A little update to my research on an obscure DT project, Only Human (2001)...

So I've just finished an hour-long interview with the creator of Only Human, a pilot episode David did back in 2001. This was a follow up to an interview I did a couple weeks ago with one of its developers.

I'll be doing some supplemental work with them in the coming weeks to make sure all my ducks are in a row, information-wise, before doing any solid writing on it. But after that, you can expect a long-form post on the origins of this obscure David Tennant project. All I can say is wow! I've learned SO much, and I'm excited to be able to share it! And if you're reading this but you have NO idea what project I'm talking about, you should go watch Only Human.

Pomni went from fearing holding someones hand.

To dreaming about people holding her hand.

To finally holding someones hand when it was offered to her.

Next step is to she herself make the first move and take someones hand me thinks.

Charlie being so surprised before being deeply touched when someone is grateful for her kindness... She deserves the world, man. Vaggie and Angel being the first ones to do it for her too! I dont have high hopes, but I'd love an episode with these three together.

More about 'Only Human'....and an ask of my own

My in-depth dive into 'Only Human' is getting so detailed and extraordinary, my conversations with the author might go on for quite a few more weeks! I'm gobsmacked about all the new things I've learned and can't wait to share them with y'all! Seriously. But I also keep learning more and more, and I want to wait until I can tell this incredible story the right way. The way it deserves. The author has asked me to send him fan reactions to the pilot - he's loving them! He said, "By the way, it’s fascinating to hear what people who’ve watched the show think re: the details - do you have any more to share? I’d love to hear any kind of comment - positive or negative or speculative - it’s so interesting that people have had the chance to watch the pilot and have thought about it." Pilot Anpanman and his ability to express tears.

Soreike! Anpanman isn't good at showing Anpanman in tears when an emotional situation comes up in which he really would feel upset and therefore cry. He's come close, but the show doesn't actually let him properly.

Pilot Anpanman however doesn't give a fuck and lets you see that side of him which I think is important in characters if you want to get attached to them.
