march 1st: ritual for growth and prosperity

performing this ritual on the 1st day of each month serves as a reminder of your intentions and goals, in addition to being a practice of making space for new growth and prosperity opportunities to enter your life. it is a meaningful way to start each month with optimism and hope. spiritually, cinnamon has been used for millennia in various traditions for its ability to attract prosperity and success. cinnamon also have cleansing properties, helping to purify the environment of negative energies.

prepare the cinnamon

in the first day of the month, take some ground cinnamon.

choose a location

find a spot outside of your home, ideally at the entrance or a place where you frequently come and go. the goal is to blow from outside to inside the cinnamon in a place that symbolizes the entry of energy, prosperity, and good vibes into your life and home.

say a prayer or affirmation

before blowing the cinnamon, say a small prayer or make a positive affirmation, something like: "prosperity flows in this home. abundance is a constant in my life and in the lives of those who live here."

blow the cinnamon

with the cinnamon in your hand, gently blow it in your place, dispersing it into the air while keeping your intention for prosperity and abundance.

give thanks

after blowing the cinnamon, thanks the spiritual forces you believe in, for the prosperity and abundance on your way. ♡

. 🌸봄을 머금은 이달의 소녀🌸 ‘이브, 고원. Olivia Hye’ ⠀ 봄의 문을 열어 사뿐사뿐 그 풍경 속을 걷다 이내 나른해지고 만다. 그러다 우연히 만난 봄바람에 살랑살랑 나부끼는 꽃 같은 소녀들. ‘이달의 소녀’ 이브, 고원, Olivia Hye가 따스한 봄날의 오후를 마주했다.

🔈작년 하반기 <12:00> 앨범으로 활동한 후 오랜만에 보는 것 같다. 어떻게 지내고 있었나? 🍑Olivia Hye : 바쁠 땐 하지 못한 것을 차근차근 해나가고 있다. 2019년부터 필라테스를 배웠는데, 활동기 땐 전혀 못 하다 최근 우리 셋을 포함해 몇몇 멤버가 다시 하는 중이다. 한동안 쉬었다 하니 새롭게 시작하는 기분! 이브 언니 같은 경우엔 미디도 공부하고 있다. 🍎이브 : 6개월 정도 독학하다 회사의 지원으로 체계적으로 배우고 있는 중이다. 매 순간 흥미가 자라나는 것 같다. ⠀ 🔈‘이달의 소녀’ 멤버 중 누가 필라테스 실력이 제일 좋나? 🍎이브 : 우리 셋이 ‘진정’ 에이스다. 하하하! 고원이와 Olivia Hye 모두 승부욕이 있는 편이라 정말 열심히 한다. 🍍고원 : 사실 운동을 그렇게 좋아하진 않아 수업을 받으러 가기 전까진 ‘너무 힘들 것 같아. 어떡하지’ 이러는데 다 하고 나면 엄청 뿌듯한 기분이 든다. 나 자신이 대견하게 느껴진다고나 할까. 한데 코어 힘이 약해 배럴에서 상체 균형을 잡으며 운동할 때마다 너무 힘들다. ⠀ (중략)

🔈요샌 아이돌 그룹 활동을 하면서 개인 활동을 하는 게 자연스러워졌다. 각자 해보고 싶은 게 있나? 🍑Olivia Hye : 일단 ‘이달의 소녀’로서의 목표에 집중하고 싶다. 🍎이브 : 누구나 ‘이달의 소녀’란 이름을 들었을 때 자연스레 엄지를 들어 올리는 그런 그룹이 되고 싶다. 가요사에서 기록적인 부분도 물론 중요하지만, 멤버들 모두 대중에게 인정받고 싶은 마음이 가장 크다.

🔈그룹에 대한 애정이 남다른데, ‘이달의 소녀’가 아닌 개인으로서 생각하는 이상적인 자신의 모습이 있다면? 🍍고원 : 다른 무엇보다 하고 싶은 거 다 하며 즐겁게 살고 싶다. 그러다 내게 정말 잘 맞는 게 있다 싶으면 그 길을 쭉 걸어가면 될 거 같다. 🍑Olivia Hye : 몸도 마음도 건강한 사람이 되고 싶다. 팬들에게도 일종의 선한 영향력을 끼칠 수 있었으면 한다. 🍎이브 : Olivia Hye와 좀 비슷한데, 어떤 일을 하며 받게 된 좋은 영향을 많은 이들에게 다시 돌려주고 싶다. 또 누군가에게 힐링이 되는 존재가 된다면 더할 나위 없이 좋겠다.

🔈옆에 있는 멤버를 칭찬하며 훈훈하게 마무리해 보자. 5자로 간단하게 말해도 좋겠다. 🍍고원 : ‘의.지.력.대.박’. Olivia Hye는 겉으론 티가 잘 안 나는데 알고 보면 자기 관리도 엄청 열심히 하고 연습도 진짜 최선을 다해 한다. 🍑Olivia Hye : ‘믿.고.따.른.다’. 친언니와 네 살 차이가 나는데 이브 언니와 동갑이다. 그래서인지 진짜 우리 언니처럼 잘 지내고 있다. 🍎이브 : 아까 고원이를 계절에 비유하면 ‘겨울’이라 했기에 ‘겨.울.에.핀.꽃’! 🍑Olivia Hye : 헉, 추위를 이겨내고 핀 꽃이니 지독하단 뜻인가? 푸하하하! 🍎이브 : ‘이달의 소녀’로 활동하면서 말 못 할 고민이나 힘든 일이 많았을 텐데도 고원이는 표현을 잘 안 한다. 딱 한 번 데뷔 초에 숙소 침대에서 우는 걸 봤는데, 그때도 장난치는 줄 알았을 정도. 얼핏 장난기가 많아 보이지만 그 시기를 잘 이겨내고 한 살 한 살 먹어가며 더 멋있어져 배울 점이 많은 동생이라고 생각한다.
