Immunity Boosting Smoothie
1 serving
This is a tasty smoothie to drink and has items in it that will boost your immune system.
Ingredients
½ cup orange juice
¼ cup low-fat plain yogurt
2 bananas frozen in chunks
7 baby carrots shredded
1 tablespoon Truvia, a no-calorie sugar substitute
Directions:
In a food processor, place the baby carrots and they should be shredded in one or two minutes.
In a blender add the juice, yogurt, bananas, carrots, and sugar substitute.  Blend until smooth and creamy.
In one tall glass, pour in the smoothie from the blender and enjoy!
Note:
Sweeten the smoothie to your taste by adding more or less sugar substitute.
7 baby carrots about = one medium carrot.  Baby carrots are used because they are already peeled and easily fit in the food processor.

I’m so annoyed. Diet culture has absolutely ruined yogurt (among other things). Like everything is reduced or low fat. There’s literally nothing wrong with wanting whole milk yogurt!!! There’s nothing wrong with eating fat!!!! Let me have my damn whole milk flavored yogurt without spending at least $1.50 for YOGURT.

Tips to help avoid binging…
Cut up cucumbers or celery and put seasoning on them, eat them and drink water in between(gives the illusion of eating a lot and can trick you into not binging on bad food) you can do the same with raw broccoli or carrots
Drink lots of water, or if you can stand the taste drink 16oz water with 1tsp apple cider vinegar, you can add lemon juice to help with the taste
Drink lots of peppermint tea (or any hot tea) (add 0 cal sweetener if u need to)
Obviously Diet Coke, black coffee, or 0 cal monster
Vegetable broth!!!
Look at thinspo!
Take ur vitamins and drink 1-2 full bottles of water with them!
Cut up 1 small apple(55 cals) or one large apple (95 cals) into super skinny pieces(the smaller you cut up your healthy food and the more you chew, the more your brain thinks you’ve eaten) drink 1-2 bottles of water and you will feel full
Make sure SOMETHING is in your stomach whether it’s liquid or food, just make sure you’re putting something in it when you’re hungry to stop your stomach growling or over time your starvation instincts will kick in to eat as much as you can(trust me I’ve been down this road for most of my life) so as a rule, to avoid binging, put something in your stomach even if it’s lettuce or celery.
Whether you want to have the calories or not it will help to let yourself have a tbsp of peanut butter (90 cal) or even some oatmeal (150 cal for 1/2 cup) or both (240) bc those things will stick with you throughout almost the whole day and will keep you full.
Plain Low fat Greek yogurt(90 cal for 3/4 cup) will stick with you throughout the day as well. I put 1 tsp of agave nectar(honey works too)(30 cal) and cut up 3 grapes(10 cal) and it’s sweet and helps stop cravings. 130 cal total. You can also sub the fruit and honey for 1 tbsp peanut butter to stay full longer(180 cal total)
As much as you want to eat literally nothing, that is the reason you are binging. If you eat less than 1,500 calories a day you *will* lose weight. If you eat less than 1,000 a day you’ll lose it faster. But if you eat nothing for days you will binge. Eat small amounts of healthy food and you’ll be in control longer. Trust.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk besties

•How I’ve gained weight•
I’ve wanted to make a post like this for a while now because I get the question ‘how do I gain weight’ often. Here is an outline of what I’ve been doing
-In the morning, I try to have eggs. 4 eggs scrambled with a slice of cheese is my go to. That’s 24 grams of protein right away. Add a tall glass of milk (for me chocolate milk) and boom, 30 grams of protein immediately.
-I work on the road during the year so around lunch time I would try to snack on cashews and peanut butter crackers. Once I’m off work around 2-3pm, I would try to have a burger. Literally just a plain ass burger or 2 with ketchup. Alternate that with grilled chicken or a deli sandwich with some kind of red meat. Or even full fat greek yogurt is good.
-Dinner is…dinner. Eat whatever. Pasta. Pizza. Chicken. Steak. Burgers. Tacos. Hell pb n js will do. Go nuts
-IMPORTANT-
•Weight Training
I weight train. Almost every day. I can tell I am ruining some of your ‘ooo fat boy is out of shape. He probably can’t do a push up’ fantasies. Very sorry but I can. I can do a lot actually. I lift weights. I do lunges. I do squats. I have a fat fucking milkshake made up simply of ice cream and milk. Not even trying with the milk either, it’s low fat. Imagine if I did whole milk? In due time 😉 but this is important. I’m not saying ‘hit the gym blimpie!’. Get some dumbbells. Work your lower body. You need to do this anyways to carry your growing body. Plus you’ll feel A LOT better…and your ass and thighs look good, win win 😃
-Midnight snack/second dinner. My go to second dinner/before bed snack is a steak and cheese grinder. I don’t have it every night but probably 3-4 times a week. Again, it doesn’t have to be red meat but protein is key.
In conclusion
I started doing this for a few reason
My job causes me to move around a good bit and I lost weight because of it. I had no muscle. I was just pure fat. I wanted to change that and have
I figured it would help fill me out a bit more. Uhhhh mission accomplished 🥵
It’s healthy. Pretty simple
Final reason. I am always trying to find the most effective weight gain regimen. This is it. At least for me it is.
I’ve gained 23 pounds since June 25th. I have to make adjustments do to my upcoming work schedule but I plan on keeping this routine for the foreseeable future and even tweaking it a bit.
-I can add protein powder, whole milk and heavy cream to my milkshakes
-I can have 2 milkshakes a day (or 3 or 4 or just a constant stream 😅)
-I will go up in weight with my weight training. Increasing weight is key, don’t do a ton of reps because that is how you cut/tone. You want to build. Only way to build is to increase the weight you lift. Don’t hurt yourself. Start low, then grow
I’m not saying this is a guarantee plan for you. Everybody is different. But this worked for me. It DESTROYED a plateau I was hitting and then some.
Side note: this was influenced by a post that I have a screenshot of but I didn’t screenshot the name of the blog and I can’t find the post. When I see it resurface, will rb

Omg i’m gonna start sharing some low calorie meals/foods i know of i have a lot!!! Here’s some brands i use.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will absolutely NEVER use normal milk, or any other milk besides this one. Not in starbucks coffees, or even taking a tiny sip out of someones drink they tell me to try. I just say no… i don’t like milk. Which i really don’t anymore. Cashew milk is lower with only 25 cals per cup, but its lowkey so bad😭
Tumblr media
I found this frozen keto bread, only 30 cals each slice :3 and no carbs!! 3g of protein if i remember correctly
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally found fat free cheese, pretty low cals the cheddar one is 40 cals and the mozzarella one is 45. Tbh i only use these if it’s one of the days i eat a lil more cals tho. Idk whenever i eat any cheese i feel gross. At least these are fat free🤷‍♀️
Tumblr media
Keto whole wheat tortillas. It says 60 cals on the picture idk why but whenever i got it it was 40 per tortilla. And theyre a reasonable size. So yeah
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I went thru a phase where i ate a bagel for the first time in foreverrr, but i did NOT like the cal count, carb count, sugar, etc. no ma’am. But i found these which are keto, no sugar, 15g protein and pretty low cal for a bagel, they also have plain and blueberry and maybe others but yeah.
Ugh theyre not letting me add more pics but one more thing, one of my biggest safe food tbh is the sugar free chobani yogurts, the single serving cups have 60 cals, no sugar, 12g protein.
Btw i found all these on the walmart WEBSITE. sometimes they dont have stuff in the irl store.

hello mister feyburner sir i am in need of an easy flatbread/tortilla/something round that i can stuff with stuff recipe, do you have some that have done you right or some of your own? i can make rotis and that is the only thing i know so i would be forever thankful if u shared something new with me 🫡 thank you for your service towards the culinarily challenged
Oooh yes. I love making naan (if I don’t have yogurt on hand I use buttermilk* or coconut cream/milk), crispy flaky scallion pancakes and paratha (great paratha video here), tortillas, and this Tibetan-style pan bread (watch Jacques Pepin make it here).
*Homemade buttermilk: 1 Tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice:1 cup milk. Stir together and let sit 10 min to thicken and curdle. Generally works with nondairy milk as well.
Tips:
Watch videos especially for the flatbreads that require folding to get layers. Easiest way to see how it should look at each step.
Make sure to let the dough rest at least 20-30 minutes at some point before rolling out and cooking!! Resting is not a skippable step—when dough rests the flour absorbs moisture and becomes nice and hydrated. Whenever I am making any kind of bread, whether a flatbread or a loaf or cinnamon buns, I always stop after mixing the ingredients together and let it rest at least 10 minutes before kneading. The difference before and after resting is huge. Wet sticky dough turns beautifully smooth and workable.
Keep your pan nice and HOT. You want flatbreads to cook in like <4 minutes total. If it’s sitting there in a low-heat pan for 10 minutes before it starts browning, it’s going to be stiff and tough.
Err on the side of undercooking. You can always toss it back in the pan for a minute or so if it’s a little too tender, but once it’s overcooked it’s stiff forever.
Hope this helps!! I love making flatbreads to go along with dinner. There’s nothing better than homemade curry and garlic naan.
My personal quick (no yeast) naan and tortilla recipes:
QUICK NAAN (NO YEAST)
(Yeast naan is best!! But this is for when I’m running late and crunched for time lol.)
200g (1.5 cups) flour
250g (1 cup) plain full-fat yogurt
2 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
+
optional:
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp minced garlic
1. Whisk dry ingredients together. Add yogurt. Mix together.
2. Knead on clean, floured surface 1-2 minutes until dough is a firm, sticky ball.
3. Divide into 6-8 equal pieces. Cover and let rest 15-20 min.
4. With floured rolling pin, roll out into 6-8” circles.
5. Heat pan (no oil) over medium high. Cook naan 2-3 minutes per side until brown spots appear.
6. Melt butter and garlic together in microwave. Brush finished naans with garlic butter.
TORTILLAS
360g (3 cups) flour
1 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
+
1/3 cup olive oil
1 cup warm water
1. Whisk dry ingredients together. Add oil and water in 2 additions, cutting in with spatula until a ball forms.
2. Knead on clean, floured surface until smooth, 1-2 minutes.
3. Divide into 12-16 equal pieces. Cover and let rest 15-20 min.
4. Lightly sprinkle each piece with flour. Roll out into 6-8” circles between sheets of parchment paper.
5. Heat pan (no oil) on medium high. Cook tortillas 2-3 minutes per side until brown spots appear.

Tofu Tikka Masala
1 (14-ounce) block extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your spice preference)
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (14-ounce) can full-fat coconut milk
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Coconut Rice
1 cup basmati rice
1 (14-ounce) can full-fat coconut milk
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Prep the Tofu: Drain and press the tofu for at least 15 minutes. Cut into 1-inch cubes.
Marinate the Tofu (Optional): For extra flavor, marinate the tofu in a mixture of 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon garam masala, and a pinch of salt for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Rice
Rinse rice thoroughly. Combine rice, coconut milk, water, and salt in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
Make the Tikka Masala Sauce:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add garlic and ginger and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
Stir in cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, and cayenne pepper, and cook for another 30 seconds.
Add diced tomatoes, coconut milk, and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer.
Cook the Tofu
If not marinated, toss tofu with a bit of olive oil, garam masala, and salt.
In a separate skillet, heat a bit of oil and cook the tofu until golden brown on all sides.
Assemble the Tikka Masala:
Add the cooked tofu to the simmering sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Let simmer for 5-10 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
Serve: Stir in fresh cilantro. Serve the hot Tofu Tikka Masala over a bed of fluffy coconut rice.
Optional Garnishes
Extra cilantro
Lime wedges
Naan bread
Plain yogurt
Tips
Spiciness: Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper for your preferred heat level.
Creamier Sauce: For extra richness, stir in a dollop of heavy cream or vegan cashew cream at the end.

My new favorite snack:
Plain Greek yogurt (not the fat free kind) + local honey, to taste
Then stir in some chopped up strawberries (however many you want) and dark chocolate mini chocolate chips (however many you want)
Tastes delicious, and it has protein and fiber and vitamins and fat and carbs and it's filling and healthy without feeling like a chore and TBH it's v low energy friendly (imo, as a 6 month pregnant person who doesn't want to do shit).
I literally have eaten this basically every day for two weeks now and I'm not sick of it.

double chocolate “souls of black” muffins my mom straight up told me these are the best muffins she’s ever eaten 🙌🏻
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
½ cup (41g) unsweetened natural cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 and ¾ cups (315g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 large eggs, at room temperature
¾ cup (185g) mayonnaise (original recipe called for either full fat sour cream or plain yogurt, at room temperature, but i found that mayo’s a good alternative if you’re running low on sour cream: it makes them really fluffy and gives them an interesting tangy note)
½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil
½ cup (120ml) whole milk, at room temperature
1 and ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C). Spray a 12-count muffin pan with nonstick spray or use cupcake liners.
Whisk the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and chocolatechips together in a large bowl. Set aside.
Whisk the eggs, sour cream, oil, milk, and vanilla extract together until combined. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold together with a silicone spatula or wooden spoon until completely combined. (Batter is quite thick, so use a spatula or spoon over a whisk.). The batter will be thick and sticky.
Spoon the batter into liners, filling them all the way to the top. Bake for 5 minutes at 425°F then, keeping the muffins in the oven, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (177°C). Bake for an additional 15-16 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (i had to bake for 20 minutes). The total time these muffins take in the oven is about 20-21 minutes, give or take. (For mini muffins, bake 13-14 total minutes at 350°F (177°C) the whole time.)
Cool muffins for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack until ready to eat.
