I know I probably shouldn't jinx it, but I might actually finish writing a fanfic for the first time in what I believe is coming up to be 7 years.

Turns out, writing Tadius' internal monologue is incredibly easy and fun for me :)

We'll see if I do actually end up finishing it, but if I do, I'm not surprised it was a Curt Mega character that brought it about.

I did take inspiration from @technically-human's Classic Stone design cuz I just loved the purple jacket too much. He's just so shape 🥺 I couldn't see him in anything else.

I finally watched Cinderella's Castle a few days ago and it has consumed my every waking thought since. I can't stop thinking about it. Whether is be the music or the characters or just specific scenes, it's constantly on my mind. There is not a single thing I can genuinely criticize about this musical, anything I might not necessarily love about it (I'm not a fan of most vulgar humor), I can't even be upset about it because it works so well within the show, and it would probably be worse without it.

I could go on for hours and hours praising just about every aspect of this musical, from the music to the costuming, the staging and the dialogue, the list will go on. And I already have talked about it at length, for several hours, but I can still say more. I genuinely believe that this is the best musical Starkid has made so far. I love Hatchetfield as much as the next guy, and it definitely deserves the love that it gets, but I cannot express enough how much I love Cinderella's Castle. It deserves so much more love and appreciation, cuz it truly is a masterpiece in my eyes.

I'll admit that it took me longer than I would've liked to finally sit down and watch it when the pro-shot came out, I kept putting it off, but now that I've seen it I cannot sing its praises enough. I want to scream because the love I hold for this musical weighs on my chest and I need to get all that emotion out. I feel insane each time I have a new thought about it. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.

I could still say more, but I fear I shall never stop if I don't stop now. So yeah, I need more people to watch Cinderella's Castle :')

Worry, not. I gochu bestie, I was in a similar position a while ago. I knew of the mh fandom and had a vague understanding of things but didn't know most stuff or where to start.

This is going to be long, so I'm putting it under a cut

Due to mh being around for several years, there's quite a lot of content. There's the G1 web series, the G1 movies, the G3 movies (tho most of the fandom understandably does not like G2, which is evident by it dying out so fast), the G3 movies, G3 show, the diaries that came with the dolls, the books, and also comics.

It's really daunting!

But first and foremost, don't worry about it!

You don't need to consume every bit of content to understand and enjoy the fandom, trust me.

If you don't know where to start, think about it you wanna start with G1 or G3 as they are two separate canons. I'm pretty sure the books are also their own canon, and most of the comics I believe branch off of the G1 web series and movies. (I have not read the books or comics so I cannot guide you with those unfortunately, but with some Google searching I'm sure you can find out what order things were released in)

If you want to start with G1 you can start with the web series, or with the movies (which is what I started with), it doesn't matter a whole ton. Most stories in mh are self contained and easy to understand, so you're able to jump around a bit and watch the stuff that interests you.

If you want to start with G3, that's a lot easier as we just have the 2 movies and the show. And honestly, those are two different versions of G3, so if you don't want to watch those 2 movies, then by all means don't. I don't think the movies are quite as bad as many people say they are, but they aren't *amazing* either, so don't worry about it, you won't be missing much. You can watch the show and it starts its story at the beginning so you do need to worry about not watching the movies.

If you are interested in specific characters, the fandom wiki is pretty good at telling you what things they are in, along with having the diaries, which was how I learned about Jackson and Holt.

If you want to know where you can get access to these things. Pirate them. The G1 web series is free on YouTube, but with the movies and G3 show, you will likely have to find pirating websites (I watched many of the movies on movie4khd.com, and the G3 show on kimcartoon.com.co). Same thing goes for the comics, I recommend googling "read comics online free" and check a handful of sites till you find one that has them, as not all sites have what you're looking for obviously. The only thing I don't know about is the books, there might be ways to pirate them, but you might be able to buy them legit, I do not know.

At the very least, I hope that this ramble is able to help at least a bit with understanding what's out there, but really it's up to you with wherever you want to jump in :)

Considering that The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde has a special place in my heart, and my years long fascination of Monster High that has never quite become a full blown hyperfixation for me, it was really only a matter of time before Jackson Jekyll and Holt Hyde latched onto my brain like parasites.

Anyways, I actually wanna talk about how some people seem to believe that Jackson just can't listen to music without turning into Holt. Cuz, uhhh, yeah he can?

I remember seeing a post where someone mentioned that Jackson and Holt have the same music taste cuz of the scene in Ghouls Rule where Chad tries to show Jackson a song on his music player. Anyways, Jackson freaks out and breaks the music player cuz he can't listen to it without turning into Holt, which means he can't listen to his favorite band anymore! How sad!

No, Jackson is just a panicking idiot. All he would have to do is turn down the volume, cuz last I checked, it's LOUD music that makes him transform. He even says "oh no, loud music!" right before he transforms sometimes. Specifically, in his diary he says that it's music with a 4/4 time signature at 90 decibels or more, and I just checked, 90 decibels is loud!! A normal conversation is usually around 60 decibels, so if Jackson just listens to his music at a nice reasonable volume, he'd be perfectly fine. Or if he just listens to something that doesn't have a 4/4 time signature, though most songs tend to be 4/4.

Anyways, our boy is fine, he can listen to his music. Chad just listens to his tunes loud enough to hear fine over a vacuum cleaner, and Jackson is completely inept in stressful situations (which is fair tbh). So I just think we should let the boy listen to his music, cuz he deserves nice things :)

I decided to jump on the goat mobian Agent Stone, so here is my lil design of him. He's a silly lil guy and I like him a lot.

Technically yes, I have drawn goat Stone before when I was making my mod for The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, and I did initially try to use the same colours as I did with that one, but I ended up hating the kinda dark purple fur with the bright purple outfit. It made his fur look desaturated. So I went with browns for this one :)

I have some extra sketches of him under the cut.

He's just a crazy lil guy, and I loved the idea of Eggman being able to just grab him like that, so of course I had to draw it for my own amusement.

Also I have a few sketches of him in his regular G.U.N. suit, with the addition of his black gloves of course :)

These are just some random old doodles of them, but I was looking through my sketchbook and came across a comic/story board I made for an animatic I wanna make about them to the song Starlight Starshine by Steam Powered Giraffe

I wanna make that animatic so bad, but it's a whole freaking song and the comic I did to it was 48 frames, which I'd obviously have to draw more if I wanna make it into the animatic I envision it as :(

I still haven't even talked about their story, I should probably do that. I've got a slightly more solid idea of the plot, but there are still things I need to flesh out. Plot hard, brain mush :/

AHAHAHAH!!!! Several hours of toiling and suffering trying to figure out modding unity with no prior knowledge of the skill has paid off!!!!!

I have changed the main character sprites in The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog to my own art of goat Agent Stone!!!! I'm so happy with him, and now he gets to team up with Tails again!

If anyone would like a tutorial on how I did it, I would be more than happy to share, as I had quite the struggle trying to find any useful information online myself. As for now, here are the two sprites I made :)

Stobotnik week prompt 7: Domestic

The final prompt!! I'm gonna miss this to be honest, this was the first ship week challenge I've ever done and it was really fun. I am busy today so I ended up drawing this in my sketchbook and then coloring it on my phone, skipping the lineart process cuz it takes too long, but I'm still happy with this. I just love these guys so much <3

Now that this week is over, I might get around to posting some of the other drawings of them I did before this started, cuz I have a few more than the ones I added to my post for day 3 :)

Stobotnik week prompt 6: Things

I don't know why I decided to do another digital one when my wrist and neck are still sore from yesterday, but here we are. I ended up making my own little Sonic Adventures 2 Stone to match with Eggman, and I think the plushies turned out super cute and I want them in real life :')
