alright, let's do another survey thingie! this time, i want to know,
followers of this blog, what acespec labels do you identify with?
i got the list by going through this blog's common identity tags. there weren't enough options in the poll to fit everything, so i grouped together some of the more similar ones, but i apologize if it seems reductive.
couple things:
if multiple apply to you, choose either the one you feel the most attached to or the one that's more specific. you can elaborate in the tags or comments if u want to give me the full picture.
if you fall under the "other" category, elaborate in the tags or comments also.
if you're one of like 2 allos that follow, just scroll past, i couldn't afford to include that option lol
IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THIS BLOG AT ALL SCROLL PAST

fray means you feel attraction only to people you don't know. you get to know them - it disappears. so basically the opposite of demi. it says nothing about how you feel about it being reciprocated. lith means you might be attracted to someone for a while and be comfortable with that, but you don't want them to be attracted to you too.
recipro is often considered to be close to demi. but demisexuality doesn't require reciprocity, you might be demi and have a hopeless crush on a friend regardless of if they like you back. (actually that happens pretty often with demi people since their attraction is conditional on friendship)
if you're aceflux, whether you feel sexual attraction and how shifts and fluxes. with abro, this could flux AND also the genders you're attracted to. abro is a bigger label, and often considered to be both acespec and mspec.
how are you allo if you don't feel sexual attraction? if anything, cupios are closer to sex favorable asexuals
of course it's consensual. not all consensual sex acts are 50/50. we accept that some people only like to top or only like to bottom, we have stone butches and pillow princesses, how is being placio different?
hope this helps!
Questions for the Ace Community
It’s been nearly a month since I came out as aroace (specifically bi-oriented aroace), and as a fellow a-spec, I feel it’s important that I learn more about the lesser known micro labels in the community. So, my questions are…
What’s the difference between Fraysexuality and Lithsexuality?: I ask this because their definitions just sound way too similar to me. Fraysexual means having sexual attraction to someone you just met, but then have that attraction fade/disappear after getting to know them, while Lithsexual means having sexual attraction to someone while not wanting those feelings reciprocated. So, what’s the exact difference there?
Reciprosexuality means that you don’t experience sexual attraction to someone unless they find you sexually attractive first, right?: Isn’t that just a small aspect of Demisexuality, or am I missing something there?
How is Abrosexuality considered an Ace label?: Not trying to be exclusive, just curious, because Abrosexuality is supposed to be a sexuality that is fluid and often changes, but…isn’t that technically the same thing as Aceflux? If not, then what’s the difference?
How is Cupiosexual considered an Ace label?: Again, not trying to be exclusive, just curious. Anyway, it says that a Cupiosexual is someone who’s never experienced sexual attraction before, but wants to. Isn’t that technically the same thing as Allosexuality?
Where does consent come into play for Placiosexuality?: Because being Placiosexual means you have no desire to receive sexual acts, but want to perform sexual acts onto others? Is that even a consensual thing, or am I missing something there as well?
Remember, these questions don’t come from a place of malice or exclusion. I just want to get to know my community a little better.

A very Happy Valentine's Day to any ace, aro, aroace, gray, demi, cupio, abro, quio, placio, akoi, fray and everyone else on the asexual/aromantic spectrum reading this!
Maybe we don't love in the "normal" way, but we're not lonely or broken or cold unfeeling robots. We still love in our own way and are worthy of love!

that sounds acespec and possibly placiosexual!
I genuinely need advice. How did you guys realize or discover you were asexual? I’ve had sex before because I found my then partner attractive but it was just… flat for me. My partner enjoyed it and I enjoyed seeing her feeling good but when it was my turn I just couldn’t get there.
I’m so lost because I find people attractive and think “I’d like to see them in intimate situations” but it’s never “I’d like it to be reciprocal” it’s “I’d like to make them feel good and it can end there”. What even is that? Is there a word for that or am I just weird and broken? Have I not found the right partner? Am I just unable to get there? I just need to know I’m not alone in this I guess.

Is it weird to relate to multiple labels at the same time? If I had to sum up, I feel aego and sequencesexual, as in “I feel aego but when I feel romantic attraction I might actually want to participate”. I also relate to placiosexuality, but I feel like I would also want to receive sexual acts after feeling sexual attraction. In one word : aego-placio-sequencesexual. Does this exists and is it weird to relate to this?
It is not weird to relate to multiple labels and it does exist. Sometimes multiple labels can fit a person, and it might be complicated, but like here it makes sense when you explain it or it works for the person.
There actually is a label for this, propeestsexual, which means having a mix of ace-spec identities are all part of one's identity. It can be useful for people who want a shorter label to share (though of course it's an individual choice if they'd rather use that or share all their labels or both).
All the best, Anon!

33. ( I age regress to a teen or younger while stoned, but I'm still a conscious adult. please be respectful when interacting with me in a regressed state, thanks! )
they/them, it/its, any/ask.
transneutral genderqueer & demifluid ( static tomboy, especially prominent while AgeRe'd )
bi-oriented aspec. ( nebula, encie, aego, ficto, & placio )
neurodivergent. ( predominantly autistic, bpd, & ocd )
plural. ( system hub blog is @althaino. )
blog mascot is March 7th from Honkai: Star Rail.
rotating SpIns and hyperfixations:
The Coffin of Andy and Leyley. ( this is a good portion of my blog's content. )
Danganronpa. ( I have not played v3 yet. main content on this blog is Despaircest and ships involving Mikan. for all other DR content see my sideblog @kibogaminechaos. )
Hazbin Hotel. ( any and all Vivziepop content is catch-all'd with the term 'vivzieverse' for blacklisting. )
The Umbrella Academy. ( invested in both the show and the original comics main ships are Ben/Klaus and Five/Viktor. )
Dexter. ( more invested in the Darkly Dreaming Dexter novels than the show but will interact with content of both; main ships are Brian/Dexter (both universes) and Dexter/Debra (show only) )
Umineko no naku Koro ni. ( I know the whole story but I have not finished a complete playthrough myself. )
Kimi ga Shine / Your Turn To Die.
more tba.
thought crime does not exist.
fiction = / = reality
fictional characters regardless of their age and/or relation to each other do not have autonomy, and putting them in fictional scenarios outside of their canon source cannot harm real victims of abuse who can and should curate their own online and media consumption experiences.
my sideblog for more on these subjects, regarding anti-censorship, discourse and whatnot is @momentsofamberclarity. if you followed that blog and I've followed you back the follow is coming from here!
if you need something tagged a certain way for blacklisting, just let me know how you'd like it tagged. 💗 ( anon is on if you're shy! and you do not need to give me a reason for the tag whatsoever. the fact that you want to blacklist something is completely valid to me regardless of why. )
we are a plural system ( pro-all systems ) but probably won't go super into detail about plurality on this blog. when you see I/me/my/myself on posts rather than we/us/our/ourself it just means the collective system is speaking in unison; I and we are interchangeable and are often chosen based on grammatical context.

Sean. they/them. & it/its. 33.
transneutral genderqueer & demifluid (static tomboy, especially prominent while stoned & age-regressed).
polyam bi-oriented aspec. ( nebula, encie, aego, ficto, & placio )
Libra sun. Capricorn moon. Sagittarius ascent. INFJ.
due to social anxiety I rarely make the first move in social situations. but if you approach me first and really get to know me my first language is sarcasm, and my love languages are infodumping and affectionately roasting people I care about.
@sydthekydd is the love of my life. <3

this blog is a somewhat organized but mostly chaos collection of any live-action series or movies that manage to captivate my selective attention span.
if I'm deep in a hyperfixation or SpIn my blog will probably be 95% that fandom for the next 3-5 months before rotating again.
I age-regress usually somewhere in my early teens while stoned so sometimes my phrasing of posts or tags and my tagging system may seem more childish than others.
'Sean' is the blanket self of a mixed origins OSDD-1b system, but we generally don't talk about our plurality on this fandom blog. ( You can DM us/send an ask for our system's separate hub blog. )
animated fandoms side blog is awnfoxanimated.

Hi! Does something like placiosequencesexuality exists? By that, I mean “might feel favorable to receive sexual acts if feeling romantic attraction, otherwise feels neutral to it”. Thanks !
it does now. i made u a flag
placiosequencesexual - enjoys performing sexual acts for others but does not want them reciprocated, unless they experience romantic attraction to that person first.
if anyone else wants to try their hand at making a flag for this term, knock yourself out
also, say "placiosequencesexuality" ten times fast lol

Can a placiosexual be someone that is sex-indifferent about receiving sexual acts and sex-favorable about giving sexual acts? Like instead of not wanting sexual acts on themselves, just not care about it. Also, can you be placiosexual but want to receive sexual acts after developing romantic attraction (sequencesexual). Thanks for your answers, I’m asking myself a lot of questions hehe
Hello, anon! Yes, you can be indifferent/neutral about receiving the acts, and favorable about giving them. That is absolutely valid in placiosexuality!
As for your second question, I will be honest and say I'm not 100% sure on the answer. BUT I will say that there are no sexuality police out there. Go with what feels right to you. If identifying as placiosexual helps you, and it seems to fit, then please keep identifying as such! :) No one is going to say "Oh, you're not placio-...you want to receive the acts now..." Your sexuality is true to you!
Best wishes. :)

Hello yes this is my pinned post
I am three major things that are important:
1. Panromantic Placio-Pansexual
2. Transgender Nonbinary (possibly genderfluid)
3. A MINOR
Occasionally stuff that’s mildly suggestive will occur; I’m sorry if you don’t like it. Nothing outright NSFW will occur on this blog, but if you think it’ll be a problem, just don’t follow me :)
TERFs, transphobes, homophobes, etc. DNI
In case it's unclear from what I post and reblog, I stand with Palestine.

A Song of Fruitas by Margarita Engle, illustrated by Sara Placios. Atheneum Books for Young Readers, 2021. 9781534444898. https://www.powells.com/book/-9781534444898?partnerid=34778&p_bt
A little girl walks with her abuelo as he sings and sells frutas from his cart. Engle's author note explains that this Spanglish picture book celebrates los pregoneros, "singing vendors who walk the streets of Cuba describing the things they sell in poetic ways, to attract customers." And Palacios's illustrations make everything about Cuba's streets feel friendly. (There's a Spanish version of this book, too.)
One Day by Lee Juck illustrated by Kim Seung-youn. Translated from Korean by Asuka Minamoto, Lee Juck, and Dianne Chung. Enchanted Lion, 2021. 9781592703135. https://www.powells.com/book/-9781592703135?partnerid=34778&p_bt
A little boy misses his grandfather, a tailor, who has died. His grandmother won't stop feeding him. (My favorite parts of this book are the glimpses Kim Seung-youn provides of South Korea's past which seem almost entirely gone, with streets full of small shops and lines for fresh water to carry home.)
The Bird Coat by Inger Marie Kjølstadmyr & Øyvind Torseter. Translated from Norwegian by Kari Dickson. Enchanted Lion, 2022. 9781592703661. https://www.powells.com/book/-9781592703661?partnerid=34778&p_bt
A young boy getting a haircut is told the tale of Pierre, a popular tailor who lived in Paris. Pierre's dream was to fly, which no one had ever done at that point. So he sewed a coat with wings in order to try to become a human bird. (Warning: the story does not end as one would expect.) (It was this and Torseter's odd, detailed drawings made me love it.)

i stumbled upon this term inadvertently today
i usually just use the word dominant but placio seems much more accurate. all of my sexual desires come from wanting to pleasure the other person and i am neutral or even repulsed by certain acts done on me. (at times only allowing it so i can see the pleasure of other person tbh) also i cant be turned on at all just by having things done to me. whereas i can handfree gasm just thinking of my desired person being pleasured by me. does that sound placio?
#tw sex#placiosexual#i'm not sure if that's how it means but#maybe i am that#still demi but like that included lol
