One piece spoilers, chapter 1147

Okay, the Brook, Gunko, God's Knights connection is intriguing

Seems Brook might have some knowledge of her (Soul King days, or way before?) And look at Usopp and Jinbei's exchange (Nami in the mix)

Hell of a groupie for sure. I hope she keeps being horrible so that I don't grow fond of her (or maybe because of it).

And the last page!!!

Robin and Ya-San to the rescue, and look at how amazing (but traumatised) our Robin looks. I'm not sure why Ripley's trying to stop Gaban/Gyaban though! I cannot wait for next week, and let me check! Yup, no break next week! (although, there usually is a break during Golden Week, I think).

Also, it was hilarious (but also stereotypical) that mother monster fears, or monster mother fears, wiped out the strongest warriors of Elbaf. I'm guessing/hoping that those dreams can be turned on the creators too, perhaps!

2 things:

1.) Hopefully we see Robin FINALLY awaken Haki since imho she should have BEEN had Haki! She trained with Sabo and the Revs for two years after all.

2.) I can see Gaban dying here. Apart from a reunion with Rayleigh what other role would he have? Not to mention his death would justify the hype that DRAGON gave the Gods Knights

i really liked the way doberman's and saturn's deaths were paralleled in this latest chapter. the meaning is very clear: the elders themselves are just as disposable to imu as the marines are to the elders.

you can give all of yourself to the war machine, dedicate your whole life to upholding its systems of violence, and it will still eradicate you mercilessly at the first sign of failure or insubordination.
