It's been too long since we've seen Kevin work his manipulative magic as he's pretty much burned through the goodwill of everyone on the roster over the years, so it feels good (but stressful!!!) to see it again. He's failed to beat Cody a number of times now; has an historically bad track record when it comes to title matches at the Royal Rumble; has the threat of a Randy return looming over his shoulder AND sees Roman making quick strides to take back all the power he's lost.

So... he needs back-up AND he needs it fast. Kevin's aware that if he fails again, it will take a lot more than backstage attacks and provocative promos to convince Aldis to give him yet another match - Randy will return with a vengeance and Cody will move on (potentially to RAW full-time) and out of his grasp. So where CAN he get the help he desperately needs? Drew is too volatile, too obsessed with his own personal vendettas, while Seth is still stubbornly holding onto his last shred of 'babyfaceness'... meaning, of course, Kevin has to go back to basics - back to what has worked in the past and thus resort to his original and most susceptible target:

More Rings of Power cast pictures in San Diego Comic Con 2024!

The full "Rings of Power" s2 trailer was amazing!!! 😀 So much more revealed in that and I followed along with their SD Comic Con panel and we got some great stuff from there too!!! Little recap but beware of some spoilers. Not sure if I got everything but this is what I saw.

First off being a Haladriel shipper have to give a shoutout to the guy who asked if there will be more scenes between Galadriel and Sauron in s2 since it seems like they're hiding it from us. LOL Thankfully the writers, Charlie, and Morfydd confirmed there are to loud cheers!!! 😀 Also the guy who asked gave a compliment to all the Haladriel fanfic writers too with more cheers.

Charlie also was asked if he'll still be the show's main Sauron and he actually replied there was no way he was going to let them recast him. LOL 😂 But then he turned to the writers and they said he's not going anywhere but did still tease the shapeshifting.

Morfydd said Galadriel learned she can't trust handsome men anymore. LOL

They showed off all the cast's s2 posters.

Benjamin Walker sang part of an elvish song he'll be singing on the show in s2.

Sophia talked more about Disa and Durin's storyline.

Someone dressed as an orc escorted Sam Hazeldine to his chair and bowed to him. LOL

Daniel talked more about The Stranger's meeting Tom Bombadil.

Talked more about the ents and entwives! that were shown in the trailer.

Lloyd talked more about Elendil's relationships with Miriel and his daughter Earien and how both will change during the season.

Someone asked if there will ever be an LGBTQ+ characters and the writers teased there possibly already is.

Then they confirmed Celeborn and Glorfindel will be in the show sometime in the future.
