Tiny retro skeleton blokes in a big silly chariot 😁 had a lot of fun painting this (including the green stuff kick up from the wheels). Very happy with how it turned out and honestly think it's such a phenomenal design; very Harryhausen meets Ben-Hur 🤣

Treated myself to a Crisis Protocol two pack; Blade & Moon Knight 😁 both fun to paint and some excellent sculpting - plus, the shading on Moon Knight's cape came out a treat 😊

Very happy with these - might treat myself to other characters in future 😁

So, I promised myself that 2025 would be the year I actually learned to play the various Warhammer games (rather than just painting cool minis) and, as a new version of Underworlds is out, I decided to start there.

Introducing The Jaws of Itzl 🥳 Kro-Jax the Aegis (in blue), So-Kar (in red), Ro-Tak the Guardian (in green) and Sotek's Venomites. Very fun to paint 😁 tried to make the scales completely distinct while still making them look broadly uniform. No idea how successful I was but I like them anyway 🤣

Roll on Thursday! Time to learn how to play! 🥳

I don't play the LotR tabletop game but I had to pick up this little beauty when I found it in the wild - I took the time to layer different greys into the fabric and different silvers into the metal and most of it isn't even slightly visible 😅 ah well; I tried 🤣

Completed the Noise Marine mini that I picked up before Christmas using neon paints that glow in the dark (covering maybe 80% of the mini) which leads to this beautiful, aggressively colourful bastard 😁

Very happy with this 😊 got an awesome looking video as well but I might have to post that separately with a strobe warning 🤣 hoping to see an entire band released in the Emperor's Children set coming out later this year 😁

First project of the year complete! My Hernkyn Yaegir Kill Team for my Leagues of Votann army.

For the leader I swapped out his knife with a Power Fist cause it looks cool! I forgot to put a blade handle back in the sword sheath however!

Really happy with how the base came out on this guy!

More specialists. I didn't build all of the weapon variants since I don't play Kill Team. Pretty sure the sapper and dual pistols are not an option in regular 40k.

And here's the rest of the team with Bolt Shotguns. Overall very happy with how this project came out!

I've finally added another legion to my shelves; the Death Guard 🥳 this is the Plague Marine Champion that was part of the set I picked up at Warhammer World 😊

Not only did I try to make this 'orrible bastard as grimy as possible, I also added grit to his sword, faceplate etc. to give it the appearance of the metal warping under the sheer grossness of the marine ����

Plus; tummy mouth! 😬🤣

Starting 2025 with a truly abominable snowman I painted for a winter themed competition at the end of December 😁

It's the big yeti boss from the Frozen Horror HeroQuest expansion 😊 happy with how it turned out; particularly how my use of white paint is improving 😁

Time for my 2024 top 9 🥳

As always, I did it based on my personal favourite minis painted - not number of likes or anything algorithmic like that.

It was difficult this year because I painted 100 minis over the 12 months and I could have easily done a top 20! But we're sticking to the format and keeping it at 9 🤣

This has been a year where a feel my hard work is starting to show and I took on a couple of small commissions AND entered a couple of painting competitions this year 😱 all unimaginable back in January!

In no particular order, my top 9 are the Night Lord Ventrilokar, the Carcharodon Sergeant, Orikan the Diviner, Brakki of the Gilded Key, the Christmas Necron, Itchitt, Imhotek the Stormlord, a Stormcast Liberator and an Alpha Legion marine 😊 all very fun models!

Here's to 2025! More laughs, more good times with pals and, of course, more tiny plastic murder bastards to paint 🤣

To celebrate my brother's birthday, I painted up this Rabble-Rowza as part of his present 😁

Look at this delightfully silly little fucker 🤣 I love the squig skull as part of his armour AND the bat squigs flocking around his head 😁 tried to go as big with the colours as possible and added some poison to his bad moon sickle - really happy with how it looks 😊

I decided to enter my first ever painting competition this Christmas. The rules are: you draw a Warhammer mini from a sack and paint that, Christmas stylez.

I drew Maugan Ra and I'm honestly really happy with how my Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come turned out 😁 the book (made of cardboard, paper and green stuff) didn't end up *exactly* as I hoped but I really pushed myself with this one so I'm taking the W all the same 😊

Competition isn't until the 21st but my mini will sit in the window of my local store until then; let's see how I do 😬🤣
