seen the wonka movie twice now, once dubbed, would have gone again today but am sick aff (coincidence.. sign from the lord to not harm myself.. who knows) and am still fuuuming literally tf is this movie. obvs trying to be a 71 prequel but by trying to be that they shoehorned so many references in to the point it doesn't make sense as a prequel anymore???? and why is the oompa more wonkaesque than wonka? down to quotes (eyeroll through the galaxy) and mannerism? the second time around i managed to separate it more from wonka and see it as its own wintery movie which i suspected before going might work better anyway and it does but hooo boyy this is a mess

also mad neither cinema had a wonka popcorn bucket or cup.. i would've sold outttt

got to participate in an exit poll today 😭 it had literally been a dream since i was first allowed to vote but didn't think it would ever come true and now it happened, best dayyy eveerrrr

#personal Davy #i'd always turn up hoping to see exit poll ppl outside but there was never anyone and i had kind of given up and thought #ok well ig they're not coming to this lil station it's just too small but when i turned up today i saw some suspicious ppl outside #i didn't dare hope but i got stopped and asked if i would be ok participating 😭😭 they said they were asking every 5th person #idk how strict they are with it but how lucky how frickingggg lucky that i happened to be thr fifth person #i was standing in the hallway entry whatever thing looking around all lost bc i wasn't sure if the fam had left already #at any point someone could've gotten out before me but no <333 i'm so so so so happyyy literal life goal that i had no influence on achieved

What are your thoughts on Warwick Davis? He is a famous British actor with dwarfism. I loved him in Willow since it was my first exposure to him outside of the Hogwarts movies.

Hello! I have indeed discussed Warwick Davis on this blog! I absolutely adore him and his career, especially in Willow (1988) and his various roles in Harry Potter (though I no longer support J.K Rowling).

Like all Little actors, he's had to play some not so great roles, but for the most part Warwick has been a major talent within the fantasy genre. He is beloved in Hollywood and holds a special place in my heart!
