IMPORTANT: 1200 BALLOTS FROM PHILADELPHIA HAVE ALREADY BEEN REJECTED DUE TO VARIOUS ERRORS. Voters need to check with their elections office or at the site above (for Philadelphia) to ensure that their ballot was not rejected. If it was rejected, they need to contact their elections office ASAP for options to ensure their vote can be counted. Other Pennsylvania voters should proactively check with their elections offices NOW as well since some counties ARE NOT REQUIRED TO INFORM VOTERS THAT THEIR BALLOT WAS REJECTED. Pennsylvania ballot tracker here: https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/Pages/BallotTracking.aspx If you know anyone in Pennsylvania who is eligible to vote, check on them and help them out.

"We are here on a very important day, before a very important election and we are here, more than anything, to speak about protection of an election, making sure that the election that occur tomorrow will be free, will be fair and it will be final," [Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner] said.
He said that the task force, which, Krasner, a Democrat, noted was operating on a non-partisan basis -- "We do not care who gets your vote. We care that you get to vote," he promised -- would be on the lookout for any election concerns throughout the day.
Though they don't believe there will be issues, Krasner said the task force will be looking out for "people working in polls or close to polls who will bring frivolous challenges to voters."
"Anybody who thinks they are going to play those games in Philadelphia, you're going to do it in bad faith -- I got no problem with doing it in good faith -- but, if you're going to do it in bad faith, there is an election court, there are judges, they have orders and, those orders are going to say, in essence, 'get out of the polling places,'" he said. "Anybody who doesn't get out, you're going to be arrested."
And, he warned that anyone who think it's will be fun as they plan to interfere in Tuesday's elections, they might find out otherwise.
"You can have your fun in a jail cell, cause that's what's coming," he said.
In fact, Krasner took a moment to superficially warn anyone who has any plans to interfere with the city's electoral process -- like the two men who came to the city and were arrested after being found with weapons outside the Pennsylvania Convention Center when votes were being tallied there in 2020 -- would simply 'F around and find out."
"Anybody who thinks it's time to play militia, F around and find out. Anybody who thinks it's time to insult, to deride, to mistreat, to threaten people, F around and find out," said Krasner. "We do have the cuffs, we do have the jail cells, we do have the Philly juries and we have the state prisons. So, if you're going to turn the election into some form of coercion, if you're going to try to bully people, bully votes or voters, if you're going to try to erase votes, if you're going to try any of that nonsense, F around and find out."

Humanity vs Evil
The difference between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is that Trump’s flaws come from a disordered personality and from hatred. Kamala’s flaws come from her humanity. She is human. She is real. She is compassionate and courageous and yeah she did flub up a few interviews as vice president. Because she is a good and genuine human being. She’s been accused of not knowing where she stands because she stands out by not giving the simple easy answers that we crave. She understands the nuance to important issues. Most things are not all or nothing. That is a cognitive bias that all human beings are prone to, but we must fight it. All you have to do to understand who Kamala Harris is, is to read her book. She cares deeply for others and she cares deeply for diversity and justice. When she falls down, because she is human, she fights and gets back up. The things she is criticized for, her joy, her laughter, her occasionally imperfect interviews, her complex view of issues etc., are all things that prove her humanity. We need her leadership. America is a beautiful and wonderful place but we have our skeletons. We have our prejudices. We need to fight them. We need to move towards unity.
Donald Trump has abandoned his humanity a long time ago. I’d argue he abandoned it when Barack Obama became president. He believed his birth certificate conspiracy would have prevented a black man from becoming president, and it didn’t. He knew it was a racist conspiracy. His own mother was an immigrant. It wasn’t about Obama’s father being an immigrant. It was about the color of his skin.
Let’s make the right choice this November. Let’s choose unity. Let’s choose cohesion. Let’s choose justice. Let’s choose a person who does genuinely care about our economic well being.

^^^ The current state of the Republican Party expressed in one headline.
And it's from the Philadelphia Inquirer – the largest newspaper in the largest city of the largest swing state.
Kristi Noem is certainly a greater danger to pets than legal Haitian immigrants.
Maybe Noem is in Pennsylvania instead of South Dakota because she's been banned by Native tribes from their extensive territories for making racist and defamatory comments about them. There's probably more square mileage in Pennsylvania where Noem can currently roam legally.

LATROBE, Pa. — When fascism finally went mainstream in America, it came hawking a $60 made-in-China Bible and shadowed by a 50-foot American flag braced by construction cranes — and it opened with a story about Arnold Palmer’s private parts. I’d driven nearly five hours into and under the Allegheny ridges of Western Pennsylvania — up and down slopes that got steeper each mile with the volume of Donald Trump flags and yard signs that proclaimed “I’m Voting for the Convict 2024″ — out of a sense that the decline and fall of American civilization has reached a depth that I needed to personally bear witness. It was a fever dream — maybe I could find words that have eluded everyone else. Just six days earlier, Trump came to the Philly suburbs and turned a supposed town hall into a 39-minute dance party as his deeply confused crowd watched a once and wannabe future U.S. president sway awkwardly to Sinead O’Connor and Luciano Pavarotti or look utterly frozen in the bubble of his 78-year-old head. And yet when the alarm goes off the next morning, it’s still Groundhog Day in America, an election with a 50% chance of the music-trance guy winning. Something both incredibly momentous and weird is happening at the same time. Now, the sun was nearly setting over the runway at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport. With the most consequential U.S. presidential election since 1860 just 17 days away, about 3,000 to 4,000 of the most die-hard MAGA Trump fans who weren’t exhausted by the campaign and the GOP candidate’s frequent visits to Steelers’ country had been waiting for hours on a sunbaked tarmac. They’d let out the obligatory whoop for the obligatory flyover of Trump Force One, and then finally the man tasked with bringing their country back was on the podium, filtered by bulletproof glass. Donald Trump’s red meat of mass-deportation camps and R-rated attacks on his opponents would have to wait. Monday’s DJ was now Saturday night’s comedian, with his cult as captive audience. What started out as an obligatory shout-out to Latrobe’s famous native son — Palmer, the late great golfer who brought the sport to your TV screens in the 1960s — went on for five minutes, then 10, then 12. What started as a nice but meandering tale about Palmer’s working-class roots grew into a stone silence during long detours into stuff like types of golf club shafts as the tale grew increasingly instead about Trump — about how his own power and wealth allowed him to claim friendship with this great man. You are standing in the twilight wondering if this could get any stranger when of course it did. The man who bragged in his first campaign that he could shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue and people would still vote for him now wants America to know he can tell a penis joke with the cameras rolling and still get elected as the 47th president. [...] So I came to Latrobe to try and write the 72-point headline that the Times editors can’t — “PHALLUS-JOKE MAN AND DANCING FOOL COULD LEAD THE FREE WORLD AGAIN” — and to scream at the top of my lungs from the bluffs overlooking this tiny airport that this would-be emperor telling the shower story is actually wearing no clothes. Who will shout that Trump’s “closing argument” is the melding of his increasingly public breakdown with how that might lead to an all-too-real domestic war of midnight raids and armored personnel carriers against the fiction of an “Occupied America”? Ironically, Trump’s endless Arnold Palmer bit seemed part of an effort Saturday night to prove that the rambling candidate is not “exhausted,” something that his own aides reportedly said after several recent interviews were canceled. But the Republican nominee — kind of like Madonna’s “Sex” phase and shock photos when her 1980s were ending — also appeared to sense that he needs to get more and more outrageous to get attention, after numbing America to his Hitlerian language that immigrants “will cut your throat.”
Will Bunch at The Philadelphia Inquirer on Donald Trump's Latrobe rally (10.20.2024)
Will Bunch wrote in The Philadelphia Inquirer about Donald Trump’s fascist insultfest in Latrobe, PA in which he infamously obsessed about Arnold Palmer.

If you voted by mail in a swing state, go online, track your vote, make sure you were counted.
Votes are still being counted, but if you live in Philly, Detroit, Milwaukee, Maricopa County (AZ), etc, call your local elections official and ask for a recount by hand
If your vote went from "recieved" to not counted, call your local elections office today.
If your vote in AZ was rejected, make sure you call in order to cure your ballot.
If voted in person, also call your elections office and request a recount by hand.
You're only going to have this opportunity for a short time.
Check your ballot status:
Find and contact your local election official:

Big, big energy for Harris and Walz coming onto stage together! They look chummy with each other already, bumping arms and pointing out particular parts of the audience out to each other. Kamala Harris is speaking first.
Wow, those Harris-Walz signs didn't take long to get made! The audience behind the podium had WE WIN signs while Shapiro was out, and now I see Harris-Walz signs joining them.
Opening with hellos and thank yous, then announcing that she officially has the DNC nomination.
Fucking historic
