My best friend showed me the series "Soy Luna" in the summer of 2018, when the first episodes of the first season were released (in our dub) on one YouTube channel. She watched all the episodes that had come out at that time and asked me, while watching the first one, who do I think Luna will end up with? And I, a naive teenager, decided that she would be with Simon. Why? Well, even then I subconsciously loved the "friends to lovers" trope, and their friendship seemed comfortable and harmonious to me. Plus, I've never really been a fan of characters like Matteo. While I was watching the first season, I was scrolling through fandom posts in my native language. And quite a lot of people loved Lutteo, some of them almost hated Simon. But I really don't understand it. All my life I have dreamed of a friend who will always help and protect me. As a little girl, I was incredibly amazed by how Simon easily rushed from one country to another for the sake of Luna. His songs about her are also delightful. And the whole Lutteo dynamic with their teasing and jokes (and it's not just that, but I need to rewatch it to refresh my memory) in this fandom isn't entirely clear to me. I love Talon and Penny from "Inspector Gadget", Daniel and Julie from "Julie e Os Fantasmas", but it's not the same.

5+1 AU Characters as Taylor Swift Songs
I got bored yesterday and my ADHD + my swiftie brain decided to put together what says would go together with the characters of my fic. This was mostly done for fun but if you know the meanings behind these songs, I'm going to enjoy feasting on your suffering 😈
Here's the link to my fic here if you haven't read it yet.
Pomni/Penny: Mirrorball
And I'm still a believer, but I don't know why. I've never been a natural, all I do is try, try, try
I thought this song best fit Pomni/Penny due to her complicated relationship with her dad and how that affected her as a person, always trying to do her best despite what's thrown at her, even if it hurts her in the process and she doesn't know why.
Jax/Jack: This Is Me Trying
Could've followed my fears all the way down And maybe I don't quite know what to say. But I'm here in your doorway I just wanted you to know. That this is me trying
I mean, I think its kinda obvious (cough cough chapter 5 cough cough). Jax/Jack went through a lot as a kid before he moved in with Winter and the Alvarez's and yes while he's hurting, he wants to heal but as ya'll know, relapses happen. But he'll always keep trying.
Riley: Karma
Karma's gonna track you down. Step by step, from town to town. Sweet like justice, karma is a queen
I had fun with this one. As ya'll know, Riley is quite protective over those she cares about (she's also an FBI agent so if you hurt Penny you probably won't be seen the next day). Riley is always gonna make sure that those who decide to fuck around are gonna find out. After all, karma is a bitch.
Winter: 22
You don't know about me but I'll bet you want to. Everything will be alright if we just keep dancing like we're 22
Ah Winter, my sassy lesbian queen. Winter has always been fun to write due to how positive and fun she is. Teasing Jack, being lovey dovey with Riley and hyping up Penny as well. She would be one of those people who throw the wildest parties and dread cleaning up the next day, but doesn't care as long as she and others are having fun.
Amber: Tolerate It
Lay the table with the fancy shit. And watch you tolerate it
Amber, mother of two and the ex of the man that everyone in discord wants dead. This reflects what her marriage to David was like and her releasing how awful he was after they divorced. Amber is a strong and protective mother bear, but she was hurt first emotionally to become that strong. Sometimes there will be moments will break, but she always picks herself back up for her girls, David forgotten at the back of her mind for their sake.
~okay let's focus on some duo/trio songs~
Pomni/Penny & Jax/Jack: Wildest Dreams
Say you'll remember me. Standin' in a nice dress. Starin' at the sunset, babe. Red lips and rosy cheeks. Say you'll see me again. Even if it's just in your wildest dreams
Come on, are you really surprised? It's the title of the last chapter and basically this fic's theme! Even if they don't realise who each other are, there memories stay in their dreams and their shown just how beautiful their love was!!!!
Riley & Winter: Paper Rings
I like shiny things, but I'd marry you with paper rings. Uh-huh, that's right. Darling, you're the one I want
Let's go! Let's go lesbians let's go!!! The yuri deserve a nice lovey dovey song. These two are just so sweet with one another and the reason why Jack and Penny got together (much to Riley's disappointment lol) and they deserve all the happiness. And yes this song was in their wedding playlist.
Pomni/Penny & Riley: Safe and Sound
No one can hurt you now. Come morning light. You and I'll be safe and sound
This song is definitely a parallel of Penny and Riley's sisterhood, especially growing up with David still in the picture. Riley doing her job as an older sister, shielding her little sister whenever David wanted to target her with his verbal abuse. Riley hates every fibre of her father's being, it only got worse after he involved Penny in the car accident. No matter what, even as adults, Riley will always protect her baby sister from everything...until the day she couldn't.
Winter & Jax/Jack: The Best Day
God smiles on my little brother, inside and out. He's better than I am I grew up in a pretty house and I had space to run. And I had the best days with you
This was how Winter viewed her and Jack when he moved in with her family. Jack is and always will be her little brother, even if they aren't blood related. She and her family give him the life he didn't and the space to thrive, and neither she or Jack would trade it for the world even after all these years.
Pomni/Penny & Amber: Bigger Than The Whole Sky
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye. You were bigger than the whole sky
Hehe ya'll gonna hate me for this one. But yeah, after Penny went missing, it hit Amber like a freight train. Penny was her baby, she watched her daughter go through hell and back, and helped with her healing, watched her fall in love, comforted her through her heartbreak and the next day she disappeared, and no one can find her. She grieves her daughter every day, as though she truly passed away. She and Penny had a relationship like no other, there's nothing stronger than a mother's love for her child.
Riley & Amber: Dear Reader
The greatest of luxuries is your secrets. Dear reader, when you aim at the devil make sure you don't miss. Never take advice from someone who's falling apart
While Amber loves Penny, never once did she neglect Riley or see her problems as inferior. She loves both her babies more than anything. But she can tell that Riley has gone through a lot, watching her father grow apart from her and seeing her little sister get hurt over and over again. This song is kinda reminiscent of chapter 3 (with Amber reassuring Riley that she's not wrong to feel upset with her dad), but also Amber teaching Riley what she knows and so she doesn't make the same mistakes as she did.
Amber & Riley & Pomni/Penny: Never Grow Up
Oh, darlin', don't you ever grow up. Don't you ever grow up. Just stay this little. Oh, darlin', don't you ever grow up. Don't you ever grow up. It could stay this simple
Let's end it off bittersweet with our three girls. This is reminiscing over her daughters, more so the good moments of their childhood (David isn't in these memories which isn't a surprise). It kind of hits Amber when she sees her girls all grown up and living their own lives, just how far they've come since they were kids. She gave birth to them, helped them take their first steps, cried at their first words, dropped them off both at their first days at school, teasing Riley over her first crush on a girl, comforting and spending each day Penny was in hospital after the accident, letting them cry in her shoulder over David leaving, reassured Riley that she wasn't abandoning Penny once the older of the two left for college, helped Penny overcome her eating habits, watched her girls fall in love. It leaves her tearful and proud of how much they've grown.
I hope you guys enjoyed this, and keep an eye out for my next funnybunny fic on ao3 and tumblr called 'Royally Screwed'. It's a royal AU based on the ideas and art of one of my friends on discord and I hope ya'll like it when it comes out!

Hi, I saw you reblog a post recently about Daisy Jones & the Six and I wanna say I love the show as well as the book but there were so many differences between them that disappointed me. Anyway, do you think Billy and Camila will get divorced in the last two episodes? I’ve noticed that in the interviews, Camila has her maiden name Alvarez instead of Billy’s last name. Also, in the show she seems threatened by Daisy and says that if Billy loves her then that is when this ends. And we know that Billy has been a bad husband to Camila in the past as he cheated on her and in the show he does end up kissing Daisy. I know this may be messed up but I hope Billy and Camila won’t get divorced and that they’ll be endgame. I want the last two episodes to show that their marriage gets better and Billy learns to be a much better husband and father. This seems to be happening in episode 8 of the series as there’s several cute scenes between them and she’s even telling him about her day when they’re in a hotel room. And I shipped them so hard when I was reading the book as Billy did try to be a good husband to Camila after he got sober. And as I’ve mentioned, the series already had so many changes from the book and I want the last two episodes to pretty much follow the book. That would mean Billy and Camila would stay together and their marriage improves since that happened in the book.
Hi.
There are a lot of changes the tv adaption made that I don't like, the one that bothers me the most is that they kind of erased all the love Billy has for Camila. For example, they didn't show the first song he wrote for her, Señora, or that he would call her even when he didn't have a penny, or how he took her and the girls to Disneyland, or that Aurora was written for Camila and Billy sang it to her, when that one is such a beautiful moment in the book:
And they took all the significance Camila has for Billy, and not just her but their girls too. I was very impressed with Billy in the book, because he actually changed after he got sober. And even though you can see there are multiple times he's about to relapse he never does, because it is as if Camila and his girls are his anchor.
I can see how much love he has for Camila, and the huge effort he's putting in being a better man for her, for being the man she deserves. To me billy's story is about how his love for his family is so big that it overules his self destructiveness and it's the thing that keeps him safe and whole.
I agree with you, I shipped them a lot when reading the book, they're my favourite couple from the book and I was so happy when they ended up together. I love them as a couple so much.
In the show they really made Billy worse, he barely talks with Camila, he never shares the songs with her. They turned him into an absent parent, that he isn't in the books. For example, in the show Camila says: he's never here (talking about their house) and when he's here he really isn't here. And in the book is the complete opposite, look at this quote:
So I'm pretty upset about these changes because I feel like they damaged Billy's character a lot, and his story.
As for the show, yes you're right they did show his love for Camila and Julia in episode 8 and as you do I hope they end up together and that during the last two episodes they show how much he loves his family. I don't know if that's going to happen.
From the spoilers I've seen they don't get divorced, and they do end up together at the end, so that's good. I just wish they wouldn't have changed so much from the books in regards to his character and the huge faith Camila has in him.

stories you have to read to understand my brain:
(this includes both fiction and nonfiction because people need to stop being wimpy about nonfiction tbqh)
i make no promises about the quality of each particular work or whether you will like them personally. some of them i have not reread in years. some of them i reread at least once a year. some of them are for children. some of them are definitely not. google the triggers for each and make your own judgments. this is not in any particular order either.

Name: Charlotte “Charlie” Prescott Vaisman
Age & Birthday: 40 & Sept 24
Gender/Pronouns: Cis Woman / She & Her
Birthplace: Los Angeles, CA
Job/role in LA: Manager at Hollywood Park Casino / Renegades
Positive personality traits: astute, nurturing, protective, resilient
Negative personality traits: guarded, outspoken, stubborn, suspicious
ABOUT
Born to Theodora Prescott and Matthew Vaisman and a big family, Charlie always had big dreams. They weren’t from a well off part of town but they were better off than most, with family dinners every Sunday, late night talks on neighboring porches. Charlie grew up loved and close to her family.
But the world beyond LA called to her and so she saved up every penny she had from every job, determined that when it came time for her to graduate, she’d start on her big adventure. Of course, life had other plans when she and her highschool boyfriend, Luke Daniels got pregnant. At only 16, Charlie was, understandably, uncertain about what the future held. But Luke was with her every step of the way, along with that great big family of hers. And those big dreams? They changed with the birth of their first daughter, Theodora “Teddy”, and their second a year later, Matilda “Mattie."
Any penny went towards raising two young girls. Charlie proved to be resilient over the years, with no job being beneath her if it helped make ends meet. But LA isn’t cheap, and eventually, Luke took drastic measures to get involved with the Renegades. Charlie didn’t speak to him for two weeks after, because they’d both decided to steer clear of illegal activities for the sake of their girls. But Luke was doing this for his girls, including Charlie.
So the years came and went, Luke doing various jobs for the Alvarez family. All the while, Charlie was focused on her girls staying out of the Renegades business and to reach the goals she’d never had a chance to.
4 years ago, however, life changed drastically when Luke was killed due to his involvement with the Renegades. Their lives were turned upside down and Charlie blamed the Alvarez family and their associates for her loss. But without Luke’s income from the gang, things were getting harder to handle.
So to honor Luke’s sacrifice, the Alvarez family, always taking care of their own, offered Charlie a job at their casino. She’s been there for a few years now, working her way up to manager. It’s not ideal, and she doesn’t do much for the Renegades except slip tidbits of information about guests on occasion. She made it clear that if she took the job, she would only do it above board. But it’s only a matter of time before things change – she knows it can’t last forever. Still, Charlie is as determined as ever to keep herself, and her daughters, out of Renegade involvement. But between her job and their community, it feels that they’re everywhere she looks and Charlie wonders if this is what Luke had realized all along – that there was no escaping the inevitable.

BASICS
Name: Elliot Cross
Age & Birthday: 34, December 20
Gender/Pronouns: cisman & he/his
Species: Werewolf
Birthplace: Atlanta, Georgia
Job/role: Anvil Security / Part time at flower shop still LOL
Positive traits: good-natured, humorous, intelligent, pensive
Negative traits: anxious, reactive, sarcastic, restless
ABOUT
Elliot was born into the brutal Cross pack, on the outskirts of Atlanta in Center Hill. He was raised under the iron fist of their father, who had a burning temper, and the cowering gaze of their mother, a woman who had her own host of issues to take care of, let alone her children. It wasn't an easy upbringing, and without his brother, Elliot's certain he'd never have survived. Not only did he struggle with his mental health from a young age, like his mother, but when he trigged his werewolf gene, it was even more of a struggle for the young Cross.
Still, one thing that brought him some modicum of peace was music. Which he only played when his dad wasn't around. But the moment Jeff realized he could make a penny off his son's slight talent, he didn't hesitate, pushing Elliot to play around Atlanta but essentially taking the money he made or tips given. But the older Elliot got, the more he learned to fall in line, to survive with his brothers. It was easier, but not better. Especially when Jeff still treated him like shit.
Music no longer mattered to Elliot – it was just a way to avoid getting beat like a kid, even when he wasn't one. Fear went deep. But just as he was on the verge of trying to quit his dad's easy pay day, the most beautiful woman he'd seen walked into the bar he was playing at. Long story short, they fucked real good for the three days she was in town. She went back to CA and a few weeks later found out – surprise, she was pregnant. Something something details about why they werent together – probs bc Elliot low key counted himself out and didnt reach out/his home situation was still shit and he went to jail a few times etc. So no place for a kid. And it's not like her fam would've supported it.
With all the shit going on etc, their mother decided it was too much. After their mother's funeral, he and Hunter did what they had to do, all four of them putting an end to their father's reign. After, the pack dissolved, it was just Elliot and Hunter. He still struggled intensely with his life as a wolf, with depression, never able to find balance in his nature and, eventually, it was too much.
In October 2023, he tried to end it all, the darkness in his head too strong for him to overcome. But Hunter, as ever, was by his side in an instant. It was Hunter who got him to Asphodel a month later, leaving behind Atlanta and everything they'd known to get to the big city. What Elliot didn't know was what happened with Isla and the fact she'd moved to NYC to be close to family after the death of her parents, along with his daughter, Camille Alvarez.
Since starting as an attendee at Asphodel in November 2023, Elliot's come a long way. He's still got a long path ahead of him, but for the first time in years, he feels slightly less burdened, even if he still feels guilty Hunter upended his life for him.
But even though Elliot doesn't necessarily believe in bigger purposes, he can't help but feel that there's a reason they came to New York. That despite everything he was supposed to end up here at the same time as Isla and Cece.
They've reconnected over the past months, with tensions running high at first before feelings settled in. He's still worried that he's not good enough – not for Isla or Cece, but he's doing his best to keep his head above water. Not for himself anymore, but for them.

She tells him to get some rest before she kicks his butt and he tells her that he doesn't have to rest but that he'll be okay...so she takes him out to breakfast. Calling him affectionately Brows because of his bushy eyebrows.
A Mistake
When Matt is arrested after his Identity was stolen, Sergio Alvarez though disliking Matt promises the West Wing that he'll help Matt in any way he can.
Bad Choices Suck
After Jackson Pax's death, Matt makes a line of bad choices and having a fling with Toby Ziegler, in his opinion was the wrong thing to do.
Coming Out
Matt never wanted to come out in the way he was forced to, that being outted by news outlets. It led to him being jumped quite a few times but he pulled himself together and took a note from Jackson Pax's book and was a pacifist and spoke his truth...and that's how he kept his job.
Brendon Beck aka Lawyer Man
In an emotional spiral Matt found himself in a gay bar, which probably wasn't the best idea for his mental situation but still we digress. Matt nearly slipped and fell but Brendon Beck a lawyer caught him and it was love at first sight. It's been love and magic ever since.
