Why Mushroom Supplement Powder is Popular Among Health Enthusiasts?
In recent years, health enthusiasts have been gravitating towards natural supplements, and one standout in this category is mushroom supplement powder. This trend is more than just a passing phase; it is rooted in the substantial health benefits that these fungi offer. Here’s a detailed look at why mushroom supplement powder has become a staple for those committed to maintaining and enhancing their well-being.
A Historical Perspective
Mushrooms have been used for centuries in various cultures for their medicinal properties. Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and even ancient Egyptian practices have documented the use of mushrooms for their healing benefits. Modern science has started to validate many of these traditional uses, shedding light on the potent bioactive compounds found in mushrooms.
Rich Nutrient Profile
Mushroom supplement powders offer a natural, holistic approach to enhancing health, making them a valuable addition to any wellness routine. It is derived from various species, each boasting a unique nutrient profile. Brainezy used mushrooms include:
Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) stands out for its cognitive benefits. Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, it supports memory and focus, potentially aiding nerve regeneration and bolstering the immune system. It may also help manage anxiety and depression.
Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) is renowned for its immune-boosting polysaccharides, enhancing the body’s defense mechanisms. Research suggests it supports cancer treatment, improves gut health, and reduces inflammation.
Shiitake (Lentinula edodes), a staple in traditional medicine, is rich in lentinan, which bolsters the immune system and combats infections. These mushrooms also contain vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that may lower cholesterol, support heart health, and exhibit anti-cancer properties.
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), known as the “mushroom of immortality,” has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. It boosts the immune system, reduces inflammation, and supports overall well-being. Its adaptogenic properties help manage stress, improve sleep, and enhance longevity.
Cordyceps enhances endurance and energy levels by improving oxygen utilization, making it popular among athletes. It supports respiratory health, reduces inflammation, and strengthens the immune system, contributing to overall vitality.
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus), a powerhouse of antioxidants, supports immune function, reduces oxidative stress, and improves skin health. It’s being researched for potential anti-cancer and anti-aging benefits.
Maitake (Grifola frondosa), also known as “Hen of the Woods,” supports immune function with its beta-glucans. It may help regulate blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity, offering potential benefits for those with diabetes or metabolic issues.
Tremella (Tremella fuciformis Berk), the “beauty mushroom,” is rich in natural hyaluronic acid, which maintains skin moisture and elasticity, promoting a healthy complexion.
King Trumpet (Pleurotus eryngii), offers culinary delight and health advantages. It’s a great source of ergothioneine, an antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress, and is rich in vitamins, minerals, and protein, supporting immune health and overall well-being.
Immune System Support
One of the primary reasons health enthusiasts are turning to mushroom powder is its ability to boost the immune system. The beta-glucans found in mushrooms activate various immune cells, enhancing the body’s ability to fight off infections and diseases. Regular consumption of mushroom powder can lead to a more resilient immune response, which is particularly beneficial during cold and flu season.
Cognitive Enhancement
In an age where cognitive performance is highly valued, mushrooms like Lion’s Mane have gained popularity for their neuroprotective properties. Studies suggest that compounds in Lion’s Mane promote the production of nerve growth factor (NGF), which supports the maintenance and regeneration of neurons. This can lead to improved memory, focus, and overall brain health, making it a favorite among students, professionals, and older adults.
Stress Reduction and Adaptogenic Properties
Reishi and Cordyceps are renowned for their adaptogenic properties, which help the body adapt to stress and restore balance. These mushrooms can modulate the body’s stress response, reduce anxiety, and promote a sense of calm. In today’s fast-paced world, the ability to manage stress effectively is crucial, and mushroom supplements offer a natural solution.
Antioxidant Powerhouse
Mushrooms like Chaga are incredibly rich in antioxidants, which play a critical role in protecting the body from oxidative stress and free radical damage. Antioxidants help to reduce inflammation, slow down the aging process, and lower the risk of chronic diseases. Incorporating mushroom powder into a daily routine can thus contribute to long-term health and vitality.
Enhanced Energy and Endurance
For those leading active lifestyles, Cordyceps has become a go-to supplement. Known for increasing ATP production (the energy currency of the cell), Cordyceps can boost physical performance, enhance stamina, and speed up recovery. Athletes and fitness enthusiasts often add Cordyceps powder to their pre-workout routines to gain a natural edge.
Versatile and Easy to Incorporate
One of the practical reasons for the popularity of mushroom supplement powder is its versatility. It can be easily added to smoothies, coffee, tea, soups, and even baked goods. This ease of incorporation makes it simple for individuals to enhance their diet without making significant changes to their daily routines.
Conclusion
The popularity of mushroom supplement powder among health enthusiasts is well-founded, given its myriad of health benefits. From boosting the immune system and enhancing cognitive function to providing stress relief and improving physical performance, mushrooms offer a natural, holistic approach to health. As research continues to unveil more about these incredible fungi, it’s likely that their popularity will only continue to grow. For those looking to enhance their well-being naturally, mushroom supplement powder is a powerful and versatile addition to their health regimen.

20. “Something’s clearly wrong.” From the first list I think?? I’m a little lost on the list organization but I’m new here lol. I was thinking Dimentio sickfic?? Like it’s so painfully obvious to everyone around him but the he is bad at emotions so he’s not gonna say anything- (let me know if you want/need more specifics, I will provide! I’ll sign off as ☁️ so I can add more details if needed)
20. "Something's clearly wrong."
(the first prompt list is here)
After their ordeal with Mergath the witch, O’Chunks had to appreciate the breaks as they came- in this instance, spending a week just parked at one of those fancy healing inns while the team recovered from the worst of their injuries. The Count seemed content to sleep, interrupted only occasionally by nightmares, which left the rest of the team to their own (quiet) devices around the room. Nastasia often sat by his bedside, not too close but not far, reading whatever magazine she could scavenge from the inn lobby. Fours seemed unable to decide if he wanted to stay locked in the room or run out the door and never return, and O’Chunks, grateful for the excuse to stretch his legs, took the little lad on frequent walks up and down the empty hallway. Each time they left the room, Fours seemed a little bolder, dragging himself closer to the lobby, and it wasn’t three days before the two of them ventured into the lobby for a few minutes at a time.
Dimentio, though, had taken by far the worst physical beating. But even as his injuries healed more after every rest, his health continued to noticeably decline, until he was as bedridden as the Count.
“I just don’t get it,” Nastasia said from her chair, and Dimentio fixed her with a feverish scowl, struggling until he sat propped upright against the headboard in his nest of pillows.
“There is nothing to get,” he snapped, as quietly as he could, turning his head minutely toward the limp Count on the other bed, whose ears flicked at the noise. “It is a cold. It is a perfectly normal occurrence.”
Fours, sprawled over the Count’s blanket, sneezed.
Nastasia responded with a frown of her own. “But we’ve been resting? You’re supposed to be at full health after a night or two…”
“Yes, well, perhaps it would be a lot worse if we were not camped in this stifling room, like, like a swarm of hibernating… bees.”
O’Chunks raised a brow, but only crossed his arms and watched, leaned against the wall by the door. That was a weak one.
Nastasia huffed, and turned to O’Chunks. “I think we should request a refund if you’re just getting worse, ‘k?”
O’Chunks only stroked at his beard. The supplements. The medications. The… the stress…
Could Dimentio get stressed? O’Chunks supposed he didn’t see why not, weird as it was to acknowledge it.
Dimentio stared at Nastasia. His mask slowly slid to his usual pointed smile. “That will not be necessary.”
“Do we, um, need to go back to the hospital? Would a Super Mushroom fix it?”
Dimentio languished in the bed, hand over his forehead. “If I have to consume even one more mushroom this week I might just explode. I will be fine.” He turned his head again to the Count, but just as quickly returned his attention to Nastasia.
“Maybe they can give us medicine though…?”
“I have medicine. I will hear no more of this!” he declared, sliding out of the bed and wobbling on his feet. He shuffled past O’Chunks to the door, clearly stewing between the fever and having the other three teammates’ eyes on him. But he made it, and limped out, and slammed the door behind him.
Nastasia sighed, and it grew into an annoyed snarl, baring her teeth and tossing the magazine onto the nightstand next to herself. She crossed her arms. “Stubborn… what’s the point?”
O’Chunks watched the door for a moment, then shrugged. He doubted his ears would have picked up Dimentio’s footsteps or his eye would have caught the shadow passing under the door, even if he wasn’t certain Dimentio lingered outside. “If ‘e thinks it’s nae our business, there in’t much that’ll change tha’,” he replied casually.
“But something’s clearly wrong.”
Stress. “Methinks what ‘e needs most now is space, Nassy. ‘E can take care o’himself. Yeh’re jus’ gonna get in ‘is way.”
Her brows drew together, and she looked to the Count. “We don’t have space.”
“We don’t,” O’Chunks agreed.
Nastasia put a hand on the blanket and squeezed it gently, but the Count didn’t stir. From his perch on the Count’s chest, Fours watched her fingers flex and relax. “... Should we… do what we did for him?” Her voice had dropped to a whisper, and O’Chunks strained to pick up her voice.
“We can try. It’ll be up teh Dimentio whether or not ‘e takes any of it. But if ‘e really needs anything,” O’Chunks raised his voice to a more normal volume, “I’m sure he’ll ask fer it.”

hello prof ;) i have a question concerning Breloom (as you know half my brain is occupied by all things plant-related). I was wondering where it gets its energy, I've always assumed that most plant pokemon got their energy through photosynthesis but Breloom is a fungus and fungi do not perform photosynthesis. Does it get it from poke-treats like non-plant pokemon, or does it possess chloroplasts which would account for its green color? have a nice day
excellent question!! this is a fun one, i like the subject a lot, and breloom is one of my favorites.
like many grass types, breloom is actually made up of more than one sort of organism! much like how lichen is comprised of a fungus and an algae or cyanobacteria, working together in such a way that their cooperation essentially creates an entirely new organism.
most grass-type pokemon that are animals are indeed symbionts with a sort of plant. these mutualistic relationships are required in the majority of cases- even if you could remove the plant part from an animal pokemon, it wouldn't survive long afterwards. most of the time, the plant and animal tissues are so interwoven that removal would be impossible in the first place- cut off a deerling's flower, for example, and it will bleed. it's not just an animal with a plant growing on it, it's integrated down to the cellular level.
(note that there are also many grass type pokemon that are purely one species of plant- oddish and smoliv, for example. furthermore, there are plant-animal symbionts that aren't grass type- florges, notably, lives in symbiosis with the flowers around its neck and even photosynthesizes, but is actually a pure fairy-type.)
these composite organisms generally rely on both autotrophic and heterotrophic ways of getting food. the plant part will photosynthesize and the animal part will consume other organisms, and both parts will share in the nutrients and energy from these sources.
back to the topic at hand, though, shroomish and breloom! indeed, these pokemon are not at all plants. somewhat like paras and parasect, shroomish and breloom have both an animal and a fungal aspect (though paras and parasect have a particularly unique relationship with their fungi halves). interestingly, shroomish has very little animal-like features before it evolves, with barely any skeletal elements and minimal musculature compared to breloom, which is structured much more like a typical vertebrate, with large masses of fungal tissue being mostly on its head, neck, tailtip, and arms.
the line's green color is indeed something of a coincidence- they do not have any plant component nor do they photysynthesize. instead, it's hypothesized the green coloration is simply for camouflage among the dense forests that this species tends to call its home. while less common than white or orangey mushooms, there are mushrooms with a greenish hue, and similar pigments lend breloom its color.
shroomish and breloom get all their energy by ingesting food. they tend to be detritivores that sometimes supplement with live plants and the occasional insect or small vertebrate. they search forests for decomposing logs and the occasional rotten carcass to scavenge. unlike most other animals (with the exception of ruminants such as miltank, which use symbiotic bacteria and multi-stage digestion to break down tough plant matter), these pokemon are capable of breaking down the tough compounds found in wood and other plant matter like cellulose and lignin. this is thanks to the fungi that are part of them, which produce enzymes in the digestive system capable of slowly breaking down these difficult materials.
fungi make up only a small part of the pokemon family tree when compared to animals and plants, so it's always interesting to look into how they operate differently from their more common cousins. i love this cool mushroom dinosaur

These are the factors that affect bone health in all ages and sizes (tips at the end to prevent osteoporosis:
The amount of calcium in your diet. A diet low in calcium contributes to diminished bone density, early bone loss and an increased risk of fractures.
Physical activity. People who are physically inactive have a higher risk of osteoporosis than do their more-active counterparts.
Tobacco and alcohol use. Research suggests that tobacco use contributes to weak bones. Similarly, regularly having more than one alcoholic drink a day for women or two alcoholic drinks a day for men may increase the risk of osteoporosis.
Sex. You're at greater risk of osteoporosis if you're a woman, because women have less bone tissue than do men.
Size. You're at risk if you are extremely thin (with a body mass index of 19 or less) or have a small body frame because you might have less bone mass to draw from as you age.
Age. Your bones become thinner and weaker as you age.
Race and family history. You're at greatest risk of osteoporosis if you're white or of Asian descent. In addition, having a parent or sibling who has osteoporosis puts you at greater risk — especially if you also have a family history of fractures.
Hormone levels. Too much thyroid hormone can cause bone loss. In women, bone loss increases dramatically at menopause due to dropping estrogen levels. Prolonged absence of menstruation (amenorrhea) before menopause also increases the risk of osteoporosis. In men, low testosterone levels can cause a loss of bone mass.
Eating disorders and other conditions. Severely restricting food intake and being underweight weakens bone in both men and women. In addition, weight-loss surgery and conditions such as celiac disease can affect your body's ability to absorb calcium.
Certain medications. Long-term use of corticosteroid medications, such as prednisone, cortisone, prednisolone and dexamethasone, is damaging to bone. Other drugs that might increase the risk of osteoporosis include aromatase inhibitors to treat breast cancer, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, methotrexate, some anti-seizure medications, such as phenytoin (Dilantin) and phenobarbital, and proton pump inhibitors.
So? What can we do about this?
Include plenty of calcium in your diet. For adults ages 19 to 50 and men ages 51 to 70, the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) is 1,000 milligrams (mg) of calcium a day. The recommendation increases to 1,200 mg a day for women age 51 and older and for men age 71 and older.
=> Good sources of calcium include dairy products, almonds, broccoli, kale, canned salmon with bones, sardines and soy products, such as tofu. If you find it difficult to get enough calcium from your diet, ask your doctor about supplements.
Pay attention to vitamin D. Your body needs vitamin D to absorb calcium. For adults ages 19 to 70, the RDA of vitamin D is 600 international units (IUs) a day. The recommendation increases to 800 IUs a day for adults age 71 and older. Since we have Ed’s I encourage you to take 120% of the recommended intake. So that it’s still in the therapeutic level use
=> Good sources of vitamin D include oily fish, such as salmon, trout, whitefish and tuna. Additionally, mushrooms, eggs and fortified foods, such as milk and cereals, are good sources of vitamin D. Sunlight also contributes to the body's production of vitamin D. If you're worried about getting enough vitamin D, ask your doctor about supplements.
Include physical activity in your daily routine. Weight-bearing exercises, such as walking, jogging, and climbing stairs, can help you build strong bones and slow bone loss.
Avoid substance abuse. Don't smoke. If
you are female:
avoid drinking more than one alcoholic drink each day.
If you are male:
avoid drinking more than two alcoholic drinks a day.
(But if you ask me for advice I advise you to not drink alcohol at all because it’s poison for so many of our organs. Liver, kidneys and most importantly the brain. It’s a horrible neurotoxic substance that damages nerve endings and kills brain cells slowly but surely. And ofc empty calories!)
I am sharing this because the last time I got an X ray I was told I have the hips of a 89yo lady.
My smart scale two weeks ago said my bone density was 1,9kg
and my dexa scan I did a while back showed (2022) my bones were so fragile because they weighed 1,5kg. Which was so terrible. If someone hit me semi hard they could have shattered my bones then.
Now I am at 2,7kg of bone density and I have never felt better than this.
Do you guys want a follow up post on how I gained 0,8kg in bone density? And lost 5%body fat and gained 0,300kg of muscle?

Sick Day Magic
It may come as a shock to some that I am, in fact, a human being and not a 500 year old oak tree with internet access. /j
Being human, and actually being alive, means you will get sick! Exploring biology for my biomed degree has taught me a lot of things about virus's, bacteria, and how exactly they work! For example: All living things can be effected by virus's, they are nanometers big for that reason, and not much is known about their origins here on earth which is really cool! With that said, every living thing gets sick, and with that we can pair magic to help us through our sick days!
I know I am, simply because I am writing to you now while on sick leave from all 3 of my jobs. Currently the summer flu has hit our home really hard, so lets talk about recovery!
Obvious disclaimer before getting started: Doctors, medical professionals, and health organizations are here to help you. This post is not to discourage you from using modern medicine, or seeing a doctor when you need one. I actually am very much against using spiritual bypassing to discredit medical research, especially as someone who is entering the medical field. If you are sick it is always important to speak with your doctor before trying any holistic remedies, especially if you are on medications that can conflict with herbal supplements. Know the warning signs for when symptoms escalate. This post is mainly about illnesses that can be treated at home and go away within a couple days or weeks (cold, flu, etc)
Lets get started!
How do living things get sick?
To keep this as simple as possible, living beings get sick from small organisms in a couple different classifications. You have virus's, bacteria, fungi, or parasites, and they all have one goal: to use your body as a host! Some things cant reproduce on their own like virus's so they hijack your cells, some things feed off of you and your daily body functions like parasites! In all, we are exposed to all sorts of pathogens, and our body will react with the nasty symptoms like fevers, chills, coughing, vomiting, and more because your body is trying to fight off all the pathogens using your body to reproduce. There are some circumstances where medical intervention is required however, for things like the common cold, flu, and sore throat you can find remedies over the counter!
All living things get sick, including tree's, seals, and even grasses. These pathogens are really good at evolving with us!
What did people do historically?
Before the introduction of germ theory in the 1860's, and the introduction of modern medicine in the 19th century cultures all around the world were still evolving to combat common sicknesses! From medieval Europe using cupping and leaches which assisted in medical standards and theories, to indigenous tribes using the herbs around them to pave the way for medications, cultures all over the world had their own tips and tricks for staying healthy!
In general most cultures followed a 3 way system, prevention, coping, and resistance, where methods were followed to assist in times of sickness. Often times they had distinct prayers and rituals, and would combine it with local remedies and folklore to help the general population.
Later on, herbs would pave the way for medicine as scientists discovered exactly what about an herb could help someone and isolate it into a pill, salve, or tincture!
What is some illness prevention magic?
When getting vaccinated create a prayer or chant to not only take your mind off it, but also for a metaphysical boost
leave offerings to gods of health during cold and flu season by your front door, and leave offerings to spring gods during pollen season by windows
have fire tonic, elderberry syrup, and lions main mushroom tinctures prepared (reminder: always consult a doctor)
Keep crystals like jade, green aventurine, and carnelian by your bed for health
Keep fresh flowers in the home, as scents can represent healing
Visualize sickness being repelled away from you as you practice hygiene
keep sigils in your shoes to 'draw illness back to the earth'
Mundanely make sure you are also having regular checkups (if you cant afford to see a doctor regularly, see what option you have for free clinics, or public health options like medicaid in the US), going to see your dentist because the teeth has a lot to do with health, and practicing good health habits can all be really helpful with preventing illness
What is some illness coping magic?
When sick, keep lavender and chamomile under your pillow as a sleep aid
Contrary to popular belief: Don't burn incense when you have a stuffy nose because the smoke will irritate your nose, instead use a humidifier and optionally put essential oils in it for drainage
take healing spiritual showers
create soft broths, and plain foods using kitchen magic and infusing it with intentions
Optionally if you are having trouble eating because of vomiting or fever, enchant your water bottle with healing energy with even just a simple chant
Put cold or hot compress on pressure points, optionally while you rest research what those pressure points symbolize and how you can translate that into your healing rituals from bed
visualize a healing green or blue light enveloping places that may hurt like joints or the head
Listen to gentle music or healing subliminal during naps to draw out illnesses
enchant your tissue box so every tissue you use is one less you have to use later
create a salve using willow or birch bark, camphor, mint, and chamomile for a soothing joint pain relief
Enchant medications with chants or sigils on the bottle
Mundanely, we see a lot of spiritual hacks, don't put garlic in your nose (The only reason you think it works is because it irritates your nose lining creating mucus), don't use elderberry (It puts your immune system in over drive when you are already sick and actually hinders the healing process), its better to limit herbal and holistic approaches other than things that are rich in things your body needs like fruits, veggies, and electrolytes!
Recovery goes into this much like prevention, our bodies begin to process and understand the invaders making it less likely for you to get infected by the same problem again, however as mutations grow, make sure you are taking care of yourself!
Spiritually, your body is a temple, and its the only one you have, love it and it will love you back, take care of it and it will take care of you back. As a human being I recognize the struggle that concept can be. Its easy for someone to say "just sleep lmao" without having insomnia for example. In general, finding a routine that works for you, your body, and your mind is very important! You are a spiritual being, but you are also human! Don't let people try to sell you the idea that modern medicine is out trying to hurt you, because there are people out there like me who will stand for making the medical field a safer and better place! Don't let people try to sell you the idea that your sickness is because of "bad karma" or that your "low vibes" or something silly like that because the truth is, you get sick because you are alive. Cherish being alive in all of its forms.
Fair winds friends!

Everything You Need To Know About Rooted Actives Health Supplements
You are undoubtedly aware of the importance of a balanced, healthy diet. However, buying and cooking fresh, healthy meals daily can be complicated. Furthermore, the micronutrient requirements of individuals vary according to factors such as gender, physical activity level, dietary preferences, age, health status, and use of medications. Health supplements complement your usual diet to guarantee a balanced supply of nutrients. They are full of vitamins and minerals that improve your appearance, mood, and sleep quality. You may need a nutritional supply despite eating a balanced and healthy diet. You may obtain all the minerals you require, including zinc and vitamin A, among other food supplement benefits. The long-term health of your immune system, joints, bones, and heart depends on eating the right kinds of crucial vitamins and minerals.
About Rooted Actives Health & Dietary Supplements
Rooted Actives is the first brand to launch medicinal mushroom supplements in India. Let’s discuss about some of the health and dietary supplements by Rooted Actives:
USDA Organic Reishi Mushroom Extract Powder
Reishi Mushroom (Ganoderma Lucidum), also referred to as the “mushroom of immortality,” is a reddish-brown, woody super mushroom that is well-known for its ability to modulate the immune system and balance out an overactive one. It also has positive effects on heart health. This water-extracted fruit body powder has a wealth of biochemicals, including beta-glucans, triterpenes, and other substances.
Super Greens, Mushrooms & Herbs Blend
With every scoop of this mushroom and daily greens supplement, you get a general wellness boost and an energy increase. You stay feeling renewed and energized with our strong herbal powder. It is rich in beta carotene, zinc, copper, and magnesium, low in calories, and high in vitamin C, iron, and vitamin B6, among others.
Ashwagandha Root Extract
Ashwagandha, often called Withania Somnifera, is a potent herb widely used to assist the body’s stress response by controlling cortisol levels, or the stress hormone. Your immunity, vitality, and general everyday productivity are all improved by this root extract. It also enhances fertility, vigor, strength, and endurance. Your happiness, mental well-being, and cardiovascular health all improve with it.
Plant-Based Collagen
Collagen is one of the key proteins in the body for immunity, good skin and hair, and strong bones. However, beyond age 30, its levels naturally start to decline, which can cause wrinkles, fine lines, and other age-related issues. Sea buckthorn, silica, acai berries, biotin, shiitake, tremella mushrooms, and 17 other foods known to improve skin and hair health are all included in Rooted Active’s Vegan Collagen Supplement.
Why Should You Choose Rooted Actives Health Supplements Over Others?
You should choose Rooted Actives health supplements over others for the following reasons:
Certified USDA Organic
This coveted logo can only be seen on labels of goods manufactured with 95–100% organic certified USDA organic ingredients. We take great pride in every one of our health supplements, which has this distinction since it is a challenging accomplishment. All Rooted Actives health supplements are certified USDA organic. Customers can confidently purchase certified USDA organic health supplements, knowing that we have undergone inspection and approval processes.
Third-Party Purity Tested
When selecting health supplements like Maitake Mushroom Extract, USDA Organic Tremella Mushroom Extract Powder, and Ashwagandha Root Extract, among many more, third-party purity testing is crucial. Our supplements are tested for quality and purity, giving you more peace of mind when making purchases and reducing the possibility of contaminated or mislabeled products posing health hazards.
Vegan & Non-GMO
Supplements based on plants like Plant Protein and Super Greens, Mushrooms, and Herbs Blend are less likely to trigger allergies or adverse effects because they come from natural resources. Additionally, there are no artificial sweeteners, GMOs, preservatives, synthetic chemicals, or other additives in plant-based or vegan supplements. This certifies that using Rooted Actives health supplements is safe.
No Fillers
Fillers are frequently included to make vitamins and health supplements easier to handle and produce. Fillers can attach to the active substances in health supplements, reducing the body’s ability to absorb such nutrients. Furthermore, some fillers may have adverse side effects like headaches, upset stomachs, and allergic reactions. Don’t worry! Our health supplements are free from fillers to make your nutrition count and make you strong from the inside.
Conclusion
Rooted Actives consider more than those factors since the preparation and combination techniques also affect a health supplement’s potency and quality. We employ conventional preparation techniques, including water- or alcohol-based extraction and traditional component combinations, to increase the bioavailability and absorption of nutrients and enable people to get significant health supplement benefits. Our health supplements, like Ashwagandha Extract, Plant-Based Collagen, Organic Lion’s Mane Mushroom Liquid Extract, and Oyster Mushroom Extract Powder, among others, are nutrient-dense and super effective since we add nothing artificial or manufactured. We thoroughly analyze our health supplements to remove any impurities or contaminations and identify the active ingredients to provide actual food supplement benefits.

It’s late, IT’S MUSHROOMING TIME
Did you know. Did you know it has been over seven months since I did a live cookalong? A tragedy. Also I have 72 ounces of mushrooms in the fridge. Let us rectify that with this modified mushroom duxelles recipe that I love with all of my internal organs combined.
I will note that the original recipe ingredients are normal, and my modifications are in bold, because some of my changes make more sense when you know what the original was.
8 ounces mushrooms
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided in half or more (salted butter is fine, reduce the amount of other salt you put in to taste)
1/4 cup finely chopped shallot or SWEET ONION, 1/4 cup to 1/2 -ish the amount of mushrooms. (Or however much is convenient; I usually use a whole onion per double or triple recipe)
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme, or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme) (I have thus far used only dried thyme, and supplemented with Italian seasoning too without reducing the thyme)
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup dry vermouth, sherry, or white wine or substitute (I use WHITE WINE VINEGAR reduced from the original measurement by at least a third. For this base recipe, that's roughly 2.5 tbsp)
>>>Note: you can experiment using another white wine/sherry/vermouth substitute such as apple cider vinegar, sherry vinegar, apple cider/juice, etc. But it will affect the taste; I still recommend putting in less of the substitute than the recipe's original amount to begin, and you can add more if needed based on taste.
1. Gather ingredients.
I am making a...nonuple recipe tonight. So. Lotta mushrooms. The recipe stays the same except for the math, and when we get to the cooking part, it'll just take longer to cook.
2. Chop mushrooms in food processor. You want small chopped, but chunky is fine.
The fresher your mushrooms are, the easier they will chop in the food processor. The wetter your mushrooms are, the more annoying they are to chop in the food processor. This is just a warning; keep a spatula handy to scrape off the sides.
3. Place mushrooms in a bowl to wait. Original recipe says to wring them out. Nobody got time for that. (This is also part of why the cooking time will longer than you initially think, because there's more water in the mushrooms.)
Anyway, I'll see y'all back here in however long it takes me to process four and a half pounds of mushrooms, because God has cursed me with my own hubris.
#cooking with Kayt#this recipe actually goes very quick and easy if you use the original amount or like. only double or triple it.
