I fucking love it how the obscure deity w/ a convoluted origin Zagreus had kinda been solidified as the son of hades & persephone in modern media.mainly cuz it let me have this implication that since theres no known weird story of zagreus' childhood or his sisters melinöe & makaria like the sec gen of olympian gods had,it means they pretty much had an uneventful or the most stable upbringing of all the pantheon
