Kitbashed and speedpainted a Daemon Prince. I'm ridiculously happy with how he turned out. (but he is a nightmare to photograph because of all the details, bright colours and field of depth since he is so pointy 😅)

The body is Daemon Prince. The claw, whip and necklace are from the Keeper of Secrets box. His hair is from the Avatar of Khaine box. The base is me just glueing weird shit together and hoping it fits 😅

I was thinking about space marine husbandry, specifically chaos marine husbandry, and I got to thinking: What are some places on Earth that marines would be "native" to? For example, I think that the Emperor's Children would call Las Vegas home, and likely a whole lot of Nevada as a whole. My favourite Stinky Boys, the Death Guard, would probably be at home in the great Pacific garbage patch. But where would the World Eaters call home? What about the loyalist Astartes? Would the Salamanders have California, solely because Fire Season, or would they take somewhere else? Anyone else wanna weigh in on this?

Had an idea that I wanted to try for Warhammer's resident sneaky legion; The Alpha Legion 😁 seen here emerging from a loyalist disguise in order to cause havoc 🤣

I tried to get the "decloaking" effect to look as close to how I imagine The Warp when reading the books; that purple energy that also somehow looks damp 🤢🤣 really happy with the Alpha Legion colours and the reliable Ultramarine palette makes for a nice juxtaposition in my opinion 😁

Until the room is silent and still as people with glassy eyes shed tears as they remember embracing loved ones, parents faces, comrades in their arms one last time, memories listeners thought they had all but lost.

Noise marine who soon stops playing, and leaves his listeners begging for more, to feel that memory just one more time

Noise marine whose music is a drug, where listeners want to hear it again and again and beg for him to keep playing just a bit longer

Noise marine who enters a battlefield and merely plays a mournful ballad, who stops the enemies and even his allies in their tracks. Whose songs are so powerful his brothers dare not ask him into the battlefield lest they get sucked into his siren song of remembering and loose themselves to it

Noise marine whose music when heard by mere mortals leaves you yearning for more and more until you’re so far lost in the past and your memories you begin to forget what’s now, and you begin to slip further and further until you’re no longer able to think or feel because you’ve lost yourself to a time you can’t quite remember anymore and he’ll look over you as he gently shuts your eyes and wish you a good night.
