News of the Hour! Lord Harrowmont’s cinematic trailer for Dragon Age The Veilguard divides the fanbase! Will Price Bhelen’s gameplay trailer redeem it?
i need everyone to know that morrigan's datv appearance is single-handedly making me debate whether magni and morrigan are actually still together or are divorced.
In Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins, the Warden has the choice choosing Orzammar's next king. If Bhelen (@WallyWingert) is chosen and that save is imported to Dragon Age 2, Renvil Harrowmont will give Hawke an opportunity to make coin and experience.
so between the low dwarven fertility and the noble hunters and offspring inheriting the caste of their same-gender parent, would orzammar's noble caste be becoming increasingly male over time?
i finished my canon worldstate da:o playthrough today and the end made me FEEL THINGS. i hadn't played the dwarf noble origin until now and agh. my warden being accepted back into house aeducan AND being made a paragon. i want to give her a hug she doesn't want any of that
Disclaimer: This option is only available for male Aeducans.

This quest only begins if the Warden is a male dwarf from the Dwarf Noble Origin and had relations with Mardy during the origin story (either alone or with Teli).
You encounter Mardy in the Diamond Quarter when you return to Orzammar. Because of the caste system, the Warden's son takes the caste of the father and because of the Warden's exile, Mardy's son is now considered casteless. It's up to you to restore the child's birthright.
Didn't restore Mardy's son's birthright
The Warden refused to acknowledge Mardy's son as his own.
2. Restored Mardy's son's birthright
The Warden acknowledged Mardy's son as his, changing the boy's caste and, likely, fate.
During Orzammar's main quest talk to either Prince Bhelen or Lord Harrowmont and ask them to accept the child into their House. You can only do this before either one of them is made King (or shortly afterwards), else the child will remain a casteless dwarf.
If he regains his status, you are given the chance to name him. Amongst the names you can choose are 'Endrin', 'Trian', 'Duncan', 'Gorim' or after the Dwarf Noble Warden. If you let Mardy decide, she will name him Endrin. The name 'Trian' will not be an available option if you killed him during A Noble Expedition.
So until this week, I thought there was no way to find any hard evidence about what happened in Orzammar before you got there during the main quest "A Paragon of Her Kind" in Dragon Age: Origins. There are some vague letters and rumors and some poison mysteriously showing up in the Royal Palace, but nothing conclusive about what happened if you didn't play the Dwarven Noble origin.
It turns out that you can betray either Bhelan or Harrowmont after the first task they give you and go convince the other that you're actually on their side. And if you betray Bhelan to work for Harrowmont, you demonstrate your loyalty to the latter by finding documents in Jarvia's hideout proving that Bhelan was behind Trian's murder. (If you flip the other way, Vartag Gavorn has you plant documents near Jarvia's body that supposedly implicate Harrowmont's cousin in lyrium smuggling.)
The best way to get as much information as possible, it turns out, is to work for Bhelan and then double-cross him. (And you can still give him the crown later, if you want, since you can choose either of them after the Deep Roads regardless of who you helped before.)
