Definitely disheartening but unfortunately not surprising…this is what happens in the 10pm time slot and it certainly doesn’t help when the network does everything in their power to act like the show doesn’t exist. For those who can, please stream the episode as much as you can the next few days and hopefully we can get that number up and let’s try to improve it over the next few weeks.
#station 19#also doesn’t help that greys is boring as all hell#I would turn the tv off so fast#if they had to give the 8pm time slot away they could’ve at least give s19 the 9pm slot#this is just so frustrating ugh

I want to rewatch grey's anatomy but only an insane person would do that. It's 21 seasons long. I first binged it when it had only 16 and it took me 3 weeks doing nothing but eating sleeping and watching grey's. However.
#favorite show of all times honestly I might not be obsessed but I'll always come back to it#maybe I should rewatch just the first 10 seasons? it's doable and it gets worse after that anyways#like s1-3 are just impeccable. s4-5 are really fucking good too. s6-8 might be the best 3 seasons run of any tv show ever.#s9-10 fall off a bit but still awesome. s11 has a good idea but awful execution. s12-14 normal whatever. s15-18 lowkey mostly unwatchable#then it got good again in s19 🙏 thanks to the new intern class but it's still so much worse than it was#anyways. i love love it I'm gonna rewatch 😁 I need to finish/watch other shows before tho

I’m a fangirl and I absolutely get that the end of your fav show is hurtful but you have to grieve it. You have to move on because life doesn’t end when your fav show ends. There are plenty shows to watch and to fall in love with.
#this is something that this toxic fandom needs because they are so fucking annoying for being dramatic about the end of S19#@ Marina fandom#fangirl#tv shows

I don't remember if I've written it but I love Maggie so FUCKIN much and she's SO autistic coded and I love that so much 😭💜😭💜😭
#AND ZOLA#ZOLAAAA#I remember when she was just a baby and now she's like thirteen and she's so smart 🥹#The conversation in s19 e3 about her “giftedness” was interesting#I realise that the whole. Diagnosis? And label of “gifted” is a very US centric thing#Because I've never heard of it being used in actual formal medical contexts in any other country#And so their conversation abt her “giftedness” is really weird to me#It's like a weird euphemism for autism and autistic traits#Like. Maggie (my sweetheart. My Blorbo.) very often talks abt being a perfectionist and a stickler for rules#She loves rules and systems and routines!!! And she gets upset when those are changed!!!#And she's so clever and also doesn't have the strongest social skills#(that last part is relative considering its a TV show and her character is charismatic)#And then when she talks to Amelia about seeing her own young self in Zola#I'm like “oh. Yeah. Yeah Zola is autistic just like her auntie Maggie.”#To be fair Zola could also be ADHD and Maggie could be AuDHD I mean I'm just speculating lmak#As an adhder I can only speak from my own understanding of my own mind#And I'm pretty sure I'm not AuDHD though I'm open to changing my mind should the information be there#Anyway I love Grey's Anatomy and I love how much it's developed over the years#Season 19 is being so good to me#Grey's Anatomy

the sheer difference in how 9-1-1 vs station 19 handled the BLM protests is ASTOUNDING
#was watching station 19 s4 and omfg#kept looking at the screen like#are they fr? they saying these things on tv?#when all i had to compare to was 911 dismissing it like “oh all that CRAZINESS that happend over the summer anyways”#as always im just saying this in comparison im not trying to rate how s19 handled it overall

Gunsmoke (TV Series) S19.EP10 'Lynch Town' (1973) - Scott Brady
Saw the tale end of this episode the other day and saw this guy. I've seen him before, but only now his hotness slaps me across the face.
There's just something about those old Hollywood actors.
On A Side Note: A lot of guys who appeared in this episode could have gotten a courtesy tap. From David Wayne, James Arness, to Norman Alden and more.

The show seems to be almost fetishizing sex b/w gay men while having an aversion to a stable relationship b/w them. Ironically, they have an aversion to sex and intimacy b/w 2 women in a stable relationship. Queers can't seem to have both.
Representation matters. Maybe a dad comes to accept his gay son. Or a lesbian finds a way to come out to her mum. But it would also be nice for representation on network tv to go beyond queers just existing.
Positive representation doesn't mean the queers make no mistakes or not go thru life's messiness like other humans. The framing of the narrative is important too. Use the tropes, but also subvert the tropes.
What is the entire purpose of this Pride episode? Highlighting the negative queer stereotypes - hearing Beckett's views and proving him right is most definitely important, isn't it? Straight allyship? To state the obvious that queer-phobia is a fact of life? To showcase yet another awful man in a position of power? What about celebration the positive of queers? What exactly are they celebrating at the station? Definitely not the happiness of the main, longstanding queer couple. That, they want it to show in isolation, quickly, including very far-away shots. Like an afterthought.
It is both a bug and a feature of S19 to focus on the negative. Granted, it is a tv show, n conflicts are nec for plot dev. But it is also a fundamental guiding principle of the show to give more screentime and emphasize - even relish - the struggle, never the triumph. On big systemic issues they can do nothing about. On women struggling against toxic men. On people struggling to be happy - and when they are happy, queer women's joys are excluded and/or minimized exclusively.
There is no timeline for grief or coming into one's queer identity. I empathize with Travis's struggles. But this is one of the many stories about queerness. What about those of queer women? That has been the case for seasons now. Not even the mere mention of the struggles about where Carina came from? Of the trepidation surrounding Marina's marriage rights in this political climate? Of their feelings about having a baby together - thru ivf or adoption?
I am sick and tired of people telling us it's only in our narrow, biased perception and our deluded imagination that there is a disparity in the treatment of w|w n m|m. That other stories are not told at the expense of Marina's. We did not say we want theirs to be the only story, queer or not, only that it be given comparable screentime, importance and care. Even after taking into account the call sheet, it does not make sense.
Just like showing Marina's queerness exclusively would be wrong, the same goes for excluding it. Almost every aspect of it. How do you justify every decision to keep shortening and overlapping the scenes depicting the momentous changes in Marina's lives with others?
Those are very conscious and deliberate choices made. Even with a shortened season, even after including everything they wanted, they could have tightened up the longer scenes to properly give Marina's scenes a more reasonable length. Have them voice their feelings about Pride, about everything happening in their lives. Even just a few lines. But they didn't. And they wouldn't.
But what we have of Marina, is what D & S built over the years, I love and cherish it, and I will hold onto it. No matter what happens.
#they'll rather give the screentime to the awful man that bullied n insulted the queer women on the pride episode#but they forgot maya n carina were queer anyway#guest actors have a lot more screentime n dialogues in their respective episodes#credits for whatever that was right n good about marina#but also disappointment about what they don't think is wrong#station 19#station 19 comments

🚨 S19 S7 Ratings 🚨
Like Danielle mentioned in her podcast interview with Tommy that was released today, ratings for Season 7 of Station 19 are going to be crucial on whether or not the show will get picked up by another network (or ABC changes their mind but I think this is unlikely regardless of how well Station 19 does in the 10pm slot because they put it there for a reason.) I really don't think we will get any type of answer regarding a possible pickup until Season 7 airs at this point.
If you're in the US it's crucial that you watch live on cable every week at 10 pm and DVR the episode so that you can watch it multiple times throughout the week. The 24-72 hour period is most important when doing this. Spread the word, have it on multiple tvs, ask anyone you know to put on ABC at 10 pm every Thursday. Every little bit helps.
If you're not in the US, a member of the fandom has figured out a way for you to contribute to the ratings if you choose to do so. Before anyone says anything, it does cost money. This is just a suggestion and if you're willing and able to. I'm not telling anyone how to spend their money but I know a lot of international fans have been wondering if there was a way to help impact the ratings so I wanted to pass that message along and spread the word.
Safe VPNs can be found in this thread here. Watching on Hulu live/ABC live is the key here so that you are part of the ABC ratings. If you are someone who stays up and tries to find a link to watch live anyway, this is worth looking into if you're wiling and able and want to be contributing to the rating numbers.
If your country has Hulu/Disney+ in general, streaming numbers are also important so if you aren't watching live and the episode is available the day after, make sure you're watching the episode as many times as you can throughout the week. These are the streaming numbers that Station 19 lacks, especially internationally because of the lack of accessibility.
Basically, as many legal ways as you can find to watch the show, do it. We need to try and make sure that there isn't a huge dip in the ratings due to the time slot change that ABC disrespectfully put on the show. If we can keep the ratings close to the same as what they were at the 8 pm slot and continue to make noise, that will be huge and like Danielle said, hard for people to ignore. Let's do it!

On one hand Grey's has run its course and I'm still mad S19 didn't get the longer run it deserved but also someone has got to prove we still want long running tv shows with 20 episode seasons so rock and a hard place here

As usual, now that the season is over/as all good traditions hardly come to an end, here's my thoughts/post (call it however you want) about this season
1. Maya DeLuca Bishop
Oh Maya my sweet Maya I absolutely loved the character growth she went through this season, as much as it pained me to see all the negative things said about her and the zero empathy at times to what she was going through. Her demotion was not fair and will always not be fair and i get the need to make other characters look great but it was to the point of being annoying. Her apology to Ross felt wrong (i get that she needed to apologise for the blackmail) but chief Ross clearly hates her even Maya knows this and she drove her to her breaking point with Beckett treating her bad, that’s some very twisted way for revenge, and the way absolutely no one even apologised for the way they treated Maya for months or even someone tried to stop it but instead we got people making fun of her and not welcome her back the proper way!
One thing is for sure and will always be Maya will always choose her wife and will always have heart eyes for her.
2. Carina DeLuca Bishop
The sad reality that we all should accept by now that Carina in this show will be Maya’s wife and nothing more yeah she will have her moments with Vic, Ben and the rest but it will always be For Maya’s storyline, I guess this what makes it hard for fans with certain lines being said you feel the need to pick a side when both sides feelings and emotions are valid but when only one side shown on TV it becomes a war between fans that only love/respect/understand (call it whatever you want) one half of the ship.
Glad Carina now knows she is Maya’s number one priority 🥹 and yes she will also always have heart eyes for her wife.
3. Marina my beloved
I am no fan of angst and will never be specially knowing the shows won’t give as much as i want, yes we had good moments between the bathroom scene, shower scene and all in between the sweet and not so sweet moments it was still missing lots of things, my favourite TV wives don’t get as much as they deserve and i am learning to accept that (not really). At this point i am just glad they are back together because I really didn’t see us getting them back maybe that was just the effect of the drama/angst.
4. The rest
Vic needs to leave Theo, the mayor storyline wasted so much time and no one really asked for it or even enjoyed it, couldn’t care less about this captain storyline that’s been going on since the show started, one character is gonna take it and we all know it will always end like that so why drag it out so much when none of us care! (Captain Maya Bishop forever tho), don’t even get me started on Ross double standards.
I know fans want more action and calls to be added like other wee woo shows but I honestly don’t want it, i like the “family” vibe that is going on here because more action less focus on the personal stories that are imo more important than a good call.
5. Episode 18
That was way better than expected tbh. Hot,sexy and the most beautiful wives there is, find it hard to believe that Carina doesn’t have a dress, but they looked amazing so not complaining, them talking about plans for the baby is what i needed to hear, that baby they delivered might be adopted or maybe not I still want Carina to get pregnant because that’s what she wants so s19 please at least give her that!. Captain Andy about damn time now we can move on 🤞🏻, Glad to not be part of any cliffhangers my heart can’t handle it at all.
6. D&S
I am forever in awe for their talent and love to this ship without them so many little moments would go unnoticed because let’s be honest here they don’t give them as much as they deserve storyline wise for whatever reason there is. We as fans notice and want things to the point of being delusional (we all been there) and we give the show more credit than they give to the TV wives (no disrespect to anyone) so yeah it hurts when fandom theories are really good and make sense but you don’t see it on screen.
Thanks Danielle and Stefania for being the captains of the ship and adding your little touches here and there you will always shine even in the background.
Until next season ❤️
#station 19#station 19 spoilers#spoilers#marina#danielle savre#stefania spampinato#maya bishop#carina deluca#i am a fan if this show but i am mostly a fan of Marina#so they good i am good#the rest I don’t mind but don’t care about#no one believed me when i said we are getting a bed scene in the finale!#A
