not to carry on with my "lucy and edmund step into susan and peter's roles during the events of votdt" but in "prince caspian" we saw the pevensie siblings consistently falling into their throne order whenever they were near each other, always standing in that specific order whether on purpose or subconciously. throughout "voyage of the dawn treader", lucy and edmund continue that, only this time, thye fall into susan and peter's positions in the throne order, with lucy almost always standing on edmund's right side just as susan stood on peter's right.
but i think another detail, specifically in this shot from the end of the movie, is caspian standing in lucy's original spot, and eustace standing in edmund's original spot. caspian, who came into narnia as a stranger, and stepped into the role of king with ease, and who loves narnia and the narnians more than anything, and who vows to be a better king for his people. eustace, who was on edge, angry, and doubtful of everything around him for the first half of the movie, whose experiences changed him into a better person with the capability of connecting with his cousins.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) is clearly the weakest of the Disney/Walden trilogy, but the part of it that single-handedly makes me the angriest as an adaptation of the book is at the end where Alberta Scrubb yells, “Jill Pole has come to visit!” because Jill Pole Would Not Do That.
On which note, obviously the part of Prince Caspian that makes me angriest is the massacre they committed against Peter’s character, but the second worst part is when Miraz is crowned King and we hear Telmarines declaring, “Tashbaan pledges its troops!” and “Etinsmoor pledges its troops!” because Tashbaan and Etinsmoor Would Not Do That Either.

“She had been a great lady, wise and gracious and happy, King Caspian's bride whom he had brought home from the eastern end of the world. And men said that the blood of the stars flowed in her veins.” - the silver chair, c.s. Lewis

"The Kings and Queens came to us so young, so brave. We raised them, we taught them, we loved them and they served so well. After they were gone all of Narnia grieved them, and we will miss them till the end of time. "

Fandom: The Chronicles of Narnia Character/theme: Susan Pevensie after The Last Battle Song: ‘Keep Us Connected’ by Celia Rose Gooding
I've included some thoughts and a general plot summary below the cut...
I was absolutely devastated when I first learned of Susan losing her whole family to a train crash in The Last Battle. And that Peter, Edmund and Lucy were still so young at the time. That was far too tragic an ending for all of them and I don’t think I’ll ever be over it :(
Right from the very first moment that I heard this song in the musical episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, it immediately made me think of Susan in this stage of her life and I knew I had to make a video with it. Then I proceeded to take a whole year to actually finish it lol
The general story here is that Susan initially has a tough time dealing with the loss of her family. Over time, this eventually turns to acceptance and with it, she also finds her way back to her memories of Narnia and all that she shared there with her family. She goes on to live a long fulfilling life and when she eventually dies, she is reunited with her family in Aslan’s Country. So, the beach scene at the end of the video is meant to be representative of that reunion in Aslan’s Country :)

Something about watching Narnia as a Christian
About how Lucy is always the first to see Aslan because it takes childlike faith
"Nobody else believed me" "Then why did that stop you from coming?"
About how Caspian is accepted and made king despite being a Telmarine, and how Eustace and Edmund are redeemed because it doesn't matter where you come from or what you've done, his grace is still sufficient.
"No matter how hard I tried I couldn't do it myself"
About how Edmund's betrayal is never spoken of again by anyone but himself, and he is never tempted by her again, even when Peter and Caspian are. His sins have been forgotten. How even though he isn't tempted, she still haunts his thought because sometimes even though we are forgiven we can't forgive ourselves.
About how Lucy struggles with trying to be like Susanne, but he has an individual plan for everyone.
"In your world, I have another name. You must learn to know me by it. That was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there."
Ugly crying because you do know him by his other name.
Just something about Narnia as a Christian
