Hello! I was wondering what company you use for your sticker sheets? I bough one from your Ko-Fi shop and really like the quality, and the pricing you were able to sell at is waaaaaay more reasonable compared to any of the companies I've seen and used myself. Is it a POD company, or a mass purchase of them to sell on your own?
Thank you for your time if you're able to respond!
I'm really glad you like the quality, because I actually make them by hand at home! (Please forgive the lighting, my bedroom is my office lmao.)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/8dcda4dca50014b2f4dc5e3798ea7e6b/a0f5e4d2c9b9bfb7-51/s540x810/f38c3114e65710ff22dfb02fb730df9dea824c66.jpg)
I don't use a company (and Idk what a POD company is sorry!) but making them at home gives a lot more freedom of stock, just be wary it can be very time consuming depending on how many you need to make.
I've had other people ask before, so here's a rundown of how I make my stickers at home: At most you'll need:
Printer
Sticker paper (this is the type that I use)
Laminator and lamination paper (the lamination paper that I use.) You can also use adhesive non-heat lamination paper if you don't have a laminator, gives you the same result, just be careful of bubbles. You will get double your worth out of a pack because we are splitting the pouches to cover two sticker sheets.
Your choice of a sticker cutting machine or just using scissors.
First, I use Cricut's software to print out the sticker sheet with the guidelines around the corners so the machine can read it. If you do NOT have a Cricut machine, open up your art program, make a canvas of 2550x3300 and fill it up with your sticker design with some cutting space between them. This the 8.5x11 size for the sticker page.
I usually have bleed selected so the cut comes out cleaner. Tip for non-Cricut users below: Increase the border around your sticker design to fake the 'bleed' effect for a cleaner cut.
These are the print settings I use for my printer. I use the 'use system dialogue' to make sure I can adjust the settings otherwise it prints out low quality by default. Make sure if you're using the above paper that you have 'matte' selected, and 'best quality' selected, these aren't usually selected by default.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/58888bc95b69b30cf3abbb81fd7274e6/a0f5e4d2c9b9bfb7-09/s540x810/d0a40e2f53d3288b345b7bbda1a53aa5c3b6d941.jpg)
So you have your sticker sheet printed! Next is the lamination part. I use a hot laminator that was gifted to me, but there is no-heat types of lamination you can peel and stick on yourself if that's not an option.
(This is for protection and makes the colors pop, but if you prefer your stickers matte, you can skip to the cutting process.)
Important for Cricut users or those planning to get a Cricut: You're going to cut the lamination page to cover the stickers while also not covering the guidelines in the corners. First, take your lamination page and lay it over the sheet, take marker/pen and mark were the edges of your stickers are, and cut off the excess:
(I save the scrap to use for smaller stickers or bonuses later on)
After you've cut out your lamination rectangle, separate the two layers and lay one down on your sticker sheet over your stickers with matte side down, shiny side up. (Save the other sheet for another sticker page)
The gloss of the lamination will prevent the machine from reading the guidelines, so be careful not to lay it over them. It also helps to cut the corners afterwards to prevent accidentally interfering with the guidelines.
Now put that bad boy in the laminator! (Or self seal if you are using non-heat adhesive lamination)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/142998382cd4c4cc1a417333fe0e3482/a0f5e4d2c9b9bfb7-ea/s540x810/698ae59bba75c498d24ffc506fd1aac8d958bb62.jpg)
Congrats! You now have a laminated page full of stickers.
For non-cricut/folks cutting them out by hand: this is the part where you start going ham on the page with scisscors. Have fun~
Cutting machine: I put the page on a cutting mat and keep it aligned in the corner, and feed it into the machine. For laminated pages I go between 'cardstock' and 'poster board' so that it cuts all the way through without any issues, but for non-laminated pages or thinner pages, I stick for 'vinyl' and 'light card stock'. Kinda test around.
Now I smash that go button:
You have a sticker now!
The pros of making stickers at home is that you save some cost, and you have more control of your stock and how soon you can make new designs. (I can't really afford to factory produce my stickers anyway)
However, this can be a very time consuming, tedious process especially if you have to make a lot of them. There is also a LOT chance for some errors (misprints, miscuts, lamination bubbles, ect) that will leave you with B-grade or otherwise not-so-perfect or damaged stickers. (Little note, if you have page mess up in printing and can't be fed into the cricut machine, you can still laminate it and cut it out by hand too.)
I have to do a lot of sticker cutting by hand, so if you don't have a cricut don't stress too much about it. I have an entire drawer filled to the top of miscuts/misprints. I keep them because I don't want to be wasteful, so maybe one day they'll find another home. Sucks for my hand though.
But yeah! This is how I make my stickers at home! Hope this is helpful to anyone curious

I'm going to a post full details under the cut, but a short run down:
I've sort of vaguely mentioned this here and there but this year I'm forcing myself to go on a long hiatus. Its been something in the plans for years now, but I can't put it off any longer because 2024 was the worst wrist pain I've dealt with and I don't want to risk permanently damaging myself if I haven't already.
If you're waiting on a comm, don't worry! My hiatus won't officially start until I've finished them all up (estimating April-May to finish up everything), so just bare with me!
Character Sheet comms are staying open
If you're able and willing to support me during this break, please check out my shops or my Patreon!
Ko-Fi - Physical/Digital Merch + Donations
INPRNT - Physical Prints
Patreon - Process Videos and WiPs
Full details and extra info under the cut
So this has been a long time coming but this year I’ll be taking a long hiatus. This is something I’ve wanted to do for years but I can’t put it off any longer due to how bad my wrist pain was in 2024. I’m feeling incredibly burnt out as well and my turn around times growing longer and longer is a very clear sign of it. It also means I’ve had a growing anxiety that if I continue at this pace I will end up doing permanent damage to my body, if I haven’t already. Creating art is the one thing I know I want to do for the rest of my life, be that drawing for myself or helping other people see their visions come to life, and I don’t want to put that at risk.
So I can’t put my hiatus off any longer and I’m making this year the start. If you are still waiting on a commission from me, don’t worry! I am going to keep working on them and my official hiatus time won’t start until everything has been finished up. I’m estimating April to May to get everything cleared off the table since I’m going to work at a steady pace. Character sheet commissions are going to remain open, they are not in high demand and I can put them in a queue and so should anyone have interest in one during my hiatus, it could be something I pick up when I need the extra cash. However all other types of commissions are going to be unavailable for the foreseeable future.
I am aiming for a 6 month long hiatus at the least. If I can go longer I will aim for a full year break. Freelance and commission work has been my main source of income for over 10 years now, so during this time I may also look into getting a part time job so I don't have to rely so heavily on art, which will also affect how much I’ll be able to take on in the future. I’m not quitting art during this hiatus, I do want to keep drawing and creating! But I will be working at a slower pace, creating for myself, experimenting and trying other projects. I also have more merch ideas on the list to work on! I’ve got some plush designs I want to have made, namely a new Zenos plush that will have doll fiber hair that can be brushed and styled.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/ae183035af63ba15d7a4e16711cf0c30/baba7fd79e6d4994-d4/s540x810/d0a3de0478645f9b6e9db4c5837d33daaa2a9e22.jpg)
I will also design more tag style keychains with more XIV characters (like the Scions and other major NPCs), since people have really liked those a lot! I’ll also plan out some other ideas and maybe design some original design plushies or other merch. We’ll see!
If anyone enjoys my work and wants to help support me during my hiatus, please check out my available merch. I have prints on INPRNT, and a variety of items on Ko-Fi (limited prints, artbooks both physical and digital, keychains, stickers, etc.), I also have a patreon where I post process videos of illustrations. You can also drop donations of my Ko-Fi. I will be adding a goal that I’ll set at a high amount I don't expect to reach, just because I personally want a visual of donations or purchases during my break. Even small donations would mean a lot. If only 10% of my followers on twitter or tumblr bought a single Ko-Fi donation, it would be a substantial amount of money. I say this not to guilt folks into donating, but to point out small donations can still have a lot of power. And so I appreciate any support at all!
Thank you so much if you read this entire message. It means a lot to me and I hope a good long break means when I’m able to get back to commission and freelance I’ll approach them with much more vigor and skill!

Last question I've got for you, has there ever been a reason why there isn't more continuously-available Epithet merch on Creator Spring? It's always struck me as odd that you haven't gone for more stuff like shirts, stickers, and buttons.
The honest answer to this is that I just do not like merch.
I'm a really environmentally-conscious person and frankly there just aren't a lot of merch options out there that aren't objectively kind of bad for the environment. Even t-shirts and plushies are pretty dicey in the long-run due to textile waste.
Print-on-demand services have a lighter carbon footprint, but they're usually poor quality. I don't mind Spring for posters or prints, but their t-shirts feel cheap. I don't like wearing them myself, so I don't want to promote them to other people. It makes me feel like I'm lying to my fans or trying to rip them off. One-time campaigns like the dolls are fine, but they are, by nature, one-and-done.
You might not know this if you haven't been A Content Creator(tm) in a post-2020 world, but we get emails and offers from all these horrible companies literally nonstop asking for merch opportunities. I got six today alone. There's a huge subculture of scummy merch providers who can't wait to help you rip off as many people as possible. It's poisoned my opinions on merch even more.
Additionally, merch is exhausting to promote. Every single campaign is 5-7 days of emailing and planning minimum and then a little dedicated promotional video. "Well, you don't have to make a video Jello". Oh yeah I do. People miss these things even when I do promote them. If their only heads up is a tweet or an email from the website subscription letter, nobody's going to buy them, and that usually means a failed campaign if if I have to hit a threshold.
It's worth mentioning that "the Epithet team" is just me. I'm the one guy who has to oversee literally everything. And if I'm having trouble keeping official print runs of the actual book on store shelves, which I am right now, I don't feel like it's a good use of my time to start selling extra stuff while the series languishes.
The only piece of merch I've ever made that I thought was pretty cool was the Molly hoodies because they were interesting and custom made. The dolls are okay.
I'd like to release a blu-ray set for Epithet some time in the future so people can have a physical version of the media. Other than that, I'm hesitant. I know people want more merch. I just hate making it.

How about some of yall who are sending these asks about how to unpack your own fatphobia pay this creator for their labor. Their shop has cool merch that shows support to the fat community. Or just send them a tip.
And to you I hope you're taking care of yourself. I know it can be rough to hear this stuff all the time.
thank you so much 🙏
the best way to compensate me for my labor is through my ko-fi page! I plan to do a lot more with it soon, like post exclusive essays and offer art commissions and editorials, but for now it's just a nice place to tip me.
I'm planning on moving my redbubble shop over to ko-fi as well, since redbubble only gives me a few cents for each sale I make. I might as well just order sticker prints and mail them myself for the same price.
or, if you're feeling like you wanna help out with some mutual aid, my beloved partner could really use it right now. his gofundme is linked below. thank you, sending my love 💕

Do you have any platform where you sell your art other than Ko-fi? Or do you plan on getting more on your Ko-fi? I don't often trip over myself for someone's art but your style is really fascinating. Anyway, probably gonna go get the wonder dragon stickers. Thanks!
omg ;_; I'm so honored to hear that. Thank you!!!
Yes Ko-fi is the only place right now (outside of inprnt if you'd like prints for example). But I definitely plan to add more things soon c:
Things I'm currently finishing up: Spring dragon stickers, a tiny cat zine, and a Caspar David Friedrich zine. I'm also planning to add the leftover Kickstarter pins + postcards once I finish mailing them out to the original backers.
I'll be out of the country for 3 months starting March, I really hope i can put those up before then. And then hope to work on even more lil projects when I get back home too : D

Hi everynyan,
Some of you will remember that I was taking names/addresses to send out free stickers in September. I am almost done sending them out now, so here's a quick update on that.
The Good!
I like this a lot! It's fun to do. For reference, I'm printing, laminating, and cutting these myself at home, so I'm learning a lot about my machine. I like being in charge of the quality control, I like doing the logistic work. Idk. It's fulfilling to me.
It's also really delightful to see names on the list who I've known of for a long time. Old and new faces, people all over the world, I love seeing people adopt a catgirl. :3 And for free! I'm by no means making a lot, but being able to provide something fun and physical to the people who enjoy my art for free is just! Wow!
The Bad!
Everything that could have gone wrong during this process did, which is why they're going out so late. The at-home manufacturing process was relatively simple but the materials kept being funky, or I'd do something wrong, so I'd have to toss something that I'd completely fucked up, OR I'd just miscount how much stuff material I had left. It's been a pain in the butt, so I'm glad it's done and that I've learned so much from it. I ALMOST FORGOT, I DESTROYED ONE CUTTING MAT MAKING THAT ROGER STANDEE FOR MY WEDDING LOL SO I HAD TO SPEND TIME CONDITIONING THE NEW CUTTING MAT! UGH!
There's also: the money. I know it's gauche to talk about it, but doing this was pretty expensive. I live in Canada now, and most of the letters were going out of Canada, so that postage added up. Materials cost, time, it's a pretty good chunk of change, but I didn't go broke so I want to do it again.
The Other?
I definitely want (and plan) to do this again very soon. I'm talking within this month. I'm making Christmas cards! I've already set money aside for this so it's all good, and it involves less at-home manufacturing since I can just reach out to a local print shop.
I know some people were wary of the google form, but I can't really find a better alternative at this time. MailChimp has had at least one major information leak in 2024 alone, so I am not sure where else to turn for collecting addresses at this time. I had a few people who did not give me towns/zip codes, and the street address would have three or four towns in that state alone with that address. Since I didn't collect e-mail addresses, I didn't have any way to reach out to entrants about this. If you don't see your sticker in the next few weeks, this might be why! I also plan on adding a checkbox just to confirm that the person requesting the sticker is over 18, NOT because I plan on sending anything saucy, but I know what it's like to be a teen with parents who open you mail, an I don't want to cause problems for anyone because Mom and Dad think fairies are satanic or something.
Most people I've talked to about all of this have really emphasized that I need to reopen my Patreon. I'm not saying anybody is wrong on this, but it just makes me feel so uncomfortable. I think anyone who's followed me for a while has seen me try and fail to do art full time or, hell, even have a schedule for something, and I've failed every time. I'm so scared of failing people again. How can I ensure that I'm producing things on time, to a standard I am happy with, that anyone willing to support me (in this economy?) would also be happy with? It will probably happen, but I'm just so... Plus, with all honesty, I have a commission backlog that I need to finish first! I'm bad at the business part of this whole thing, I think. I'm a blue-collar labourer in my heart.
That's my update! I wish you all well, please stay safe and take care of yourself and those around you. I'll post again when I'm collecting addresses for the Christmas cards.

Is it ok if we print some of your artworks? Not to sell them or profit by them in any way, just for decorative reasons.
Also, I know you don't have a shop where we can buy any prints/stickers/anything (if you did I wouldn't even consider printing them by myself) but have you ever thought of actually making one? Maybe, if not your own shop, sign up(?) on inprnt or something?
Sure! If you just want to print out my art so you can stick it on your wall or something, go ahead. (As long as it's just personal non-commercial use and you're not claiming ownership over the artwork or the characters).
I used to have a Society6 shop but I closed it last year, mostly due to changes in their terms of service. They were cutting into artists' already meager profits, and the last time I heard of it, they were planning to add a subscription fee on top of that. It just started to feel a little bit exploitative. (I also had read some reports that the quality of some of their products had gone downhill over the years but I can't attest to that).
I already have an Inprnt account waiting in the wings, but I haven't gotten around to adding any prints to it yet. (Are there any specific pieces you'd potentially be interested in? I know people ask about the 'You cannot eat money' one pretty frequently.)
#answered#anonymous#the ideal situation would be manufacturing the prints and merch myself and running an independent online shop#so I could use the exact materials I wanted and personally make sure everything was good quality and reasonably sustainable#but running a small business is hard work it's stressful and time consuming and I don't think I'd be good at customer service#my social batteries are miniscule

TrigunBookclub Afterparty!
Hello there! As bookclub winds down to a close, there a few things to announce:
Bookclub Afterparty!
Bookclub may officially be over, but the Trimax brainrot continues! There are some bonus comics, the Multiple Bullets anthology (with all its great and terrible stories), and some folks have fallen behind, have essays left to write, or have things they wanted to create or share and haven't had a chance. I myself fell behind since life has been a bit hellish on my end, I'm two volumes behind--and I don't seem to bethe only one in that position!
So, I want to invite people to keep using and watching the tag until the end of October! Discuss, share theories, thoughts, art, shout-out posts and ideas that you love, just have fun! You can discuss the entire series and all related materials--hell, you can even do a read/reread it if you want to. Whatever goes, so long as it follows the guidelines.
Bookclub 2.0!
I've been talking with the @trigun-manga-overhaul team, who we all know has the best Trigun manga translation out there--but it's about to get better with Overhaul 2.0! When it drops probably next year, it will be at the pace of a chapter a week, and I plan to run the bookclub during that time to celebrate! This gives much more time for discussion, comparing, analyzing, and keeping up with posts. Since it will be a longer reading time and it's round two, spoilers will be allowed, though I will ask that they be tagged.
I also highly encourage everyone to feel free to use the tag when the hardcovers from Dark Horse are released to celebrate and discuss!
Bookclub Archive!
Since social media has a tendency to be ephemeral at best, the lovely @versaphile has taken it upon themselves to archive the bookclub posts of everyone who gives permission for them to do so! This way you can binge meta and posts and find everything much more easily. You can find the archive here, and see an example of archived posts here. If you're interested in or okay with being included in the project, please contact @trigunreferencelibrary!
Bookclub Stickers!
Multiple people have talked about wanting a badge of honor for participating in/keeping up with bookclub, and I think that might be a bit tricky... but how about some stickers? I figure that this way, the shipping is affordable even for international folks since I've seen a good amount of people around the world participating and lurking! I'm going to try and find printing for as affordably as I can (if anyone out there knows any good distributors for smaller batch sticker orders, please shoot me a DM!), and it won't be something to profit off of--just in memory of a great time! The only thing is I have two options, and I don't know if either of them are even what folks want. So...
And that's all that I can think of for now! I'm a bit exhausted and run ragged at the moment, so feel free to ask for any clarification on anything. When I started this project, I honestly didn't think I'd get many if any people following through--I know people lose their focus easily (myself included). But instead it turned into a huge celebration of a beautiful manga that is finally getting the attention it deserves after kind of getting buried by time. I've met some absolutely amazing and brilliant people throughout this event, and I just want to say thank you to every single person who made a post, supported others, and/or just lurked. You guys are fantastic and made this an amazing experience.

I have occasionally been asked if I sell stickers or prints and the answer has been nah… until now.
I opened a redbubble shop, mostly because I want to buy them for myself. Have a look if you’re interested in stickers or anything else. I’m not planning to get rich I just want to share my work around because I’m proud of it. If you’d rather just download it from my page and print it out to paper your bathroom or whatever I don’t really give a fuck. I don’t watermark or anything. Have at it.
If there’s something I’ve drawn that I haven’t added but you want to see it, let me know. I plan to add to the collection over time.
Thank you for your attention

Cosplay stuff :D
So, at the end of July, I’m going to a Con in my country, mainly it’s for cosplayers and artists (it seems awesome)
So when I go, I’ll be cosplaying a lot of characters, one of which is Vox.
It’s the cosplay I’m actually making myself from scratch (with help), and so I wanted cute reasons to why he was at a Con, and this is that!
Welcome to VoxTec
Let me introduce you to our newest product, Sharkimals!!
Your kids best friends, the best nanny cam, and it can even take care of your twat while you’re having fun in the bedroom!!
I’m planning on getting them printed as stickers, and handing them out at Con, as a promo thing for why Vox and his associates would be at the Convention :3
(I also plan on getting a new phonecase that’s based off of the one he has)

hi! may i ask how you're doing? we haven't heard from you in a while so i just wanted to check in :)
hi!! thanks for checking in!!!
So yeahhh… I kinda disappeared for like a month. I really should have said something, but I had some major internet social anxiety for a bit. (I did not even open tumblr once in the past month.) I was putting pressure on myself to post regularly, and it wasn’t happening, so I figured I just needed a little break.
It wasn’t exactly planned… It started out with me getting hyperfixated on playing Pokemon during my free time, and that became all I did outside of work. (Specifically, Pokemon Heartgold—my favorite pkmn game.)
I know no one asked for this, but I want to show off my team because I am very proud of them.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/8dafd26033b036ca3af40fd13609edee/4cee883828a4b7d0-7c/s540x810/5e858fdf6005e5e143539d9f31137425788dba47.jpg)
Anyway, I have still been doing cool things related to Bruno! For one, I am decorating a Bruno ita bag!! And I’m so excited about how it looks! Here’s what I’ve got so far:
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/74e8726016e33e6d0012f8161008450e/4cee883828a4b7d0-a6/s540x810/1a6ca8da999fd727c20b77cfd5a67a2073faf47c.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/a57847e62486b8fb4ece2ac8f44be091/4cee883828a4b7d0-99/s540x810/0ab9b5ba1806d57c523684df6abdf4fed0e4504e.jpg)
I still want to do a little more with it though—for instance, I want to get some fairy lights to give it that attention-grabbing vibe. I also bought some sticker printer paper so I can print out clear stickers and put them on the bag, like his signature!! I’ll also probably add some hearts to the window too <3
So uh… do you guys think I can wear this thing out in public? 😅 (it’s definitely gonna be a con bag, and I’d really love to use it all the time, but would it be social suicide…?)
But I’m just so happy I finally have an ita bag for Bruno. This has been a dream of mine for the past few years, so I’ve been collecting stuff here and there, and I finally put it all together! EEEEEEEEEE 🥰
So yeah! THank you for checking in! I have missed you all. I think I’m just about ready to get back into answering questions and writing. YAYYYYY!!!
thanks for the ask!!!!! <3

How I Make Scrapbook Pages! (ft Kishibe Rohan)
This was requested by @rateater69 (so sorry for taking forever to make this), and here it is!
Just a notice, uh, I’m not a professional (lol) nor am I saying you have to do it like this. I will just say that I tend to do things on the fly and that scrapbooking should be messy and fun for you, not some anxiety inducing activity that makes you worry about being “perfect”. Before I began doing it myself, I saw a couple videos online on instagram, you can always check them out to get some inspiration.
With that being said, let’s begin! My “instructions” will be below the cut in a messy and scatterbrained manner as I make a scrapbook for Kishibe Rohan.
First off, you need your supplies! You can always, always, alwaaaaays use whatever random stuff is in your house, but I use a few things consistently.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/3671c612ac8daf1735bbd693be09dba5/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-90/s540x810/e3ffa9b9a4b1a552ddbdff3b397f6c05874ae864.jpg)
A notebook (or paper, or whatever material you decide to do this on)
Craft tweezers, usually on the thinner with a curved edge.
That spatula thingy to smooth the edges and make sure there are no bumps
Double sided tape roller (truly one of the best things out there)
Scissors, obviously!
This is what I use but hey man, glue, regular tape, your own hand, and washi tape will get the job done just fine.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/6041d8221860a3aafba752a469b6688a/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-c9/s540x810/e410d575bd48c5a55c748c8acec0d93538de585d.jpg)
Now, I’m a recovering stationary hoarder (hence why I decided to make these pages so I can actually USE my things) so I have plenty of this stuff laying around. You can find this stuff easy on places like Amazon, Aliexpress, Five Below, your local craft stores, etc.- up to you where you get them you can find random stickers anywhere.
So the character I chose to make this page on is none other than my beloved Rohannie 💖 the brainworms got me so why not let it out with this.
I don’t have any stickers of him available so the next thing I do is print out photos I like and want to use. I limit it usually to 2-3 pics of varying size because my notebook is smaller.

(Yes the shirtless and wet Rohan pic was so necessary)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/7d47148b1d8e8381062530a13aab07ca/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-4c/s640x960/37e095cccba9e223c9537357e0fed8af32aed461.jpg)
I begin by cutting them out and then playing around with where I think I’d want them. It’s not really an exact science or anything I just look and see how I feel.
I really wanted to incorporate the “book” part of Rohan’s abilities into this page and was considering using this old vintage letter sticker, BUT THEN I HAD A BRAIN BLAST.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/7084bcd30054c29158cb4726742dd733/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-4b/s540x810/5fc2a7eb1059e1e6385d70427ae79ae11da656d2.jpg)
I had this old freaking book lying around my room with nothing to do, so what better way than to put it in?
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/7fc1840e5aeedca7b2ff0c1e7809d231/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-dc/s540x810/ab49754a08e546e97014089bb9df60e4e9e6a91f.jpg)
I was feeling ~romantical~ and decided to choose Shakespeare Sonnet 130 to go in it.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/37a361e8cc33b140e06a1c5af5133e63/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-b9/s540x810/b0e82b413a2a129ce61b14ef278c8395993532c9.jpg)
Skipping a few boring steps along, boom, I cut the page, lay out the photos of him, and some other stickers that catch my fancy. I’m vibing with the layout so I continue!
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d3a384edcd6c42e5a23ec4359447067d/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-a7/s540x810/ba19af7ee3aa4678ca8aa1798900f20c73793373.jpg)
I first added another sticker underneath the painting and decided that I was pretty cool with how it looked.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/a3522cd52cadb73385b6b2393fa1190c/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-fd/s540x810/b40963b16d600c9fe55f2e3823d781bcd3567d66.jpg)
Then I put a bit of washi tape there and then used the double sided tape to tape the book page to my notebook.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/45833b569da4e25d701820e337c560e9/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-0f/s540x810/d538710e4cd30aef08e6ad6ceacb5e9aa2cf53f1.jpg)
Okay accidentally missed a few steps but I chose some washi tape that intrigued me and smacked them on the page. Theres literally no rhyme or reason I just chose them in that way because it’s fun. I liked the circular ones for a bit more color and to match with the funky background of that smaller Rohan pic.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/be9c11b6634926cd57de3a87224b4b04/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-82/s540x810/9d538948b9285069896dda74a7931fdf9f896f4a.jpg)
I then laid the Rohan photo overtop with the double sided tape, then added a small stamp sticker!
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/9601aac8b1a2f81fe882ad2ca3537905/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-95/s540x810/db34cb4e0b003728d67b6d85c9463cd0edc81704.jpg)
Okay I missed a couple steps again but I laid the second picture, placing it down with the washi tape I chose. I then added a fun line of words that I felt matched him.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/de3e24cffd23aef7b9158bfd7d720153/dd52c3d1ce2580e8-b2/s540x810/66120b338a67e05f590e8ea54c7e0b9729df0fcb.jpg)
I put the frame around the shirtless Rohan pic (memorialized now in my notebook <3) and that made me "done" with the main pieces I had. I felt there was a lot of empty space so I chose to add a (what a coincidence-) a Shakespeare quote sticker and another stamp to finish it off.
This is the final product and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out! Again, scrapbooking is not something I go into fully with a plan, it's just something I 'feel' then 'do'. You may find different materials or ways to do this, and hey, whatever makes you happy and makes it easier for you is best practice. And since most of these are stickers and washi tape, you can easily peel them off if you make a mistake (which I did even in this page).
That's really all my 'instructions' on how I do this, but if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

Do you think you might ever open up an online shop for prints for people who can’t make it to conventions?
I've been wanting to open one for a while, I had plans to last year but they got shelved for a bit as I still had a lot left to figure out. One of the biggest hurdles I've been sorta kicking down the road is figuring out shipping, as it's never really been my strongest skill LOL Just the logistics of it all is kinda hard on the brain in addition to every other thing I'd have to setup. I know I can do it, it's just trying to get through that mental block of figuring it all out and getting it setup properly.
Other than that, I also have to make sure I have the proper equipment. I have a printer that's pretty decent, but I'm kind of in the market for something that's a bit more ink-friendly as the one I have currently chugs ink like I chug shorty's on a Friday afternoon LOL So I'm weighing my options when it comes to printing as it's a toss-up between "do my own printing so I can print on demand and not have more stock than I need" and "pay someone else to do my printing for me so I don't have to buy printer ink but potentially have to deal with bulk stock that I can't move". And that's not even getting into the manufacturing costs of my other products like my stickers and keychains - that's all stuff that I usually have to order in bulk, so I'd wanna make sure there's enough interest in buying them before I open a shop for them so I don't wind up with a bunch of unsold merch!
Needless to say, running an online shop is complicated and a ton of work! So I wanna make sure if and when I do open one, I do it right in a way that benefits both buyers and myself for the purpose of self-care :' ) I also wanna get out of the funk I'm currently in as creating standalone illustrations has admittedly gotten harder over the past couple years. Drawing comics is no problem because I have direction through the script, drawing illustrations from scratch on a blank canvas suddenly makes my brain short out @.@
But yeah! TL ; DR yes I would LOVE to open up an online shop for the folks who wanna buy my original art! It's in the works and I hope it's something I can bring to you all soon <3 <3
