Percybaster nation, I've got a fic idea for you guys!

A fic where Alabaster finds Percy and follows him home to kill him, (because he still has that grudge) but of course Percy notices and confronts him outside of the door to his apartment. Percy tries to do the Percy thing and talk it out , but in the middle of that the door swings open and it's Sally.

She greets them both and asks Percy who the other boy is and Percy says that Alabaster is one of his friends from camp to try and not escalate the situation. Before Alabaster can say anything, Sally automatically invites him in to join them for dinner and offers him to stay the night if he needed some place to stay (because she's amazing like that). And for some reason, Al can't bring himself to say no.

And that's how Al goes from Percy basically being his mortal enemy, to joining his family for dinner at least once a month. And during that time Percy and Al have chances to talk everything out and eventually fall in love. The end 😌

Poseidon is prepared to meet his son's new mortal bf. Jason and Percy, of course, do not know about this - they enjoy happiness in their ignorance.

Percy later learns the story and looks up at Olympus and just stares as he fiddles with wedding ring.

Jason’s wedding band is on Percy’s necklace now. It didn’t burn with Jason’s body. It was perfectly intact. Even in death the gods refused to let them love each other.
