Six Grounding Exercises

1. Tree Yourself.

Being ungrounded happens when you are out-of-balance. When energy is blocked, you are unable to access the support of the earth and the higher awareness of your spirit.

A simple grounding exercise involves the visualization of yourself as a tree. First, close your eyes. Next, visualize roots growing out from your feet. “Extend” these roots through the ground and going all the way down. Anchor them at the center of the earth.

2. Meditation.

Meditation helps bring about awareness. You notice the subtle energy changes within your body. You know if you are out-of-sync or if you have become ungrounded.

Practicing body awareness or moving meditations is helpful.

You bring your awareness into the now, rather than the past or the future.

You are aware of your physical existence even while increasing your spirituality.

If you are grounded, you are conscious of yourself and your current surroundings.

You don’t have to spend hours doing meditation. In fact, just half an hour a day is enough to expand your awareness.

3. Get Physical.

Physical activity helps to remove any accumulated toxic energy in your aura. When you shift your energy from an overloaded mental focus to a physical one, you can clear away any mental debris. Getting connected through physical activity does not necessarily mean that you must join a gym. All it means is to allow your mind a chance to take a break.

4. Nature.

Going out by the ocean or just being in nature is a wonderful way to revitalize. Working with soil or clay helps in grounding. Simply touching the earth helps. Gardening is a wonderful grounding activity as it reconnects you with nature.

5. Grounding Foods.

According to Ayurvedic Medicine, there are grounding foods that you can eat, and it suggests Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Ginger, Avocado, Mango, Papaya, Grapes, Olives, Berries, Coconuts, Figs, Melons, Green Beans, Egg Plant, or Yams.

For flavoring your food, use warming spices such as ginger, nutmeg, garlic, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, and cloves. A dash or two of fennel and/or sea salt also works.

6. Grounding Crystals.

Simply hold the crystal in your hands, and visualize any unwanted energies flowing outward, and into the crystal itself. Occasionally, you will need to cleanse the crystal by putting it on the soil of the earth to drain and clear it of any negative charges.

The Commanders

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Today we’re unveiling “The Commanders Comic,” the AU within our AU that will take place after the events of the Steven Universe main series!

Fiona, daughter of Papaya Quartz, Rory, daughter of Grape Agate, Aisha, daughter of Strawberry Quartz and Conan, son of Tangerine Quartz, all band together to defend their town from anything that may pose a threat. Despite Gems and Humans living together in harmony, there are still enemies that loom in the shadows.

The story will follow the children of our Diamonds as they learn to adapt and juggle normal lives with magical abilities passed down from their parents, since Steven laid the foundation of what it means to be half Human/half Gem.

Moon Phases | Rituals

Types of moons: Blood moon. Eclipse. Hunters moon. Blue moon. pink moon.

As the moon grows so should our action towards our intentions. With the growing light of the moon we should slowly start to see our intentions forming habits and those habits improving our lives.

Wipe down mirrors on monday on/after a new moon. Clean the bathroom the Friday on/After a waxing moon Wash down windows the sunday on/after a full moon. Luander the linens on the Saturday on/after a waning moon.

New Moon:

Is a time to create your visions, setting new intentions and goals. It is the time of a new cycle and bringing focus and awareness on positive and loving intentions, raises your frequency and allows you to create what you dream about. Start fresh and positive!

New Moon Ritual:

Full Moon Rituals:

Charge Your Crystals. Stay Hydrated. Smudge yourself. Take a bath. Light a candle and say a prayer. Journal. Write a letter and burn it. Meditate. Give yourself a reading. 

Tips to avoid Full moon energy Overwhelm:

Moon Bathe Get Outside and Soak up the beams and energy of the full moon. Kind of like sunbathing but in the moon!

Journal

Journaling your thoughts and feelings is great for helping to identify what might be holding you back. This will help to release old patterns with the full moon energy.

Use Crystals.

You can use specific crystals to help align your energy with the moon. For example, crystals which align with the energy of Virgo are Smoky Quartz, Unakite, pink calcite and Amazonite.

Meditate

Meditating during the full moon can help ease any anxiety brought on by the lunar energy and assist in making you feel more grounded.

Yoga

The full moon can create an excess of energy in your body and moving with yoga is an effective way to release this energy.

Women's circles

You can attend an official women's circle or just meet with like minded women. It is very reassuring to share your thoughts and feelings with other women and you will likely find that the moon is affecting others in similar ways.

For many pagans, the cycles of the moon are important to magical workings. It’s believed in some traditions that the waxing moon, the full moon, the waning moon and the new moon all have their own special magical properties, and so workings should be planned accordingly. 

 The full moon has long had an aura of mystery and magic about it. It is tied to the ebbs and flows of the tide, as well as every-changing cycle of womens bodies. The Moon is connected to our wisdom and intuition, and many pagans and wiccans choose to celebrate the full moon with a monthly ritual.

Influence:

  Gratitude, friendliness, safe travel, physical health, wealth, protection from the enemies. Curses a location, interfaces with business/work/vocation

Many witches choose to time their spells based on moon phase. Generally, spells for gain or increase or decrease are done during the waxing moon while spells for banishing or decrease are done during the waning moon, the moon shines through the darkness to reveal secrets. Even those we keep from ourselves.

Rainy afternoon. Just right for US Pizza, mentored by the famous Malaysian chef, Chef Wan. Been wearing my obscure Tenor-Dorly on black FKM waffle-tropic most of today. There must have been 1000 Swiss and European watch brands at the height of the 60s before quartz technology changed everything. And I’m not sure why this half-century-old beat-up mechanical watch likes my wrist so much this weekend. Think I may wear my Chinese tang shirt tomorrow, New Year’s eve and put the TD on a different strap.

‘Prince William’ is worried for his safety, having told off his fiends in mindspace. And those fiends, my neighbors, the Liew witchy 6 are hiding among my family and friends. Nobody should do things that don’t pay dividends, much less lose you your fortune (and heaven). Do you give your wallet to a complete stranger? Just because God doesn’t seem to be watching you all do stupid things to one another that are unsustainable to the world.
