I've decided I'm gonna write a book on heathenry and grief, and write it as a love letter to my mother to explain my faith and tell her how it's helping me. Am I qualified enough to write a Book On Heathenry? Absolutely not. I've barely been practicing a year and a half, and not consistently. But we talked about my faith, and she had a lot of questions I didn't have answers to. There was a lot I wanted to info dump on her. A lot I wanted to explain.

And while she'll never be able to read it, I think explaining it to her will be great work in healing, when I'm ready. "Bus Ride to Helheim" is my current working title, because my mom was a bus driver the last five years before her passing.

So, while Ares is the god of war regarding battle lust and rage, I asked Hermes to help me figure out which deity I should actually seek help from regarding current bullshit with a Cambodian bank trying to withhold my inheritance after my father's recent passing.

Since I recognise that Ares' approach isn't the most effective right now...

I remember that his sister Athena is one of my "soul parent deities" as per numerology.

So as I'm taking rubbish out I ask Athena to help guide me since Ares' pure war rage isn't going to be helpful.

I turn around and I see an actual fucking Athena sign in my driveway:

Me and my mom had this Religious debate a few minutes ago where she tried to persuading me to go to a Catholic church and in the argument I said to her after she called me a devil worshiper because I didn't tell her about my beliefs again After I converted out of atheism and I told her "I will tell you what my beliefs are When I don't feel scared getting kicked out of the house" and then I walked away and decided to post this

So Juno (dog) ate a snail but managed to leave the shell intact (and completely empty from the looks of it) and I kinda think it's cool looking so i'm currently trying to clean the shell to put it on my chthonic altar
