So since posting this we've gotten several more prompts suggested. We now have more than enough to vote on for each month. As a result the prompt suggestions will be closing on February 2nd instead of the 28th. Voting will go up February 2nd or 3rd and will close February 20th. The list will go up as soon as I have finished putting it together afterwards.

Literally that, I haven't drawn anything from TFP for a long time (thanks to the fact that I'm specifically hyperfixed on ROTB) and well, I wanted to go back to this a bit:P

1. I tried again to draw Ratty with Synthetic Energon, I'm not 100% happy but I like the color palette, it's weird for me AJJD

2. I'm not going to lie, I wanted to draw something GB!Optiratch for MONTHS but I had never done it. Now I have a doodle that I want to finish because I listened Luna-Zoé and IT'S THEIR SONG😭😭—it's Post-Movie and I guess something based on RID :P

Anyways, onto the explanation

Optimus had known Ratchet struggled a lot in the carrying department when it came to cybertronian reproduction, the poor mech having experienced multiple miscarriages during previous relationships. So Optimus was shocked (understandably) upon Ratchet asking him to spark him.

Ratchet spent most of the pregnancy working as usual, just with less shouting as to avoid any potential stress that could lead to harming his Prime's offspring. However when it came to the 6 month mark, Optimus demanded for Ratchet to go on break until the sparkling is born. Which Ratchet complies to surprisingly well.

Finally after years of suffering with losses when carrying; Ratchet manages to birth a healthy baby boy whom he and Optimus call Grimlock. Named after an old friend who passed away in the war. And while raising Grimlock was a struggle for the two, they loved him regardless and never failed to let it known that even if the boy wasn't as smart as Ratchet and Optimus; Grimlock was loved and cherished by all bots within the base

I just realised...

I wrote an Angstober oneshot that is set in the same universe as Make You Feel Alright. It's going to be the last oneshot of the month.

However, I just edited today's oneshot and realised that it would make a lot of sense in that universe, too. It ticks all of the boxes:

bad thing happens to Bee

Ratchet comforts Bee as best as he can

Dad-Ratchet struggles to deal with bad thing happening to Bee, is kind of depressed and has self worth issues

there are no sparkbonds (I didn't actually know they were a thing yet when I was writing MYFA)

there IS engine rumbling (which is the first time in months I've written that but it was quite prominent in MYFA)

it is angsty, yet fluffy (I think. tbh I'm terrible at knowing what qualifies as angst, whump, fluff, etc.)

there is robots crying tears of platonic/parental pain

references to Optiratch raising Bee together although it is not explicit/the focus

Ratchet's even holding Bee's hand throughout the whole fic!

Let me think about this for a bit longer while I wash my hair, but I'm tempted to just say, yeah, it is in the same universe.

Like, legit, it fits kind of perfectly into the MYFA universe. The only MYFA trope it doesn't have is Ratchet thinking about what Bee could have been instead of a scout or how this War has become senseless at this point.

And Bee doesn't yet have antennae. But that's an easy fix.

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

Well....I haven't written anything super crazy yet (I don't think?) but...I'd have to say my "In Relativity" fic, purely because 1.) It's the longest singular fic I have ever written (and finished), taking literally months to write (😭 I pretty much mentally checked out of so many Health 2 classes and was working on that fic instead lmfaooo) and 2.) The amount of scenes I ended up entirely rewriting more than once, some of them altogether scrapped. I'd classify it as a wild ride, in short, because of how much effort it had taken which I'd not yet given to anything I've written....also because I guess....a lot happens in it?? Idk, idt it was that interesting in the end, but it was something meant to be very small and throw-away, which in the end had a lot of thought and such put in, which to me looking back on it, feels like what I'd call a "wild ride" ^^''

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

Themes: Emotional stuff! Like people breaking down or going into their deepest thoughts, their fears, feelings about others...that kinda thing. Also, like...anything that builds on a character. I like the idea of trying to delve deeper into characters that didn't get much in a series, like if we saw glimpses of things but nothing more....I'll take what I interpret those glimpses to be and build on them in the ways I find interesting, I think :D Feels: Like hurt/comfort, yk? Angst but with some kind of "hey, it'll be okay" except for that one optiratch fic but I enjoyed that change of pace ngl as well as like...laughter and joy....idk if that even counts but I'm putting that down. I think back to writing Tales from Iacon stuff and I really like to write those moments of peace and laughter between Orion and Megatronus...thinking about how they ended up....idk. Scenes: I'd kinda just repeat what I said above, since that's about it ^^'' Imagery: I like to talk about lighting a lot?? Like of the sky and such. And...I try to liken certain phrasing to like, drawing stuff when I can. "Painted the edge of his glass" and "drawing upon the gentle heartstrings" and all...I try my best to make vivid imagery a thing in my writing, pointing out as many details of things as possible so you can almost see it (or I can, anyway) as you read. This comes from the books I used to read when I was younger often having huge paragraphs of descriptions and details, which I think has seeped into my writing over time, lessening a little every time since I'm working to be more concise but, well...as you can see here........the progress is slow :'D Also idk where this goes but, subtle movements and expressions characters make since I believe that sentience means little sometimes meaningless things that they do while talking or listening or whatever because we people do them as well....does that make sense?? Idk ;w; but yea!

UHM! oh gee another one! ummmmmm..........idk if it's just me but I think I'm pretty okay at creating good reading pace with my spacing and stuff? Like I'm careful while reading back and I indent a lot because I want to try to ensure the proper pauses between each sentence and movement if there are any so the scene flows to the reader as closely as possible to how I'd read it in my head. Again, that may just be me and anyone who reads my writing might be thinking: what the fresh hell are all these random paragraphs and spaces for jfc and potentially dislike my writing for it.....but my intention is that and imo reading it back, the pauses and flow work very well, usually :]

Hunger Pains - SFW, but again, dubious things be involved (I had big feelings working on my first fics). Kudos: 281 4. 5. Do you respond to comments? I try to, but sometimes I just like to hoard them and stare gleefully. I don't want to annoy my readers by going nuts over their keyboard smash responses.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Well- I mean, I have plenty of WIPS in progress with BRUTAL endings, but currently the angstiest one might be Hunger Pains.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I don't do happy endings- KIDDING. Currently the one with the happiest ending is probably Newsparks. It is quite literally my only finished fic that doesn't maul someone emotionally or physically.

8. Do you get hate on fics? Not yet. Seems folks on Ao3 are super polite now. I heard it was rough a few years ago, but as it is, I am waiting for the inevitable hate comment so that I can cackle and know I am a true writer.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Nope :D

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? Haven't done crossovers between any continuities or fandoms. I've daydreamed it, but I don't feel like banging my head on a wall to get different reality rules right.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? I don't think so? If I have had fic stolen, then the stealer is REAL quiet.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? No, but I have had a podfic made of one of my one shots before!

16. What are your writing strengths? Description and character observation. I like keeping dialogue decently light and instead delving into the character I am writing.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Fricking fluff. If there isn't any angst to forward it, I struggle to write it. I need an antagonist, SOMETHING to give the characters reason and depth.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? Neat! It has its places though, so I would use it sparing or provide readers some way to potentially translate it. But I suppose it depends on what the writer is aiming for.

19. First fandom you wrote for? I mean, I guess Warrior Cats? I never posted anything, I just scribbled my anger at Firestar's death down in the form of a solid three paragraphs where I made everything the way I wanted it. I don't even think I still have that paper anymore.

20. Favorite fic you've written? Does it have to be a completed fic? If we are talking completed, then Broken Record. Uncomplete would have to be either Action or The Many Lives of Optimus Prime.
