That was the only word he could think of to describe what he was looking at. So this was the damage Goliaopede did when he got his way? He looked around the islands that once surrounded Ashani's universe or well what shattered ruins remained of them after having this realm's Giratina smashed through them. He looked up seeing several other arceus and their offspring from other universes had also come to investigate as well as take in survivors to bring to their worlds, Abbadon had already helped himself to the Zamazenta and Zacien that survived what happened. He looked over and saw Lord Solace trying to comfort his son, Lazarus, the distraught Giratina inconsolably sobbing against the flank of the other arceus. That's right...he was Lady Galaria's mate...and several feet away her lifeless body floated amongst the debris of what was once her home. As well as the remains of what was possibly one of the Arceus Foals born when Ashani's world collapsed. Poor thing must have formed too close to the mutated beast after the collapse and found itself his final victim before he fled the territory. Or maybe Goliaopede didn't flee but chased after any siblings the poor creature may have had. Abbadon stopped in his tracks as it dawned on him that this was the first universe he'd ever heard of Goliapede attacking that had a completely normal Giratina. Goliaopede had never attacked a shiny before. Then why did he lay this place to ruin? His mind wandered before he recalled that recently Galaria had given birth, where was the calf? He looked around for the little creature, it wasn't with its father, was that why Lazarus was inconsolable? He quickly began to sift through the debris and ruins, maybe the little one was hidden somewhere, stored safely out of the way by its mother. But that was clearly too hopeful a thought as the large Arceus lifted a pillar to gain access to what looked like a cave only to see a horrible sight he couldn't stomach. Having found what was left of the first victim of the monster's most recent tantrum, Abbadon vomited. He never could get the image of the condition of the newborn out of his head. This horrible slaughter all because that innocent little creature...was green.

"Aaand there we go! You're officially a resident of Cornucopia! Congratulations!" The Gardevoir says as she releases the Zoroark's hand. He promptly wipes off the awful smelling ink on the towel he'd been given.

"Now, for a few ground rules. As you know we have a strict policy that states no one is allowed to eat the flesh of another-"

"What." Kaine says rather flatly, frowning up.

"Well of course! Were you not paying attention when I was reading over the manuscript with you-"

"Yes. I was paying attention."

"Well then you know exactly what I'm about to say next-"

"So what of the Usaring that hunt fish Pokémon, or the Fearow that prey on rodent Pokémon? There's no difference-"

"If you'll let me finish explaining, Mr. Kaine, there's something very important you're failing to realize, here." The Gardevoir says, raising her voice a bit. The fox opts to calm down for the time being. He's had his fair share of run-ins with Psychic types. Enough time to know that when they demand respect, it must be given.

"As you know, not all Pokémon are the same. Some of us still have more... primitive minds. You're aware of what Ferals and Domestics are, are you not?"

Kaine huffs as he nods his head.

"Nine times out of ten, when a Pokémon is killed by another Pokémon in the wild, it's a Feral on Feral case, not a Domestic on Feral case. Feral on Feral cases typically involve Pokémon hunting for food because of their natural instincts. But. When we Domestics purposefully kill another Pokémon, be it a Feral or another Domestic, in order to feed, that is murder and that is wrong."

Kaine pins his ears back and balls his left hand into a tight fist.

"So you're saying because I can speak, read, and write, I'm not allowed to hunt? Just what kind of sense dose that make??"

"It makes plenty of sense, Mr. Kaine! You are able to think far more deeply than a Feral. Your actions are carefully calculated, they have meaning and purpose. Ferals are not capable of such thinking. As much as I hate to say it, they, generally speaking, mostly function off of impulses geared towards keeping them alive. They simply don't have the minds for much else than that."

The Zoroark huffs loudly. He's not winning this, nor is he making his past actions seem like accidents. Psh- more like cold blooded murder! If he's going to finally settle down somewhere, he'd rather it'd be here. And if that's the only rule these 'mons ask him to follow, he'd be a fool not to abide by it.

Calama's stomach was in knots as he morphed into his universe from the void, he had mass-shifted into a human to disguise that the "murderous mountain" was on the island. He'd been hearing rumors through the weave, and part of him was dreading whether it was true.

When he reached their usual meet up amongst the cliffside he started to pace back and forth. This was stupid, I knew we had gone too far, I never should have let her get under my skin, please don't let it be like me. He thought to himself as he walked back and forth, realizing she may not have known he was there yet he let off a whistled tune that to most could be mistaken for the sound of a flute and not the noise of a Pokemon. Not long after he gave his signal he heard the leaves of the forest behind him rustle as the familiar face of the woman he'd been sneaking around with stepped out. "Hello dar-" She went to greet him "Is it true?" He interrupted, "You had an egg."

"Yes?" She smiled tilting her head, "Is there something wrong with that?" "Is it...mine?" He pressed. "What's that supposed to mean? What think my hearts ever wandered from you? Obviously, she is yours." She scoffed and folded her arms raising her brow at him. "She? It's hatched?" he seemed worried, no he seemed panicked, "What does she look like?" "She looks like you." She smiled. His heart fell in his stomach, that was not what he wanted to hear. He never wanted to pass on the curse of his duties onto another, and if she was off-colored like him he just sentenced her to death the second she entered the void. "Did you want to see her?" His eyes snapped from the ground towards the other as he watched her reach into the bag on her him and pulled out a protective box with a tiny little creature stored safely within. When his eyes fell on the tiny thing a wave of relief came over him as he looked at the sleeping infant. Thank creation. he thought. She wasn't a Giratina.
