Hi!!! If you're still taking requests, can you do a bodyguard headcanon for the LADS boys pls and thanks 🙏
After talking to @ballorawan740 a little more, an extra detail added for the request was that MC was hired as a bodyguard for a young girl by their family. So I made all the men single dads for this HC. IDK who had they this child with or how it happened, just go with it.
Hey Miss Bodyguard...
Zayne:
He's a rich, famous, doctor stretched thin. He hadn't expected being a single dad would be this challenging. Being the youngest person to win the Starcatcher award was no small feat after all.
His fear stems from his refusal to work with Ever. He's terrified that they'll take his daughter as leverage.
He holds interviews of course, because how else can he find the best person to keep his little girl safe? When you walk in, he feels a connection that was absent with the other candidates. You got along easily with his child, and it was obvious that you cared for her more than beyond seeing her as a paycheck.
He keeps things professional and beyond offering you a drop home at night or sometimes bringing takeout, he mostly keeps to himself, but he's drawn to the way you spend time with his daughter. He sees how happy she is around you, and he's confident in your abilities to keep her safe.
It's his daughter that points out he likes you. "Miss...I think my daddy like you!" she'll say matter-of-factly while she gets her shoes on for school. Zayne nearly chokes on his coffee, his ears turning red as you stifle a laugh behind your hands, ushering her out the door. Later that day, Zayne calls asking if it would be all right if he asked you to dinner. You accept of course, because how could anyone resist the stoic, handsome, doctor with the cute daughter?
Sylus:
Sylus has a never-ending list of reasons as to why he needed a bodyguard for his daughter. He was the leader of an organized crime group after all, and there were several people who would gladly claim his head on a platter.
He tried to entrust Luke and Kieran but after an almost near accident at a gun range he decided maybe they weren't the best choice.
His daughter is suspicious of you when Sylus hires you. You simply looked out of place in the N109 zone and part of her didn't feel like you were 'one of them'. She would constantly complain to Mephisto and insist uncle Luke and uncle Kieran weren't that bad, and that they were sorry about the gun range incident.
You finally gain her trust when you teach her how to shoot soda cans with your hunter's gun. She's impressed and says you're not a bad shot, the highest compliment she could think of.
She expresses her approval to her dad and says to him, "daddy, she can outshoot you. You should shoot guns together." Sylus who is tossing a salad for their meal glances at you thoughtfully just as you're about to walk out the door. "Is that so? Well, what does our bodyguard think?" You'll freeze for a minute and retort that you had to think about it and leave. Sylus smiles reassuringly at his daughter. "That's a yes."
Xavier:
Xavier decides to ask you to be his daughter's bodyguard after finding out there are traitors amongst the Backtrackers. Their anger at him for deciding to stay in this timeline with his daughter knew no bounds. He feared they would kidnap her and attempt to fly back to dying Philos. They'd never make it, he knew, given the condition of their spaceship. His bigger concern was them getting stuck in the deepspace tunnel with no way to find their coordinates.
Xavier's daughter has an easy relationship with you. She's seen you around the building before and you always have candy ready for her sweet tooth. If Xavier was too busy to give her attention, then down the elevator she came to knock on your door.
On multiple occasions Xavier has come down to retrieve his daughter from you, reminding her that it's not ok to visit when you were off duty. This upsets her and she looks at you teary-eyed and you insist that she's not a bother.
At this point his daughter bursts out loudly, "Daddy, I'm always either at our place or hers. Miss should just move in with you so that I don't have to come downstairs anymore!" Both you and Xavier laugh awkwardly, both of you blushing before bidding each other good night.
But after Xavier has put his daughter to bed, he considers the idea. It seemed practical, but he knew you'd never go for it. So instead he asks you if you'd be interested in joining him for hot pot one of these days.
Rafayel:
Rafayel somehow believes that because you are his bodyguard, it means you are his daughter's too. Even after you told him it would cost double since you're trying to protect two people he shrugs it off and asks Thomas to write you a check for more.
The young girl is similar to her dad and has an artistic flair, painting breathtaking landscapes and adorable little cartoons alike. She often watches you chastising her dad for not following rules and not being safe enough and senses there's more there.
She can't help but notice that some of her dad's portraits feature people with features similar to yours; the same nose, the shape of your eyes, or the fullness of your lips. When she points this out Rafayel shakes his head in denial.
Determined to be right, she pulls you into his studio where all the portraits are kept while he's out one day. You do see the resemblance but try to console the girl that artists can find inspiration from anywhere, and it might not be as simple as him having feelings for you. Of course, she pouts (so much like her dad!) and that's when Rafayel walks in.
You ask him to correct his daughter, that your relationship is strictly professional. Rafayel sighs dramatically, then says, "Yeah, it's professional. But only because I can't get her to change her mind." His daughter smirks in triumph and you leave the room blushing, wondering how you got tangled up with this family.

I can do it alone, but he can also save me
Fem reader x Hwang In-ho / Fem reader x Hwang Jun-ho
Part 1 // Part 2
•Summary: Jun-ho's girlfriend was a decorated policegirl, strong and brave, she, along with Gi-hun were taken to the games to stop them, however, there was a setback in between
•Note: Thanks for the support! Here I bring you the second part of this one shot that is personally one of my favorites.
•Warning: Maybe some drama, Some violence and attempted abuse, ¡Don't worry! this man arrives on time like a prince on a white horse
N/A: I haven't checked this yet, sorry if it has spelling mistakes
Gi-hun had told some participants that the next game would be dalgona, but it was not so and now they were upset with him, surrounding him and complaining about his mistake, calling him a "liar."
—You guys decided to play these games —the girl said standing in front of Gi-hun —Face the consequences and don't expect someone to come and save us.
—He's a fraud! —Player 100 shouted at him, pointing at accusingly and with contempt.
—ibelieve in him word —001 interrupted, standing next to her.
Due to the first impression that the two made on all the players, the complaints immediately stopped and retreated.
—It's nothing, I really believe you —Young-il said with a friendly expression
—And if you allow me... I would like to be on your team.
The next game would be in teams of five players, counting the girl, Gi-hun, Jung-bae, Dae-ho and now Young-il, they were full, however, when they were talking to get to know each other a little, a woman with the number 222 on his uniform approached them cautiously.
—¿Can I be on your team? Please —Jung-bae was going to interrupt her to tell that they were full but the young woman finished his sentence first —I'm pregnant.
The five pairs of eyes fell on the small bulge of her belly and noticed that it was true. Immediately, the woman spoke. —I'll look for another team.
—¿Are you sure you'll do it?— In-ho asked, looking at her carefully. A person who looked out for someone else's well-being in these games was rare to see, but considering the situation, it was quite understandable. He wouldn't give up his place if he wasn't so interested in his enemy.
She nodded confidently and left to find another team, it didn't take long, after all, most people took advantage of having someone like her on their team just by considering the word "police" in their introduction.
Once the teams were formed and they were told what had to do, they sat on the floor to wait the turn.
As time passed and gunshots mixed with screams sounded in the background, the young woman thought silently.
¿Will Jun-ho be okay? She really hoped so, she had known him for four years and knew that there were times when he could go to extremes to get what wanted.
It was something she loved about him but right now just worried about.
—¿What game are you going to play? —246 asked sitting next to her, momentarily taking her out of his thoughts.
—Gonggi —answered immediately, she was very good at that game, it had been his favorite since she was a child.
The others nodded and continued talking, she didn't go there with the intention of socializing too much.
For starters.
She was only there because Jun-ho had asked her to.
Jun-ho...
She just hoped him could find her and Gi-hun in time.
The policeman had no intention of stopping now, even without having the tracker active and with the fact that apparently someone was sabotaging them from inside, he was not going to stop searching.
The woman he loved was in those games, that wasn't going to be the plan, she was only supposed to be Gi-hun's bodyguard but things didn't go as planned.
—I think we should stop, it's almost time to eat and we're a bit far from the shore.
—We can't be so close now —he said, somewhat irritated and helpless. —Every minute they spend on that island is a danger.
He felt guilty for having dragged her into his own problems.
He remembered the last conversation he had with her before he lost sight of her.
[...]
—We are police officers —Jun-ho said, showing his badge to the guard who was guarding the entrance of the place
—Just like everyone else tonight —the man said with a mocking laugh, pointing at the long line waiting to get into the Halloween party.
Jun-ho didn't have enough patience to tolerate this, so with no other choice he went up to the man and took his gun out of his pocket.
—¿Do you want to see if this is a toy?
The guard stepped back in fear, giving them free passage.
The girl smiled proudly and waved her hand as if it were hot while sighed.
—That's my man —she boasted to the guard as they crossed the entrance. Jun-ho managed to hear her and inevitably a sly smile appeared on his lips.
—We have to find him before they do —he said, referring to Gi-hun searching the crowd but no masked pink guard was visible.
—It will be faster if we separate —she added, taking out her weapon and pointing it at the ground just to be ready in case used it —When we leave here it will be fondue night —she said without losing her charming touch.
It was something they both shared, despite being in tense situations like this, comments like that were never lacking, especially from the girl and that was something Jun-ho adored, her daring was part of what made the policeman fall in love with her.
—Maybe I should drag you into my problems more often —He replied with a smile and separated from her.
The girl was the first to find Gi-hun and surprisingly they let her get into the limo with him.
Jun-ho was unhappy about that but he couldn't change her mind and just when they thought they could intercept the front man of those suicide games they were forced to make a last-minute decision by shooting at the tires of the cars.
[...]
His stomach turned just remembering what people go through inside those games, he trusted that she could survive but the odds of not making him tremble and want to vomit.
—Okay... we'll call off the search —He relented after a few minutes.
He looked up at the sky and asked whoever would listen him to keep the woman he loves alive.
Meanwhile on the island, they had managed to get through the second game alive, she was sitting with Gi-hun's team silently watching around them when 001 sat next to her.
—Hi... —he greeted her with a soft smile, hoping that the mask being Young-il was convincing enough to fool her —I'm curious... if you're a police officer, how did you end up here?
—¿Debts? —She replied with a false smile —My job was to take care of Mr. Seong but it didn't turn out the way I had in mind —she admitted, looking away again but feeling Young-il's intense gaze on her.
—So... ¿you're here as an undercover agent? —he asked, feigning surprise and curiosity.
He himself was the one who gave the order to allow her to also get into the limousine to accompany Gi-hun.
In-ho knew his brother would be worried about her, searching for her relentlessly, but it was inevitable, he needed to meet her in person and be sure how good of an influence she was on Jun-ho.
Or at least he thought it was a good excuse.
—Yeah... —She looked at him silently and attentively when she noticed a certain peculiarity in him appearance —¿Do I know you from somewhere? I feel like I've seen you before...
Him face seemed familiar but she couldn't figure out why. In-ho kept eye contact with her, waiting for her answer.
It was a pity, if she recognize it him had no other option to let her die in the next games but luckily for the girl she denied it.
—Forget it, I'm just stressed ¿And why are you here?
—My wife is sick and pregnant.
She looked at him with pity as he told her his story, it wasn't a lie, it was just that it happened years ago and he couldn't do anything to keep her alive.
—I'm sorry —The girl said after he finished his words.—I promise we'll get out of here and I'll help you as much as I can with the expenses.
The police had money, not to say that she was a millionaire but she lived in a good social status, she was willing to help him only because her heart was softened by him story.
–You barely know me, ¿why would you do that?
—My boyfriend has also had a somewhat hard life and I took this job for a reason, to help others.
She did not consider herself a saint, but if she had the opportunity to do something good for other people, she would do it regardless of the consequences.
—Also... I think I'm pregnant —She said with a small smile.
How chaotic and unfair could fate be that just one night before she was to go to the medical laboratory for her results, she was taken to those games against will.
On the other hand, she could also feel a slight connection with this stranger, which was why she revealed that to him so naturally, but she still didn't know exactly why.
—I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back.
He nodded and watched her leave but his eyes also noticed three other suspicious looking players who followed her into the bathroom.
Without thinking twice he also stood up.
Not even two minutes had passed since she entered the bathroom when a woman grabbed her by the collar of the jacket and threw her backwards, making her fall on back.
–¿You remember me? —the woman demanded, looking at her with disdain and annoyance
—No —She answered standing up.
—You threw my husband into prison and won't be out for another twenty years —The woman pulled out a small pocket knife and another woman stood behind the police girl to hold her —I thought about how to kill you for days.
—Very cute, I still don't know who you are.
Those words only made the woman even more furious as lunged at her and tried to stab her,
Her hard training served her well in this unarmed fight.
But she was counting on another man to come in to help the two players who were trying to kill the young policewoman.
—Three against one unarmed is not fair... —she gasped for air as saw that he had a small opening in his head, her had hit himself on the sink at one point during the fight.
—¡It was also not fair that my husband was sentenced to twenty years in prison for attempted abuse!
—Oh, believe me, I tried to make it forty.
A kick to the face from one of them managed to stun her long enough to give them time to pin her down on the cold, damp bathroom floor.
She couldn't hear clearly what they were saying but when she saw how the man placed himself on top of her, their intentions were quite clear.
She didn't have enough strength to continue defending himself, her felt bleeding from his leg from the knife and the cut on his head hurt, but like a hero coming to save the day, Young-il walked through the door and shouted "Hey!"
That small interruption was enough for her to hit the man in the genitals with her knee, making him move away and moan in pain.
She was too stunned to see what was happening, but before she knew it, he had her in him arms and walked out of the bathroom leaving the two women unconscious on the floor and the man with a bleeding nose.
—¡You should do a better job as guards! —he yelled at the two pink soldiers guarding the door, she didn't know it but that scolding was enough to fire those two.
He carefully led her to the men's room where, due to his front man advantages, he was able to have a guard deny another player access until he said so.
—Thanks... —Her murmured as he dropped her on the ground—But I had it under control.
She let out a giggle that made his ribs hurt, In-ho refrained from laughing, now he had to focus on fixing her wounds.
—Being a police officer you made many enemies —He said while using his jacket with some water to clean her.
—You have no idea.
In-ho continued to clean her wounds and after a few minutes everything was better for her, the girl stood up cautiously because of the wound on her leg and thanked Young-il with a small bow.
—Thanks for helping me, for the second time.
—I hope it doesn't become routine —he said with a soft smile, looking her up and down unconsciously.
When they came out of the bathroom there were suspicious glances but neither of them cared.
It was cute, she liked the way this man treated whenever her found himself in trouble, in a way he reminded her of Jun-ho,
She liked that even though she could defend herself, there was still a knight in shining armor who would arrive in the worst situations.
Young-il, the gentleman who arrived just in time and the only one who knew about her suspected pregnancy.

Now for player character snipers you absolutely have the right idea, there's a lot of good backup weapons, covering fire abilities and reactive movement options that are 100% worth taking to cover your weaknesses, and a good party will generally do a good job of protecting eachother.
However, this is mostly in reference to npc snipers, who have some good mobility options to try and play keep away, but those have their limitations that an especially aggressive player can overwhelm.
Now if you're a GM looking to run sniper class NPCs to their maximum effect, I'd personally really recommend giving them a small "Fire team" arrangement. Generally you're gonna want the main NPC with all the fancy templates to be the sniper themself, but you can really amplify their whole deal by throwing in:
A "spotter" (Scout class NPC providing lock-on, scans, shredded conditions and invisibility)
A "bodyguard (Any defender NPC works here but I'm a fan of the Sentinel class)
If you have a Support-Class NPC on another part of the field, having them throw a restock drone in the sniper's direction can be REALLY nasty for action economy

I also mentioned this before in DMs, but I want to point something out.
Wukong gave Macaque a peach popsicle after the fight with Azure. At this point into their relationship, they're only jsut to the point of beginning to reconcile, not quite trusting each other yet, but the first thing Wukong does is give Macaque a peach flavored treat. Is this because he's just extending an olive branch? Did he somehow get his hands on more immortal peaches and made modern treats out of them to make it so they last longer for his friend who needs to regularly invest them to manage his chronic sickness? A little bit of both?
Ref.
Wukong 100% planted a divine peach tree or two on FFM from whatever pits he had left over.
I *love* the idea that when Wukong realised his bestie-turned-rival was alive again, he started thinking of ways to add the Peaches of Immortality to modern day snacks/sweets so Mac wouldn't have to wait potentially months or even centuries for a new dose.
In the lore; the special Life-Extending Peach trees in the Celestial Realm supposedly only fruit every 3,000 years (300 celestial years?), and two other variants that take 6,000 (makes you light as air and youthful) and 9,000 (super boosted first variant) years respectively. This is why so much of the harvest is converted into Peach Wine that the immortals can sup on throughout the orchard's fallow season. And why the Peach Banquet is so important to the Queen Mother. There *is* a possibility that there are other sections of the royal orchard that were planted at different times to make the waits a little shorter tho. Irl peach trees take about 3-4 years to grow to fruiting sizes, so the Immortal Peaches could take a few hundred years to sprout anything on Earth - unless someone crossbred them with local peach trees to shorten the amount of time needed.
Also! Hilarious thing I discovered while looking up peaches; the specific trees Wukong is assigned to as an Peach Orchard Attendant are called "Pan Tao/Coiled Peaches" aka "Doughnut/Saturn Peaches"! My fave variant! Ironically in chinese mythos "Saturn" is an earthquake star god - A Stone/Earth Monkey to look after the Earth God's Peaches.
Wukong seems like the sort of guy to plan way ahead when it comes to his fave fruit. Even as a little monkey I could see him eating a Peach of Immortality and deciding to plant the pit or graft a few sticks onto a FFM tree so those on earth could enjoy them. The grafting (basically Frankenstein-ing a divine peach fruiting branch onto a normal peach tree) in particular would produce a tree with hybrid fruit!
The hybrid fruit could act like a "lower dosage" for Macaque's condition, and still treat him albeit requiring more frequent consumption.
And with Wukong's special interest in medicine and herbalism; why stop there?
He could use the little islands around the archipelago for breeding new variants of peaches and other prunus fruits he can graft on to. He'd be more interested in the medicinal/healing properties than the "makes you live for hundreds of years" part, so he could accidentally make an entirely new breed of Peach that massively boosts physical health/treat rare illnesses, but also be safe for anyone not wanting the burden of living so long.
In Wukong's mind, if he could no longer treat Macaque, then he would help treat he entire world to the medicinal properties once exclusive to the Celestials.
Note: in the events of the AU, Heaven def finds out. Mostly because Wukong accidentally info-dumps during his appointments/check-ins with Lao Tzu + Nezha finds one of the FFM orchards during his bodyguard duty of the monkeys.
Xiwangmu is willing to let the peach theft be bygones IF... Wukong gives her a sapling or two for her personal orchard. The variants he's managed to cultivate are super tasty after all, and Lao Tzu wants one for his own medicinal research.
(We ended up calling them Vitality Peaches in the dms. XD)
Wukong wouldn't stop at making wine from his peach orchard; he'd make jams, desserts, canned peaches, dehydrated jellies, dried peach crisps, persipan/marizpan from the kernels, vitamin gummies, and ofc Popsicles from the juices and pulp. The Brotherhood could have eaten entire dishes made with the stuff and not realised it!
So when he confirms that Macaque is back home for good? He busting out the modern treats. He remembers Macaque not caring for the texture of ripe peaches, so a nice cooling popsicle is an easy thing to pack for the beach party without making it obvious that Wukong wants Mac to start having some again.
If Macaque learns that the peach and plum products he's been eating are in fact medicinal, Wukong can easily bluff and say the shadow monkey's immune system is 1300 years out of date and that he'd rather not have Macaque get super-sick from a modern sniffle.
Macaque secretly thinks the concern is sweet, but he really doesn't like being tricked into taking medicine. Just ask him next time okay Peaches?
Macaque will eventually figure out his condition from some digging around and his own summons to the Underworld to review his Draft Scroll. And he will be pissed that Wukong didn't tell him. Then he will hug him.
I ended up on a peach rabbit-hole while writing this as you can see.

Jago Sevetarion x F! Reader - Assorted Headcanons
Because at the moment, I've got the Night Lord bug really, really bad.
Hope you guys enjoy these couple lil tid bits :)
If any of you have any requests for fics or headcanons, then please leave a comment or send through an ask!
- While most of his brothers would leap at the opportunity to taunt, tease or even hurt you, Jago's own squad, First Claw, are like big brothers to you. Sev has told them explicitly that they are to protect you and show you respect, and out of loyalty they do so from day one. Eventually, though, they don't need to be ordered to look after you: they come to actually quite like you. Talos and Cyrion are particular stand outs, here. Cyrion takes it upon himself to teach you Nostraman, both for your betterment and his own amusement. If Sev isn't around to keep the other, more problematic Night Lords off your back, Talos steps in as your bodyguard.
- All of that said, Jago is absolutely teaching you how to fight. He will show you how to use a bolter and sword, as well as how to kill with your hands. You will spar together often (Jago is shirtless, of course ;)) and more often than not, those sessions will devolve from fighting into... well, other things, shall we say.
- He tells you about Altani. He says her vulnerability and soft nature reminded him of you. Not being able to save her weighs heavily on him, more so than anyone else realises. And after his experience in loosing her, you notice a subtle, yet significant change in his behaviour. He's more physically affectionate, tells you that he loves you more often, and he's even more concerned with your safety than usual.
- You're the best dressed and groomed person in the entire Legion- be they spacemarine, serf or ship crew. Where most humans in the Legion wear little more than tattered robes, your attire is as layered, colourful and stylish as you want. Jago is an absolute sugar daddy; he couldn't bear the thought of the woman he loves having nothing but rags to her name. Also, your clothes are a status symbol. A mark of your importance both to Sevetar and First Claw. Simply put, no one is going to look at you and mistake you for anyone other than Jago Sevetarion's wife.
- Your and Jago's relationship is the one thing that he and Konrad Curze disagree about. Konrad says you're making Jago weak. That you're making him soft, giving him empathy. But that isn't the truth. Yes, when he is with you Jago is a soft and loving man. But in every other aspect of his, you have, if anything, made him even more deadly. Now, he's not just fighting for bloodlust or hatred; he's fighting to protect someone he loves. He'll kill anyone to keep you safe, and therein lies the real reason Konrad doesn't like you. Because between you and him, Jago is choosing you. And Konrad absolutely hates that.

Rafe Cameron
As I stood one step behind Rafe and our daughter, I felt like their bodyguard. He always wanted to have her in his arms. He didn’t feel the need to use her stroller, so it always stayed in the trunk. He would look back every so often to make sure I was close by but most importantly, he made sure to catch every moment, expression, or action from our daughter. “Don’t get her too close to the glass” I warned. But just as I said it he squatted down with her close enough to touch the glass. He grins back at me before turning to see our daughter so fazed with the creature in front of her. I step back taking a seat on the wooden bench and just watch those two.
“Can you imagine them living amongst dinosaurs?” My head snaps to my right as a man takes the seat beside me. “Of course they developed over the years but it's incredible to think of how far back they go.”
“And now you have them here” I plainly point towards the glass. “Living behind a glass where people pay to come and see them.” The guy laughs shaking his head.
“If you think they deserve better, why come see them?”
“Call me a hypocrite,” I smile. “I like to think these places are made up of animals we have helped. Maybe that small turtle was saved and would never be able survive out there in the wild.”
“A nice way to see things,” He lets out a sigh. “But still pessimistic?”
“Oh yes” I laugh. “It’s second nature to me. People can be so deceiving that it's easier to never truly put your trust on someone.”
“Talking from experience?” I turn my head to look at him. My smile turned into a bit of a frown. His mood shifted really quickly, noticing my change. “You seem like a person who believes in second chances?”
“I believe things can be made right, but I also believe a person should know their value. Trust should be sacred. If you decide to trust someone it could either make you noble or a fool for falling for the same trick twice.”
“And you don’t want to make that mistake twice because you’re scared of the pain?” I shake my head letting out a quick laugh. “In my books it doesn’t make you a fool to trust again, it simply means you are a human with a big heart.”
“Guess we just differ in opinions.” He smiles nodding along.
“We should meet up to see if that is true, maybe in a couple of years it will be the same?” I look over feeling my smile die down. I take a deep breath ready to respond when someone cuts me off.
“I think not.” Our heads turn to see Rafe standing there. “Our daughter wants to visit the shop.” His eyes rolled over to mine. Dead expression on his face.
“I don’t mean to cause any trouble-”
“Then walk away.” I gasp at Rafe's response. I was about to grab his hand and pull him away when he turned towards me and handed over our daughter. As I adjusted her in my arms I am faced with his back.
“I-” I see the man stretch to the side with pleading eyes to look at me but of course Rafe blocks him. He moves forward with each hand grabbing a fist full of the man's collar.
“Look dude. I am trying to have a nice day with my family and you are ruining it. You are some creepy guy who comes to places like these alone to what? Pry on women hoping they give you some attention?”
“Rafe stop.” I demanded placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Look man I just saw her sitting there and she looked a bit down,” What? I looked down? People said I have a resting bitch face but I didn’t know it made me look depressed, what the fuck.
“Your mistake.” Rafe continues. “Now that I am here you can move along and bother someone else, this one is mine.” He lets him go with a little shove. I stay quiet knowing and hoping it won’t escalate. The man fixes his shirt and with a last glance towards me he walks away.
“Seriously?” I say watching Rafe walk to where I was standing. “You didn’t have to do all of that.” He doesn’t respond. He simply takes a hold of my hand and begins to drag me somewhere. “Rafe,” I say a little louder trying to get his attention. He swiftly dragged us between the crowd until we stopped in front of the family bathroom.
“In.” He opened the door and motioned for me to get in but I just stood there. I raised one brow thinking how crazy he was acting and childish. “Can you please get in?” I rolled my eyes and got in. I shake away the small grin knowing it wasn’t the time to acknowledge his cute plea. I wait for him to close the door and lock it. “I heard you two talking.”
“Rafe you know I wouldn’t-”
“I wasn’t talking about him.” He stays put in the doorway. I search his eyes for any clue, until it hits me. “Are you ever going to trust me?” His voice was almost a whisper. “You don’t say it but I know the reason for you breaking up with me and putting me on trial to be in our daughter's life was because of my past.” I was left speechless. My cheeks were burning and my bones were aching to just touch him. I saw how pain flashed in his eyes but I couldn’t find the words. “You would have hated who I was back then and who’s to say I won’t go back to being that person again. My father was a bad man but I loved him.” His last word made his voice crack. “I don’t want her to live through that and hate me,” His head falls down but I notice a small tear rolling down his cheek. “I don’t want to live knowing you always have a foot out the door.” That's when he broke down into a cry.
“Rafe,” I swallowed the pain in my throat and walked over to him. I grabbed his hand and led him to the single couch in the room. “Look at me Rafe.” I kneel in front of him. I lifted his chin a bit to search for his eyes. Once I saw his eyes focus on me I moved our daughter to his lap. “I can’t tell you that it didn’t play a part in my decision because it did.” His chest was breathing heavily. “But it didn’t make me stop trusting you, ever.” Both of my hands were holding his cheeks making sure he didn’t look away. I move my thumbs to clear up the remainder of his tears. “Baby I fell in love with the man you became after so much pain. You did that on your own before we met and after seeing you become a father, I know you won’t ever do anything to make her and I hate you.”
“But you don’t even look at me the same.” I grinned hearing his childlike whine. I move closer between his legs.
“I don’t look at you the same because you keep changing on me for the better.” I begin to smile bigger. “I fell in love with a 20 year old boy who was building a life for himself. Then again as a 24 year old man who became the father to our little girl. Now I have a chance to see what kind of person you will become as we grow older together but trust me, the only change you see in my eyes is how my love just keeps getting bigger and bigger for you.” I lift my head giving him a quick kiss. “Those blue eyes have become my favorite blues to see.”
“Not the ocean?” He says quietly.
“No, ocean blue doesn’t even come close.” He nods softly before fixing his down posture. “Are you okay?” He flickered his eyes down towards me as he nodded. But when I tried to get up with one hand he kept me from standing up. He leans forward and as I try to pull away but his free hand moves from my shoulder to the back of my head.
“You need to be more careful when talking to strangers,” What am I, 10?. “I held back because our daughter was nearby, but don’t go making friends with strangers, especially men.” I roll my eyes as I let out a chuckle. “You two are mine to protect.” I move forward resting my forehead against his.
“She is ours to protect,” I say challengingly. His piercing eyes don’t change showing how he was not amused with my answer. “I won’t do it again.” I groaned, pulling away from him. “Can I get up now? My knees are killing me”
“I don’t know why. You have always been good on your knees.” I scoff pushing him away.
“You're an idiot.” I hear him laugh as I pick myself up. “Now let's go because there is an otter plushie that has my name on it.” I hear the couch creek as he stands and walks over to the door. I turn around to face Rafe, one hand on the handle behind my back as he stares down at me. “I love you so much.” I whisper quietly and slowly. His eyes move to my right and then the left a couple of times. “Don’t forget it.” I simply state. I turn and push the door open but his hand grips mine and pulls it close. His face right beside me ear,
“Woman if I didn’t have my daughter in my arms right now I would fuck you against this very door. Don’t go saying things like that when I can’t do anything about it.” He takes a step back allowing me to focus back on opening the door. I tried to swallow but my mouth was left dry. Of course Rafe was enjoying it. He wrapped his free arm around my neck and led us to the shop with a grin on his face.
“Fuck the store” I stop in my tracks. Shivers were literally circulating around my body.
“What?” Is he stupid?
“We can come tomorrow to get her a stuffed animal. Let's go home. She needs to nap.” I didn’t care how desperate I looked or sounded. I needed Rafe. These people should be grateful I have enough self restraint to hold myself back but it wouldn’t be for long.
“What about the otter-?”
“Fuck the otter Rafe.” I looked around a little embarrassed as I spoke a little too loudly. I walked closer making sure no one was going to hear me. “I am giving you a chance to go home and fuck me Rafe.” His eyes widened. “You can fuck me until you put another baby in me. I need you,” I look up with pleading eyes hoping to get him on the same page.
“Yes ma’am.” And with Rafe, it didn’t take much.

Armor Between Us
Knight!Sevika x princess!reader
When political corruption, forbidden love, and an old enemy threaten the realm, Sevika must navigate her loyalties, her growing feelings for the princess, and the ghosts of her past to protect everything she holds dear.

Chaper 4:
The Gilded Cage
Reassigned to the princess’s side, Sevika finds herself trapped in a world of quiet elegance and gilded restraint. As the days turn to weeks, fleeting conversations and gentle gestures begin to forge an unexpected bond. Yet, beneath the surface, Sevika battles the weight of her oath—and the growing ache of something she cannot name.
It had been weeks since the battle. Weeks of slow, painful recovery in the infirmary, where her body had betrayed her at every turn. Her arm, though no longer wrapped in heavy bandages, was still bound in a sling, its strength lost. The scars on her face had healed enough to stop stinging, but they burned every time she caught a servant’s glance and saw pity—or fear—in their eyes.
---
Sevika stood before the council chamber, her shoulders squared, her face carved from stone. The long hall was cold, lit by the weak light of dawn that filtered through the narrow windows.
She wasn’t whole yet. Not physically. Not in any way that mattered.
The king sat at the far end of the room, flanked by his advisors. They spoke in hushed tones, their words sharp and clinical, barely acknowledging her presence.
“…a matter of necessity,” one of the advisors said, his gaze flicking toward her like she was a weapon being appraised. “Sir Sevika’s injuries leave her unfit for the battlefield. However, her skills and loyalty remain… valuable.”
Sevika’s hand curled into a fist, her jaw tightening at the word “unfit.”
The king nodded, his expression indifferent. “Effective immediately, Sir Sevika will serve as the personal guard to Her Highness. She will remain stationed within the castle.”
Her chest tightened. Of all the outcomes she had imagined—discharge, exile, even some hollow honorary position—this was not the one she’d expected. A guard. A glorified sentinel for court politics and idle royal banter.
The battlefield was where she belonged—where she had proven herself again and again. But here? In the gilded cage of the castle, following the princess through marble corridors like a shadow? The thought made her stomach churn. A bodyguard. Babysitter to a royal.
It took everything in her to keep her voice steady. “Understood, Your Majesty.”
The king waved a hand dismissively, and the meeting was over. Sevika turned sharply on her heel, ignoring the murmurs of the council as she walked away. Her footsteps echoed in the empty corridor, each one feeling heavier than the last.
She hadn’t looked back at the princess, who stood in the shadows of the room, silent.
---
The first few days in her new role felt like wearing armor that didn’t fit.
Sevika’s life became a rigid routine: trailing the princess through the castle, standing guard in court sessions filled with endless, droning voices, and following her through sunlit gardens and shadowed hallways.
The princess tried to engage her—small attempts at conversation that Sevika deflected with curt answers. A comment about the roses in the royal garden. A question about whether Sevika had eaten that day. An invitation to sit with her at breakfast.
Each time Sevika declined with a cold politeness.
It wasn’t out of cruelty. Sevika simply didn’t know how to be anything else anymore. Her scars itched under the gazes of the nobles, and her left arm hung useless in its sling, a constant reminder of the life she had lost. She couldn’t afford softness, not here.
But then came the night the princess cornered her.
The corridor outside the princess’s chambers was quiet, lit only by the flicker of a single lantern mounted on the wall. Sevika stood at her post, her armored frame blending into the shadows, her eyes trained forward. She had spent every evening like this for weeks now, and though the weight of her armor was familiar, the role was not.
“Sir Sevika,” the princess’s voice called softly from behind the door.
Sevika straightened, her shoulders pulling back instinctively. “Your Highness?”
“Will you come in for a moment?”
Sevika stiffened. “My place is outside, Your Highness.”
The princess turned to face her, her expression unreadable. “You’re my guard, aren’t you? I think that means your place is wherever I am.”
Sevika’s jaw tightened, but she stepped forward, her boots heavy on the stone floor. She didn’t lower her gaze, but neither did she meet the princess’s eyes directly. “What is it you need, Your Highness?”
The princess gestured toward a small seating area near the hearth. “You’ve been at your post for hours. Please, sit.”
“That won’t be necessary,” Sevika said, her tone as clipped and professional as ever.
The princess crossed the room slowly, her movements as deliberate and graceful as her words. She paused by the window, where the moonlight spilled across the floor, her hands clasped lightly in front of her.
“You don’t speak to me,” the princess said quietly, her tone measured. “You stand by my side each day. You follow me from court to garden to hall. But you say nothing unless I speak first.” She turned slightly, glancing at Sevika. “Is that how you see this arrangement? Just silence and duty?”
Sevika stiffened, her hand twitching at her side. “My duty is to protect you, Your Highness.”
“I see.” The princess’s voice remained calm, but there was something in her tone—a faint edge that Sevika couldn’t place. “And is it your duty to seem as if you’d rather be anywhere else?”
Sevika’s chest tightened, but her expression remained neutral. She chooses not to speak, not knowing what to say.
The princess studied her for a moment, her gaze thoughtful. “I notice, Sir Sevika. I notice the distance you keep. The way you refuse to look at me for too long. The way you speak to me as if you resent even being in this castle.”
Sevikas gaze shifted to the fire burning low in the hearth, its light casting shadows across the room.
“I do not resent you,” she said at last, her voice quieter than before.
The princess stepped closer, though still maintaining a respectable distance. “Then what is it you resent, Sir Sevika? The castle? The court? The crown? Your injury?”
The question lingered in the air, and for the first time, Sevika’s composure faltered.
She exhaled sharply, her good hand tightening into a fist. “If I have caused you offense, Your Highness, I apologize. That was not my intention.”
The princess tilted her head slightly, watching her. “There is no offense. Only… curiosity. I would like to understand the person who has sworn to protect me.”
Sevika’s throat tightened. Her gaze remained fixed on the hearth. “There is nothing to understand. I am here to do my duty. That is all.”
The silence that followed was heavy, but the princess didn’t press her further. Instead, she stepped back, her hands brushing lightly over the folds of her gown. “I suppose that will have to do, for now.”
Sevika inclined her head, her voice steady again. “Good night, Your Highness.”
“Good night, Sir Sevika.”
She turned and left the room, her boots echoing softly in the corridor. But as the door clicked shut behind her, a faint unease settled in her chest. She had seen something in the princess’s gaze before she left—something quiet and unspoken, but unmistakably sad.
Sevika clenched her jaw, her good hand brushing against the bindings beneath her armor where the handkerchief still rested. She didn’t let herself dwell on it for long.
Her place was outside the door. And that, she told herself firmly, was where it would remain.
---
The days bled into weeks, a quiet rhythm settling into Sevika’s new role.
At first, she kept her distance, answering the princess’s questions with clipped responses and maintaining her usual stoic presence. She stayed back as they walked through the gardens, kept her eyes fixed forward during meals, and remained silent in the shadowed corners of the court.
But the princess was persistent in her own gentle way.
One morning, she offered Sevika tea. “It’s jasmine,” she had said, holding out the porcelain cup with a small smile. “The kind I like best. I thought you might enjoy it.”
Sevika had stared at the delicate cup, so out of place in her calloused, battle-worn hands. “I don’t drink tea,” she had muttered, declining it with a stiff bow.
The princess hadn’t seemed offended. She simply tilted her head, studying Sevika with that quiet intensity that always made her feel exposed. “Maybe next time,” she said lightly, setting the cup down.
The “next time” came sooner than Sevika expected.
The princess began to draw her into small moments of conversation, asking about her life before the war, her family, her training as a knight. Sevika answered sparingly at first, her voice guarded, but something about the princess’s sincerity made it hard to stay silent.
On one quiet evening, as they walked the castle walls at dusk, Sevika found herself speaking more freely than she intended. She told the princess about her early days in the royal army—how she’d trained in the rain until her hands bled, how she’d sworn to never return to the humble village she had come from until she was someone worth respecting.
The princess listened intently, her hands clasped in front of her as they strolled. “You must have been very young when you left home,” she said softly.
Sevika nodded. “Fourteen.”
“And did you?”
“Did I what?”
“Become someone worth respecting?”
Sevika faltered, her steps slowing. Her good hand brushed over the bindings on her chest where the handkerchief rested. “I thought I had,” she said quietly. “Once.”
The princess didn’t press further, but her eyes lingered on Sevika’s scars for a moment before she turned back to the horizon. “For what it’s worth, I think you are.”
The words sat heavy in Sevika’s chest, but she didn’t reply.
It wasn’t just conversations that softened the edges between them.
On one particularly cold evening, as the wind howled through the castle corridors, Sevika found herself adjusting the princess’s cloak before a walk through the gardens. She hadn’t meant to—it was instinct, something she used to do for her soldiers on the battlefield. But the moment her hands brushed the soft fabric, she froze.
The princess looked up at her in surprise, then smiled faintly. “Thank you,” she said, her voice warm.
Sevika pulled her hands back quickly, muttering, “It’s nothing,” before stepping aside.
And then there were the quiet moments, when no words passed between them but the silence was comfortable rather than tense.
The princess began spending more time in the library, often seated near the large windows where the light filtered in just so. Sevika stood nearby, as always, but the sound of turning pages and the faint scratch of a quill became oddly soothing.
Occasionally, the princess would glance up from her books, offering Sevika a small smile that wasn’t quite so formal anymore. And, though Sevika never returned the gesture, she found herself holding the princess’s gaze a little longer each time.
---
The council chamber was buzzing with its usual noise—lords and advisors speaking over each other, their voices blending into a haze of politics and ego. The princess sat at the head of the room, her expression calm as she listened, her quill moving delicately across the parchment in front of her.
Sevika stood behind her, tall and imposing, her watchful eyes scanning the room. The subtle movements of courtiers, the soft rustle of fabric, the stray glances sent her way—all of it passed through her gaze like water through a sieve, nothing escaping her notice.
Her attention sharpened when her eyes landed on a man near the far side of the chamber. He stood stiffly, too stiffly, his head low and his shoulders tense. His hand twitched at his side, brushing beneath the folds of his cloak.
Sevika’s grip tightened on the hilt of her sword. Something about him didn’t sit right.
Then he moved.
The glint of steel flashed in his hand as he pushed through the crowd, and Sevika was already moving.
“Your Highness, get down!” she barked, her voice cutting through the chamber like a whip.
The princess startled, her quill dropping to the table as she turned just in time to see the man lunging toward her.
Sevika threw herself forward, her armored shoulder slamming into the assailant. The knife glanced off her shoulder plate with a screech of steel, but the man twisted, his blade catching the princess’s arm before Sevika could fully knock him back.
The princess cried out, the sound sharp and fleeting as she clutched her arm. Fury ignited in Sevika’s chest.
The man staggered, but Sevika didn’t give him a moment to recover. Her fist collided with his jaw, and he crumpled to the floor. Guards swarmed in immediately, dragging the man away as he sputtered incoherent protests, but Sevika barely noticed.
Her focus was entirely on the princess. “I’m fine,” the princess said quickly to ease the furrow in Sevikas brow, though her voice wavered as she clutched her arm. “It’s just a scratch.”
“It’s not nothing,” Sevika said sharply, her tone uncharacteristically tight. She reached out, her good hand brushing against the princess’s as she gently pulled it away to inspect the wound. “We need to get this bandaged.”
Before the princess could say anything else, Sevika already slipped her good arm around her waist, lifting her with practiced ease. The princess let out a soft gasp, her hand brushing Sevika’s shoulder for support.
The room erupted in frantic whispers as Sevika carried the princess from the chamber, but she didn’t care. Her focus was solely on getting the princess to safety.
Sevika eased the princess down onto the cushioned bench in the infirmary, her movements careful despite the tension in her body. Sevika dropped to one knee beside her, her heart hammering as her gaze fell to the thin line of red trailing down the princess’s arm. It wasn’t deep, but it was enough to make her breath catch in her throat.
The princess flinched as Sevika pressed a damp cloth to her arm, but her lips curved into a faint, teasing smile as Sevika kept cleaning the blood from the shallow wound looking terribly worried.
“You look more worried than you should, Sevika. I'm sure you’ve seen worse in your time.”
Sevika’s jaw clenched. Her voice dropped, quiet and almost to herself. “Not when it’s you.”
The princess blinked, her expression softening. “What did you say?”
Sevika’s shoulders stiffened. She pulled back slightly, her stoic mask sliding firmly back into place. “Nothing. Just hold still, Your Highness.”
“You didn’t have to carry me,” the princess murmured, her voice soft.
“You weren’t walking fast enough,” Sevika replied curtly, though her touch was surprisingly gentle.
The princess’s gaze lingered on her, unspoken words dancing behind her eyes. “Thank you,” she said after a moment, her voice quiet.
Sevika froze, the cloth stilling against the princess’s arm. “It’s my duty,” she muttered, her voice low.
“That doesn’t make me any less thankful for what you've done,” the princess said softly.
Sevika didn’t look at her. She focused on bandaging the wound, her hands steady despite the storm of emotions raging beneath her calm exterior.
When the princess reached out suddenly, her fingers brushing against Sevika’s scarred cheek, Sevika flinched.
“You’re bleeding aswell” the princess said, her voice tinged with concern.
“It’s nothing,” Sevika said quickly, pulling away before the princess could say more. She stood abruptly, her good hand curling into a fist at her side. “Rest, Your Highness. I’ll keep watch.”
“Sevika…”
But Sevika was already stepping toward the door, her back stiff, her footsteps heavy. She couldn’t stay—not with the princess looking at her like that.

Jamil, immediately after graduating: Quit your job
Sebek: ???
Jamil: Travel the world with me
Two people with predetermined futures running away together to experience the world :')
But genuinely as a little thing, I think that would be so fun. Like, imagine, Jamil who has been forced to constantly be meeker and to lower himself to appease people and has always had the looming future of being a mere servant. Then we have Sebek, loud but still has that future of having to lower himself to someone.
Like, Jamil would probably hear tidbits about Sebek and the fact that their similar, like we already know that Sebek and he are both bodyguards, and despite Sebek 'liking' his future (Quotations because does he like it or is that just all he's ever known) or is he just resigned? So Jamil takes one look at Sebek and just goes 'this one, this ones mine'.
Like at some point Sebek becomes known as the honorary Scarabia first year because Jamil (I'm picturing this post his overblot) is absolutely overprotective of his first year. Like, Jamil teaches Sebek things that Sebek would've never really spent much thought on otherwise. They cook together, Sebek learns Jamils style of dance and in return Sebek teaches Jamil how to ride on horseback and introduces him to obscure operas as he begins to come out of his shell. Jamil begins to see more to Sebek than the Malleus obsessed, loud knight everyone else sees. It comes to the point that when people see one they ask where the other is (enter angst about Kalim remembering when he was like that with Jamil????)
Also, Diasomnia in all of this, they just assume it's Sebeks admiration for a senior. In the actual game, Sebek also admires Jamil, so for them, it would be a case of Sebek just thinking he found a new person to respect. They only really notice things are different when Sebeks absence makes it known. It makes itself known through the lack of a sonorous voice waking Silver up; through the lack of joyful compliments towards Malleus; through the lack of panicked flails as he tried to mitigate Lillias disasters in the kitchen. They find themselves oddly out of place without their first year, yet now, they have no idea to reach out, they can only watch as Sebek laughs in a way they've never seen before (had they ever seen him laugh so hard he snorts?)
Enter, the conversation. Personally, I think it would be after Malleus' overblot, like not even graduation. Jamil realizes not only does he want to travel the world, but he wants his friend to do so too. In the moments where everything was in limbo, Jamil regrets that Sebek has never been able to think of a future that deviates from his set path and he decides to try change that.
Whether Sebek takes that chance, is an entirely different story :)

How would the yanderes treat an insecure darling who is worried that they will become bored of them and leave?
Noelle resolves this with quality time. She already spends her every waking and unworking moment with you, but surely this must be her fault somehow. She's been distracted, or she's been working too much; either way, she needs to stop your insecurity before it eats you alive. Noelle kindly asks Ata for a bit of work reprieve, and as long as nothing incredibly urgent is happening, Ata grants it. Noelle rededicates herself to you. She watches movies with you, unaccompanied by her laptop, and just enjoys the time, holding you in her lap and stroking your hair. She bathes with you, has morning coffee on your little porch, and takes long walks outside holding your hand (flanked by the bodyguard of course). Although it kills her, she doesn't dare take a single look at her email. You are more important than even her work, and she wants to show you that. Noelle could not live without you, she can't even fall asleep at night without you bring nearby. She adores you, putting you on a pedastal higher than even herself, and it kills her to think that your mind is telling you such horrible things. Don't worry, love. Don't even think. She'll take care of you. She's the one that loves you.
Vivien resolves this with acts of service. He already does everything he can to take care of you, but now that he knows you're insecure, he ramps it up. No matter how tired he is, he remains steadfast. He cooks for you, bakes you treats, and makes you mocktail after mocktail with his herbs. He is great at foot-rubs and massages, and is always the first to draw you a hot bath after a long day. If he can show you how far he's willing to go for you, then maybe he can convey how much he loves you. He is the one who truly understands this insecurity, this worry that someone or something will steal away the attentions and affections of the person one cares most about. That's why he wants to do this for you. He needs you to know that his mind is on you and you alone, no exceptions. You are all he needs, you are his essential oxygen, and he will never tire of the air he needs to breathe.
Atalanta resolves this with words of affirmation. You all know how she is; she abhors misunderstandings. If you're hurting, you have to tell her how you're feeling or she won't know. She already knows you've been anxious and easily upset lately, she keeps a close eye on you, she just doesn't know the extent. When you finally open up to her, she listens. Atalanta wants to interject several times but she does her best to keep quiet. When you're done, she lovingly takes your hand, and in a quiet, gentle voice, attempts to explain the sheer depths of her feelings for you. Her voice is kind and mild, but her words are anything but. Honestly, if you don't understand her feelings after that, she surmises she'll just have to take you on a long vacation and fuck these particular worries out of you.

guard dog
i'm still very deep in the military outfit pit, so I was looking up reference pics for the official uniform of royal engineers, and found a lot of pictures where they carried each other like this... so i obviously had to draw this... then i realized that it sort of looks like the poster of The Bodyguard movie, and now i have 630 words written by AI summarizing this concept... (i'm also a little conflicted about using AI, but i am definitely not a writer, so... please dont hate me, my artwork is AI free!)
The Bodyguard AU under the cut, feel free to write this!
James is the son of an ambassador, raised in the United Kingdom. His life was turned upside down when his parents were stationed in a hostile country and an assassination attempt was carried out against them. James was also threatened, and for his own safety, he was placed under strict house arrest. Isolated from the world, his frustration grew. He felt trapped in a gilded cage, constantly under surveillance. His only escape was sneaking out when he could, desperate for even a fleeting sense of freedom. As a result of his repeated escapes and the increasing danger surrounding him, a bodyguard was hired to provide 24/7 protection: Sirius, an ex-soldier, now a top-tier security expert with a clear mission of keeping James safe at all costs. Strong, tall, and with striking good looks, Sirius exuded an air of danger, an impenetrable coolness that made him seem almost unapproachable. When James first laid eyes on him, the professional demeanor and intimidating presence were hard to ignore, and the idea of being constantly watched by such a man was hardly appealing. Sirius kept his distance both physically and emotionally, but as the days wore on, something unexpected began to happen: he proved himself to be not just an expert at protecting James, but someone who could be trusted. Sirius, though professional and distant at first, was not impervious to James’s charm. Despite his focus on the task at hand, there were moments when their eyes would meet, when James would catch a glimmer of something deeper in Sirius’s gaze. The heat between them was undeniable, though neither man spoke of it. Still, the chemistry simmered under the surface, growing stronger with every shared adventure, every close call, every moment where their lives were intertwined. The more time they spent together, the more Sirius’s tough, almost cold exterior began to crack. He started to show a side of himself that James hadn’t expected—gentle, caring, and protective in ways that went beyond the professional. James, for his part, found himself drawn to Sirius’s strength, his competence, and the tenderness that lay hidden beneath his stoic façade. It wasn’t just the physical attraction, though that was undeniable, but the way Sirius made him feel safe, cherished, even in the most dangerous moments. Despite the constant threats on James’s life, the bond between them grew—one built not just on trust and mutual respect, but also on the undeniable sexual tension that sparked between them. Their attraction was electric, their stolen glances and lingering touches all charged with the unspoken desire. But it wasn’t until one fateful night, when they found themselves caught in a perilous situation, that their feelings finally erupted. The close proximity, the adrenaline, the raw emotions they had kept locked away finally broke free in a passionate kiss that neither of them could deny any longer. What started as a professional arrangement became something far deeper and more complicated. They navigated their growing feelings amidst the ever-present danger surrounding James. Their relationship was a delicate balance—one that was often tested by their contrasting personalities and the constant threat to James’s life. But through it all, they found comfort in each other. James, once a prisoner of his own life, found freedom in Sirius’s arms, while Sirius, who had long buried his emotions beneath his soldier’s mask, allowed himself to love again. In the end, their connection became more than just a matter of protection—it was a bond forged through fire, a love that neither man had anticipated, but one that transformed their lives forever. Together, they faced whatever dangers the world threw at them, knowing that, despite everything, they had each other. And in a life filled with uncertainty, their love was the one thing that remained undeniable, unshakeable, and real.

How Gabriel Agreste Destroyed Adrien's Life: A 3 a.m. Analysis
From: ‘I enrolled in a school without my father's permission, I ran away from home to attend the first day of school and although I don't want my father to be angry with me, I'm not afraid of a punishment either because I KNOW there won't be one’.
To: ‘My girlfriend is alone with my father, with no one to protect her, completely defenceless. I NEED TO SAVE HER’.
One knows that his father is a good person who, no matter how angry he is, would never hurt him. The other doesn't, it's the opposite, he is no longer sure of anything, he fears for the safety of those he loves and is so terrified that he is about to have a panic attack.
But how did we get from the first to the second?
How Gabriel Agreste's abuse managed to completely change his son in a matter of days
People don't remember this because it happened a long time ago and has not been repeated, but Adrien used to be a NORMAL person, not as perfect as he is now. While he has always been kind and polite, there were also times when he allowed himself to be a bit hostile and not as perfect as we are used to seeing him (as Adrien, not as Chat Noir). Usually that ‘good boy’ facade was only used in front of his father and Nathalie, but in front of his friends he behaved like a normal teenager, even becoming a bit teasing, self-centred and rebellious. "The Bubbler", "Animan", "Kung Food" and "Evillustrator" being the clearest examples of these behaviours, in particular towards Nino, Chloé and Marinette.
In S1 it becomes clear that the only conflict Adrien has with his father is the fact that he does not give him as much freedom as Adrien would like. Apart from this, Adrien has no other problems with him and considers him to be a good father. There are several of Adrien's behaviours that suggest that Gabriel's overprotectiveness towards him was the only thing wrong with him, but that otherwise Gabriel was excellent. It is time for us to look at that.
1. Origins
Adrien literally enrolled in a school without his father's permission and when his father refused to approve Adrien's attendance, he ran away from home and went running to school. When Nathalie tries to convince him to come back Adrien simply says ‘this is what I want’ and turns around to continue up the stairs, not caring if she has anything else to say. He hears that someone needs help and immediately goes to their aid, and as soon as he finishes doing that he turns to Nathalie and the bodyguard with a charming smile expecting to see their proud faces, and when instead he sees that they are still angry he is immediately horrified and gives up.
This tells us a lot about Adrien: he is a spoilt child who has never been punished in his life, and when things get difficult his first reaction is to be adorable or do a good deed to be forgiven. Adrien intended to leave Nathalie talking to herself, and he wasn't worried about the idea of being punished when he got home from school because he knew it wasn't likely to happen. He then helps someone to ingratiate himself with Nathalie and the bodyguard so that they will stop being angry, and when he realises that it didn't work he is surprised. He is used to people forgiving his disobedience just because he is cute. He immediately gives up and asks Nathalie not to tell Gabriel. While he didn't want his father to be angry with him, he also didn't fear punishment because he knew he wouldn't get it.
Later, at the mansion, Adrien realises that Nathalie did tell Gabriel and he feels betrayed, as if he didn't expect her to do that. Basically, he is not used to people disobeying him. Gabriel again forbids Adrien from going to school but it's nothing he hasn't said before: Gabriel reprimands Adrien's behaviour with words, never with punishment, and there comes a point when words are no longer enough and Adrien is no longer afraid of them, hence he becomes ‘rebellious’. The next day Adrien runs away again and, surprise surprise, he is not punished, in fact he is rewarded. Despite having disobeyed his father again, he is rewarded and allowed to go to school, even Nathalie (whom he treated very badly) offers to help him. This reward is without explanation, just because. I'm not saying Adrien deserved to be locked up for life at home, at the end of the day he's just a teenager who wants to socialise with more people, but it's clear he was a spoilt child whose behaviours both good and bad were praised, just like Chloé and Felix, so if you ever wondered why he was such good friends with them, here's your answer.
2. The Bubbler
Here we get confirmation of how Adrien is a good boy only in front of his father and Nathalie, and how he is himself in front of his friends. At the beginning of the episode he together with Nino makes fun of his father because he does not agree to throw him a birthday party. Then, when Nino is akumatized, he at first refuses to be part of the party because he cares about Nino and wants to save him. Even when he realises that all the adults are trapped in bubbles, he never cares about his father, Nathalie or his bodyguard, only about saving Nino. And then he also gives up on this idea after a little chat with Plagg and says: "Okay, you're right. This might be the first day in my life that I actually get to do what I want for once", and Adrien joins the party without any show of consideration for the adults he knows.
Although all these behaviours were forgotten by the fandom, they are important to understand Adrien's character and how he changed due to his father's abuse. This is the normal behaviour of a teenager with a bit of a grudge: he's not a psychopath who wants something bad to happen to his father, he's a kid who knows that in the end he and his superhero partner will fix everything and he allows himself to have fun in the meantime. But it's something the current Adrien would never do, and there's where the difference lies.
3. Volpina & The Collector
This is the last episode in which we see Adrien acting like a normal teenager. He overhears Gabriel talking on the phone and decides to spy on him, then discovers that he has a safe behind his mother's portrait and out of curiosity goes to investigate. Adrien discovers the book and takes it with him, when he is discovered he quickly makes up a lie. RIP pre-lobotomised Adrien, you will always be missed.
This is the key point in the change of behaviour of both Adrien and Gabriel.
Gabriel confronts Adrien and he immediately gives an explanation in a tone of voice intended to generate sympathy:
—I just wanted to know what you were hiding behind that portrait that was so important.
This doesn't work so he resorts to blaming Gabriel himself:
—You.. you never told me about those things.
And this doesn't work either, so he decides to admit what he did but also looks for a way to justify himself:
—I was intending to give it back to you, I swear. But then I lost it.
Gabriel tells Adrien that he no longer trusts him, and what is Adrien's reaction? He just looks jaded and apologises to Gabriel, in an attitude that makes it clear that he is used to apologising to make things right, that he is not genuinely sorry, and also offers to buy him a new copy, confident that this will be enough for Gabriel to forgive him. This confirms the previous point: Adrien is used to getting out of his punishments just because he looks cute or does a good deed, and this became so repetitive that Adrien already knew how to get out of a punishment, and was not afraid of his father but simply tired of scolding that went nowhere. Again, there is no fear of consequences.
Everything changes completely when Gabriel tells him that this book is unique in the world, that there is no other copy. Apologies didn't work and the other form of redemption, buying him a copy, wasn't possible. Then is when Adrien's face changes completely to horror: he has just understood the magnitude of his mistake. His father punishes him by forbidding him to go back to school and Adrien is heartbroken, but does not try to reason with his father (as he had done, and many times, in past episodes). This is the birth of the Adrien we know now: from a normal boy to a submissive puppet. He knows that there is no way to redeem himself and that is why he decides not to fight, he finally realises that his actions have consequences, serious ones, taking away what is most precious to him: his freedom.
From here on we see a completely changed Adrien, from a rebellious teenager to a perfect doll with no thoughts of his own. Before, he pretended to be perfect only in front of his father, Nathalie and his bodyguard. Now he pretends to be perfect in front of everyone, regardless of whether he knows them or not. The trauma can be clearly seen: Adrien adopts this neat behaviour because he is afraid that his freedom will be taken away if his father finds out that he made another mistake. Now Adrien knows that he CAN be punished. He doesn't even allow himself to breathe in peace because of all the stress and fear he carries. And so it is that Adrien becomes a puppet unable to stop pretending even in front of his own friends: we go from an Adrien who was not afraid to react strangely to Marinette's odd behaviour, who was not afraid to tease Nino about his crush and who was not afraid to put Chloé in her place when the situation warranted it, to an Adrien who could not even keep his back bent for fear that his father would consider it inappropriate.
Gabriel Agreste being a shitty father and exploiting his son's weaknesses to profit from them
Despite being strict with Adrien, there were times when Gabriel let him spend time with his friends and have fun with them. In fact, in S1 there are several of these, most of them to be found there (before all the drama).
In ‘Animan’ he is in the zoo helping Nino with his date with Marinette.
In ‘Gamer’ he is playing video games for the school championship at Marinette's house.
In ‘Kung Food’ he comes to Marinette's house to help her with her uncle and even takes them to the hotel and stays for dinner with them, he spends practically the whole day away from home.
In ‘Horrificator’ he spends many hours filming the movie for the school.
In ‘The puppeteer’ he is going somewhere alone and relaxed.
In ‘Timebreaker’ he is present during the race between Alix and Kim.
As you can see, despite being strict, Gabriel sometimes let his son spend time with his friends. When did this change? After the book incident. After forbidding Adrien to attend school, Gabriel noticed how heartbroken he was and realised that school and his friends were not a whim for Adrien, but something he truly cherished. And Gabriel used these feelings to manipulate Adrien. In S1, before the incident, Adrien is more ‘rebellious’ and still has enough freedom to be with his friends. In S2, after the incident, Adrien behaves much better than in S1 and still doesn't have half as much freedom as before, and when he finally gets his father's permission to be with his friends, something happens at the last minute (Heroes Day Part 2, for example). This is because his father has discovered his Achilles' heel and uses it to benefit himself and manipulate Adrien.
The clearest proof of this is in the difference between ‘Horrificator’, where Gabriel let Adrien spend hours in the school filming the movie, and ‘Queen Banana’, where Gabriel let Adrien go for only a few minutes to the filming and right after he finished his part he literally left in a cage hanging from a helicopter. It is clear the pleasure that man developed in making his son miserable.
And we could talk about ‘Chat Blac’ and ‘Ephemeral’, but I won't touch those topics as they are not part of our timeline. I'll just say that they made it clear how far Gabriel is willing to go (literally traumatise Adrien) in order to get what he wants. What I think, is sick.
Adrien's Stockholm Syndrome: normalisation, justification and romanticisation, and how it makes him vulnerable to unhealthy relationships
1. Gabriel
We have already made it clear that Adrien became an uncritical puppet, and as a result he developed a terrible Stockholm syndrome. Adrien normalised all the manipulation, and by accepting it as something usual this caused him to start justifying it as well. Needless to name the episodes, in many of them there is always someone (usually Nino, Marinette or Plagg) who points out his father's problematic behaviour and Adrien immediately tries to justify it with ‘he does it because he loves me or ‘he just wants to protect me’. This shows us a big difference from the Adrien of S1 who was aware of his father's behaviour and even made fun of it, the current Adrien would never do that, on the contrary, he seems to live to justify Gabriel's actions. That's how serious the brainwashing is.
With Gabriel's behaviours now normalised and justified, they in turn begin to be romanticised. Despite being a shitty person, there are moments when Gabriel treats Adrien well: like when he hugs him (something Adrien is not used to), his worried words to Chat Noir about losing Adrien, or when he watches his mother's movie with him. These are all details that if they weren't accompanied by manipulation, anyone could call ‘cute’. And this makes Adrien unaware of the manipulation at first: his own denial and the kind details his father had for him confused his brain. Adrien did not think that his father could be so kind to him if he was a bad person, and that is why Adrien refused to consider him as such. This is a method of self-defence against dangerous situations, the feelings developed by this are not only romantic but any kind of feelings that are enough to make the victim feel safe in dangerous environments.
2. Kagami and Marinette
Let's start with Adrigami. Adrien didn't show a strong interest in Kagami until the chapter ‘Oni-Chan’ where he even rejects Ladybug's fist to make sure Kagami is okay, but what led to this? The romanticisation of obsession and control.
Kagami is simply Adrien's friend, but when she sees a photo of him with another girl, she gets so jealous that she is akumatized and starts chasing this other girl to get her away from Adrien. This is behaviour that is bad as a girlfriend, but even worse as a friend. Adrien doesn't take this seriously and even spends the whole fight making jokes instead of worrying that one of her friends is a jealous girl who is willing to kill for him even if they don't have any kind of commitment. Then, when he sees that Kagami still has the rose he gave her, his behaviour immediately changes and you could say that this is when he starts to feel a real attraction to her, even rejecting Ladybug's fist, whom he had long been in love with.
Here we see how dangerous the romanticisation of problematic behaviour is: Adrien is willing to let go of all the chaos Kagami caused and all her toxic behaviour just because she showed that she really ‘loved him’. And he reciprocates her feelings because he finds it cute that someone is in love with him enough to go crazy. The romanticisation of Gabriel's actions eventually led Adrien to romanticise other people's actions, even going so far as to feel honoured by all the questionable actions these people committed under the justification of loving him.
Something quite similar happens with Adrinette. In S5 Adrien mentions that he started to accept his feelings for Marinette from what happened in ‘The Puppeteer 2’, and there's no way this isn't weird. He had feelings for Marinette long before that, but it was that event that led him to accept them. Marinette literally assaults a ‘statue’ just because it looks like Adrien, starts fantasizing about a life together, steals one of his hair and many other weird things, and what's Adrien's response? To say that he fell in love. He literally saw how far Marinette was capable of going because of her obsession with him, and as much as that behaviour was justified with ‘it was a joke’, instead of caring, what he does is fall in love with her... because of her obsessive and bizarre behaviour towards him.
It is honestly quite disappointing to see how Gabriel's manipulation damaged Adrien to the point of leaving him craving only unhealthy relationships because that was his perception of love.
Both victim and perpetrator
Adrien developed a split personality and a taste for taking advantage of people when he is in situations of power. Gabriel turned Adrien into a victim and a perpetrator, the role depending on the situation. When Adrien is the one at a disadvantage, he displays submissive and manageable behaviour. When he has all the power, he has no problem using it selfishly and taking advantage of others. This was taught by Gabriel, from prudence to ruthlessness, are things Adrien learned from him. And in a way that's how Adrien differs from Chat Noir: the power they possess.
Adrien is always at a disadvantage: his life is in the public eye, everything he does is always monitored by his father or his fans, and if he makes a mistake it is very easy for his father to find out and punish him. This is why Adrien, always powerless, forces himself to act submissively. He does not possess the power in such situations, so he can only act as he is expected to act.
As Chat Noir things are quite different, he always has the power. Chat Noir is a superhero, he watches over Paris but no one watches over him, he has freedom, destructive power, a city that depends on him and a partner who needs him to defeat the supervillains. He has the power. And he uses this power to his advantage.
A clear example of this is his tendency to threaten. Adrien has several times been willing to give up his miraculous and even verbally threaten (in a passive-aggressive way) Ladybug just because it bothers him that she has secrets. All of S2 was Adrien threatening to give up his miraculous if Ladybug didn't tell him her secrets, and this behaviour wasn't like ‘we can't keep hiding things from each other anymore, this isn't healthy for me and if we're not going to be honest it's best to just give up’, no, this behaviour was like ‘if you don't tell me what you're hiding, I'll give this up and you see if you can do it all by yourself or if you find me a replacement’. I understand that he was tired of the situation, but manipulation is never justifiable behaviour. Evidence of this is found in episodes such as ‘Syren’, where Adrien even threatens Plagg with give up his Miraculous if he doesn't tell him what Ladybug is hiding.
Another example is ‘Glaciator’, where he invites Ladybug to a dinner and she makes it clear that she already has plans and is unlikely to go. And yet Adrien is self-illusioned, and when his fantasies are shattered by something Ladybug had already warned him would happen, he simply accuses her of mocking him, throws a tantrum, refuses to help with the akuma, and when Ladybug comes up with a good plan to defeat the villain he guilts her by saying: ‘Sorry, Ladybug, it's not cool to play with people's feelings’ when Ladybug never played with his feelings and in fact realised these only minutes ago.
There are many other episodes like these, too many to list. I guess the most notorious ones are ‘NY Special’ (where he has no problem being unfaithful to Kagami) and ‘Lies’ (where he also has no problem being unfaithful, lying to her, trying to provoke akumatizations and so on). His problematic behaviours are not only as Chat Noir, but also as Adrien when he finds himself in relationships where he has the power. In his courtship with Kagami he knows that she is completely in love with him and uses this to his advantage and does truly horrible things like the ones mentioned above without regard for her feelings because he knows or believes that she won't leave him. Something similar happens with his friendship with Chloé, he knows how much Chloé appreciated him and so every time she committed a bad deed he threatened to end their friendship. It's not wrong to want your friend to stop being a shitty person, and it's okay to let him/her know that if he/she continues this stupid behaviour you'll have no choice but to walk away, but the problem with this is that we go from Adrien's genuine concern for Chloé to empty threats just because, in the end, Chloé wouldn't change her behaviour and he wouldn't leave either.
Conclusions
This is not as well written as I would like it to be. I procrastinated for weeks and when I finally decided to write it I no longer had the series so fresh in my memory. I am a teenager with no professional knowledge of psychology who wrote this at 3 a.m. while I was not so sober.
This post is not salt against Adrien/Chat Noir, in all of ‘Miraculous’ there are only two or three characters I hate and none of those are Adrien, so this post is not hate towards him. While I did describe some of his behaviour in a not so nice way, that was not a personal opinion but an analysis. Like when you go to a psychologist and he doesn't give you his personal opinion but a diagnosis, the main difference being that I am not a professional nor do I claim to be one. Anyways, this is a direct attack on Gabriel Agreste for being a shitty person.
As you may have noticed, most of this analysis is based on S1 to S3. While I did mention some episodes from S4 and S5 they were not as relevant, this is because the first 3 seasons are the ones I've seen the most and ergo the ones I remember the most, maybe later (I don't think so) I'll do a part two on S4 and S5.
Finally: my personal opinion on Adrien. He is an amazing character whose development and build goes unnoticed by the fandom, this is probably because it wasn't done on purpose (if this character build was planned it wouldn't be half as good as it is, the writers aren't that talented). Adrien is just a boy, a victim of an abusive home that ingrained several of his father's behaviours within him and he has no ‘true personality’ as this depends on the situation he finds himself in. He acts this way as a method of survival and although it is not right, it is a psychological response and it is not as if he can help it. I'm really happy that the poor boy is free from his abusive father and I hope that in S6 he can be happy and get therapy.

Highlights:
Geoff knew that his son was an addict. They had last seen each other on August 29 last year in Manchester, for the singer's birthday. "He was fine, stable, clean," he said in his testimonial in Buenos Aires. But, according to the contents of his statement, he didn't know everything. He assured the investigators that Liam planned to stay only five days in Argentina. Also, that the former One Direction singer didn't have a phone.
Liam didn't have his own cell phone and it was his decision, in recent years he changed his cell phone numerous times. He decided to be disconnected as a method of protection to avoid social networks and also to stay away from the possibility of recurring in his addictions. That decision was personal to him and he had all the support from the family group, personally, I agreed that it was really a way to take care of himself for him"
Liam, in Argentina, had his cell phone. It was kidnapped by the City Police after his death and appraised by order of the Justice. Geoff, then, depended on intermediaries to know about his son. "For that reason my telephone contact with Liam was not direct, it was always through third parties," he said
Then, he identified them with name and surname: Kate Cassidy, Liam's girlfriend, and businessman Rogelio Nores, alias "Roger". "They were in his care because of his addictions. To Kate for love and Roger because he accompanied and took care of Liam in these last months and reported his state to me."
He didn't find out on television. It was Nores himself who warned him that his son had died, in a way: "I learned of Liam's death by Roger. I was at home with my wife. He called me at 5:23 pm, Buenos Aires time, but I didn't see the call until about an hour later. In the middle he called me once again and sent me a message to call him as soon as possible. When I saw all those calls at 6:18 pm here, I called him back," according to his testimony, which Infobae accessed.
What happened?, asked Geoff Payne.
-An accident happened, Nores replied: It's true, it's true.
-Is he dead?! Is he dead?!
-You have to come to Argentina.
Then, Geoff Payne contacted his daughters, Liam's older sisters: they already knew it, like the rest of the world. Nores called him in the meantime, over and over again. The singer's father, this time, did not return the contact
Payne father would know Nores well in mid-2024. The businessman appears strongly in a moment of crisis. "We managed to maintain it, stabilize it, but Liam was not improving. It was stable but it wasn't getting better. At that time, Liam received calls from Roger, I didn't know who he was," he continued. The businessman, said Payne Sr., offered to support the former One Direction "in exchange for nothing."
"We stayed 10 weeks there with Liam, the four of us. During that time we formed a team with Roger and the bodyguard for Liam's recovery, always monitored by psychologists and psychiatrists, all of Roger's contacts so I now don't have his data. Liam's girlfriend came and went."
However, simple friendship would then change, at least, according to Payne father.
The link between Nores and Liam, with the course of the case, would become a key to the imputation.
Payne's father said:
“The two of them had a friendly relationship. It is true that Roger this year managed meetings for Liam to enter the labor market again, but he said that he did it to help him, not for something in return or with a contract in between, he was just looking for his relationships. I also noticed lately that Roger was directing Liam to develop more in business than in his artistic part. This change of direction in Liam's work was not flattering for him, because what he liked to do and did him good was making music," he said.
Here, another piece on the board comes into play, which was not imputed by Justice: Nores' supposed girlfriend.
"Liam knew that I thought it was wrong to leave the music for the investments. When I met Roger, he was focused on Liam's well-being and believed it was genuine; then, Roger changed his focus when he tried to integrate his girlfriend into the circle of trust we had with Liam, his girlfriend, the bodyguard and me." The bride even showed up in Wellington.
In the end, Payne father didn't even know which hotel Liam was staying at before his death.
On the Wednesday of Liam's death, "a friend or girlfriend of his also sent me messages, 'Lula' expressing her condolences, I don't know how he got my number because I never gave it to her, surely Roger gave it to her, said Payne father.

More rambling lol
So with Solar killing the creator, the families reaction kinda bothered me ngl. Solar killed the creator out of anger, without telling anyone, which lead to huge consequences to him and the family. Just like Sun & Lunar. Except the family reacted differently to this. When Sun killed Bloodmoon, he ended up getting locked away by Moon, who heavily disagreed with the whole killing thing and just left him there. Sun later indirectly leads to Moon death. When Lunar killed Eclipse, he was basically separated from the family (the only person to really help him through that time was Solar, but multiple times throughout that, we see him alone in his apartment, so idk if Solar was really there all that much) and had to go on trial and was in huge trouble with the astrals. Yet when Solar kills the creator, the family doesn’t care? Like what happened to “don’t kill people guys.” And it can’t be that it’s because the Creator was bad and they all hated him. None of the family liked Bloodmoon, same with Eclipse. This show is really weird with when and when it isn’t okay to kill the bad guys. It’s okay for some people to kill others, but when others do it “OH NO, why would you do that? That was horrible.”
Also, quick question. Why did none of the family (except for Solar) check up on Lunar after he killed Eclipse? Like he was definitely not doing good and probably shouldn’t have been left alone, and yet no one was really there. Sun and Moon (well Nexus ig, but he was Moon at the time) never checked up on him for like anything. When he got attacked by Bloodmoon, neither of them physically checked up on him. We know that they cared because we saw that, but Lunar doesn’t. They just asked if he was okay to Earth and then never checked up on him. It’s stupid. It kinda feels like they never wanted him around, at least for Nexus. The dude would rather build a secret bodyguard to watch over Lunar, instead of y’know, inviting him to live with Sun and Moon and keeping an eye on him?! Like it makes sense that Lunar developed the whole “why should I help when it’s gonna be fixed in a week” thing, cause both Sun and Moon never really checked up on him when he was going through something. Only Solar and Earth did (as usual, the reward of best family members goes to them).

Proof that Jinx Ziggs has a heart
I'm currently writing the first chapter of my Jinx!Ironman AU fic ❤️❤️❤️
I don't have an estimate of when it will be finished just yet because I keep going back and rewriting and editing as I go, but as soon as I finish I'll be announcing it here on Tumblr.
In the meantime, here is a list of character that I've come up with so far:
Powder "Jinx" Ziggs -
Jinx is obviously playing Tony Stark. There are some diversions from Tony Stark's character. For one, Jinx will still have her family and is a single mother to Isha. She is somewhat estranged from her family because of her busy lifestyle.
She also has a history of struggling with psychosis and is prone to auditory hallucinations but has made leaps and bounds in handling her condition.
Another diversion is that she built up her wealth independently, unlike Tony, who came from generational wealth.
Her company is called Jinx Industries, and even though her legal name is Powder, she prefers to be called Jinx.
She also prefers to go by her birth parent's names, because she's scared that their name will be gone forever if she doesn't go by it.
Isha Connie Ziggs -
Is Jinx's biological daughter, she was conceived by accident when her mother's gynecologist messed up their schedule and impregnated Jinx instead of inserting an IUD. Jinx used the settlement from suing the clinic to invest in her company. She also doesn't know who the sperm donor is, but that information will be coming to light later on in the story.
Jinx does what she can to keep Isha out of the public eye, for her own safety and to try and give her a somewhat normal childhood.
Isha absolutely loves her mother, and bugs ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sevika Wafiya -
Sevika was a close friend to Felicia during her pregnancy with Jinx, and became Jinx's godmother when she was born.
She has been by Jinx's side her whole life, and they act more like sisters than mother and daughter. They are constantly butting heads. However, when Jinx needs advice or needs help cleaning up a mess, Sevika is who she'll go to.
When Jinx started her business, Sevika was the one to step in and help her get it up and running.
Her role in the company now is basically as a Jack of all trades. She runs the security in Jinx Industries, steps in and fills in for Jinx when Jinx isn't available such as when she doesn't turn up to claim an award or just decides to skip an important interview, and keeps things running smoothly alongside Lux.
When Jinx went missing, she organized for Isha to be sent to her family for safekeeping and got to work making sure that some of the more greedy board members didn't take Jinx's absence as an opportunity to grab the CEO seat.
She is loyal to Jinx.
Yasuo Hiraoka (I don't know Yasuo's full name in LoL, so I came up with one myself) -
Yasuo is Isha's personal bodyguard, Jinx hired him after a kidnapping attempt when Isha was four. Jinx and Sevika didn't play around with Isha's safety and sought out a former assassin to keep the little girl safe.
Yasuo is a very patient man and has developed a mild obsession with Animal Crossing. He and Isha play together often.
He is extremely protective of Isha.
Luxanna Crownsguard -
Lux is Jinx's personal assistant, she basically plays the role of Pepper Potts but isn't a romantic interest. Her and Jinx are best friends, and she is Isha's godmother.
Lux was disowned by her family for being an Inhuman and was given a job by Jinx, she takes her duties seriously and is one of the only people who can handle Jinx.
Vi Kirraman -
Vi is married to Caitlyn, and is a former Enforcer. She quit after a near death experience on the job and realized that she actually really hated her work and wanted to do something different with her life.
She opened her own gym that mostly caters to Enforcers, soldiers, MMA fighters, and so on.
She's currently working from home, due to reasons.
Caitlyn Kirraman -
Caitlyn is the Commander of the Twin City Forces and basically plays the role of Rhodey in this AU, she was previously an Enforcer but transferred over to the Twin City Forces when it was established as a means to draw Zaun and Piltover closer together.
She works quite a bit with Jinx, they used to be at each others throats but have somehow managed to form a solid friendship over the years. Caitlyn is Jinx's only real connection to the rest of her family.
She is career-driven and a bit of a workaholic but tries to make time for her family as they are extremely important to her.
When Jinx goes missing, she jumps right into action and is determined to bring her sister-in-law home to her family.
Mylo Lanes -
Owns several businesses in fashion, locksmithing, and even a dive bar.
He is currently single but is in the process of courting Gert, a DJ who works closely with The Chemical Sisters.
Claggor Lanes -
Is a botanist, who is working on improving Zaun's air quality using plants (much like his S2E7 AU self). He works closely with Ekko.
Claggor has his own daughter, named Cleo who is four-years-old. Cleo's mother is Sona Buvelle (I read a Star Guardians fic once where her and Claggor were sweet on each other, and just had to get them together for this one <3).
Sona Buvelle -
Is a virtuoso, and Inhuman. Who is engaged to Claggor Lanes, who she shares a four-year-old daughter with. She plays in the Piltover Grand Orchestre, on the high harp and grand piano, and is well renowned for her beautiful music.
Ekko Bennett -
Is Jinx's ex-best friend and ex-lover, they were never actually official but were close enough. They had a falling out due to miscommunication, and some meddling from Ekko's birth parents who thought knew what was best for their son, despite not being very present in his life. Due to this meddling, Ekko and Jinx had a falling out resulting in Jinx moving overseas, to Bilgewater, and cutting contact with Ekko.
When Ekko found out about the meddling he cut contact with his parents, and tried to get in contact with Jinx but it was too late.
He threw himself into his work in physics, engineering, and bio-engineering. He works tirelessly to improve the environmental status of Zaun with Claggor, and spends a lot of his free time working with the community and following Jinx's work even though he doesn't approve of her weapons manufacturing.
He suspects that Isha might be his daughter, and is pissed with Jinx for keeping him away.
There's still a bit more world-building to be done, but here are a few things to keep in mind:
The AU is set in Runetrra not Earth
Yordles, Vasteyans, Chireans, and other magical beings in LoL are citizens
Magic is a thing, but it isn't commercialized
Hex-Tech is a controversial technology
Piltover and Zaun are separate states but Piltover is constantly working on trying to merge with Zaun again
And, Vander and Silco's relationship is a great big question mark to everyone, they keep calling each other brothers but live together and raise four kids together and are always touchy-feely.
Anyhoo, this is what I have so far. I tried not to give away to much here because I want to leave some mystery for the actual story.

I feel like Viv’s Character of Beelzebub should have been the sin a Greed instead of mammon the one thing I don’t like about her design is that there is too many accessories on her. But maybe this can work if she’s the sins of greed.
In my vision, beelzebub not only she will be the sin of greed but I want he to be similar to mother from Futurama. Well in public, she’s a nice girl who is for the people by the people this is way she host her party to show her love to them. In reality those parties are just distractions, Just to get the people high or drug up to view her as a nice person. To not see the real reality that Bee hates her people and the only use she see in them is easy money to sell.
Finally, I wouldn’t let her date Vortex instead let her bodyguard a female Cerberus we can call her Cerbrina a very big and strong 3 head dog with their own personality.
Anyway that’s all I got thanks you and have a nice day.
These are all hella good ideas! I love the Cerbrina Hellhound idea, I'd love to think she's a descendent of the original Cerberus, but since Cerberus is the protector of Gluttony in Dante's inferno, and for your idea Bee- now Mammon ig, would probably be gifted Cerbrina as a body guard. Brings up the idea that all princess would have a Hell hound each and thus raise the status of hell hound (THE FACT HELL HOUNDS ARE LOWER THEN IMPS IS INSANE BTW)
Also yea, Viv's interpretation of Beelzebub is heavily overindulgent in design, which ig is gluttonous, but its to the detriment of the character. She actually has little accessories, she has the exact same outfit as Loona, its just that the amount of colours and piling of design aspects. Like floating hair, spikey hair, antennae eyelashes, extra arm, lava belly, large ears with more antennae, extra eyes etc leads to to being WAY TOO MUCH in a bad way. (OOF RUN ON SENTENCE)
Shes def written as a toxic positivity person, but like, not even on purpose, because Viv herself is extremely into toxic positivity. The fact its implied she has those parties just to get hell hounds knocked up is INSANE, and how she's framed as a GOOD GUY despite doing that????
anyway, ty for your ideas and thoughts! theyre all super awesome and much appreciated!
