My advice for people who wanna start going to the club is find a themed night that appeals to you (and your friends if applicable, but you can go alone too. No one cares, you just have to be safe and maybe let people know where you are especially if you don't usually go) because it seems less daunting if you know it'll be emo night or abba night or broadway night or something. You know like-minded people will be there, and that takes some of the fear of the unknown away. And you'll know the songs, so you'll be more hyped and have more fun than on an average night. Start off on the right foot and all that. Also you can dress the theme if you want
#there's a lot of themes that can get very specific so you can probably find one that appeals to you if you look!#like you can check to see if there are any anime dance parties or hell there was a shrek rave around here not long ago. I didn't go tho#but obviously in some places you may have to drive further so it might not always be as feasible. i need to go to dc for all the cool stuff
