but mechanic reader can be really fun. you and lighter can talk about all of the upgrades he want. he’d try to smooth talk you but it goes completely over your head, inviting you for a ride but you just casually tell him that there are other bikes you’re working on.

when you both meet outside of your workshop, he finds it a little difficult to talk to you. at least he can use his motorcycle to come up with small conversation topics, but now he’s a little stuck. THAT WON’T STOP HIM THOUGH. one thing that i think would make burnice and caesar notice lighter likes you is that he actively tries to talk to you. it’s endearing to see him start a conversation and then have his whole attention on you. the girls are all looking at each other, knowing they’re gonna talk about this later tonight in their rooms for girl talk.

the fact that its okay to like really popular characters/ships in a fandom is something i didn't start acknowledging until recently and its done wonders. For the longest time i was like "oh i like this character, but so does most of the fandom, and they know much more/are more invested in said character, i'll seem so generic if i say its my favourite, so i should change my favourite character"

like,,, no. its alright. there is a reason people like that character so much. if the others have other headcanons/ are more invested, let them be. you can stick to your own version of the character. let it be generic, its generic for a reason.
