My own comic was going to end this December without funding, and the only reason we've made as much progress as we have towards the goal was because my readers made such an effort to help it find the support it needs.

Indie creators are on our own out here, the only thing that can help us is the audience!! Every share or comment helps even if you think it doesn't!! I feel the need to just idk say why I haven’t been very active on tumblr. Aside from life, I’m just tired of the stuff about konig I’ve been seeing. What is your favorite and least favorite version of all the turtles?

I feel like it’s fairly obvious who I favour the most if you read my chat fic, Too Many Turtles (I have a lot of bias, oops) but I shall break it down.

Ok so favourites:

1987: Michelangelo (come on, he’s a surfer dude and actual angel)

90’s: Donnie (the snark he has with Casey makes my day, though Mikey is still second because he genuinely has the best relationship with Donnie I love watching those two interact)

2003: Mikey, duh. Just look at my blog and my fanfics. I love this chaotic gremlin.

2007: Mikey (again! Especially after hearing about the cancelled sequel of him joining the foot, his brothers demutating, etc. I will say I am looking forward to finally getting to the 2007 plot line in my chat fic, it’s gonna be great >:) )

You know, before I wrote myself into being physically sick and then had a year long writer's block w v few moments of reprieve where I could write anything (and nothing I was supposed to be working on). (it did not help that I was spending most of my time doing oil changes at work and all of my energy). I plan on finishing the last week of that series this year. It's part 12 of Tyler's Bad Year, my big whumptober 2023 series (@ailesswhumptober) and part 16 of my whumptober 2023 series overall. This really snuck up on me, and I would've planned something special if I'd realized sooner, but this is also a part in the series I've been looking forward to the entire time so it's still exciting. To anyone who has read all the way through, I love you so much. This has been a helluva ride, and I might have actually written myself into a literal fever a week ago (that I'm still lowkey sick from but I'm fine), but no regrets. We're in the last fortnight of the series, and it's getting close to the end of Tyler's Bad Year!

Since I didn't really get to plan something special posted on number 50 for Wednesday, I'm thinking I might make post 200 my Her Monster sequel. I haven't started it yet, but I've got plenty of time to get writing. It was technically my second Wednesday fic, but it was the beginning of an era and it established a lot of what I'm known for in this fandom and the way I most enjoy writing within this fandom. And writing in general.

I have a lot of ideas in my files and works in progress (the two biggest being the novel-length projects All Roads Lead to Rome and I Bit Him so He's Mine) so I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Some will be scheduled with special events. One in particular is a But I'm a Cheerleader! bi4bi wyler au that was originally planned for this year's international bisexuality day, but that was before I started whumptober and the kink bingo and wyler week. There wasn't time to put in the work that au deserved.

Don't worry, actually scanlating is quite enjoyable to me, I can even zone out. And sometimes when I'm not doing it, I get withdrawal symptoms. I'm trying to do other things in my spare time now too, so it's a happy balance. And as for the BSD translations, you can find them over here. It isn't supposed to be a BSD exclusive blog but... um... oops? I guess I've been hyperfixating on SKK lately. But yeah, in theory, I will post scanlations for some other fandoms too there, someday... Ao.

I have a question because this has been confusing. What is the Sun and Moon show? Now, to preface. I’m won’t ask for an essay explaining it. Just gimme a tl;dr, because whatever the fuck this Sun and Moon show bullshit is? Just looks like a repeat of the SansVerse (eg. Underfell, Underswap, Glitchtale etc.) Fandom Drama included…

tbh I don't really know how to TLDR it, so uh. oops.

so it was a fanmade show part of a bigger series called the Security Breach Show. it was just FNaF characters playing games with added lore, mostly unconnected to the actual games, which to be fair, has spaghetti lore anyways. it started as Sun and Moon playing games with some lore videos, then Eclipse was added, then Lunar, then Bloodmoon, yada yada yada.

at some point an alternate version of Eclipse was introduced, and then the original Moon died and was replaced with a New Moon who was given some other name because Old Moon came back because apparently everyone is William fuckin Afton and can't stay dead. anyways for some reason some fuck nuts decided that because good Eclipse, called Solar, was from an alternate dimension, it wasn't incest to ship him with New Moon. they've also started shipping Eclipse (the old one, who came back, AGAIN. this has happened, what, four times now?) with Earth, who is Sun and Moon's sister, and thus also Eclipse's sister.

Spoiler alert! it's still fucking incest! they're cousins/adopted siblings or whatever, but the big blogs who shant be named claim that both New Moon and Solar have decide on a term and if they can't then it's okay to ship them. even though both would refer to the other with familial terms and Moon was canonical aroace. but it's totally okay and not erasure because the big blogs are ace! just ace. which means they have no fucking say at all actually and they're doing the exact same fucking thing that other people do to aces. and now the VAs themselves are sucking up to it instead of. you know. telling the incest shippers to stop sending death threats and gore images to people who just want their happy family shenanigans and also writing misleading fics that appeared as that only to turn into correctional rape fics. because that's a normal thing to do. one of my mutuals still gets harassed by those anons and the creatures of the show have done fuck all to address it. there's a reason I call the fandom "Rebornica fandom 2".

there was also a thing in an episode where Moon compared Bloodmoon, who needed to kill and drink blood or they would literally die, to a real life murderer and rapist. because that's apparently a normal thing to do.

point is, the incest side of the fandom are borderline dangerous and for some reason have a habit of specifically targeting minors for some reason, and the fandom in general seem to be incapable of reading. previously mentioned mutual has in their pinned post for incest shippers to not interact and people still ignore it. because they're braindead idiots.

at this point I have such a bitter view of the fandom and part of me wants to feel bad for talking shit, but at the same time I can't be fucked. if it crashes and burns, which it probably will at some point, I just do not care anymore. and the biggest shame is that I liked the show. it was fun. but then writing got more and more sloppy, the characters, especially Monty, became hard to like, and the fandom being what it is was the nail on the coffin for me. but all it takes is one moldy apple to ruin the whole crop.

I suppose in a way it is a repeat of the SansVerse, innit, heh. I guess at least that was just selfcest, though that's it's own other can of worms.

I guess the TLDR is funny fanshow has a shit fandom that ships incest and sends threats to the fans who don't ship incest and the creatures are doing fuck all about it and I dare say are making it worse.
