started this year with anxiety, ended it as a workaholic. this current role is due to an unfortunate series of events in 2024. i'm just running errands & running out of time. ( not looking forward to 2025 ) 12:51 am, 15th Dec, 2024. Wrapped in fluffy blanket, thinking about all the things yet to be done.

#sorry for not answering texts i am always busy w things i did not sign up for & i can't explain this further #i think i am more like my dad than i thought i was - inevitable workaholism </3 #i only feel good when i get work done #the backlog is a burden to me #office work is easier than other work at times #outings seem heavy at times - i'd rather tick off something from my to-do list #i miss exercising and going on long walks and my days in goa #adulthood has hit me hard at 23 - feels like i'm years ahead of my age #capricorn season is once again killing me #it is time to make a new to-do list #or just go off the grid #idk why i'm wired like this #capricorn intj eldest daughter #i need to get my life on track ( things i say daily )

And he pushed her away HARD many MANY times over the years for whatever BS reason he could think of #and they've finally gotten to a place (and it's a year later than would have been better for everyone) where this is permanent.#This is safe. This is home. They're stuck with each other.#And I love the contrast between Matt anxiously trying to convince Kristen and his gf that there's a threat and he has to go DO STUFF and #how different the reaction is when he says the same things (albeit with more detail) to Frank and Karen. It's night and day.#He's only a real person with people who know his secret identity.#There's something delicious about a phone call being where Matt's stuck. As if he doesn't have a history of dodging her calls. And I get #that he would have welcomed calls now - or in the last year - but there are so many scenes were poor karen is just getting shutdown by Matt #and Foggy. Calls unanswered or ended quickly. Because they have other stuff going on and lying to her is hard so it's easier not to pick up #And then you have Frank who is like... a fugitive? A hermit basically. Someone off the grid. Living in a basement. Who has an active cell #plan and has made sure Karen has his number in case she needs it. And he clearly answers when she rings. And there's no one else ringing.#So it's basically a phone - maybe specifically so Karen can reach out.#AND I LOVE THE FRAMING OF THIS SHOT. I love how close Matt and Karen are sitting. I love that Frank is pretending to ignore them.#Coz there's no way he's okay with how close they are. But he's not going to make it weird because he's a good friend to Karen.#Maybe I should blame Karen for me shipping every ship that involves Karen.

i wish I had more friends who liked the same things that i do bc I'm booking this tiny cabin in the woods for a few days and none of my friends enjoy the outdoors so I'm going solo which is good for the soul but at the same time if I'm murdered I'd like someone to be there other than the murderer

Sitcom Sinclairs headcanons…

I’m coming down from an anxious day, so here is some content for Bo, Vincent and Lester in my little universe with an s/o with anxiety. Self projecting? Perhaps, we shall see.

Bo…

• His gut instinct is to laugh directly in your face at first, or tell you to “grow a pair”.

•But he’s in therapy now! The man is plus one green flag (because any man who goes to therapy has a green flag, in my mind).

•So now he stops himself before it comes out.

•He’s not great at the whole “soft, mushy, comforting” deal, but he’ll go easier on you if you’re having one of your days.

•If he finds you having an attack, thats an entirely different story. His therapist taught him some grounding techniques which he will gladly walk through with you.

•Once you’ve calmed down he’ll leave, only to return with ice cream or some home cooked Southern comfort food. Please be nice, he put his whole heart into those fried green tomatoes. That gumbo is made with his blood, sweat and tears.

•As you both eat, he’ll put one of your favorite movies on the working TV.

•One armed side hug the whole time. Tightens his grip if he feels you begin to shake or breathe a little heavier.

•Anxious s/o? Slap some affirmations on that human and give them food.

Vincent…

•Again, plus one green flag.

•While he might not always understand your specific cause of anxiety, he will try. He understands what anxiety is like.

•If you’re in the middle of an attack, he’ll ask (in his own special and unique way) if you’d like him to stay or to give you space.

•Also not the best at standard means of comfort.

•Will disappear before joining you, only to return with a cup of tea and a weighted blanket. Will request that you don’t ask how he obtained the blanket. Don’t worry about it. Also don’t worry about putting it on, he’s already wrapping it around you like a cocoon.

•Will listen as long as you need, will let you wait out the waves of nerves resting on his lap as he sketches or plays with your hair (only if you agree, but he knows firsthand how relaxing and comforting it can be to have your hair played with). Don’t look at his sketches, they’re definitely not you. Totally.

•If you don’t want to talk about it, he’ll try to find another way for you to get it out. He has suggestions, but if you have other ideas he’s all ears and ready to get whatever you need.

•Speaking of getting whatever you need.. Southern comfort food makes it’s not-so-surprising return! Made with love by the twins. He will watch you and make sure you eat until you are comfortably full.

•Overall, he’s comforting by just being there, in silent support. He might not speak much, but he will make sure you know that you are safe, that you are loved dearly, and that he is always there for you.

Lester…

•His s/o is having a rough day? Hold the phone, he’s on his way. Will undoubtedly enter and announce his presence with “have no fear, Lester is here!”

•To be frank, if you’re having anxiety he’s probably anxious for a split second just because you are.

•Will make sure you are as comfortable as humanly possible while he sets to getting your mind off of your anxiety.

•If you need to talk it out, he’s there in a minute. Don’t want to talk and just need comfort and a redirection of the mind? Bam, he’s there with it.

•I think Lester would have a small house, meaning a small kitchen, you can see and smell the food he’s cooking. Oh, whats this? Southern comfort food? Wow, what a surprise.. (he’s a good chef, but he’s still nervous you wont like it. Please reassure him).

•Will put on old cassettes to watch to help distract you.

•Bonus: Jonesy snuggles.

•He’ll tell you stories to help distract you and make you laugh, like funny anecdotes about his brothers (don’t tell them he told you).

•You don’t have to do anything for the rest of the day. Just kick back and relax, Lester has it all under control. He just wants you to feel comfortable and to rest so you can feel better, in whatever way that means for you.

There’s truly no joy like a northern mix in snow up to their chest

I wanted to stay on the already trampled path around the meadow perimeter, Kal said we had to go through the middle so he could look for bunnies

#i ended up doing over a mile in snow up to (and sometimes above) my knees :’)#because i dropped my phone in the snow after taking videos of kal and didnt notice until we were back on the sidewalk :’)#then when i trecked back with a flashlight and my watch i found out i couldnt ping it without wifi #so i had to go back AGAIN to get zuzu so he could make a hotspot and we brought a shovel in case we had to do a grid search #thankfully the battery held on JUST long enougj to ping it #which was good bc it was a solid 40ft from where i assumed it fell out of my pocket so we wouldntve found it till spring #and it still works perfectly fine :D yippeeee #battery life might end up being a bit shot from the cold but so far it seems to be holding up fine #kaladin puppy #.txt #also kal is leashed here #his long line is actually a camping tie out cable (bc he snapped the metal on his regular long line) so its hard to see #kal is probably never going to be an off leash dog #because as much as i know he loves me. he would absolutely just take off to explore and he has the borzoi ‘wtf is a car’ gene #in theory he is trained with multiple recalls #in practice he is not. or at least not enough that id ever risk losing him
