Finished kitbashing and painting up the first squad of Fallen Angels legionaries, as part of a full combat patrol of them. I've used a mix of 30k and 40k kits, with a few Dark Angels parts thrown in to make them look more knightly

I wanted to try something new with sponge weathering to make the armour look battered and dirty, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Here's the first five of the bunch. I wanted the aspiring champion to look like a corrupted version of the 30k praetor, so I used the Chaos Marine body with the segmented plates, and a 30k winged helmet

The second five, including the icon bearer. I used the 40k Inner Circle banner arm, and added the Chaos Marine icon with a Dark Angels drop pod symbol in the center

Hopefully they've turned out ok! The backdrops in the photos are from Jon Hodgson's sci-fi backdrop range

Working on a test scheme for a Horus Heresy traitor Emperor's Children detachment. It's a fun excuse to practice blending purple into magenta, and doing some paint splattering!

I might try to emphasise the pink a bit more on future ones! Plan is to vary up the patterns and pigments on a larger group so that they look suitably chaotic together!
