🐇𓂃 ࣪˖ learn how to bake or cook (in my case anyway) OR look for some cosy autumn recipes to learn and share w ur loved ones or just to have a cosy night in and eat for urself♡
🧁𓂃 ࣪˖ go thru ur closet and wardrobe and throw out all the old things you don't wear anymore. autumn is a time of change, after all (🎀🗒️note: make some cute autumn outfits while ur at it! ♡)
🎃𓂃 ࣪˖ drink every possible pumpkin spice drink u can find in ur area
🍂𓂃 ࣪˖ get out of ur reading slump! if ur in one anyway. if not then just read more books bcuz tea, rain and books is quite possibly the cosiest thing ever

okay so i personally love pink, whites, browns, cream colours and just general neutrals-pastels in the autumn, but you can adjust this to ur personal aesthetic and however you see fit!
the first thing i think of when i think autumn is layering. layer layer layer layer. tops and sweaters, cardigans, jumpers, leg warmers, tights; to keep you warm and pretty ♡
pay attention 2 fabrics! knitted, cashmere, fleece, flannel, all the cosy sorts are perfect for the autumn months ♡
patterns like stripes, leopard print, chevron, argle and plaid are so cute and simple, esp in october / november ♡
neutral colours, like beige, white, brown, cream, grey, black, and pale variants of colours too i think work so well esp in the autumn ♡
anything fur lined is absolutely adorable i rest my case
MASSIVE COATS. i have this big trenchcoat my mum had since i was a baby and i wear it EVERYWHERE in autumn ♡
boots are THE autumn shoes, bonus points if they're fur-lined. they just look so so cute ajdhfjsfjhsjf♡
knit hats and small hair accessories, bonus points if they're in the pretty autumn colours ♡
not really fashion but i love doing simple makeup in the autumn. just very dewy natural looks are pretty all year around, but especially in the fall ♡

y'all I knew my fellow student was a t**** supporter but like. she's a SUPPORTER supporter
#she fell off the cadillac and hit her head#and the third student is a nurse so she was asking her all the usual questions#and she went 'who's the president'#and this bitch goes 'trump elect. but. biden right now.'#like girl you just hit your head why is it still so far up his ass that that's your answer#anyway the student who hit her head and the student who's a nurse and our instructor all went to the ER#so I'm here just waiting for them to come back#btw this is the same student who told me that it must be nice to have a brain that remembers things#cause I keep doing well on our tests and she's not#she's in her 50s I think and she was in a car accident like 40 years ago and that's her entire personality#she barely puts in any effort for studying and then blames it on lingering effects from the accident#and listen I totally understand that not everyone can study in the same way and it's gonna be way harder for some people than others#I also understand that I'm lucky in that I work at this pilates studio so instead of making a trip to the studio to self practice#I can just stay an hour later and practice then#like it does make it easier#but she self practices like once a week for like 30 minutes and then reads over her book and expects to do well on the tests#like girl don't make weird remarks at me about how my brain just magically remembers things#as if I'm not studying my ass off cause I care about this class#also like I really hope she's okay I do but it is a MIRACLE that it took this long for her to fall

this reality dating show with teenagers i watched last summer gave me more feels than any romance drama i've seen since (and probably ever). might have something to do with the fact that, whether scripted or not, these kids act way more mature and have more self awareness and emotional intelligence than most drama characters

It’s so weird to still be dealing w the same body image issues that have been driving me nuts since age 13 or whatever. I dislike the way my ribs project outwards. I hate, sometimes, that I look “wide”. I hate that objectively, I’m a petite and small person, but I feel like I’m that slug from Star Wars. I got this gorgeous dress that’s like… tight fitting (it’s a midi length thing w a turtleneck and long sleeves, which is more stylish than it sounds), and even though my measurements fit against the garment measurements on the website, and it actually looked good when I tried it on, I’m still skeptical about wearing it bc it’s a size extra small. And I’ve been working out and putting on muscle, and I feel good bc I can hold a plank, and my arms are getting stronger and my butt and my legs look kinda toned, but I still feel like some gollum creature.
#the body checking gets so bad that it low key stresses me out to see myself in the mirror at the Pilates studio#and I’ve been bad about eating properly this year#but I’ve been trying not to be bc I’m tired of my hair falling or of feeling weak in Pilates
