Agnes: Das Pindosgebirge sperrt sich immer noch gegen einen Besuch: auch normale Wochenenden sind ausgebucht. Also vertrauen wir der guten Hostelerfahrung und bleiben in Ioannina im Schlafsaal. Das bringt uns einen Wandertipp und einen Mitwandernden ein. Die Wanderung führt über gemauerte Steintreppen und schöne Alm auf den Beloi-Aussichtspunkt, der uns die Vikosschlucht, die wir durchwandern wollen, in der Gesamtsicht zeigt. Unterwegs Herbstwälder, durchfurchte, waldbedeckte Hügel (die noch schöner w��ren, wenn sie den Herrn nicht an den Alten Wald, aus dem Herrn der Ringe, erinnern würden) und Bergketten im Hintergrund.

Georg: Ich hab s hundert mal versucht mit Zoom und Bildausschnitten und, tadaa, da isses: Die Hecke zum Auenland, der wild gefurchte Alte Wald dahinter, in dem sicher auch irgendwo die Weidenwinde fließt und Tom Bombadil haust, samt einem, zugegeben etwas zu nahem Nebelgebirge im Hintergrund. =)

Die komplett aus Trockenmauern bestehenden Treppen den Steilhang hoch waren toll, ebenso wie die monumentale Schlucht an sich. Allerdings, beim wieder runter gehen ziemlich heftig für meine Knie. Das sollte sich am nächsten Tag noch rächen

Is it me or is the lake territories far too small compared to the old forest camps? The lake took up most of the land. Less prey in the winter for any clan.
