So we’ve seen what Infected!Sam did…

His whole song with Charlotte. But imagine how differently things could have gone if infected!Ted had done something like that for Paul. Paul gets to the meteor or whatever and Ted ends up taking on the lead singer role to serenade Paul (evilly). Maybe they were exes, maybe they liked each other from afar, maybe they were dating (this is an au, obviously). Paul being distressed over Ted being dead (hes just finding out). Ted still doing the little hand under the chin thing. Paul wanting to listen to him, but the whole thing is so creepy and the *implications*… Theres a group of them singing in the background creepily and he hates people singing anyways but he feels so bad about Ted and then the spores… Pauls trying to decide if he should run or blow them up but what Teds saying is so enticing. Maybe he ends up singing along with Ted. Maybe he still does the fake out grenade, maybe he is completely infected before he can. All I know is I wanna see evil infected loverboy!Ted serenade Paul

Looking around at the dimly lit bar, Paul shook his head no slowly. "Ted, this is a work party with shitty alcohol." He raised an eyebrow. "You think I'd be here if I wanted to?"

Ted sighed. "A man tries to flirt and look where it gets him," he grumbled, shoving one hand into his pocket and using the other to down his drink completely. Paul stared at him, processing the statement.

"That was flirting?" he asked slowly. A smile crept onto his face. "Flirt away."
