Tag someone that loves their parkrun...🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️ - Fueling yourself before a run or workout can give you a good boost 💥 of energy and delay fatigue kicking in. Try and and allow at least 1.5 hours of digestion before running to prevent intestinal spasms. - Running on empty can increase the risk of injury and fatigue setting in early, which is never fun. - I trialled this out on myself this month running on empty at my local park run and then eating breakfast the following week and it took 45sec of my time when I had a small porridge brekkie 1.5 hours before. New post op PB at Parkrun today! 43:48 at Gungahlin Parkrun. Definitely a tough one today, not ran since early August and last night having the Capital Football Referee Presentation Night. In the first kilometre I stacked it, ankle came out from under me (fully expected the knee to make me fall). Very thankful to everyone that helped me get back up.
