Meet destiny the giant ice moth

She's a little baby moth with a damaged disability when she was born, twiggy and tacky found her as an egg and took care of her, her antenna and wing are torn after many accidents that was dropped and with her fragile body, she can't fly because of it, and hopefully she'll grow up in her enormous size as her grown form.

One thing from her past is that her parents was kings and queens from the another world they called frozen Iceland where giant ice moths lived and didn't exist from planet earth, and their size of two kaijus and as for kings and queens they're way bigger as it's bigger than the planet earth, until their enemies called the fire moths, they're trying to steal their only child but the ice moths tried to get the baby girl back which it resulted as starting the damage of the egg. Then after the fire moths flew away, they decided to send her to planet earth and maybe someone will take care of their princess daughter and will return soon when she grows up as the new queen of frozen iceland planet.

I'm getting so sick of major female characters in historical media being incredibly feisty, outspoken and public defenders of women's rights with little to no realistic repercussions. Yes it feels like pandering, yes it's unrealistic and takes me out of the story, yes the dialogue almost always rings false - but beyond all that I think it does such a disservice to the women who lived during those periods. I'm not embarrassed of the women in history who didn't use every chance they had to Stick It To The Man. I'm not ashamed of women who were resigned to or enjoyed their lot in life. They weren't letting the side down by not having and representing modern gender ideals. It says a lot about how you view average ordinary women if the idea of one of your main characters behaving like one makes them seem lame and uninteresting to you.

Remember the 6 year old girl who was surrounded by Israeli tanks and the red crescent couldn't reach her? Her name is Hind Hamadeh. Here you can hear the phone call her 15 year old sister, Layan Hamadeh, made with the medics. She was killed exactly a moment later including all people in the car, except for 6 year old Hind who was stuck in the car with the dead bodies of her family, Israeli tanks and IDF surrounding her, shooting, preventing anybody to reach her.

That was last night (29.1.24). Today, still nothing. The fate of Hind remains unknown.

palestine red crescent ambulance team went to rescue her yesterday evening, but they have not returned as of now. We lost contact with them about 18 hours ago, and we still remain unaware of their fate and whether they succeeded in evacuating her or not.

Here’s some inspiration for anyone who wants to write a green utopia or something that symbolize the rot under the surface.

I visited Stige Island today. It’s not really an island because it is connected to the mainland by a small road but the name stuck.

It is an artificially constructed island that was turned into a dump which made it grow bigger and bigger as more trash was piled on top.

Eventually the dump was closed down by covering it in a thick layer of dirt which is why the island is full of hills and bumps. A web of paths were created and the landscape was dotted with playgrounds and picnic tables and today it’s an incredibly popular place for the locals to relax.

Unfortunately most photos online show the island in its early sorta barren state because today it has become a haven for all sorts of plant and animal life skittering around in the dense bushes. It’s a wonderful place to go birdwatching, fishing or pick berries.

But the trash is still down there creating methane gas. What did the city do about that? Harvest it for energy of course! So when you walk around the island you’ll see pipes and what appears to be manholes that are part of this sophisticated system.

You can look at it in two ways. To me it’s a wonderful solution to turn this former dump into a beautiful green area for wildlife and people to use while also using it for energy, but the idea that something fire related could happen and blow the entire thing up and unearth the dirt of the past is pretty tempting.

many things about the chronicles of Narnia made me irrevocably insane at the small age of six years old but one of the big ones was the bit in prince Caspian where caspian blows susan's horn to try and summon help and it summons the pevensie kids like. that's crazy ok. that's insane. imagine at 12 years old you're given a horn thats purpose is basically summoning divine intervention & then years later someone blows it and summons YOU . I'm crazy !

ppl are too quick to point to laios' disability as the reason his friends think he's a freak sometimes. so many instances of laios getting yelled at are, in my eyes, a case of "this guy had to emotionally mature very early in order to be there for his little sister" combined with "much older friends who never had to learn to manage their own emotions to the same degree"

a lot of the time he's right about needing to be more direct/deal with things in a way that may seem scary/needing to put your gut reaction aside. he tries not to make his friends uncomfortable and he puts up with a lot because he's trying to keep the peace, but he also pushes the others out of their comfort zones purposefully to try to get them to think more constructively. everyone else in the party is prone to acting on their gut instincts and avoiding uncomfortable situations even when facing them head-on is very much necessary. part of what makes laios such a great leader is the fact that he knows from experience how to put his own feelings aside to help someone else grow.

yes, he does make a lot of social blunders by accident and he does struggle to connect with others, but not all of his positive influence on others is accidental or "despite" making people uncomfortable. a lot of the time, I think it's clear he knows exactly what he's doing and he's trying to help the people around him process emotions in a healthy way as they all go through some truly harrowing shit. all the main characters support each other as well as they can with their unique emotional skillsets. laios' skillset just happens to be "gently talk child into eating her vegetables"

The experiment dragon's past

It all started with the three brothers, the eldest, Ricky, the middle child, nigel, and the youngest brother, Ezekiel.

They don't have any parents but they only have thier abusive aunt that only wanted the money from the family, yep the Matthews family are pretty rich, thier parents died of murder since ricky and nigel are little kids and Ezekiel was a little baby.

In the present, ricky and nigel are 16 years old and Ezekiel is 13 years old, nigel decided to go on a walk, away from thier aunt, ricky followed nigel and let Ezekiel come with them since they can't leave him alone with his aunt since she abused and hurt Ezekiel the most for being so weak and useless to the family, but then nigel got an idea for a place to hang out away from thier aunt was the lab that thier father made, it was about time to show Ezekiel about thier parents since he never seen them before.

Inside the lab was some gadgets and potions to different animals and weird curses in it, then something caught nigel's eye, it was a red colored liquid and had the label that said dragon's blood, Nigel asked Ezekiel to get the potion to get the closer look.

Ezekiel don't think it's a good idea that thier aunt said he's useless and clumsy so get something what she needs, ricky don't want to let Ezekiel remember all that, nigel know why so he decided to do this all by himself, he climbed on the shelf while holding on while ricky confronts Ezekiel about every day of thier aunt was abusing him.

But that's when thier mean aunt showed up and say what happened, ricky went front of Ezekiel and stood up for him telling her about how bad influence she is to the Matthew kids. Then nigel got an idea he fell down and smash the dragon blood on himself, ricky, and Ezekiel on purpose.

The dragon blood formed into a dragon and it splashed on the kids but not on thier aunt, then ricky felt weird, so did Ezekiel, nigel smirk and felt himself transforming into a dragon, ricky and nigel turned themselves into enormous dragons but as for Ezekiel, he only turned into part dragon and was now taller than any humans.

Nigel stares down at thier aunt and so does ricky, thier aunt tried to run away from them to call the reinforcements but nigel caught thier aunt with his dragon claws and then ate thier aunt up, ricky looks at Ezekiel and picked him up, ricky wanted to know why him and nigel are the only big dragons here but Ezekiel is the small one, nigel then remember, he didn't ate a lot of mean to turn into a giant dragon like him and ricky.

Ricky wanted to make him a strong giant dragon since they're now dragons, nigel and ricky looked at the city and see that the humans are made of meat and theirs a lot of meat everywhere at the city, and also wanted to destroy the city to hunt them too and help out Ezekiel to become a giant dragon like them, but Ezekiel didn't wanted to become a giant dragon and thought it'll be a bad idea for that, but they didn't listen and wanted to turn Ezekiel into a giant dragon like them, but before they go, Ezekiel secretly took the pills with his stretchable tail and ricky and nigel took off flying to thier new home.

And that's how the experiment dragons started.

Future Son????

It has been a while since I have done an original prompt. So DCxDP prompt #2

Danny gets into a fight with Impulse/Bart about Bart changing the timeline messing things up for Danny and effectively erasing his family, because the change made it so Maddie and Jack never got together. But because of Clockwork sending him on a mission to the past while Bart changed the timeline and the medallion Dan had phased into Danny he remembers the old timeline. Also he has access to his powers but for some reason can’t change into ghost form.

This fight happens in front of the rest of the young justice team. And Nightwing was coming there to teach a training lesson and over hears half of what Danny is shouting.

From Dick’s point of view there is a black haired, blue eyed kid with powers that are suspiciously like a Tamuraneans, yelling at Bart about losing his family because his parents never got together. Also Dick and Kori had recently broken up. (Feel free to make up a reason.)

Due to a misunderstanding Dick is going to help his time displaced “son” adjust to the new reality.

Scary Sunset.

I'm concepting things way outta order in this story, but I'm sure you can piece things together. Context is for a storybeat where, after defeating and capturing Adagio (thus having all three sirens in her possession), Sunset enacts her revenge plot to release the sirens on Canterlot as Thea discovers she's been manipulated. In a confrontation, the two scuffle and fight over the siren orbs while Sunset struggles with her conflicting wants and emotions.

Dungeon Meshi Vampires

Laios wants to be a vampire so badddddd he just really wants to drink blood for some reason

Chilchuck is like jake the dog level of afraid of vampires thats why he wears the neckwarmer. He won’t admit it though

Senshi is the go-to vampire and has all sorts of way of preparing blood like food and staying nutritionally balanced. Turns out he thought he was a vampire the whole time but wasn’t???

Marcille isn’t a vampire but has a ? vampire curse of immortality? She is deeply invested in vampire research. she gets turned by the winged lion because she believes she can use necromantic powers of the undead to revive Falin (killed by thistle) but it doesnt really work..? Also wants to turn everyone else to make them immortal too

Falin ends up with pseudo vampire traits from being undead for a little bit. Maybe still a little undead. Hard to say

Thistle is a widdle baby vampire. Will hiss at you like an unsocialized feral kitten. Forcibly turned all of Golden Kingdom.

Mithrun is a defanged vampire. He still needs to drink blood but he can’t bite people anymore.

Kabru is a ruthless and efficient vampire hunter. Has at least 5 wooden stakes on him at all times.
