One weird take I've seen after downfall is that the solution to the whole gods issue could be tying the divine gate to the cage around Predathos. That if the gods break through to Exandria, they are dooming themselves.

Now, this seems okay on a surface level. But its actually just as insane as going "we should just release predathos and kill all the gods". Because, like, this is just mutually assured destruction, ya'll. And that doesn't work???? There's a reason why nuclear disarmarment is an important thing in real life.

If the gods come to Exandria and wreck the place, then at least there's a chance of coming back from it. We've seen this with calamity! Exandria lived through it! If Predathos is released, Exandria isn't gonna live through it! It's done. It's over. We're screwed.

Like, lets say the divine gate is tied to predathos' cage. What if the Betrayers managed some way to break it down and were just like "actually we do want to die." What would happen then??? Predathos just gets to eat up everybody???

Mutually assured destruction doesn't work!!! More nukes doesn't stop people from nuking each other! It just makes the end of the world more likely! Please think people.

Reading loz/lu fics and it's just so interesting how wide the spectrum is of their personalities.

Sometimes it's got an in universe reason (different past (usually gender or species change), recent or ongoing traumatic events, a spectacularly bad first meeting), but sometimes (often) the characters are just... Weirdly angsty or peppy, there's no in between!

And I'm beginning to think less people have played more than one game than I thought XD.

Not that it's anyone's fault! One game is more than enough to be part of it all, and loz is exclusive to Nintendo consoles - and all the older stuff is frustratingly hard to get hold of. Heck, I'm still looking for wind waker, and that was really popular! And then you have to play it! They're not small games!!

But could people writing wild please ease off just a tiiiiiny bit so he can be a semi functional member of society pretty please XD? He's just as much a polite boy as any other member of the chain! Rey, who is in my very biased opinion, one of the funniest "girls" I have because she's just a guy, truly. Like Rey is just short for Reynold because he was recruited by a a goddess to help the hero she selected and the hero is conveniently Reynold's younger brother. So he agrees to help under the condition that the goddess gives him a female body for the other world. She's like "really odd flex but whatever" and gives him a female form and he's like "you know. I can't really blame anyone but myself for not specifying 'please don't turn me into a Lisa Frank personification'."

I just sincerely hate when people try to girlboss her or have her be a victim of SA when she never was Looking at you, Miller. Especially when she was actually the one who coerced Odysseus in exchange for his men being transformed back into humans. And even then, while he was clearly afraid of her, (it's in the language of the Odyssey) she likely meant him no harm after a certain point. He just didn't know that.

Why does she need a reason to do awful things? Why can't she just be a goddess who does whatever she wants? That's the reason why I love her!!! She's fucked up!!! :D

I'm at the part when he had a really confusing nightmare and now he's spiraling. Old Moon said some really messed up stuff to him too and that's helping his spiral. I really didn't like how Old Moon told New Moon to die for his family. Old Moon also said Sun would try to die for the family but Sun doesn't really act like he has a death wish? Like I think a lot of ppl don't understand Sun. Also, Old Moon.... technically speaking not only is New Moon your legacy but he's in a way like your wish child? You wished to be a better brother and in a way New Moon inherited that. Idk I also feel like that dark Sun fellow is really targeting New Moon?

I am also sad at the lack of Sun. He shows up every now and again but he's barely present in the 3 shows I'm currently watching. Where's my boy?

With LAES lore I'm now at the part when Earth is kind of having to decide if the Creator is a liar. I think it's actually so understandable that Earth is struggling to accept the fact her dad is a chump. Lunar getting frustrated by the training and getting no answers is also neat. The episode where Solar and Lunar made a device to help Lunar with his mind power was so sad and so sweet. I didn't expect Solar's mind to look like the tv kid moment from the Tim Burton Willy Wonka (I love that movie and knew right away).

I feel like Solar himself is in a lot of weird denial. Like, is it just me to be bugged by how he describes his Sun and how little he mentions his moon? Isn't it canon that he watched his Moon basically die twice? (When he met Lunar way back when he told Lunar about his Moon disintegrating from removing KC?) but back to his Sun..."he knew the consequences" bro that's all you have to say? A homie died for you and you can't even say one nice thing about him? I think it's just Solar avoiding his grief like 1000% but I swear it's so disrespectful. You love him and he loved you just say something nice about him.

It's so odd to watch old episodes to get caught up to the eps I'm at in the other shows cause I know Solar dies and I know what Ruin does, so it is bittersweet to see one alive and the other one sinless respectively. Puppet on site kidnapping Ruin for their podcast was so funny.

I'm still on the fence with Earth giving people 'Therapy'... Like on one hand she's giving her family a place to be more open and vulnerable free of judgement but I'm also just like not sure if she should be the one to do it? Like, her therapy protocols as far as we know are ones the Creator taught her 'on a whim'. Can we even trust the things she was taught were legit?
