I maybe have some storylines that are brewing in my brain for overlord Husk (👀 it mayhaps would include an overlord angel???! Or some other fun Huskerdust stuff )

If I had a nickel for every time Keith David voiced a top hat wearing old-school smooth jazz gentleman who sings a catchy earworm of a song (that stands out from a line of other bangers from the same animated musical production) about him dealing with the devil, cards, souls, and people's flaws while boosting their morale up somehow as he plays his own power down to earn someone's trust and consent and later got screwed over by something green that turned their deals against them, *breathes in* I'll have two nickels...

Which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice.

His human version in my artstyle was based on Vivzie's own human Husk doodle design from the time of the pilot. Hope ya'll liked this one much better. That practice made such a difference, no? 😘 -Bubbly💙

This one's probably the weirdest! Overlord was a famous adversary of Megatron's, who the latter disgraced in combat by sparing. Held a grudge ever since!

Thrust:

Nobody too important. Just a garden variety conehead!

The true and rightful ruler of the Decepticons, according to some people.

Arcee:

This design isn't canon, but I like the idea. I might tweak it a bit and bring it back!

He doesn't need an introduction. He might be due for an update soon, though--his design is a little outdated

Husk redesign... they met when alastor was terrorizing some bar and got impressed when husk wasn't scared of him (he was. just had a very good poker face). anyways he immediately imprinted on him, and either worked alongside or under him for a time

Hell’s honchos

Lucifer

I kept him short obviously. I imagine in heaven he was just a sheep, but in hell he transformed into the goat. Animal head imagery is prevalent in both demons and angels. I based his outfit on ring-masters and of course apples! I wanted him to look a tad older while still keeping his charm about him. Charlie inherited a lot of his looks, with smaller horns and his blonde hair. She also inherited his magic.

Lilith

Since Lilith is technically a sinner and not a fallen angel, I wanted to make her more beastly. I based her on some sacred animals that represent death across mythologies, bats, crows, goats, and serpents. I like Lilith being the snake and Lucifer being the apple. I wanted to give her a mother of monsters feel, since she’s well renowned in Hell. It felt weird having both of Charlie’s parents be blonde so shifted her to the lavenders and pinks from her original design. Charlie inherited her tail and 3 eyes, as well as claws and spines in her demonic form.

Rosie

Since there isn’t a lot of established lore on Rosie I kind of went off on my own with her. I based her on scarecrows! I still kept her hello dolly flare but with a bit of a rustic edge, I wanted to keep her smiley demeanor but with a hint of something sinister. After all she is a cannibal.

Carmilla Carmine

I couldn’t find anything on Carmilla’s time of living/death, who knows she might be hellborn like her daughters! But I decided to have some fun with headcanons. In my headcannon carmila died during the Mexican war, fighting as an Adelita on the front lines in the 1800s. She knows personally how war tore families apart and vows to not let that happen to her family. I based a lot of her features on birds of prey, substituting her knife slippers for talons dipped in melted angelic steel. Her hairstyle is a protective hairstyle that was utilized by the Adelitas during the war.

Velvette redesign idea

Gotta go over it a few more times me thinks.

Since she’s the only V without a death era, I have her one. She’s totally an early 2000s girlie to me, so I went pretty scene queen for her. I also added in the gold I use for sinners, as a homage to her being money hungry, add more visual similarities between her and the other vees, and for some queen bee imagery.

As for what she’s supposed to be, I was kinda going for a fashion doll with electronic eyes. Hence all the different hairstyles and outfits, thought it would be neat.

(Have a Huskerdust animatic with overlord husk au ! Wooooo!!!11! I have come up with so much lore and story for this au during my creation of this animatic it’s insane, PLEASE ASK ME ABOUT IT !) I’m insane about them.

But now I have some notes about my feelings and progress of this animatic it’s a bit long but i would be great full if y’all read it.

Ok so my 1st fully fledged animatic has been very grueling but l've learnt so much with it

don't animate on procreate it's hell, and I need to find a better program to animate on (cause I wanna try and make more animatics in the future. Please suggest some apps to me )

I don't have to be as meticulous or nit picky about everything since it kinda makes my art look stiff and not dynamic like my sketches

Animatics CAN LOOK ROUGH (being rough doesn't make it bad, sometimes it makes it more fluid)

I really want to experiment with more dynamic camera shots and movement.

That being said I didn't want to switch up the style at the end of the animatic so I stuck with the stiff style, and this being my first actual long form animatic (not counting a couple of the more tiktok-esque Steddie ones | made) I'm still kinda proud??q!! Even though it's not how l imagined it to look like

TLDR: this is my first actual animatic, I have no animation background and don't know what I'm doing.

Nevertheless I'm so proud of what I made, but still wanna make more less refined animatics in the future, and I want to allow myself to play around with more movement

The Overlords in my rewrite

For the first lore dump of my AU is the Overlords!!! :D

So I will be going through a few details in this AU, Discussing a short overview of what the Overlords are, how many are there (as of season 1/ maybe season 2), what are some up and upcoming overlords, what areas they control and what are their respected… well overlord titles.

What Are Overlords?

Simply put, in hell the Overlords are Powerful sinner demons in hell/Pride ring, who have managed to control or grow their Powers/abilities and can make contracts to sinners when their power has been at their absolute peak. They also run districts/territories in Pentagram City That they claim by going into brawls and turf battles after every extermination to get more open land for themselves and to spread their businesses.

How many are there?

There used to be over 500 overlords over the past centuries but most of them have either:

A: died due to being stuck outside for extermination day and killed by an exorcist.

B: Killed with Angelic Weapon Slivers by either Sinners/Hellborn/Others.

C: Or had their Souls being drained(A trait that only Alastor can do)

How can you tell when someone is a overlord?

One simple detail to tell if someone is an overlord is with their sclera, Red sclera is one hell of a tale-tell sign that someone is an overlord some examples of some overlords with the sclera:

However, there are a couple of overlords with some exceptions to these rules (Zelestial, who is the main head of hell archival history, overwatches the current overlords and has to report to Lucifer around 4-12 times a year about their duties to make sure they're staying in line and oversees their districts. And Rosie a Cannibal overlord who owns a small county like town in Pentagram City called Cannibal District)

How many are there in total(As of the story's current set)?

Simply put there's a total current of 13 overlords(with only two half overlords those being Carmilla's adopted daughters) While mentioned earlier there were hundreds in the past but as of now most sinners in hell(or well those who have their souls not in a contract) aren’t patient enough to develop their powers to try and become overlords and there are those who are too afraid to defeat an overlord to even try.

As of now here a small list of the current amount of overlords:

Zelestial: The overlord who is also a right-hand sinner demon of Lucifer

Carmilla Carmine: The overlord of Ironworks, she created and distributes iron all over Pride and the other rings, she also hosts a bi-yearly underground weapons auction event that tends to sell weapons that cannot just kill sinners but also higher-ranked demons, although Zelestial tends to keep those meetings out of his reports…

VeeCorp: VeeCorp is a conglomerate of three overlords who have Vs in their names and they tend to run the media of Pride

Vox: He is the overlord of television, he runs at least 80% of all television channels and sells his tech products also used to have some sort of beef with another overlord in the past by the name of Alastor.

Valentino: He well, the overlord of pornography in the pride district, runs all types of pornography films and runs a few successful brothels in Pentagon City; as of right now he is very furious over the actions of a certain star in his contracts, one who goes by the name of Angel dust.

Lastly Velvette: Is the Social Media overlord, She is what Vox and Val consider the backbone of the trio itself; she posts pictures on social media, participates in trends, and participates in interviews hosted by Voxnews, and she is even working on her cosmetic brand, while people may think shes the weakest due to her powers not being all that stronger compared to her two male companions… it's her brain that is her true power.

Lastly as of now there Alastor: The radio demon, is considered to be one of the most deadly overlords due to going on a draining spree 8 decades ago draining and surpassing many overlords and becoming more powerful(he is only 4th strongest He’s behind in order Zelestial, Carmilla Carmine, and Vox) he also continues to host a radio show where he use to broadcast screams of all kinds of victims of his in the past. Lately, he's been MIA in the past 7 years with people thinking he had been either killed by Vox, or an extermination angel but now he's back and working for Lucifers wacky princess daughter

Wannabe Overlords:

Wannabe overlords are a simple definition they are sinner who are slowly growing their powers but are not yet overlords; and example of one of these is a spunky died around the 80’s explosive maianc who goes by the name Cherri Bomb, wannabe overlods tend to have a mix of their normal sclera(which is either yellow, green or lilac) being faded away with the red coming in. (example shown with cherri bomb) As for the current number their are many wannabes but an estimate as of now is around 50-100

What would happen if someone were to overpower/kill an Overlord?

If you were successful in Killing an Overlord; then you simply get the Overlord's area and of course all the resources they have(like Money for example). Soul contracts wouldn't be one of them; If an overlord were to die their soul contracts would be set free.

What areas do some of these overlords run:

Nearly every single overlord tends to run a certain area of pentagram,(The map here will show only a few select areas where overlords live and where their work is located ((map will be updated in the future)))

Hey so y’all know this unnamed overlord?

Yeah well me and my good good friend @braveboiart just headcanoned and developed the shit out of him. Basically a shared OC now, but will prolly have a few differences between our own depictions.

Here’s my silly design for the guy

Basic lore we came up with:

His real name is Lonnie, but he goes by Martinez

He runs the booze industry in the Pride Ring

He was a bootlegger during the Prohibition era

He died in his mid 50s somewhere around 1929

He died from either head trauma or being burnt alive (with my depiction, I’m leaning towards head trauma), caused by a tussle with another alcohol distributor

He’s buddies with Alastor and Rosie. Early 1900s solidarity /hj

May or may not have dated Husk in the past. Who knows. They were at least buddies
