park unless they’re 5. Then he says “…is that what it is? Is he actually 5 yrs old?” He remembers that mammon got lost in a park once too and says the only thing the two of them have in common is that they’re both basically children, They then run into my favourite character in the entire game – the butcher (is2g this man needs to become a recurring side character) who is here with his wife and daughter. He asks them if the rest of the harem is here too and Belphie lets him know that unfortunately they’re here with a new inductee who got lost. The butcher offers to help and asks for a description. MC says he’s the owner of the corvo hotel chain and the butcher wonders who the fuck are these people in the first place to know someone like that and then because the butcher’s the sweetest person alive he too starts worrying about diavolo, scared that he might have gotten kidnapped. Belphie says “there’s no one in the human world oh shit I mean THE WORLD. THE NORMAL WORLD ALL US HUMANS - BECAUSE WE ALL ARE HUMANS - LIVE IN” the butcher now probably used to how weird this cult is (because they definitely are a satanic cult with their extremely obvious demon names, how weird and unused to normal life they are, 7 of them being obviously infatuated by the eighth one but the butcher’s not gonna bring this up cause with the amount of meat they buy from him he could keep his family afloat for years AND pay for his daughters college tuition) ignores this and says he hasn’t seen Diavolo but advices them to check the information desk and ask them to page Diavolo over the loudspeakers. They thank him and Belphie promises to stop by with Beel later, the butcher says he’ll see him then and tells them to take care (I love this man). Barbatos text MC asking how they’re doing and which itinerary of his they’re following cause yes apparently he made more than one and telling them he trusts them to take care of diavolo (and I can’t believe it took me this long to realise Barbatos is a helicopter parent). MC leaves him on read. Lucifer then texts them saying Satan told him where they’d gone and telling them that since the two of them are with Diavolo he assumes he’s okay but just to clarify make sure nothing happens to Diavolo. MC leaves him on read. Belphie says that Barbatos and Lucifer are way too overprotective. Barbatos and MC then realise how fucked they are if either of them find out that they’ve lost diavolo and so decide to skip the whole loudspeaker thing.

They can decide if they want to check by the lake, the ferris wheel or the last ride they went in. He’s not at the lake and they choose to take a boat across the lake to get to the ferris wheel cause it’s faster than going around it. Belphie actually enjoys the boat ride and asks if the two of them can just enjoy themselves together for a bit instead of looking for Diavolo, MC says “I’m worried about Diavolo also can you not remember how fucked we are if we don’t find him”. Belphie gets jealous that MC seems to care more about Diavolo than him (they’re just been practical! If the roles were reversed they’d have shut Diavolo down to look for you!) and says that even they have a real soft spot for Diavolo (He’s like a giant golden retriever!!).  There’s an announcement over the loudspeaker for MC and ‘Snoozy’ saying that DD’s waiting for them at the info desk. Belphie’s not happy about ‘snoozy’ (understandable)

Results: Choices LI Survey 2021

Hi guys! Thanks so much for all the support and responses I’ve got from this survey x 

I started this survey because I am attempting to romance Bryce, Rafael, Aurora and Ethan (in order of preference) in Open Heart, which has become increasingly difficult and very expensive! I wanted to see if anyone was doing the same thing as me, so I made this survey.

Overall, its pretty clear that I’m way in the minority with the whole romancing the entire friendship group thing. Maybe that’s for the best! But, still us serial romancers like to stick to our guns and romance the same amount of LIs across all three books, so uhh, go us?

(side note: I’m also very glad ES won as the best LI layout as it’s 100% my favourite book. all lovers of ES say aye!)

I am not a member of the ace community, and I would much rather hand the microphone to someone who is when responding to this, but I’ll explain my reasoning. I included asexual as a category because aces are still often very much interested in romance. To qualify as an LI in this study, I decided you hand to have a history with flirting with each other (diamond scenes often only go to canon-LIs and so eradicate Aurora, June and others as objective LIs), but I made sure people were free to enter any names they wanted to. There have been LIs we have not had 16+ times with, like Kyra and Aurora. Therefore, they to some extent could have been asexual, but we don’t know for sure. Therefore, Asexuals would still make great LIs!

Speaking of asexuality, can we all agree that this should be an option for all MCs? why should we have to be interested in one LI in a book? especially when some of them are so bland. by not including an ace option, pixelberry is pretty much disregarding ace/aro existence.

Pixelberry, if y’all needed a bigger sign to increase LI minority representation, you’re looking at it.

Of course, minority representation (especially in lis) would be amazing, but pb has to work on giving all lis equal screentime/diamond choices as well.’ - Yes anon! From romancing 4 people in OH it’s super obvious to me how biased screen time is towards white-passing male LIs, when POCs and members of other minorities seem more interesting as LIs! both equalling screen time and increasing representation is a must for later Choices books.

Anyway, this has been a super long post, and it’s only my 4th post on tumblr lol.

I’ve really enjoyed the process of this survey, and how accepting the choices community has been to me! If anyone (seriously, just one) wants me to, i am happy to do similar survey on any topic requested (I’m thinking a POC survey looking at how many people romance POC LIs and why). 

I’ll try over the next couple days to share these results on as many platforms as possible, so everyone who responded can see it. So, any signal boosts, shares, discussions, replies etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Hello hello - first of all when I said I was getting hate i 100% NEVER mean things like this. Respectful disagreement is important and fun. I’m literally a lawyer I promise to never be offended by stuff like this lol. I just kinda dipped out of my own messages for a while because I was over it.

Overall, I think the crux of everything I say with Neris is just the ✨fantasy✨ we don’t know what Eris would be like or how he would behave and we are annoyed with Cassian. The MAJOR issue I would say is that pretty much all of the good things Cassian did or affection he showed was before ACOSF and then he spent like half of THEIR BOOK being, if I may say so, a little bitch. He just never defended her until she started doing what he wanted essentially. I don’t think Cassian didn’t care. I think it’s clear he always cared and always wanted Nesta - but it’s the fact that this book was SO anticipated and we were waiting for a healing journey but it ended up being a drill sergeant. Annoyance with Cassian is kind of caked into annoyance with all of ACOSF, in my opinion. I’m not necessarily defending Eris and I don’t actually canon ship this couple, I’m more just explaining where the Neris shipping comes from in my opinion. Cassian was a total simp pre-ACOSF and we fell in love with that. There was the original tension of “calling her out” (eyeroll) but then his whole story was basically longing for and being the only one who understood Nesta. So the combo of the Cassian who actually understood Nesta being nowhere in site and this powerful sexy man being into Nesta and no questions asked wanting her … which was basically EXACTLY what we were all expecting from Cassian just amped everything up to a thousand. We were expecting pained sad boi longing as they healed together and instead we got forced into a house and “everyone hates you” and I think the collective attitude was well if she’s going to not have that epic love story then at least get her away from the IC and make her in charge of a Court thx. That was my mindset anyway. Again, I don’t think it’s actually where anyone felt the narrative going and it’s an over simplification but it was born from a lot of anger over a lot of different issues and character hypocrisies.

Also, to be clear, the Klaroline comparison was genre based only. Just the idea that an enemy becoming obsessed with one of the “good guys” and putting her first while her “boyfriend” is putting others before her is a very sexy vibe that we are all susceptible to. I do hate comparing Cassian to Tyler even a tiny bit … but yknow what if the growling and alpha male complex fit …

Their in the soop conversation to me isn’t proof that taekook isn’t real. That conversation seemed so weird to me. Not what they spoke of but just the conversation being aired period. Maybe there were some inklings of truth to what they spoke of but I think that was a staged talk for the most part. Just because a lot of TaeKook were not shown in official content in the past couple years doesn’t mean they weren’t close. Now the reason why Big Hit didn’t have a lot of TaeKook moments may have been to protect TaeKook (I don’t see any other reason why they wouldn’t promote one of their most popular ships and make money, just my opinion though).

To me personally, JK and V’s conversation was a strategic move by Big Hit to be able to show more TaeKook content going forward. I really think something like that was discussed when they were renewing their contracts. To be allowed a little more freedom between them. It would be weird if after not showing much content all of a sudden TaeKook are so close, so I feel like that was the purpose of that talk. To let fans know everything is “good now” and they shouldn’t be shocked to see them glued to the hips and being touchy with each.

Again, this is just my personal opinion. No hate to anybody that doesn’t agree. I am happy to see all the TaeKook moments that have been shown after that talk. So regardless if some people use that against TaeKook, I am grateful for it lol.

Is TaeKook real?? The world may never know until they come out and say so. Until then, let’s just all have fun speculating and enjoying all the boys’ interactions. Thank you for reading my rambling lol.

I‘m answering late but i had this in the back of my mind constantly, since i think it‘s a very interesting topic and i have a lot of thoughts.

I do think their convo had a true core (what i explained in my post about the episode in general and FESTA) but the fact that this was something shown to an audience, should stay present in our mind.

I also do think that Taehyungs problem with his distant behavior was real and Jungkooks advice was earnest.

But I see it like this: In the Soop is an entertainment format that is supposed to be calming/authentic/natural and approachable. It‘s supposed to give us a sense of „ah, so this is what they are like when they have free time and do what they want! This is what their actual relationships look like! This is how they talk to each other casually without pressure and entertainment purpose“ Because this is something that BTS Fans like about them: Their authenticity and the relationship they have. So they gave us a format we might enjoy. It‘s similar to Bon Voyage, but Bon Voyage has clear entertainment schedules and serves a different purpose.

But if you put BTS together, a group who have simply known each other for years, you don‘t see them fight or have deep talks all of a sudden and even less if it’s just a week and while shooting something for an audience. And even if something was up they probably would think „ah, we should talk about this when the shooting is over.“ Pretty sure you wouldn‘t choose an entertainment format for private matters, right? Even less if you are a professional (and BTS are professionals).

So in my opinion their talk was deliberately included, ergo planned, ergo not 100% a good representation of how they would usually go about this and this talk served a purpose. The purpose of „look, they are close so they have deep talks and care about their friendship“. And that‘s why i don‘t give this whole thing too much weight, even less if it‘s to say anything about their relationship really. I even think it wasn‘t important that it was Tae & JK. This could have also ben JK&Jimin or Yoongi&Hobi.

Now, i’m saying this while knowing this is my personal opinion and in no way a fact…you can disagree (and a lot of you probably will to some extent because i‘m deromanticizing the whole thing a bit 😬 or simply because you have a different view on the matter) and that‘s fine with me.

The other implications of what was the motivation of BH/HYBE to have them talk about this stuff… i won‘t go into that because i really don‘t know. It could be everything and nothing.

If we blame BH or HYBE for deliberately cutting moments or choosing other pairs for content, we should know it‘s still possible that Taehyung and Jungkook actually asked for it. I think sometimes we forget in what kind of position they are in. And it doesn‘t matter if they are just friends or secretly romantically involved - if you get this much attention (and as the most popular pair, they trend if they only sit together and breathe) it can make you conscious and uncomfortable if people are so focused on you. And what we do know is that they like to keep things private. They don‘t share when they go out or spend time. They only sometimes let it slip or you can guess by the amount of info they have on each other.

It could also have been coincidental and we are simply too biased and over-sensitized when it comes to the amount of interaction/screen time/ promo we get.

I know some of you will think „that doesn‘t seem very likely“ but it‘s still a possibility and as long as we don‘t actually have facts on this matter, it‘s important to stay open minded. :)

There absolutely has to be a bath. For once, nothing erotic, nothing special going down, just a tiny bathtub, Julian's leg hanging out while the other one is hooked with his s/o's limbs. A few tons of bubbles and steam rising from the water while they lean back against him, closing their eyes. Julian's fingers brushing through their hair, entangling the half-wet, half-dry stands while he talks about something random like that it's called a "murder" of crows. He'll make sure to scoop some water up and pour it over their shoulder and arms that stick out from the wet, so they don't get cold, rubbing some to the back of his neck too. And if they let him, he'll kiss along their arm and shoulder, savoring the indulgence of his affection. Both of them take deep breaths when their muscles relax finally, the bubbles disappearing, so his s/o gets out to get the towels, but not before kissing him a few times goodbye once they are outside. Julian will return the favor when they give him his own towel once he got out, just as a way to say 'thank you'

At least once a day, there has to be a great meal, and what is better than breakfast? By the time they make it, it's probably more like brunch or lunch, but they are unbothered by that. Going outside for groceries, taking on no responsibilities about people's worries that day, they just chat with their longtime friends that they barely see on the regular, buying some bread, eggs, and fresh meat or fish. Some more apples - on the doctor's recommendation - in their basket and then they stroll back towards home, hand in hand, swinging their arms back and forth and waving if they meet anyone. Finally back home, they'll stand in the kitchen together, preparing everything. Julian will try to show them a cool knife trick to use on apples, but the apple slips, and he struggles not to let it fall down instead, earning him more admiration than the trick once he catches it. They'll be really impressed though how good he is at peeling the apple, and he'll tell them some stories from his pirate days. Spoiler: He had to peel a lot of potatoes back then. He has a habit of popping up behind them when they cook, holding their hip in his hands while he lurks over their shoulder, complementing the food and waiting to be fed some with open mouth. Once he is munching on some, he'll be going down on his knees to let them know how delicious it is

For two people with great knowledge, there is very few times spent reading. It varies what the two like, and even if this is their relaxation day, if they love their field of work and want to read up on new theories and publications, this is the right time to do so. No one is going to judge the other one if they want to read something completely different though either. Even if they are situated next to each other, they follow their own paces, turn over, lay down, and sit apart as much as they want, either of them getting up to get some tea or water, bringing back a glass for their partner too. Sometimes, they might speak up, needing to tell the other about the passage they just read, but they are both respectful and letting the other find a good place to pause before they have their full attention. It sometimes leads to interesting discussions from two completely different views on the matter, and they rarely have to agree to disagree as they just offer each other various concepts before kissing and going back to their respective books. Sometimes, Julian's hand finds their free one for a page or two, holding on their wrist and rubbing his thumb over their skin lovingly before they signal him they need to use both hands again. It's unlikely that they will end up cuddling with the books in the way, but there's quite some butt to butt contact in the few hours, and they wouldn't want it any other way

Of course, there's always the possibility for them to stay home that evening, but knowing Julian, he'd love to take them out somewhere to dine and dance, just the two of them. Some days they'll visit their friends or invite them over for dinner, but it's a rare opportunity to have the time to themselves and go out on the dates they miss in their busy days. He'll find them a nice place that he knows serves food his s/o like and either has a band playing there or take them on an evening stroll and find a street band for them to dance along to. Julian couldn't care less about who sees, he is just so in love with how they sway from side to side, their eyes sparkling in the lights around them. Their fingers intertwined with his and their giggles when he turns them over. No matter what the band is playing and how good they are in the steps of the dance they are trying, he'll make an excellent effort to lead the way and in the first place, make it enjoyable for the two of them. It doesn't need a dance degree to have fun, and if they laugh and move their feet, that's enough for him

Wronged as a child, betrayed by his God, he began a 1000 year crusade to infiltrate a holy army and kill God. Along the way he takes names and kicks ass, while balancing the burden of his secret goal and cultural obligation to aid his kind. 

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).  —  The dude held a grudge for a 1000 years, pushed away the only person who cared about him, and then whined that he was betrayed. An ego bigger than his eccentric hair, he’s twice as obnoxious as he is loud.

What inspired you to rp your muse?  —  How dare you make me admit my secret shame.. When Bazz-B was first revealed in the manga, I snagged him in the group I was RPing in. Grimmjow was already so popular, and a lot of writers I looked up to were writing him, so there’s no way I was trying my hand at that. But this new fella reminded me of a Quincy Grimmjow. I WAS VERY WRONG AND I’M GLAD I WAS BUT THAT’S MY SHAMEFUL ORIGIN STORY.

What keeps your inspiration going?  —  I think it’s stupid how much I love Bazz-B. I went away for a while due to health reasons, but I never stopped loving him. Fleshing out everything that could have been, should have been, is and was-- any opportunity to talk about this man reignites my passion for him.

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?  —  I'd definitely be interested. Headcanons, I think, pertain to each persons portrayal, so if someone disagrees they must believe it’s inherently out of character. I’d love to discuss that!

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?  —  I’d love to discuss that EVEN MORE THAN HEADCANONS. If someone thinks Bazz-B should be behaving differently, or acting differently in scenarios, I’d love to listen to why. If anyone loves Bazz-B and has thoughts you come to me, you sit me down and I will listen so raptly you’ll think I’ve frozen in time.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?  —  To each their own! I know a lot of people aren’t a fan of Bazz-B, he’s very in your face, and I know a lot of the stoic characters are super popular. Wont make me love him any less.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?  —  Oh God, please do. My biggest peeve is when I repeat words too often. Be my little microsoft word paperclip!!

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?   —  I think I’m terrible at continuing out of character conversations, as I’m always worried I’m bugging people, but other than that I am very easy. Unless you say “I wish to offend you” I’ll naturally assume you’re not trying to offend me. We all come across differently, I just assume everyone is here to have a good time.
