Today opens an exhibition at Tate Britain about life in the 1980s. It features a series of photos by Ingrid Pollard of boys who were 16 in 1989, just like Charles. The exhibition will run until 5th May 2025, so there’s plenty of time to see it. I hope I’ll mange to in the new year.

Although at the moment, I mostly post Dead Boy Detectives art as the fandom fights to get this wonderful show renewed, I also draw other stuff, and there will soon be new Sherlock and Tolkien pieces (e.g. illustrations for a book about The Hobbit for Legendaria Ediciones who also published these containing my watercolours):

I got this cameo as a gift from @im-perfectly-normal-about-this and I absolutely love it! It's so fun how silly they are with the orb names <3

It’s Open Day at my school today. Some year six students built castles. Visitors can create their own inhabitants. I made some example Dead Boys and let them haunt various buildings. To his delight, Edwin found a grey horse, and the boys paid a visit to “Herzensburg”, which translates as “Heart Castle”.

It’s interesting to see my icon there ... Guess it was the cameo I posted and the reactions it caused.
