There's something about Data's love for Sherlock Holmes that's so special to me.

The writers could've made him interested in something stereotypically tied to robotics or something like science or math, but they didn't. They gave him an interest in a detective book series from the 1800s.

I mean, sure, Sherlock Holmes is extremely popular and internationally loved (probably even still in the future), but the fact that they chose THIS SPECIFIC book series for Data to be interested in is something that is so so special to me.

Like he wraps his Tail around someone's arm as a way of showing trust and/or affection so it's basically hand holding
