Saw this Clockwork Hydra mini by Misty Mountain Gaming at MAGfest and HAD to buy him! Instantly fell in love with him and painted him almost as soon as I got home!

He got the photoshoot treatment.

My custom handmade Malevolent Moon for my Gitz army is completed! To make this cursed object I started out by using a Halloween skull resin mold I found in a hobby shop. I then built up the moon shape first with a wire armature and filled it with air dry clay.

I covered the clay with miliput to get the shape more final and make it more durable (pic 2).

I then used green stuff to sculpt in the details of the face and build up some of the skin areas (pic 3). Then it was a case of painting.

This is one of my first forays into hand sculpting and it was an absolute blast!

Wheelchair Wizard painted up and sealed for a friend who wants to use it in her game. I saw this figure in a pack and just had to paint it! She's been mostly done for too long while I was planning a narrative plinth for her, but Friend asked after her for tabletop so I finished her up with a simple base instead.

I finished my Deathwing Knights!

(minus the actual bases)

Need to make them their bases and then stick them onto said bases. But otherwise? Done.

I tried to wetblend the shadows on the tabard thing. It was a try and good enough for now. I also learned that doing shadows before highlights work better probably.

Now onto the Deathwing Termis! Painted in their eyelenses real quick and I'll still have to do some clean up.

So, I have been juggling which WIP projects to finish up, and none of them have really caught my fancy.

So I was gonna ta the “easy” route and warm up with some Ultramarines just to get me in the mood to paint.

So I brought them all out, and jesus christ just looking at this is overwhelming. Where do I even start? 🤯

Building is so much fun. Painting... I like it, but not with the fervor I buld stuff 😅

Its that time again for another post! Staying with last weeks theme of tongues and grossness, we have the trapdoor mimics! Any sort of mimic mini is a favourite of mine to paint, and one that falls into regular rotation with keeping up with stock numbers. Speaking of, I have put through an order for SO MANY MIMICS!!! I will be sharing those to everyone when they arrive <3 Every mimic that I paint, comes as a set with both their mimic monstrous self, and their unassuming “im just a piece of furniture” mimic Sculpted by Epic Miniatures: a part of their Bandit Camp collection 3D printed from resin by Print3dChaosAU Hand-painted by me

This is the Miniature of the Month for June.

I decided to go for an "Alice in Wonderland"-theme with giant, colourful mushrooms and the Disney-Alice colour scheme on her clothes.

Building and painting the base was so much fun!

Monday already! Time for some more Marvel Crisis Protocol then.

This guy is Venom. Decided to go with purple for the highlights. Originally, I intend to use blue, but being a fan of the colour purple, I figured this was a good excuse to use it on a mini. I think it has worked pretty well.

Painted up my Greebo Games Bampires models over the last two months. Used as my Blood Bowl Vampire team, the Sylvania Skeeters.

I've been taking full advantage of the mini of the month options at my local Warhammer. While my personal projects are still in transit from my recent move to Newzealand.

Painting these has been a joy, and a great opportunity to practice colour mixing and more bare bones techniques than i am used to. i am loving it so far.
