ohh nnnnoooOOOOOOOO
oh my god i fucked it up
I got so caught up in the euphoria of fixing the desk problem that it completely slipped past me that I wrote a chapter with Gabe in it during a time where he ISN'T EVEN IN THE COUNTRY
OH MY GODDDDDDDDDD
#he's just that talented - he can be chasing the delgados and helping Mateo pack up his basement at the same time#I know exactly why I messed it up in the first place - I haven't watched the episodes in order since I did the spellbook#so I got too lost in the sauce of the individual episode details and missed some of the big picture stuff#but you think I would've noticed something in the THREE YEARS since I outlined the chapter!!!#okay no this is fine this is fine i can salvage this#it doesn't have to take place *right* after movin' on up it just has to be any time before Sister of Invention#so it could be during the interim between seasons 2 and 3#it's fine it's good it's all okay#christ at least I caught it before I posted it#but now I gotta do rewrites *again*#this chapter is really testing my patience#if one more thing goes wrong with it I'm cancelling the fic!!! Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 53
The TARDIS's blue box exterior slightly changes in appearance due to chameleonic fluctuation. (Novel: St. Anthony's Fire)
The Eleventh Doctor claimed to have a seventh sense - the Finding Evil Sense. (Novel: Magic of the Angels) This would make sense, considering that the Doctor often gets prickling sensations or other odd feelings when he senses something evil nearby.
The Fifth Doctor wore question mark patterned pyjamas. (Novel: Divided Loyalties)
According to the Twelfth Doctor, the three best coffees in the universe are: the ones Sergeant Benton made, the ones made by Elisabeth Pepys, and the ones made by Intergalactic Coffee Roasting Station. (Short story: Lights Out)
The Laika Protocol is the name for the TARDIS protocol that disposes the Doctor's body in case of their death. (Novel: Too Many Hands) This protocol was likely named after how the Relic was disposed in Novel: Alien Bodies.
The Fourth Doctor began writing a series of books called Doctor Who Discovers while he was still associated with UNIT. The Fifth Doctor would later be threatened by the publisher's robot after not completing the series. (Audio: The Kingmaker)
The Thirteenth Doctor absolutely does not like olives, and she'd need weeks to explain why. (Novel: The Good Doctor)
The Fifth Doctor hates celery as a food. He only wears it to detect praxis gases. (Audio: The Gathering)
Clive Flinch had many pictures of people he believed could be different incarnations of the Doctor. One of these was a tall, bald black woman wielding a flaming sword, and another was a young-looking child in a wheelchair with a sonic screwdriver and a K-9 unit. Also included are many photographs of numbered incarnations as well as some of Morbius Doctors. (Novel: Rose)
The Tenth Doctor once had a reaction to praxis gas after disarming a booby-trapped bomb, but he was saved by Elizabeth Garrett Anderson. (Comic: Nurse Who?)
The Entity was a being composed of two minds that had created their own space, termed grey space, and brought the Doctor in for their own amusement. The Doctor convinced them to play Monopoly, so the Entity tested the Doctor, using a bet to determine who plays first. He had seven chances to disable an android, open a door, and evade an imposter version of a companion trying to push him through the door. The Seventh, Sixth, Fifth, Fourth, Third, and Second Doctors all failed the test, being pushed through the door by their respective companion imposters, but the First Doctor passed. (Audio: Seven to One)
The Sixth Doctor traveled to the Dawn of Time and wrote "The Doctor was here" on an early planet shortly before regenerating into his Seventh. (Short story: Gone Too Soon)
The Fourteenth Doctor's kidneys are blue, which is apparently normal. (Comic: Liberation of the Daleks)
The Eleventh Doctor brooded in his TARDIS for several days after being accused of committing deadly crimes. During this time, he imagined all his previous incarnations interrogating him. When he tried to tell his past selves that he always left things better than he had found them, they all turned away and left him in disgust. (Comic: Pull to Open)
River Song's imprisonment in the Stormcage overlapped with the Delgado Master's. (Comic: The Master Plan)

Roadkill: Part One
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Female!Reader
Word Count: ~2.2k
Summary: Someone is using their vehicle to run people over, but why? What compels someone to take another life?
Warnings: canon violence, canon language, canon talk of death, methods of kill
Author’s Note: I do not own anything from Criminal Minds. All credit goes to their respective owners. If there are any warnings that exceed the normal death/kills from the show, I will list them. If you’ve seen the show, then it’s the same level of angst unless otherwise stated
x
"I'm not sure about automobiles. With all their speed forward they may be a step backward in civilization." - Booth Tarkington
You have some time before the briefing to steal away for yourself, and you and Spencer are in the break room alone together. You're leaning against the counter and you pull Spencer in closer to you by his hands. You wrap your arms around his neck and look into his beautiful brown eyes.
"I got us a nice hotel room for the both of us this weekend. It has a fireplace and a really big bathtub that can fit two people. What do you say?" you grin.
"That sounds amazing. We could really use it to get away."
You pull him in closer and kiss him slowly with a hint of tongue. No one else is around to judge you, but that blissful peace doesn't last long. Derek walks into the break room just as you pull away from him.
"I'm telling you right now, we're not leaving the room," you chuckle.
"What are you two talking about?"
"How much hot sex we're going to have over the weekend."
Spencer blushes deep red and Derek laughs as he pours himself some coffee. He caps his cup and walks past Spencer but not before he pats his chest.
"Wrap it before you tap it," he winks.
"It's so easy to get you like this," you smirk and pull away from Spencer. "You're cute when you're flustered. If only they knew what you were like in the bedroom."
"Don't you dare tell them," Spencer gasps when you walk away.
"Yes, sir," you smirk and wink.
Everyone makes their way to the briefing room where JJ is getting set up. Once everyone is in, she puts up pictures of current victims and their crime scenes. This unsub is killing people with his car; that's new.
"An unsub that kills with his car? I haven't seen that before," Emily says.
"Neither have the police in Bend, Oregon which is why they need our help. There have been two victims in the last twelve days. The first victim is Maria Delgado, twenty-three. She was hit on a morning jog. The second victim is Shannon Makely, forty-three. She was stranded on the side of the road when her car broke down.
"What makes the locals think that they were connected?"
"For one thing, they were both backed over after the initial impact. This wasn't an accident. Plus, they matched treads in both scenes. They were large wheels for all terrain. Their wounds also indicated a raised bumper, so they're thinking a large SUV to a truck."
"Do they know the make or model?" you ask.
"No. The tires are made for multiple kinds of vehicles."
"I'll do what I can to see what kind of car it is."
"Were there any witnesses to either incident?"
"No, both victims were attacked in secluded areas."
"Two tons of metal make a hell of a weapon," Derek says.
"Serial killers have been known to become rather attached to their vehicles. Bittaker and Norris even gave theirs a nickname. Murder Mac," Spencer explains.
"Bittaker and Norris were sexual sadists. There's no sign of torture here. This sounds like thrill kills for easy targets randomly selected."
"We need to think about if they're not random. We need to see if there is a connection between the two victims."
"With this type of impact, the vehicle shouldn't be hard to pick out of a lineup. There should be significant front-end damage."
"Somehow I don't think it's gonna be that easy," Rossi shrugs.
"Well, I think it's safe to assume our unsub is male," you say.
"I agree with you, given what we know about aggressive driving and road rage."
"And the fact that men have an unnatural bond with their cars," Emily adds.
"That is true," JJ nods.
"Wait a minute, I don't know about unnatural," Derek says.
"I once dated a guy who washed his car more than he washed his hair," JJ says.
"A nice car needs love."
"A woman doesn't?" you ask Rossi.
"I'm not qualified to answer that."
"I'm just saying a big car is phallic like he's overcompensating for something. Maybe he's impotent. If the unsub sees himself as physically defective, the car not only gives him the power and control he otherwise lacks, but it also serves as a shield."
"Maybe a way to avoid physical contact?" Hotch asks.
"Now we're going in a different direction. Power, control, and female victims equal up to a rape profile."
"Rape and thrill kills are two very different profiles. What does victimology tell us?"
"Nothing, yet. Shannon Makely was a white, married, commodities trader. Maria Delgado was a Hispanic grad student and a competitive tri-athlete."
"So far, gender's our only link. Hopefully, the crime scenes will tell us more."
It takes eight hours to get to Bend, Oregon from where you are, and Detective Quinn is waiting for you, Derek, and Rossi when you arrive. The rest went back to the station to get set up. The crime scene is so new that the blood is still on the ground from where Shannon was hit. You're kind of floored by the energy she left behind, you have to take a moment to gather yourself.
Rossi and Derek immediately talk to the detective while you stay where you are. All the officers and police cars disappear until the only one that's left is Shannon's car. She is stuck on the side of the road after her car broke down, and she's holding her phone up to get a signal to call for help.
She gets out of her car and starts walking in hopes that she catches a connection. She doesn't get far when the unsub comes around the corner. He stops exactly where the tire tracks are found in real-time. Time slows down the second Shannon turns her head toward the unsub. He slams his foot on the gas and lurches forward, still in slow motion. He rams her at full speed, backs over her, hits her again, and speeds off down the road.
You walk closer to the spot where Shannon's car broke down and focus on the big lifted truck instead. You rewind the events until the truck is right beside you. Of course, you can't see anything inside the car. Either the windows are tinted or your abilities can't put together what the inside looks like. Still, even though you can't see inside, you feel the unsub looking at you.
There is no distinctive mark that tells you what make and model this is, but you do know a couple of things. This is a lifted truck that someone put time and effort into, it's black in color, and the taillights are rectangular and small. You replay the events five times before letting the unsub escape. You're not getting anything else off the truck, but you're glad you got this much.
"Tell us about what happened," Derek's words bring you back to reality.
"Shannon lived a little outside of town and was on her way home from work when she broke down."
"So, she breaks down and gets out to start walking. Why not call for help?" Rossi asks.
"There's no service," you say. You point to the tire tracks on the ground. "He made a complete stop here then hit the gas at full speed. He hit her twice and then sped off."
"Full stop in the middle of the road? I take it there's not a lot of traffic out here?"
"Not on this stretch," Detective Quinn says. "Not at that time of day, at least."
"She was done working by three in the afternoon? What did she do?"
"She was a broker that specialized in foreign markets. The time difference made for some odd hours."
"There's something not right," you say.
"What are you thinking about?"
"What are the odds that she breaks down right here? She can't use her phone, there's no traffic, no witnesses, and nowhere to run. It's the perfect place for an ambush."
In the case of Maria Delgado, she was hit while she was jogging. The area in which she was hit is a popular spot for joggers, and not many people can take the stress of that hill. Maria was a tri-athlete that was jogging up there from off the main road. The unsub drove in where he could and ran her down the hill.
That's theory one. Theory two is that he was already there lying in wait. A woman jogging alone would be aware if someone was tailing her. She was the reason he was up there lying in wait like he knew she would be there. These attacks aren't random; they all have some significance to the unsub, which means they can be connected.
Once finished at Shannon's crime scene, you headed back to the police station to talk with the other half of the team.
"The only thing I got from his car is that it's a lifted truck that someone put time and effort into, it's black in color, and the taillights are rectangular and small," you say after you explain what you saw. "I also think he may have targeted these women. They have to be connected."
"That takes thrill kill off the table."
"Why, because the murders were planned in advance?" Quinn asks.
"Yeah, this type of stalking behavior indicates a personal motive. There's a reason he chose these victims. He knows their work schedules, jogging routes, and drive patterns. That would explain how he knew where to strike."
"It explains Maria. She was on a run, but he couldn't have known Shannon's car was gonna break down out there."
"Did you look at her car?"
"The guys at the impound lot said the water pump blew. They said it's a common enough problem."
"We should look at it. I might be able to get something off it," you say.
"Why don't you and Rossi head over there, and let me know what you find out," Hotch says.
You and Rossi head over to the impound lot to see Shannon's car. There isn't a lot of damage to it externally since the unsub didn't hit it. However, the deeper they went, the more they found the problem of why it stopped. No one else can see this, but you see two legs sticking out from underneath the car. The legs have the same energy as the energy you saw at her crime scene.
The unsub tampered with her car which is why he knew it would stop in that location.
"Can you tell us what the problem is?" Rossi asks.
"We figured it was the water pump because it was pretty much melted, but we didn't prepare for this."
The mechanic shows that there is a clear cut in one of the tubes inside the engine.
"This car is pretty new. This wouldn't be normal wear and tear, right?"
"No. The rest of the line is in good condition. Someone punctured it. You can tell from the smooth edge."
"How did they do it?"
"Probably reached a blade right through the grille with a penknife or something like that."
"They wouldn't have even had to pop the hood. If she drove away without water in the radiator, it explains the overheating."
"Could somebody possibly gauge how far she could have traveled with the car in this condition?"
"Someone who knows cars could make an educated guess, sure."
"Thank you." You and Rossi walk away from the mechanic. "The unsub did this to her car. He screwed with it. I saw his legs from underneath his car. He must have gone from the bottom instead of through the grille."
"Sabotage. He's more focused than we thought. He's well-organized and highly motivated."
"By what, though? What do these women have in common? They're all of different ages, appearances, and social class. He's not hunting a specific type. Their only connection is the unsub. There has to have been contact before the attacks."
"We profiled a guy who's afraid of contact. The truck's a shield," Rossi says.
"Maybe the contact's incidental. There's something he perceives in their exchange, something about his perception triggers his fixation. It could be the way she looks at him, something she says, or even something as trivial as what she's wearing."
So far, the team has narrowed down the lifted truck to an older model that's American made. He must have removed all emblems from the car so it'd be harder to track the car to him. One way you can narrow down the list is to send what you have to the DMV, but you're going to waste a lot of paper that way. The truck is only going to get you so far, so you have to build on the profile if you want to catch him.
Some things you know about the unsub are that he's mechanically inclined since he certainly knows his way around an engine, and he's strong enough to pull out dents in his car from each accident if he's fixing the damage to his car. Both victims were killed during office hours, so he must have a flexible work schedule or none at all. If he's stalking someone and getting to know their schedule, he has to put aside a lot of time for that.
Why did he start doing this in the first place? If he doesn't have a job, then losing it could have been the stressor. Eight percent of this state is out of work recently. You need to look for men who are employed as mechanics, work in a body shop, and have criminal records for reckless driving and assault. Two murders in two weeks isn't much of a cooling-off period, so he's not going to wait for another opportunity to present itself.
He's gonna create one, and soon. You just didn't think it'd be this soon.

here are some videos i need to make for YouTube because no one else will do it right:
1. you're an idiot if you think the Patterson Footage is convincing
2. the channel 5 Selena Delgado picture isn't "unsettling", you're just 17 years old and have never seen a xerox before
3. stop saying "let's get into it". I'll kill you (this one is just a four hour clip compilation of YouTubers saying "let's get into it")
4. no one actually understands portal 1 and 2 except me
5. none of you know how to use "I" and "me" correctly but it's actually super easy and i can teach you to do it right every time (this video is 30 seconds long)

Change My Dears
We have made the decision to make the podcast fortnightly so as to ensure we carry on and produce the best possible show we can. Amber's work hours have been increased, and Ciarán is taking on more podcast teaching and voice work. With these changes to our personal lives, we need more time to fit in watching, reading, researching, recording, and editing. Trying to record one episode while editing another every week is a lot of work, especially if there is also a novelisation to read. It was getting to a point where both my (Amber) days off were dedicated completely to PAC. I would like to have some time to myself on one of these days, so moving to fortnightly will allow that. I just want to be clear that I love this project, and want to give it the attention it deserves instead of rushing through for the sake of generating as much content as possible. This change starts now, with our next episode dropping next wednesday.
Secondly: It was recently announced that there will be incoming changes to Patreon, so we've made the decision to close ours. We want to thank everyone who supported us here but especially Matt, Cori, and Gaz for being so wonderful.
The Third and final point is somewhat of an anticlimax. With the closure of Patreon we will still have the urge to create things which don't fit in our podcast feed, if on a less regular basis. To that end we will have a Youtube Channel up and running by the end of the month.
Thank you everyone who has supported us this far by taking the time to listen, comment, rate, and telling your friends about us!
If you're still reading, here's a picture of Roger Delgado looking cute as your reward:

This has been in my drafts for ages, but in honour of 10 years since Death in Heaven aired, and my rewatch, which reminded me of this, I thought I'd finish it.
Okay, so I am such a sucker for the Master losing their composure, just for a moment (although sometimes longer). Something happens, and Master.exe stops working.
There's the graveyard scene in Death in Heaven, which I have spoken about at length and is (at time of writing) my profile picture. The first cracks show with "I need you to know we're not so different! I need my friend back," but then the Doctor kisses Missy, and she's lost for a good few minutes.
There's the moment in The Magician's Apprentice where she realises they're on Skaro and you see and hear the utter terror that she can't quite disguise. She takes a step backwards as though that might help.
There's a moment in End of Time during the showdown between The Doctor, The Master and Rassilon. He's goading the Doctor, challenging him to shoot, but the second he thinks he might actually do it, there's a sudden moment of vulnerability and he gives that little shake of the head.
There's that moment when Delgado!Master gets really worried because he thinks he's killed Three in Mind of Evil
There may be more examples, but it's been a while since I last watched Classic!Masters and don't recall beyond that one. I'll get to them in my Classic watch through eventually, but I'm still on Hartnell at the moment!
I don't know where I'm going with this really, I'm just an absolute sucker for those moments!
#best enemies#missy#gomez!master#twissy#simm!master#delgado!master#if you have further examples please add them#the master#Doctor who

The Survivors (Part 1)
In alphabetical order.
The photos and some of the information are from Sociedad de la Nieve
Born on April 19th 1948, “Fito” Strauch used to play for the Old Christians rugby team, but he didn’t at the time of the crash. He was invited on the trip by his cousin Eduardo Strauch.
He was part of the trio known as “the cousins” (Fito, Eduardo and Daniel Fernandez). Fito and Eduardo were double cousins, as their mothers were sisters and their fathers were brothers, whose sister was Daniel’s mother.
The cousins played an essential leadership role in the mountains, as they took the responsibility of cutting the meat off the dead bodies and rationing the portions.
Fito had many brilliant ideas. The boys had a hard time melting snow, as shaking handfuls in a bottle was far too arduous and tiring in the rarefied air of the mountains. Fito figured out that each plane seat had a piece of aluminum that could be folded into a device filled with snow, which was then left in the sun to melt. The resulting water would then be poured into a bottle.
He also came up with the idea of tying seat cushions to their feet so they could walk on snow without sinking to their waist. As if those were not enough, he manufactured sunglasses with pieces of nylon taken from the seats and glass cut from the front windows of the plane (the ones in the cockpit, which were a shade darker than the windows in the cabin)
Born on November 1st 1947, “Pancho” Delgado was a law student. He was invited on the trip by his friend Gaston Costemalle, who played for the Old Christians rugby team.
Due to his eloquence, the other survivors asked him to address the journalists in the press conference held upon their return to Uruguay and explain their decision to eat the bodies of their dead friends.
The book “Alive” by Piers Paul Read paints an unfavorable picture of Pancho, claiming he already had a “lawyer’s mind” and hoarded food behind everyone’s back. In his own book, however, fellow survivor Nando Parrado comes to his defense, saying that all survivors - due to the desperate circumstances they found themselves in - tried to take advantage of the others at some point, but Pancho was resented the most because he got away with it more often.
Pancho had a girlfriend at the time of the crash, Susana Sartori. The couple eventually got married and had four children (María Federica, Alfredo, Joaquín and Agustina).
Born on March 31st 1953, Alvaro wasn’t part of the team nor did he attend the Stella Maris private school as most of the survivors. He knew some of the other passengers on a superficial level, as they lived in the same rich neighborhood in Montevideo. I have yet to find out why he was on the trip at all, but as soon as I do I’ll update you guys.
He broke his left leg when the plane crashed. Fellow survivor Roberto Canessa, a medical student, did his best to put the bones back into their places. Throughout the 72 days, Alvaro remained close to Canessa, who was very protective of him.
Alvaro had a girlfriend at the time of the crash, Margarite Arocena. The couple got married and had four children.
Born on July 24th 1953, “Tintín” played rugby for the Old Christians and stood out for his physical strength. His volatile personality caused some fights, but he never questioned the group’s decisions.
Because of his strength, Tintín was initially enrolled as one of the survivors who were to leave the fuselage in search of help. After three days, however, his fellow expeditionaries (Roberto Canessa and Nando Parrado) realized the trip was gonna be much longer than anticipated and sent Tintín back to the fuselage so they could keep his portions of meat.
Born on November 23rd 1951, Bobby was a Stella Maris alumnus and played for Old Christians. He had a very passive attitude towards the whole ordeal, as if he didn’t care whether he lived or died. As soon as the fuselage stopped its descent down the mountainside, Bobby exited the wreckage, sat on the snow and lit a cigarette.
He melted snow when the others forced him to, but didn’t do much else. When the cousins threatened to cut off his supply of meat, Bobby shrugged and said “That seems fair”.
Bobby had six children (Roberto, Federico, Sofía, Josefina, Milagros and Diego) and now lives a quiet life as a farmer.
Born on October 31st 1953, Carlitos was the son of a famous Uruguayan painter, Carlos Páez Villaró, who searched non-stop for the wreckage of the plane and did not rest until his son was found.
Carlitos was a very spoiled boy (he had a nanny!), but the experience in the Andes built his character and soon enough he was in charge of important tasks such as building a wall made of chairs and suitcases to protect the severed fuselage from the cold and praying the rosary every night with his companions. He also knew how to sew, which came in handy when the survivors decided to make a sleeping bag for the expeditionaries.
Several years after the accident, Carlitos struggled with addiction, but he fortunately bounced back. He has two children, Maria Elena de los Andes and Carlos Diego (named after his deceased friends Gustavo Diego Nicholich and Diego Storm).
Born on February 12th 1946, Daniel is the second oldest survivor. He was unharmed in the crash.
As previously mentioned, Daniel and his cousins played a key leadership role after the death of team captain Marcelo Perez. Daniel’s serenity, in particular, calmed the others down when fights erupted.
Born on August 13th 1947, Eduardo was a Stella Maris alumnus and confounder of the Old Christians, as well as a former player. Nicknamed “the German” due to his ancestry, he was an Architecture student and the most worldly of the group, as he had previously traveled to Europe.
Eduardo invited his cousins Adolfo Strauch and Daniel Fernandez on the trip.
Stay tuned for PART 2!

What I've been doing, art wise
I've got some pictures I haven't shared on here yet and they're all sort of related, in that they're all tied to the slowly getting there Libertatia fic about a Wild West Birthday party.
first up is a picture of Doc Melody and Delgado posing for a pic on Sophie's request
just off camera you can hear Bella and Sam joking about how proud they are these two have graduated from their get-along shirt to this. Just think, a year ago she had him pinned by the throat with his own pistol pointed at his head...how times have changed.
Next is a portrait of Manny, Delgado's nibling/ward in the stories. Manny is Del's younger sister's oldest child.
Manny is 16 and living at the ranch with Del and the family. They help out around the farm while finishing up some distance learning courses. There's a lot of pent up rage in that teen that the pirates will need to get under control if they don't want a powder keg.
Finally we have what I'm calling Scary Movie Night.
Cora: See this is why you don't break protocol. He was clearly infected and should not have been allowed back on the ship. Manny: *trying not to wake their cousin down the hall*
Cora is freshly 15 with the second fic and has been spending a lot of time with Manny. And she's also completely unphased by scary movies meanwhile Manny is mighty thankful they decided to leave the popcorn on the end table...

Fandom: Starfield
Pairing: Delgado x OC
Chapter rating: M
Chapter: 7
This is part 3 and the final part of the Bannoc IV chapters. More on AO3 or start at the Beginning.
It’s late and alcohol buzzes in his veins as he palms the nav table with slumped shoulders. There’s a brunette sucking him off that he’d brought back from The Last Nova. It’s been three weeks of worrying and he needs to find pockets of relaxation. So, the brunette offered relief and a blow job’s a blow job. He’s never been too picky about it before. But this one? It’s not that it’s bad and it could be categorized as pretty good. It’s just not—it simply is not her. It’s not great.
Delgado grits his teeth together and vacantly stares as the red lights in the command center flicker. Fucking annoying. He’s losing focus. But he shouldn’t have to concentrate this hard. It’s a goddam blow job. Shouldn’t he be thoughtless and less tense by now? Maybe if he just imagines the mischievous glint in her eyes or the feel of her teal strands in his grasp the tension might unravel. He closes his eyes to paint her picture but it’s blocked by flickering orange behind his eyelids. Flicker. Flicker. Suck. The suction is pleasurable but his mind is so fickle, and he falls flaccid with the languid lathing of the pirate’s tongue. Fuck, he can’t even remember this one’s name.
He backs up and tugs her off. Teeth scrape against sensitive skin and he winces. “Go.”
“But I—”
Raised finger like the reaper, he points at the fated door, his pants bunching around his ankles. The pirate doesn’t even huff right as they saunter from the room. Delgado yanks up his pants, and strolls those few steps to the exit. He marches down the stairs to the command center. There’s not a single glance spared in the direction of the displaced pirate.
The trip to ship services is the same as always minus the interruptions from Murdock. Instead of entering Jazz’s space though, he leans over the counter like any regular customer, waiting for her to notice him at the window. Eyes on her computer screen only, she doesn’t see him there.
He taps the ‘ring for service’ bell once and its jingle echoes throughout the atrium. “Have you heard—”
Jazz sighs and cuts him off. “No, still haven’t heard anything from your precious pirate.” Her brows furrow as she continues typing, the glow of the computer screen highlighting her annoyance.
Naeva barked out a laugh. “Your little friend probably ran off with the money by now. Do you really think someone who steals from you every chance she gets is going to suddenly become loyal? What reason does she have to bring it back here?”
“I hate to agree with Naeva on this one boss,” Jazz says while her fingers clack against the keys. She briefly glances up at him.
“You agree because deep down you know I’m right.” Naeva folds her arms across her chest, leveling a hardened stare at Delgado. “I say you hunt the bitch down and take back what’s ours.”
“Alright, Naeva. That’s enough,” Del says, his tone remaining cool and even. “Jazz. Ready my ship.”
A small smile graces Naeva’s lips and she almost nods approval. “I am leaving The Key in both of your hands while I am away.”
“You are leaving it in good hands.” Naeva’s smile grows bigger.
“Oh and Jazz, I need my ship prepped for Bannoc IV.”
Naeva’s face falls and the clacking of the keys ceases.
“You have got to be fucking joking,” Naeva says, throwing her hands up in the air in disbelief.
“I mean, I do have prototypes of both the ComSpike and conduction grid but they are just that. They are prototypes. I can’t guarantee your safety.”
“I do not tell you often but you should know that I have great faith in your capabilities, Jazz. I do not need the concern. I simply need my ship outfitted with what you have.” He turns away.
“Del,” Naeva reaches out to grasp his wrist.
“I know what you are going to say. But I need you to trust me on this one. Just one last time.”
Naeva releases his wrist with a sigh. “Fine but if you don’t come back—”
“I trust you and the others to take care of the fleet. If I don’t come back, you can say I told you so to the ghost of my memory.”
“Ha. Real funny,” Naeva says, shaking her head.
Jazz sighs. “Well, if you’re sure.”
“I am sure,” Delgado states without hesitation. “So outfit my ship while I gather a crew.”
He exits, heading back to the bunks. Hopefully, he will be able to scrounge up his usual crew and they won’t be too drunk or high.

15 lines of Dialogue game
As ive been away for the weekend, not sure if anyone tagged me with this but saw it open tag so here we go. Tagging @vorchagirl @despicablediet and anyone who'd like to do it! 15 Lines of Dialogue Rules: Share 15 or fewer lines of dialogue from an OC, ideally lines that capture the character/personality/vibe of the OC. Bonus points for just using the dialogue without other details about the scene, but you're free to include those as well! Since i've written the most with Seren Jones, I shall pick her for this!
1 -"Maybe I am, but there isn’t anything left in this universe worth staying for. Whatever is in the next universe has to be better than this one Barrett, it has to. I can't bare to stay here any more, not without him, not when I could have done it so differently."
2 - "Cora… she was there, saw her dad die…She hated me, blamed me for not saving him. After the funeral, Lillian took her and that was the last I ever saw that wonderful twelve year old. I realised then I had no reason to stay in my universe as everything i loved had been taken from me. I hoped maybe another would give me a second chance. To fix things..to try again…
…That’s why I do this.”
3 - "I came here the first time with no preconception of what I’d find. I was in awe at the location, just as you are now. But what I learned here has guided my hand in relation to how I see the Artifacts, how I see Unity and the Starborn. Anyone who wants to complete the Artifact collection, needs to know the full story for themselves.”
4- "Now you see how dangerous this place is, and this is just the start. The Starborn Guardians here have lost all empathy, all compassion, their humanity in pursuit of their cause. They have nothing left in their existence except to stop anyone else reaching the Temple. …I sometimes wonder what is the point of their existence before I wipe them out of it for good.”
5 -”You washed them clean. I can say one good thing about Lillian in that she gave you the chance to do that. You’re not the same man, Sam.”
6 -”They makes me smile every time I come back here. But I’m not entirely alone, the fish there get a view unlike any other.” She pointed to the couple of little fish swimming in their tanks, sitting right at the edge of the massive view screen. “If you don’t mind taking care of them for me, they’ve been a good little crew, never complained once.”
7 - "I've never met you before. Until today I'd never met a single pirate here." That was the truth, if a little stretched Seren thought.
8 -"All this, this universe is a nightmare. I've been to so many variations and… You… everyone here is so different, so wrong. It’s like Unity decided to show me the worst outcome possible just to make me appreciate who I’d - what I’d lost.”
9 -"Neat trick, have to remember that next time I'm in a hell-hole universe."
10 -"Sorry, Sam, just picturing you over Vlad’s head brought on images of you in ballet tights and…yeah, sorry, I have too much imagination.”
11 - "Yes, justice, Delgado. See that’s behind most things I do now. In this case justice for those your fucking coloured coded Spacers have harmed- have murdered. It’s interesting really how far I got here without anyone realising who I really am... I wondered why no one noticed the SIN of my ship. Even Jess surprisingly. It was a gamble using it of course…But no one ever clocked that I was flying the Razorleaf."
12- “Until I knew for sure you felt the same way I did, I wasn’t sure how to really act around you. But now I know, expect more of this, Sam Coe.”
13 - “You know I would! I mean she called me darlin, you know that makes me melt.”
14 - "…He always said he was bad with words, yet he could say things that were like love poetry to me, that would dazzle me. He was so open with his feelings when he trusted you. Funny, absurd sometimes and he cared deeply and loved passionately. He was an amazing father and I-"
15 - "I've no idea. Being Starborn didn't exactly come with a manual."
