New post op PB at Parkrun today! 43:48 at Gungahlin Parkrun. Definitely a tough one today, not ran since early August and last night having the Capital Football Referee Presentation Night. In the first kilometre I stacked it, ankle came out from under me (fully expected the knee to make me fall). Very thankful to everyone that helped me get back up. Can you guess which one was operated on? 11 weeks Post op! So much muscle definition lost. But highlight is that I don't need to wear the brace anymore. I may be late on this process given timings of the appointments with my surgeon, but you know what doesn't matter, it has meant that I am healing well and currently have no complications, a girl cannot argue with that. 😀 And as a bonus for this Friday is I have been cleared to drive. Volunteered out at Tuggeranong Parkrun, if I can't run, I can help out. 😁 Feels good to be able to cheer on everyone this morning, after a tough week, with lack of sleep, not much progress and just generally feel down and beaten. Made a terrible week good! Thanks team! Note to people....
