(Some silly headcanons about Mortalitasi and Nevarran traditions that ended up leading me to Emmrich. How typical.)

We don't actually know all that much about Nevarra and their customs. World of Thedas and some of the in-game codex tells us some key points: strong royal families, a rich history of dragon hunting, an elite group of mages rumored to be heavily involved in makings of the country, and, of course, the thing that this country is most famous for - the fascination with the dead.

Our very own Nevarran companion mentions a couple of things about her home country:

And even though she doesn't seem fond of Mortalitasi practices or Nevarran customs surrounding the dead, she admits that some stories that pervade the South are greatly exaggerated:

This makes me think that this interest in the dead is still a personal choice. I doubt that an average Nevarran is obsessed with those rituals any more than an average person from Ferelden is with theirs - those are just a part of their traditions that obviously affect their lives in unique ways, but that is all.

Now, Nevarran nobility are a different matter. They are said to start the construction of their tombs very early in life - lavishly decorated palaces with gardens, ballrooms and bathhouses. A sign of power and wealth for them, and that I can believe.

But when it comes to Mortalitasi, do they, in general, care as much? Do they take all these things, all these rituals, to extreme somehow, professional pride and all?

How much would a Mortalitasi care about their own tomb? Would Mortalitasi friends and colleagues ever promise to lead the other's ceremony depending on who dies first? "Oh, I'll totally mummify you if you're the one to go first, don't you worry, I know you think that Markus is getting sloppy".

The coffin sharing is also not unheard of (the spouses from The Flame Eternal), and I wonder if it's ever used as a grand gesture - to ask someone to be placed in the same tomb?

(And just imagine how messy this could get, the way people are. Building a tomb together only to have a falling out, what are you even supposed to do after that?)

Would it be romantic then, to tell your significant other that you don't want to ever part from them, even in death?

Beacause imagine Emmrich writing a quick letter to his friend from the Mourn Watch (Johanna, if they are still friends after all these years, or Myrna), "doing fine, on a saving the world business trip, will be back when I can; could I trouble you with a favor - a bigger coffin, installed in my tomb, not urgent, just whenever you have the time."

When the reply comes and his friend is (obviously) asking for a reason for such a sudden change, he just looks at Rook from the corner of his eye and replies with "no particular reason, just felt like it."

I’m sure some of you are probably waiting on that little comic for the event to ‘officially’ end, and if you are- thank you for your support and patience. Truly means alot. However, our life behind this little blog offline has temporarily become busier due to recent events. Due to this, the blog will possibly be on a week hiatus and the comic is postponed— or discontinued. Hurts me to say discontinued— due to how much I really want to draw it. Though I am willing to offer something for anyone interested.

As I have probably mentioned before from the past few posts, I am not one to write. I am a visual person and prefer doing comics for my personal preference. I admit I am horrible when it comes to descriptions that have to include writing paragraphs rather than having to draw the whole thing in action.

But because of the recent events that will lead to my inactivity for a few days, I’m going to ask the crowd— Can any of you write? Whatever it’ll be— fics, stories, you know the drill. I’m interested if anyone would like to continue on with my comic in the form of words because I don’t want to have to end the event just like that. Take example to when Elliot came by, and had to end the event not a day later.

This is the first time I’m doing this, and please forgive me if mistakes are made. If any of you are interested— please ask me more info on @agenteighter. Would truly appreciate and help me alot.

Ask the Oger Mask Festival Event!

Hi hi everyone!! I’ve been waiting a long time for this event, and I can finally say, the event is all set up and coming soon!!!

What is it?

This is a yearly festival, celebrated by villagers all over the island! It’s also the one day a year Aya and her dads leave the mountain!

Many activities are available during the event, such as food stalls, fortune telling, carnival games, and fireworks!

The event will be hosted at the largest village on the island! Guests are free to roam the main streets, forest, shrine, and designated buildings and lots. If exploring the residential areas, please keep the noise level down. In addition to Aya and her dads, a new character will be introduced to the ATO cast! All Five will be available for asks! The event WILL have/lead into some plot relevance, so keep your eyes out for that! 👀

When is it?

The festival starts on September 1st and will end on October 1st! The event duration may be extended if needed.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! Visitors are encouraged to wear a yukata or kimono of sorts, and, if they have the ability to turn into a gijinka or human, take that form. MASKS ARE MANDATORY.

Who can join?

Anyone in the PokeAsk community can join!!

How can I join?

You can join simply by interacting with anyone attending/during the event! If you would like to receive an invitation to the event, please reply to this post or DM me and I will send one out to you!

Henry is the exact same as he was in the game, Dave or rather William in this case is a Manipulative asshole

He WILLINGLY killed Dee, but he lead Henry into thinking that he made him kill Dee.

William was the one that came up with the idea to spread Fazbenders to Daycares.

I'm still working out a vast majority of it but I know that William got sent to the Void by accident as Blackjack is colorblind, Blackjack made a clone to replace William which is how we got Dave

While in the Void his body passively absorbs the Void around him replacing everything inside him with it
