Guys imma break your hearts but hear me out-
What if F!Leo got back in time after Raph’s been captured?
And what if F!Leo deems it impossible to save Raph and the next option that’s “merciful” is to kill him “better than leaving him a slave to the Krang”?
What if F!Leo lies about saving Raph cause he knows the younger version of his bros won’t stand for it?
What if young Leo wasn’t gonna let that shit slide and ain’t gonna let F!Leo touch Raph?
What if F!Leo is hit by the realization that he actually considered killing the young version of his big bro after seeing young Leo save him?
What if he’s also hit by the realization he could’ve saved so many lives in his own tl that he just killed cause he thought they couldn’t be saved?

Yeah I’ve been haunted by these thoughts and I ain’t gonna suffer alone so you guys gotta suffer with me

My Dark Odessa
Tumblr media
“I was the shadow of the waxwing slain By the false azure in the windowpane; I was the smudge of ashen fluff—and I Lived on, flew on, in the reflected sky.”
-Vladimir Nabokov, Pale Fire-
The battered lines of one voice to another are still drawn as sacrosanct. Speak. Valentine yourself, by all means, native to the fruit—the fell swoop of russet leaves, a grief that can’t be gone. If love is love, then I am here forever.

✎❏Perspective Studies Redo✐❏
I am really happy with my progress in perspective drawing. It's getting easier being able to tackle these types of drawings. Anyway, the lines are many and I am tired lol!

There is no such thing as a stupid question.
There are only questions, and people too stupid to realize that the answer that seems so obvious to them, may not be as obvious to others.

sick for Valentine's Day, which is one step up from last year when the guy who dumped me literally less than a week ago showed up at my bar with his new girl. 💀

In art of the dragon prince, it said that unicorns were impossible to hunt
Hi again. I've learned never to fully trust any wording in the TDP universe at this point. Not in a "that's not true" sort of way, but more in a "there's other ways to catch a unicorn besides hunting it/what aren't they telling us" way.
A lifetime ago, I wrote an original short story where a horny virgin recruited a band of hunters to bag themselves a unicorn, used herself as bait to befriend it, and then signaled them to kill it. The second they'd claimed their prize, she jumped one of the hot himbo hunters.
I guess what I'm saying is, I wouldn't consider tricking and hunting the same kind of approach, but the unicorn can still end up dead.

Meanwhile, UNESCO is recommending banning smartphones from schools, which is a much simpler, precisely targeted intervention, proven to be very effective at reversing exactly the negative impacts on young people the people championing KOSA say they're trying to address.
Reject legislating vast, sweeping changes to basic internet infrastructure that aren't well targeted to the problems they're intended to solve, and may have huge unintended impacts on the economy and online safety of adults and minors alike.
Consider supporting smartphone bans in schools and the NetChoice alliance's new SHIELD campaign for more direct, targeted interventions in improving minors' online safety and giving concerned adults better tools to deal with bad actors trying to abuse, monetize, or otherwise take advantage of minors on- and offline.
“KOSA wont pass, it got rejected the last two times!”
It wasn’t passed because people spoke out against it. People called and emailed their senators. So, CALL / EMAIL YOUR SENATORS. MAKE IT KNOWN THAT WE DO NOT WANT THIS BILL TO PASS!
“But its unconstitutional-“ There’ve been multiple bills passed before that are unconstitutional. This will not be any different to them, they do not care.
STOP KOSA!!!

Intimicy (灬♥ω♥灬)
Lilith used to be a loner - as a child and at her early days in Night City. She barely made enough money for a living until she entered Arasaka as a very low maintenace worker. Her life improved when her talent for netrunning was discovered by someone way higher up than her in Counter Intelligence (by pure accident). He got her introduced to Goro as well - and she finally found something she could call a family again. For a time she is blindly loyal to Arasaka, since she owed everything she is - and all the loved ones in her life - to that very company...
I still really wish we get a full design of Goros cybernetics someday...

From the Shadows of Evolution
Tumblr media
“Art is the activity that exalts and denies simultaneously. ‘No artist tolerates reality,’ says Nietzsche. That is true, but no artist can get along without reality. Artistic creation is a demand for unity and a rejection of the world. But it rejects the world on account of what it lacks and in the name of what it sometimes is. Rebellion can be observed here in its pure state and in its original complexities. Thus art should give us a final perspective on the content of rebellion.”
-Albert Camus, The Rebel: An Essay on Man in Revolt-
Somewhere in the recesses of self, we defy gravity. The defining words for all things hover, after all. We create, construct, reconstruct; elicit conduits unseen. We are keepers, makers. We are wholly ours but given nonetheless. In that long pour, think—it’s not the body that gets undressed. As Camus writes:
“The symphonies of nature know no rests. The world is never quiet; even its silence eternally resounds with the same notes, in vibrations that escape our ears. As for those that we perceive, they carry sounds to us, occasionally a chord, never a melody. Music exists, however, in which symphonies are completed, where melody gives its form to sounds that by themselves have none, and where, finally, a particular arrangement of notes extracts from natural disorder a unity that is satisfying to the mind and the heart.”
Sometimes a hum, sometimes a roar, the impetus drives us, outward bound and inward leaning. And I ask, Is this right? Normal? Place as in the paradox, my space of fertile ground? I know, of course, as do you in all the ways we polyglot the same language; speak as one in foundational form though separate as voice.
“Art disputes reality, but does not hide from it,” Camus maintains. So I grasp, reach, find you there—in me, with me, the “living transcendence” I’ve learned is where I’m yours. Verse and meaning; the quiet revolution between split ribs and cardiac rhythms; crimes of logic, crimes of passion. For us, connection is the breach. And applied just right, we’re sentenced to be free.

But there's a big difference between not getting how something works versus insisting that it doesn't.
I gotta say, so much queer intra-community horseshit dropped off my shoulders when I decided to adopt a firm policy that everyone is the expert in their own identity, the single most knowledgeable person about what it's like to live life in their own skin, and that if someone describes their experience in ways I find contradictory or paradoxical I should do them the courtesy of presuming that they are striving to express something very specific and nuanced, rather than leaping to the conclusion that they're just dumb and using words wrong.
Sure, there are some combinations of identity terms that I look at and go "hmm, I don't get how that works." I'm still a human being. But there's a big difference between not getting how something works versus insisting that it doesn't.
