Yk that Cherik had figured out about Gerard being his father, but never told him about this (before it was too late)…

I was thinking… This would’ve probably made him have a really bad breakdown and be like: “I’m such a hideous monster that even my father won’t admit that I’m his child.” Making him loathe himself even more…

Maybe even trying to convince himself, almost force himself, that he is wrong and Gerard isn’t really his father, just to preserve that little sanity still remaining…

I believe that if Gerard had taken just a crumb of responsibility and didn’t relegate his son to live in darkness, Erik could’ve been pretty happy (obviously the stigma of a masked man would have still remained, but Gerard was the director of the Opera house… He could’ve secured a nice position for his son…)

Reminder to get your COVID booster when they're available. I kept putting off my next dose because of my schedule, and I've been out with COVID for eight days now.

Posting the symptoms I had to inform others as COVID is constantly evolving:

Day 1 (3 or 4 days after exposure): started as a feeling of "imminent sickness" in the back of my throat. I otherwise felt 100%.

Day 2: Extremely tired. Congestion. Limited all contact.

Day 3: 101 Fever. Congestion. Extremely tired. Couldn't make it through lecturing my class (remotely). Began medicating with Theraflu (acetaminophen). Tested positive for COVID with the fastest and clearest positive test I've ever seen.

Day 4: Fever between 99 and 101.5. Cancelled all activity. Spent all day in bed. Extreme congestion. Extreme aches & chills at night. This day was absolutely miserable. My friend brought me soup. I cried about it. Continued with Theraflu. Considered going to the ER due to severity of symptoms.

Day 5: Intermittent low-grade fever at 99.8. Congestion continued, coughing and sneezing began.

Day 6: Fever cleared. Coughing & sneezing intensified. Tested again as per CDC recommendations: still a strong positive. Began taking Robitussin (cough syrup only, no acetaminophen).

Day 7: Coughing worsened significantly. Lots of liquids, lots of Robitussin.

Day 8: Today! No fever, no cough, some slight congestion remains. Once again tested positive for COVID-- with a weaker positive this time! I expect I'll be back to normal by day 10, but... trust me, if you're going to get your "booster" through a needle or ten days of this, choose the booster! As a reminder, you can order up to 4 free COVID tests at the end of September through HHS.gov!

And I've seen a lot of posts saying "don't follow the polls because they're being entirely run and paid for by the most partisan people imaginable running garbage data."

and I've even seen, "don't follow the polls because the sampling is really biased."

but I've not seen a single one going, "don't follow the polls because even in their extremely small and biased samples, some of these people just straight up fucking lie to them?"

Wanted to post about these cause they are all very near and dear to my heart :3 most of these have been with me since child hood, I think the only one that hasn’t is the manhattan project (I’m interested in the science of it, not the actual weapons). I can talk about any of these give topics for HOURS on end <3

Note: this doesn’t include my fixations, these have been with me my entire life (bugs, fish, ships, renewable energy, white star line), they have only gotten more specific with age :3

Im willing to talk about any of these with anyone, I get so happy sharping my knowledge and other fun facts related to these topics!! I would be cool to make friends with people that share my passion in any one of these fields 💕🐛

Two serious accidents involving low-cost carriers (LCCs) occurred in Korea in 2024 and 2025. It is rare for accidents to occur so close together in the same country, but it is important that both involved LCCs. The increase in LCC operations is due to the matching of the needs of airlines and passengers. The airlines can secure many passengers, and the passengers can travel cheaply.

However, passenger planes, which were previously used by the relatively wealthy, are now available to the middle and poor classes, so country folk who do not understand global common sense will flock to tourist destinations around the world and tourist destinations will be ruined by ill-mannered customers. This is overtourism. Furthermore, some criminals commit crimes in their destination countries and then flee back to their home countries (hit and run). These trends are severe for Chinese people visiting Japan.

I don't think we need LCCs. Travel should be something that only those with a keen eye who can take advantage of it can do. In the old days in Japan, only those who were recognized by the country could travel abroad. It's insane that even criminals can travel.

i just think people need to remember being a nun was not isabelle's life calling and something she kind of took up mostly for survival. yes, she ends up finding comfort in it but i think that reducing her to A Nun (and in most instances not even using her name, just calling her "the nun") not only serves to degender her (because in a way it feels like people don't see her as A Woman, but A Nun), but also kind of takes away from her humanity. sanding her character down to this one trait seems the easiest way to make it seem like she's paper thin/badly written/badly acted/whatever excuse people want to use to hate her/be misogynistic about her presence/pretend to be surprised that daryl can care about her (in any capacity. not just in a romantic sense) because "she's a nun" as if nuns aren't People with thoughts and feelings. and isabelle has shown a LOT of personality. she is a survivor, just like daryl. she's so much more than "a nun" so the insistence to reference her solely by her faith just feels so forced
