I thought i escaped sims 4 but it's dragged my dumbass back again.

I hate this game. I need so many mods just to be able to just to fix it so i can play without being frustrated. but no matter how frustrated i get, i keep coming back : /

Anyways! Like my new little me? (i forgot what they're called. Avatar? *Shrug*) I'll put some more stuff (and doodles) about them under the cut

They're a candle! The body and oversize hoodie are all the wax and the undercut ponytail is the little flame (like Ember from Danny Phantom lol). Her feet are kinda goopy and her hands never show b/c the sleeves of the hoodie drip over them (sometimes driping off completely.)

i got kinda bored with my old one (drawing me but purple) so they got a little upgrade for my silly little personal doodles.

Scene Awsten Hair (And some bonus clothes)

While I made hair for Awsten before, I was never satisfied with the shape of the scene hair, and for a long time I felt this base mesh from Backyard Stuff, which I kept thinking was from Cool Kitchen Stuff, for awhile, would be perfect. But the bangs went the wrong way, so I decided to mirror the mesh in Blender, as that is like the only hair related thing I can modify, but then the UV mapping on the back was off, if you wanted to know why I screenshotted a lot of low angles, so I fixed that. And I'm really picky about which direction bangs fall. :)

Due to it being a mesh edit, it should not require any packs, tho due to the UV mapping editing, this hair is just standalone. Not to fret! In case you REALLY want this hair mirrored with the default textures and UV mapping, I made that too.

Pictured above is how Awsten normally treats me in this game. Due to how I made all this hair for him, I am able to have outfits for him and up to 4 different hairs with all different colors. The tricolor I use all the time, red & black for a few specific outfits, blue for just one, and now scene for two. This only matters to me really, but in case you're like me and like your Sims to change hair style and color a lot.

As a bonus, as I'm never gonna get to share these otherwise, I made some shirt and shoe recolors for him, the shoes and long stripes shirt are extra swatches onto vanilla stuff, the striped t-shirt is standalone. I spent like an hour on the damn shoes, I am sharing them. Oh and fingernails too. Those come with a second swatch for Jack, so two swatches. All should be base game. The shoes and tshirt come with extra swatches, the long sleeved shirt just has the one.

Surprisingly, despite being part of the horror genre, TMA does a lot for keeping my anxiety in check. I’ll have a thought like “Everyone thinks I’m stupid and shallow and nobody can nor will see me as I am!”and then go “Hmm.. this is kind of like the Lonely” and think about Martin instead of… um.. spiraling.

I ended up getting another one of those “three-picture” frames like the one I used for some of their honeymoon snaps (holds one vertical small photo, one horizontal small photo, and one vertical medium photo) and putting the best ones in there before selling the rest, then hanging the frame by the phonograph with said honeymoon pictures. :) I do love putting their photos up all over their house – really makes it feel like the place is THEIRS.

Victor, finishing in the greenhouse, then proceeded to Repairio every damn wind turbine (because they were all broken AGAIN, ugh), plus a water collector, before being sent to make eco-upgrade parts on the fabricator while Smiler got put back on “make computer chips” duty. Alice came back from the dump, and I decided to have her maybe make some more bulk sugar or flour for cooking –

O.o I ended up having to reset her AGAIN so she’d stop and listen to commands. *grimaces* Which – this is getting worrying. I mean, I’m glad I’ve learned the power of the Shift-Click, but stuff like this REALLY makes me wonder if this save file is officially on its last legs...

-->Well, couldn’t worry about that at the moment – with Alice deglitched again, I decided to instead have her make some jewelry! Because that’s supposed to be a thing she is doing now. I had Victor give her the Alabaster he’d dug up in Oasis Springs the other day, and directed her to combine that with the punium she had on her to make a Raw-style bracelet. While she was doing that, Smiler moved onto to making mechanisms, as they now had enough computer chips for a Servo (we’re so close!), and poor Victor got attacked by the Fabricator, prompting me to send his Fun-wanting bum to the study so he could Tickle The Ivories on his piano. XD After completing a mechanism, Smiler then was sent upstairs to have a bath and write some jokes, while I watched Alice to see if she would finish her bracelet before it was time for them to head to Totter Park for their weenie roast...

Nope. Rather than running out of time, though, Alice was just overwhelmed by her werewolf instincts demanding she go outside, so I let her go out into the rain and let out a somber howl to drop her Fury to as low as it would go. From there, it was just a matter of waiting until 5 PM for the weenie roast –

And instead of getting the “start the event” pop-up, I instead got a couple of notices about it being Cheerleading Day at the high school and the Spice Festival in San Myshuno. Puzzled and annoyed, I waited on-lot for a moment to see if the pop-up would trigger, then tried sending the trio to Totter Park on their own to see if THAT would get the event to start –

A piece about survivors guilt.

This comic isn't perfect. I started it back in October 2023, and every time I picked up my pen, I wept.

I bring this to you today, on 9/11, in hopes that you reflect on this day a little differently than how most Americans would. Let it move you to continue to boycott, protest and challenge your family, friends and colleagues. You have a bigger impact than you would believe.

I'd like to bring to attention the fact that the figures depicted above are a gross undercount of the actual number of deaths. I scoured the internet high and low to source my findings and not a single one could break down the devastation that befell an individual ethnicity. Instead, they lumped a bunch of ethnicities together, provided a general timeline, and called it a day, reinforcing the sheer scale of dehumanization propagated in the west. The only consistency between all the articles I looked up was the 4.5 to 4.7 million figure I've included above, and even then, they were all published by western media news outlets... the very same that have been so unreliable and complicit in the genocide of Palestinians today. So I have to take everything they say with a grain of salt.

We are not just numbers.

All of us have ambitions and desires and lives worth living.

And if you or someone you know sees or experiences a hate crime and can afford it, SUE. This is a more effective use of your money than most realise. The reason zionists act with impunity is because of the normalization of white supremacy and oppression of ethnic minorities. Challenging that in any capacity tells them that there are consequences to their actions and makes them think twice before engaging in hate crimes and helps raise all of us up against the systems currently in place that let them get away with it.

If you can't donate or spend any money, you can:

Do your daily clicks.

Boycott targeted companies on the BDS list (if you're like me and you don't want a single dollar to go towards anything supporting Israel right now, you can use Bdnaash to double check what products are okay to buy, but the BDS list is sufficient as it is a strategic attack and proven very effective thus far)

Flood your representatives emails and voicemails with how you won't be voting for them unless their politics align with an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Attend a protest, be LOUD.

Challenge your circle of friends, family and colleagues with conversations about Palestine. (THIS IS THE MOST UNDERRATED AND MOST EFFECTIVE THING YOU CAN DO)

and if you're really up to, be disruptive in any capacity that you can think of towards major corporations benefiting from this onslaught. (i.e. halting military manufacturers from production + shipments, sticking boycott stickers on products at your market etc)

And finally, if your country wasn't mentioned in the above excerpt, it was no deliberate omission on my part and I encourage you to come forward and tell your story about the suffering of your people so that this may be a learning opportunity for everyone.
