many things about the chronicles of Narnia made me irrevocably insane at the small age of six years old but one of the big ones was the bit in prince Caspian where caspian blows susan's horn to try and summon help and it summons the pevensie kids like. that's crazy ok. that's insane. imagine at 12 years old you're given a horn thats purpose is basically summoning divine intervention & then years later someone blows it and summons YOU . I'm crazy !

I think coloring is my least favorite part of art. What asshole decided not to close these lines. What asshole decided that scribbling on the lineart layer counted as shading . Did they think about the consequences of their actions? Clearly not

after reading interview with the vampire I cannot express enough how much old man daniel was a stroke of absolute genius for the show like not only does he facilitate the narrative layers by being a much better journalist on both a doylist and watsonian level who can pick through the unreliable narration but he's also a great character in his own right AND. it's fucking hilarious that every so often we cut out of the main story for some guy to go wait, hold on, you BOTH fucked lestat????

seeing edmund in the horse and his boy is so much fun because going off of cs lewis's timeline he's here he's like 24 years old and he's been put in charge of a 12 year old who does NOT want to be put in anyones charge and you first meet him through him scolding what he believes to be said 12 year old for running off and later in the books hes like you're 12 you aren't allowed to fight in battles and its like. what do we think king edmund the just was doing at 12 years old. being king of an entire nation, having already fought in multiple battles. one of four humans in the entire country. no one is allowed to tell him what to do but his older siblings and truly how good is he at listening to them. he has nooo reference for what 12 year old boys Should be doing and now oh no he's lost the child. the child has gone missing in the streets of a foriegn capital

currently imagining the version of Peter pevensie who gets to live out his life in england. I think he's a very insane and fun sort of guy. he has a sword license and he carries that sword around Everywhere. he's in some really niche field of academia & he teaches classes at a university where there's a rumor that if you can beat him in a sword fight he'll give you an A for the whole term. which isn't true but if you ask him he WILL agree to it because there is not a college student in the world who can beat Peter pevensie in a duel. he's the type of guy who will die on any hill and starts climbing on furniture when he gets really into making a point as if standing on this table will make what he says more correct

I do think phoenix wright and miles edgeworth are the type of characters to get married and I don't think they consider changing their names until someone asks them and at the same time they go oh we're not but if we did it'd obviously be MY last name and they fight about it for like a month

it's sad to me that cs lewis decided that after living in Narnia all the pevensies started talking in high fantasy early modern english mostly because it's so much more fun to imagine that what's considered a Narnian accent is just a London/cockney one given where its rulers have historically been from but Also because I feel it deep in my soul that High King Peter the Magnificent starts all of his important council meetings by going Aight chaps whotve we got to do today

it's ok if I read enough fanfic I can imagine that all the later tvc books are about Armand and his friends living in a little house in New York

fundamentally armand is a guy whose first answer to every problem is well what if we murdered them about it. this has been true of him since long before he was a vampire. it's the 15th century upbringing I think. fling getting too intense? got kidnapped? coven out of control? fling got too intense: this time with daughter? ex boyfriend comes back? fledglings existing in your vicinity? first vampire ever wakes up? aliens exist? So, my best friend has been acting a little weird lately. Like, his sleep schedule has gotten really strange (stranger than normal 😅), and I haven't seen him without sunglasses on in a week?

His diet has changed, too, like he used to always be snacking whenever I'd call him, but now he doesn't eat anything that I can see.

He even cancelled our tickets to ComicCon!! I've been waiting to meet up with him for years, and now he's just bailed on me?!? I'm mad, but honestly more worried than anything....
