I like to imagine there’s at least one huge nerd at kamiyama in their third year and they’re always studying to get the best grades like really hitting the books & taking classes outside of school but they continually get the second highest scores and they’re seething with rage about it because the only person outdoing them academically is that purple fuck who never pays attention in class, is put in detention every week for blowing shit up and brings his whimsical ass gadgets to school. & he doesn’t even care about his status as the most academically talented kid in the grade. They’re planning on going into medical school or some other STEM field and he’s going into the arts.

in an effort to Be More Human i made the decision to say yes to the next social thing i was potentially invited to. so now this next weekend one of the neighbors will be bringing his new puppy over to the other neighbors’ house for some sort of Backyard Do and because these neighbors all know me, but have only occasionally spotted me like a bigfoot in the blurry distance of their lives, i was like oh, i should make a good impression. so i bought a toy and a treat for the puppy, bc giving someone’s kid a gift is like a instant way to make them like you, right? im so very normal right now. im doing so good at being a normal person.

Re: posting your ko-fi or whatever on AO3 (don’t do it), I’m lucky that I’ve never been in a position where I needed to crowdfund my rent (I’ve been broke, even for extended periods, but never zero dollars broke), but also, if you accept money for fanfic, you’re opening yourself up to so much legal trouble.  Fan art is just different and that sucks for those of us who can’t draw, but that’s how it works. 

Anyway, you’ve never seen a leiascully ko-fi and I hope you never will.  I do this for the love of my blorbos and for kudos.  When I write an original book, you can buy that :)
