Compilation of the golden moments from this chapter aka me just rambling cause I have so many feelings about it ughhhh

- first things first: Chiffon and Lola finally reuniting? LOVE.

- the pure wholesomeness of having Jinbe back!!!!!! the strawhats literally forgetting about everything else and just wanting to turn the fuck up YES PLZ

- Franky’s “should we drink?” face YES

- Raizo being 👏🏻 so 👏🏻 done with Kin’emon’s bull shit but no one has the heart to tell Denjiro lmaoooo

- Law being like “yeah, let’s just use those two idiots (Luffy & Kid) as a diversion, they’re just gonna cause mayhem anyway” like boiiiii you’ve finally learned good for u

- the straw hats wiping out the guardians at the port no problem!!!!!!!! bad. ass.

- the scaredy cat trio doing what they do best

- ZORO’s PURE SMILE AS HE FOUND SOME ALCOHOL like boi u be getting lost trying to follow ur crew and getting stuck in chimneys but u can find alcohol easily no problem??? talk about priorities.

- the straw hats making the TIME to celebrate Jinbe!!!!!!!!! I fucking LOVE THEM 🥺

- literally EVERY THING about the kid pirates panels. killer being back, heat and wire’s faces, the crew proving that they’re a bunch of goofball hooligans who just love each other just like the Straw Hats!!!! my babiessss

- choppers face watching Jinbe do his thang!!! big mood

- who the frick frack is Kaido’s son?! and why are we so concerned about Big Mom changing into a kimono???

- I am sooooooo excited to meet the flying six!!! 😱

when you’ve put up with bad food and bad art your whole relationship—chapter 976 spoilers

Everybody’s crazy about Jinbe’s reappearance in chapter 976, and don’t get me wrong, it is awesome, and so is he, but you gotta feel for Kin’emon. 

For all the time he’s known Kanjuro he’s had to be appreciative of and use (and view) his less-than-stellar drawing skills. Case in point, Ryunosuke in Zou, and the poor sad sparrow in Dressrosa. To add insult to injury the food he created was also on the spoiled and unappetising side of things.

He probably could draw up a 3 star Michelin-rated meal rather than a head of rotten lettuce. And see below how proud Kin’emon is of Kanjuro, despite his appalling skill?

And then he comes out with this gorgeous crane, with the ability to fly very well (so Kanjuro’s bad art was also a delaying tactic, and something that put his “allies” in danger).

And what’s more, he turns the ocean into a  sumi-ink tumult, reminiscent of Hokusai, which is reflected in the name of the attack. Also, check out this gorgeously funny post for a Wano/Hokusai mash-up.

Lastly, a shout-out to Law, who probably cannot submerge his submarine with the scabbards lolling about and pontificating on top of it. Seems the Polar Tang will be mighty crowded soon, but what’s another few folk, considering how many it actually took to Wano? 

Also, the Minks are there too, I’m sure that Law and Bepo owe them some hospitality. And let’s not forget this tenuous analogy—Oden lifting the scabbards above him,  saving them from sure death by holding them out of a pot of boiling water...the Polar Tang surfacing and raising the samurai out of the turbulent waters. Comparing the actions here, not the people, and take note of the word tenuous. 

And Kid in true “I can eat more kibi-dango than you” style is determined not to fall behind the Straw Hats.

Guy doesn’t even have a rubber stomach. That’s some devoted gluttony for you.

After all, Luffy might get the kibi dango before Kid does, or whatever they’re feasting on at the banquet/festival on Onigashima. Roll on chapter 977.

Just saw your post about chapter 977: A liked it a lot. But after a few hours the thing that cames to my mind faster is the fact THAT KAIDO HAS A SON. LIKE MAN. That was an old theory but hearing it form Kaido himself blows my mind. Still processing.

RIGHT!!!!! I am so curious to know who it is! Is it someone we’ve already met?? Someone new entirely??? I’m a lil anxious lol

On chapter 969 we got this image:

If you look closely, you will see that Kiku, Ashura Doujin and the dog are in a gray scale, same as Lord Oden.

And, in the last chapter (976), those three say that if kinemon would die, they would die too.

so this leads me to  believe that kinemon, asura doji, inuarashi and o kiku will die

asura doji getting blown up after being stabbed  asura doji is on the upper left look at okikus reaction 

remember how kinemon was introduced as just a lower body now he is leaving it as just a lower body

and yamato will likely be upset and blame themselves for yamato left momonosuke to fight but if yamato stayed yamato could have protected them
