Guilt consumed Vincent whenever he lied to Renee. Vincent thought it was risky to let her know about investigating the secret basement with Isaac. She'd want to help and that meant gathering unwanted attention from the police and the media. When they arrived, Vincent sat there in his car, shoulders slumped. He tried to think. He strained to think. But seeing his childhood home only triggered traumatic events from his past, obscuring all his plans for the day.

"Isaac…I don't think I'm ready today," he said, hiding the tremor in his voice. "It's okay, we can take our time to solve it," Isaac had his own nerves seeing Vincent's childhood home; they were facing the unknown after all. "I'm ready whenever you are."

📽️ Operation Finale (2018)

This movie was so interesting! It was extremely detailed and easy to follow. It wasn’t super action-packed, although there was some action; but it kept my interest the whole time. The fact that it’s based on a true story just makes it even better, especially since I learned some things I never knew about Israel after World War II. I would definitely recommend this movie especially if you’re someone who is interested in history.

Sex/nudity: 2/10 (kissing, woman briefly seen in a bra)

Language: 4/10 (one f word and several other curse words)

Violence: 7/10 (gory violence vividly described but not seen, other violence including torture seen on screen)

Overall rating: 7/10

A book recommendation for Felice in Young Royals, that will make her feel seen and understood, is Young Adult novel, Ace of Spades by Faridah Àbíké-íyímídé.

This Get Out meets Gossip Girl inspired thriller, is perfect for lovers of Dark Academia.

Set in an elite all white high school, where the only two Black kids, Devon and Chiamaka, start to feel that all is not right in their last year of school. Their dreams for their future, and their lives, are at risk from a mysterious entity called Aces.

Chiamaka is also the popular girl in her school and is mixed-race like Felice. This book was published the month before Young Royals season one came out, so I would totally recommend d it to be on Felice's tbr. It's also featured in Heartstopper Season one episode one - Isaac is reading it at Charlie's sleepover party.

The author Faridah, who is Black-British, queer and Muslim, was writing Ace of Spades during her first year at a Scottish university, aged 19. The book was part inspired by her experiences there.

About the teenage friendships in Ace of Spades, Faridah has said:

"Something that gets left out of t.v. shows and books often is how much friendship means a lot to teenagers. I think friendship breakups are more common and more hurtful than romantic ones when you're growing up, because those are your main relationships. I really wanted to highlight how toxic friendships and unhealthy relationships can look like. As well as ones that are good but flawed. I think it's really important to show teenagers that. When I was younger there were so many friendships I had that were definitely toxic but I had no words to articulate why they were because I guess everybody's desperate for friendship and nobody wants to be alone."

so like... i'm curious to know why did you not pick oscar isaac for the role of hob gadling in sandman? i love ferdinand kingsley and i think that he did a great job in the role, but i still think that oscar isaac would have literally rocked it.

Was Oscar living in the UK in spring of 2021? And was he not somewhere shooting something else? That was when we cast and shot Episode 6, from actors who were available the week we were shooting, and given the COVID situation at the time, from people living in the UK. He wasn't one of the people we auditioned for the role, perhaps because of those things.

Summary: A malfunctioning TARDIS interrupts Sir Isaac Newton coming up with the theory of mavity, then lands the Doctor and Donna on a seemingly deserted spaceship, before the HADS promptly abandons them there.  Whilst investigating, they encounter their doppelgängers and become separated, and must decide which version of them is the real Doctor and Donna.  Genuinely creepy bottle episode and my favourite of the three specials.
